Chapter 273: Nightfall Causes Trouble

Chapter 277: Trouble Under the Night Sky

Qin Yao possessed a "breathtaking" figure, her graceful, curvaceous body meticulously sculpted by heaven itself. She walked with a light step, swaying like a soft willow, an embodiment of captivating charm.

Her smile was enchanting. Her hair was a lustrous black, her skin as white as jade, smooth and delicate. Her eyes were alluring, and her vibrant red lips were exquisitely sensual, possessing a charm that could captivate anyone.

However, Ye Fan sensed trouble brewing. Feeling a hint of murderous intent, he quickly explained, "Don't listen to his nonsense; he's a bigmouth!"

Tu Fei, still being awkwardly chased by the large black dog and already quite far away, retorted, "You were the one who said it!"

Ye Fan snapped in anger, "Tu Bigmouth, you truly deserve a beating! No wonder that dog is chasing and biting you!"

"Why do I deserve a beating? Everything I said was true," Tu Fei argued back.

"Damn it, kid, you're insulting me! What do you mean 'chased and bitten by a dog'?" The large black dog growled in annoyance.

"I have nothing more to say to you!" Ye Fan turned away in exasperation. He then sheepishly addressed Qin Yao, "He's an unreliable person, full of wild exaggerations. You can just ignore him."

Qin Yao's sheer dress trailed on the ground, barely concealing her proud figure as she walked lightly towards him. A delicate hand rested on his shoulder, and her red lips parted slightly as she asked, "What did you say about 'sparring'?"

Her words were still gentle, and her fair, delicate face looked as if it could drip water, her eyes enchanting. Yet, one could sense the brewing storm beneath the calm surface.

"Nothing of the sort. That guy is completely making things up and talking nonsense."

"Why would he talk nonsense for no reason?!" Qin Yao began to grit her teeth, her graceful arms tensing as her slender fingers gripped his shoulder.

In the distance, Tu Fei had leaped into the sky. The large black dog, relentless, boarded its jade boat and continued its pursuit.

"Boom!"

Suddenly, both Tu Fei and the dog stopped. They heard a loud bang from behind, and the mountain trembled. Ye Fan shot into the sky, fleeing rapidly, while Qin Yao's dark hair streamed behind her, her white robes fluttering, as she pursued closely.

"What's wrong, Little Ye Zi? Why are you running?" Tu Fei asked.

"It's all because of you!" Ye Fan wanted to slap him but restrained himself. "Let's go quickly, get out of this minor world."

With that, he transformed into a wisp of a shadow, moving with lightning speed, dashing towards the exit of this minor realm. Behind him, Qin Yao's beautiful eyes, sharp as lightning, followed him like a shadow.

"Wait, don't run so fast," Tu Fei called out.

"This kid must have gotten into big trouble. I've never seen him flee so awkwardly before," the large black dog concluded.

The Old Madman's footwork was incomparably wondrous, comparable to the extreme speed of the Heavenly Peng. Ye Fan utilized it to its fullest extent and quickly reached the exit of this minor world.

Unfortunately, the demon clan members wouldn't let him pass. They blocked him as if he were a thief, and while they didn't attack, they simply wouldn't allow him to leave.

"What happened, Sister Qin Yao?" Not far away, a golden figure rushed over. The demon girl Jin Yan, flitting like a butterfly in her golden feathered robes, arrived nearby.

"Nothing!" Qin Yao replied calmly, evidently not wanting to make a big deal out of it.

"What did you do?" The demon girl was very hostile towards Ye Fan.

Ye Fan naturally didn't want to get entangled with her. He said, "Nothing at all. I've been a guest here for a long time, and I wish to leave. Fairy Qin is just seeing me off."

"Are you really leaving?" Jin Yan was eager for him to leave early. Hearing this, she immediately told the people nearby, "Quickly let him pass. We don't keep idlers here."

Qin Yao's expression remained calm as she said, "No, he can't leave yet."

"Why not?" Jin Yan asked, puzzled.

"I know why," the bigmouth Tu Fei announced, having caught up. "Fairy Qin and Little Ye Zi were sparring, and they collapsed the entire palace. She suffered a bit of a loss and wants to settle the score with him."

"Can you just shut up? Nobody thinks you're mute!" Ye Fan wanted to strangle him.

At this moment, Qin Yao's dark hair danced lightly, her face flushed with a deep blush. Her beautiful eyes were wide with a murderous impulse, and her pearly teeth were clenched tightly; she could no longer remain calm.

Jin Yan didn't believe it at all and retorted to Tu Fei, "What nonsense are you talking about? Sister Qin Yao has one foot practically in the Fourth Secret Realm; how could she possibly be defeated by him?"

"I saw it with my own eyes! If you don't believe me, go see for yourself. That entire palace is now a ruin, and this dead dog was even buried alive under it, almost suffocating," Tu Fei replied.

"Woof!" The large black dog lunged at him.

"How is that possible? Sister Qin Yao, is this true? You were defeated by someone in the Second Heavenly Layer of Dao Palace?" Jin Yan asked, puzzled, her face showing utter disbelief.

