In the starry sky, before the Heavenly Court, three magnificent divine temples stood tall. Within them, concentrated power of faith steamed with auspicious energy, like mighty furnaces, controlling life and death throughout the heavens and earth. This was a rare miracle in the world. The Heavenly Emperor's decree, spoken into existence, was like a thunderbolt, causing the three colossal temples to shake the heavens and earth, embodying the creation of the cosmos!

At this time, a grand gathering was taking place in the Heavenly Court. People lamented that the golden age was nearing its end, as many had slowly grown old. They gathered here, sharing wine and reminiscing about the past. Pristine immortal mist flowed, divine orchids and jade-like herbs grew beneath the steps, while sacred birds and auspicious beasts appeared. The area near the Heavenly Palace was exceptionally lively, with jade tables stretching far into the distance.

Pang Bo, still towering and powerfully built, his bronze skin glowing with precious light, was heartily drinking and engaging in lively discussions with Zhang Wenchang, Zhang Ziling, Dongfang Ye, Ji Haoyue, and others. Tu Fei, slurring his words, pulled Li Heishui aside, talking about old times, alternating between tears and laughter. Of the five "little bandits" from back then, only they two remained.

"May I ask your esteemed name, fairy? To meet such a peerless beauty on a beautiful day like this is truly one of life's greatest joys. Fairy, I toast you." Li Tian, though his hair was white as snow, his heart remained young. Swaying, he approached Yao Xi, trying to curry favor, his eyes glinting mischievously.

"Your wife is here," Yan Yixi subtly reminded him, still elegant as ever.

Li Tian resolutely and decisively stood up, then walked away from Yao Xi with determination, muttering mournfully, "A lion's roar at home... such retribution!"

"Hahaha..." Everyone nearby burst into laughter.

Xiao Que'er glared at them, then pulled Yao Xi towards another area. There were Gu Lin and Gu Fei, siblings, along with Xia Jiuyou, who was finally no longer grieving. Also present were the Lightning Phoenix "Tiny," raised by Ji Ziyue, and Little Grass from the Ziwei Star Domain, who had accompanied Nannan in her youth. All of them were relatively quiet.

"Master Duan, Cao Yusheng, when are we going to pull off a big one?" the Drunken Dragon Horse slurred, asking Duan De.

The Black Emperor, with one large paw resting on the unscrupulous Daoist's shoulder, embraced him, slurring, "If there are any immortal treasures, don't hide them away. Let's make one more move, and then we should retire."

"Alas, there's no time," Duan De sighed, shaking his head, reeking of alcohol. "I've been looking for a geomantically auspicious burial site recently, preparing to bury myself. We can meet again in the next life, assuming you're still alive then."

Nearby, Wang Shu and Lei Bo poured wine for the Black Emperor and others. Many years had passed, and the "Silver Blood Twin Emperors" had also aged, but they still held great reverence for the ferocious Black Dog Master.

"Back in the day, when the Emperor was young, and the Undying King was still in diapers, only this humble Daoist reigned supreme, guiding empires, looking down upon the world. In the blink of an eye, how many great tombs and ancient graves turned to dust, all at my command! Ask the world, who is a hero? Behold my unparalleled splendor!" Duan De slurred drunkenly.

"Time is a butcher's knife, whitening heroes' hair and bending this Emperor's waist. Even with my unparalleled might... damn it, I still haven't seen the Congenital Holy Body Dao Embryo!" the Black Emperor complained drunkenly.

Heavenly soldiers came to report that Li Ruoyu had arrived. Zhang Wenchang and the others were overjoyed and personally went to greet him.

Soon after, Bai Ye arrived. He was a young man from the first of the nine Emperor Gates on the ancient path. Initially, he wasn't suited for cultivation, but with Ye Fan's encouragement and guidance, he persevered with great determination and had now become a powerful figure of his generation. Although not Ye Fan's direct disciple, he shared a mentor-apprentice bond with him. He sat with Huahua, Yang Xi, Zhang Qingyang, and Long Yuxuan, drinking cup after cup, creating a lively atmosphere.

Ye Tong and Jiang Tingting were also present. One possessed the Solar Body, the other the Lunar Body, and they had long been married. However, after many years, they still had no children, which was a source of regret. Everyone was curious to see what kind of heaven-defying bloodline their descendants would possess. Many people were present, but unfortunately, many had also passed away. For instance, of the original Twelve Sages, even after several replacements, only the Nine-tailed Alligator Dragon, the Golden-winged Great Peng, and the Dragon Horse remained.