"Of course," Tu Fei said, clearly sensing something amiss and randomly chiming in. "They fought all night, and eventually, the Desolate Ancient Sacred Body was born."

"Sister Qin Yao, have another duel with him. I don't believe you can't defeat him," Jin Yan said.

"Little Ye Zi, a man should be magnanimous and gentle with women. It's fine to just lose one match," Tu Fei declared, showing his support.

Ye Fan: "..."

Qin Yao's face was crimson, and she was on the verge of going mad, her delicate fingers clutched so tightly they turned white.

"How about we just let it go? Fairy Qin, you're a person of great magnanimity; it's just one loss. You can spar with Little Ye Zi another time. He and I really should be leaving now," Tu Fei said, trying to be a peacemaker.

"No, you can't leave yet!" Qin Yao said softly but firmly.

"That's right, you can't leave. Let's have a fight first," Jin Yan said, eager to see Ye Fan defeated.

Ye Fan spoke softly, "Fairy Qin, let's spar another time. I really must leave now."

"Spar next time... go to hell!" Qin Yao finally couldn't hold back. At the mention of "sparring," she couldn't help but recall the intimate moments of the previous night.

She raised her delicate hand and unleashed a five-colored light barrier, enveloping Ye Fan.

"What's going on...?" Tu Fei exclaimed.

"If it weren't for your nonsense, none of this would be happening!" Ye Fan pushed Tu Fei away and shot towards the sky.

Qin Yao was a cultivator of the Fifth Heavenly Layer of Dao Palace, powerful and possessing astonishing techniques. Ye Fan, being only in the Second Heavenly Layer, couldn't possibly withstand her without fighting desperately. There was no suspense.

However, he couldn't possibly fight Qin Yao to the death, so he could only flee.

"Stop, don't run!" Jin Yan cried out.

Qin Yao said nothing, but pursued closely. Her long dress fluttered, like a fairy stepping on waves, utterly captivating.

"Fairy Qin, please ask the others to step back. Let's find a place for just the two of us to spar," Ye Fan said, wanting to explain to her in private.

However, these words took on a different meaning in Qin Yao's ears. She gritted her teeth in anger, "Little thief, you've benefited and now you're acting innocent! Today, I will peel a layer of skin off you!"

"It's a complete misunderstanding! I really didn't say anything out of line. That bigmouth was just guessing wildly and talking nonsense on his own," Ye Fan transmitted his voice, not wanting to deepen the misunderstanding further.

Jin Yan, in her radiant feathered robes that shimmered with streaks of light, showed a doubtful expression and asked, "Sister Qin Yao, is there something else going on?"

"No!" Qin Yao, graceful as a celestial butterfly, continued her pursuit from behind.

"Little Ye Zi, why don't you just spar with Fairy Qin Yao? Let her vent a little, and then we can leave," Tu Fei transmitted his voice from behind.

"Can you just shut your mouth completely?!" Ye Fan couldn't help but curse him, "You damn...!"

"Little Ye Zi, I'm doing this for your own good."

Qin Yao's delicate body trembled with rage, and she accelerated her pursuit. If she couldn't catch Ye Fan, she'd vent her frustration on Tu Fei.

However, Ye Fan ultimately vanished into the depths of the minor world with absolute speed, shaking off the few people behind him.

Half a day later, the large black dog, using its keen sense of smell, found him, and also brought Tu Fei along.

"Tu Bigmouth, I want to give you a good beating!" Ye Fan's expression was unfriendly.

"This Emperor finds him annoying too. Let's just bury him alive," the large black dog bared its fangs.

"Don't be so angry. What exactly did you do that was so outrageous?" Tu Fei asked.

"There was nothing wrong originally. It's all because of your rambling nonsense," Ye Fan said through clenched teeth.

"What was wrong with what I said?" Tu Fei pondered for a moment. Then he shrieked, "Could it be trouble caused by the night? You two... Oh my god, you beast!"

The two men and the dog stealthily moved, hoping to sneak out. However, the exit of the minor world was heavily guarded, and they dared not force their way through.

"They don't seem to intend to attack us. I think you need to go to Qin Yao's residence yourself and let her vent her anger," Tu Fei suggested.

This minor world was picturesque, with mountains undulating like coiled dragons, lakes dotted like bright pearls, fresh vegetation, and misty spiritual energy.

Ye Fan and his companions landed on a mountain peak. This was the cultivation place of the demon girl Jin Yan, and they hoped to leave this minor realm through her.

"It's you! How dare you come here?" Jin Yan sneered.

"Little girl, don't be so angry. Didn't you want me to leave earlier? The opportunity is right here; just send me out."

Jin Yan sneered, mocking him, "A toad wanting to eat swan meat, and now that you've failed, do you want to slink away?"

Ye Fan didn't want to argue with her. He said, "Since you don't want me to stay here, then send me out."

"I've changed my mind now. Sister Qin Yao wants to deal with you, and I think it's necessary to capture you and send you to her."