In the magnificent Heavenly Palace, everyone clinked glasses, drank joyfully, shared hearty laughter, and shed genuine tears. Ye Fan once asked if they wished for immortality, and their answers varied.

"The most important thing in life is a peaceful and content state of mind; that is enough."

"If I don't see the Congenital Holy Body Dao Embryo, I won't rest in peace!"

"Boom!"

In the distance, smoke and dust billowed skyward, and faint traces of imperial laws spread, astonishing everyone. The Heavenly Palace had been leveled! The Saint Prince shot to his feet, muttering, "That mischievous little rascal!" He knew who was responsible.

At the same time, Pang Bo also stood up, exclaiming angrily, "That little brat is getting more and more out of hand!"

Indeed, heavenly soldiers and generals arrived to report, confirming their suspicions. The Saint Prince's only young son had been born again, escaping from the divine source. Taking advantage of everyone's drinking, he and one of Pang Bo's favorite descendants once again re-enacted the 'Havoc in Heaven' scene, dismantling several ancient halls.

The little monkey and Pang Gu had been sealed away in the source when they were very young, along with the Saint Prince's Immortal Iron Rod and Pang Bo's Demon Emperor Ruler. It must be said that the little monkey was extremely mischievous. Several times, upon awakening, it would sneak out of the source, causing chaos everywhere, addicted to mischief. This was both frustrating and amusing. Despite being sealed in the divine source, it would emerge again and again, causing trouble every few decades. How could it be considered sealed? It was truly ludicrous. It wasn't enough that it emerged by itself; it often brought along other children, like Pang Gu this time. Fortunately, Ye Fan was the current Heavenly Emperor and could refine divine source liquid at any time, otherwise, the sheer waste would have been unaffordable.

"Mom, help!" the little monkey wailed, pleading for rescue, as the Saint Prince dragged him over. His big, dark eyes darted mischievously.

The Six-Eared Macaque stepped forward, slapping his backside soundly. "If you dare to sneak out again," she warned, "I'll spank your bottom raw, and seal you directly so you won't wake up for a million years."

"No, don't! Mom, I was wrong, I just missed you all, that's why I came out!"

The little monkey cried out.

Everyone smiled.

As the gathering dispersed, the Heavenly Palace grew quiet, leaving only Ye Fan. He stood by the window, bathed in a layer of pure white moonlight.

"Is this era truly coming to an end?"

By now, he was the only one still in an ascendant phase, his vigor surging, still growing stronger. All other living individuals of his generation had either entered old age or begun their decline. Who in life can always soar? Ye Fan gazed alone at the starry sky, contemplating that perhaps when they gathered again, many would be gone.

The golden age was nearing its end. The brilliant constellation of talents was no longer to be seen; the prodigious figures of yesteryear had aged, and many had even succumbed to old injuries. The fading after peak glory had already begun to manifest.

During this period, Ye Fan once visited the ancient path, then traveled to various places. Unfortunately, not many of the powerful figures who once contended on the ancient path remained; he met only a few. Rui Wei ended his painful life. Yu Xian and Tuoba Yu had passed away many years ago. Mu Guanghan and Ku Tou Tuo's vital energy had waned. Only Ou Ye Mo had reached the Quasi-Emperor realm.

Five hundred years later, Ye Fan unexpectedly encountered Yi Qingwu in the starry sky. They stood in silent understanding for a long time before finally laughing together, their laughter dissolving all past animosity. In fact, by this point, Ye Fan had no enemies in his heart, only old acquaintances. And Yi Qingwu had finally let go; as time passed, many things could be released, and the path ahead would become wider.

As the years ebbed and flowed, when Ye Fan was over eight thousand years old, he remained incredibly youthful. His body was crystalline, his black hair thick and abundant, looking no different from when he was twenty. During his travels, he successively met Di Tian, Xin Lan, the Human King, the Great Devil God, and Fairy Qingshi. However, they were all old, and a sense of melancholy lingered. Their final shared drink dissolved all the grievances of the past.

"The Heavenly Emperor is invincible, not just in strength, but also in his state of mind. All past enemies have become old acquaintances in his heart. I hope we live a long time, to share this era with him..." Di Tian gazed at the vast sky, sighing to the stars and moon.