Several golden lights shot into the sky, flying towards the distant peaks. She had sent out a message.

Soon, from the beautiful mountains in the distance, three streaks of demonic energy surged and sped towards their location.

Bai Feng, with a feathered fan and a silk headscarf, his clothes white as snow, looked remarkably refined and otherworldly.

Jin Yu, in golden Daoist robes that shimmered brightly, had an imposing aura, and his eyes, as they opened and closed, gleamed like lightning.

Ku Zhu, in green robes, exuded a natural, fresh, and elegant aura.

"Brother Bai Feng, Brother Jin Yu, Brother Ku Zhu, seize this Desolate Ancient Waste Body. He offended Sister Qin Yao," Jin Yan said. "If you capture him and send him over, Sister Qin Yao will surely be very pleased."

These three were all geniuses in the Fifth Heavenly Layer of Dao Palace, capable of entering the Four Extremities Secret Realm at any time. If it were anyone else, they likely wouldn't have acted.

However, Ye Fan was different; he possessed the Source Root of Myriad Things Mother Qi. Although they hadn't shown it, they had always coveted it.

Now, with such an excuse to act, they naturally wouldn't maintain their aloofness. Moreover, they were indeed attracted to Qin Yao, so it could be said to be killing two birds with one stone.

"Little Brother Ye, you should just surrender, lest we harm our good relations."

"Brother Ye, rest assured, we will be careful and won't take your life."

The three spoke without revealing any murderous intent, but if they truly attacked, it would be a different story. If Ye Fan were hit, his mind and spirit would surely be destroyed.

Tu Fei and the large black dog wanted to help, but Ye Fan turned and left. This was demon territory, and if a real battle broke out, they would suffer greatly.

"I'll go find Qing Yi!" Tu Fei said.

"No need, I'll go find Qin Yao," Ye Fan shook his head. He flew directly towards Qin Yao's cultivation place.

Behind him, Jin Yan, Bai Feng, Jin Yu, and Ku Zhu pursued relentlessly, murderous aura permeating the air and swirling across the sky.

This was a beautiful place, with exotic flowers and rare plants everywhere, bees buzzing and butterflies flitting. Stone arched bridges lay across trickling streams that meandered through.

At this moment, it was evening. The great fiery orb was setting in the west, its evening glow dyeing the mountain peaks red, making the area even more beautiful.

Qin Yao was startled and flew out like a fairy treading on waves. Her figure proud, she looked at Ye Fan and said, "You dare to come here..."

"That's right, I want to talk to you." Ye Fan walked directly inside, entering the palace.

Just then, Jin Yan and the others descended, having also arrived.

"You can go back; it's nothing major. I'll handle it myself," Qin Yao said, glancing at them.

"Alright then..." Bai Feng nodded. Ku Zhu and Jin Yu also didn't say much.

Only Jin Yan was unwilling, but she couldn't force her way in, so she left dejectedly.

"They're not going to fight, are they?" Tu Fei murmured to himself.

"It's fine, that kid has thick skin and can't be beaten to death," the large black dog said nonchalantly.

Not long after, sounds of fierce fighting emanated from the palace and continued for a long time before stopping.

However, Tu Fei waited outside, but Ye Fan never emerged. He grew anxious and said, "Could they really be fighting to the death?"

Just then, Ye Fan transmitted his voice, "You two go back first. I'll find you when I'm done."

"Alright then, we'll wait for you at the exit of the minor world." Tu Fei and the large black dog flew off.

However, they waited and waited, but Ye Fan never appeared.

"Damn it, why isn't this kid back yet?" The Black Emperor was very displeased, because it was completely dark now; they clearly couldn't leave today.

"That beast!" Tu Fei also cursed.

They waited a whole night, but Ye Fan still didn't appear, until the next day, when the sky grew bright and the great fiery orb slowly rose from the east.

"This kid hasn't gotten into trouble, has he? This is demon territory, and he has the Source Root of Myriad Things Mother Qi on him; many people want to get their hands on him," the Black Emperor said.

"Let's go, quickly check it out." Tu Fei also felt something was wrong.

When they arrived at Qin Yao's residence again, they heard a loud rumble. The palace suddenly collapsed, and the unlucky large black dog, who had just rushed in, was buried alive.

"Damn it, I'm not drunk today! This damn definitely isn't an earthquake!" The large black dog cursed and struggled to crawl out from the ruins.

Tu Fei was also covered in dust and dirt, having been buried beneath, and cursed incessantly as he crawled out.

At this moment, the great fiery orb was just rising. Ye Fan stood amidst the rosy light, imbued with a brilliant radiance. He said, "Let's go, let's leave quickly."

This time, they successfully left the minor world. Even after walking a great distance, Tu Fei was still cursing, "You beast..."

"Your mind is too filthy. Nothing happened; you're just imagining things," Ye Fan retorted.

"You beast, don't follow me to Jade Lake anymore. I'm afraid you'll cause trouble..."

"Tu Bigmouth, don't slander me!" Ye Fan rebuked.