The golden age was in its final stages; various heroic figures were rarely seen. It was truly approaching its end. The great era sighed over ten thousand years. How many prodigies, how many beauties, had all been buried by time. However, during this late stage, some heroic figures suddenly reappeared. Their sorrowful roars soared to the heavens as they prepared for their final struggle in life, their brilliance illuminating the entire cosmos. Like comets, they ignited the firmament, forever etched in historical records, concluding their lives with tragic grandeur.

During this period, Yin Tiande arrived, requesting a final battle with Ye Fan. Ye Fan quietly observed him. This former great enemy, the first genius to display divine forbidden arts, had truly grown old, his hair white as snow. Yet, the light in his eyes was so fervent, like flames, indicating his intense desire for a final showdown with Ye Fan.

"Very well," Ye Fan nodded, granting his request.

The outcome was without suspense. Even if Yin Tiande defied heaven again, he could not withstand a single strike from the Heavenly Emperor. Across the vast world, Ye Fan had found no worthy opponents for thousands of years. Ye Fan healed his dao injuries with his own vital energy, then turned and left. Over a thousand years later, Yin Tiande passed away.

During this time, Shen Zun and Yan Chongtian also came to challenge him. They ignited their own bodies amidst flames, hoping for a final battle with the Heavenly Emperor, to conclude their lives without regret. One was the resilient and indomitable Lord of the God Clan, who had diligently cultivated divine arts and possessed world-shaking power. The other was a genius Ye Fan encountered after crossing the Sea of Bitterness of Lingbao Heavenly Venerate and reaching the Divine Shore. He was hailed as the second strongest under the starry sky, having consumed some essence from the ancient Tree of Life, but had also suffered a great Dao injury, which now resurfaced. Ye Fan fulfilled their wishes, allowing the warriors to walk valiantly on their path, enabling them to sublimate in the flames and erupt in brilliant smiles.

A thousand years passed in the blink of an eye! In the final years of this era, the grand spectacle of shining stars reappeared. One heroic figure after another wailed tragically, soaring skyward, radiating brilliantly under the starry sky, making their final, unyielding stand in life. Alas, they were ultimately powerless against fate; no one could become an Emperor. One by one, these flowers of battle withered.

Who can always soar to great heights? The golden age had finally reached its end, poised for its curtain call. The unyielding Zhou Yi, the stunning Jiang Yifei, the peerless beauty of the Saintess of Jade Lake, the legendary Congenital Dao Embryo Zixia—one by one, they all faded away, no longer seen in the world. The unparalleled divine being Xiang Yufei also ultimately passed away before Qinling Lake, able to sleep beside his beloved woman. Yet, he too had a sense of desolation; before his demise, he uttered the three words 'Gai Jiuyou' and then became motionless.

The golden age concluded!

Time, like a blade, cut down prodigies!

The whole world fell silent. Ye Fan alone gazed at the sky, not uttering a word. No one knew his feelings at that moment.

I'm quite satisfied with these chapters. This isn't about filling plot holes; the main plot holes were addressed long ago. Now, I'm simply describing the conclusion of a grand era. Those who like it will naturally enjoy it, while others might find it mundane. As for a very few readers, I'm unable to satisfy them, because no matter what, they will only ever curse from beginning to end.

There are still a few plot points to touch upon, which will naturally come next.

Unlike *Divine Grave* and *World of Immortals* which concluded with united efforts, impassioned struggles, and fighting a common enemy hand-in-hand, this book is certainly not like that. It is unique, not like those two previous works. In the later stages of writing, Chen Dong cannot satisfy every reader. Naturally, some will like it, others will be indifferent. No one can please everyone. Some brothers and sisters are nostalgic, often bringing up *Divine Grave* and *World of Immortals*. But what was the reality? I remember the review section for *Divine Grave* was very chaotic. It improved somewhat by *World of Immortals*, and now, at the end of this book, the atmosphere is actually much better than in the past.

It's finally coming to an end. I also feel reluctant, but just like the grand era in the book, it must eventually conclude. The completion date has gone past my planned May 9th, but I won't rush to finish it due to time constraints. I need to extend it by a few days because I want to carefully write the remaining chapters to ensure a perfect conclusion.

Thank you to all my brothers and sisters for your support. Chen Dong expresses his deepest, heartfelt gratitude; everything I have now is because of you.
