Chapter 1752: Road Blocked

Ye Fan expounded upon scriptures and discussed the principles of the Great Dao, revealing the profound truths of existence. His explanations of various subtle concepts enlightened many, as if a sudden wisdom had dawned upon them, leading to complete clarity.

For seven days straight, Ye Fan sat cross-legged on the cliff, the Dao platform beneath him radiating a divine glow. He appeared both solemn and majestic, like a Buddha yet also resembling a great demon. His chanting echoed through heaven and earth, drawing listeners into a profound state from which they found it impossible to withdraw.

In the void, Dao lotuses bloomed one after another, and from the heavens, crystalline petals drifted down. Divine springs gurgled from the earth, and the entire Jade Lake shimmered with iridescent light, completely immersed in a boundless aura of Dao.

All who came to hear the teachings gained something. Those who benefited most felt their minds become clear and profound, directly achieving enlightenment and breaking through to a new realm. Even those with lesser gains grasped secret arts and scriptures, deepening their understanding, an accumulation that would greatly benefit their future cultivation.

Such was the profound Dao cultivation of the Great Accomplished Sacred Body. His days of lecturing led a large number of people to achieve breakthroughs, making their journey truly worthwhile. Many rushed from various heavens and distant domains, completely filling the open space outside the Jade Lake.

People sighed in awe, realizing that Ye Fan's realm was far beyond their comprehension. He was truly exalted, akin to ancient Great Emperors, having become a mythical-level powerhouse capable of sweeping across the universe and spanning a hundred thousand years of time.

As the seventh day concluded, Ye Fan ceased his lecture. A group of people approached to greet him. Gazing at their once familiar faces, now tinged with reverence, he realized that time had passed, and some things had changed, making it impossible to return to how they once were.

Even old friends like the Great Xia Imperial Prince and the Jade Lake Saintess were noticeably reserved around him, a clear sign of the shift. Ye Fan made no deliberate attempt to alter this dynamic, instead continuing to clink glasses and share drinks with them as he always had.

It was only after a considerable time that some old acquaintances began to relax, no longer feeling so burdened by his identity and cultivation. Yao Yuekong arrived, laughing boisterously, and joined the Great Xia Imperial Prince in pouring wine for Ye Fan.

Naturally, those who had only met him a few times and were less familiar remained less at ease, sitting upright, speaking cautiously, and acting with extreme care.

Phoenix, however, departed directly, not approaching to greet him.

"Brother Ye, are you leaving already? Why not stay a few more days?" Yao Yuekong urged.

Ye Fan emptied his cup and replied, "Are you still being formal with me? If you truly wish to see me, come to the Heavenly Court. The gates are always open for you. Brothers who have fought side by side shouldn't act this way."

He concluded with these direct words.

"Alright, we were being overly sentimental. No matter what, you are our Brother Ye. Even if you surpass a Heavenly Venerable in the future, it won't erase the years we spent together adventuring through the Eastern Wasteland. Good brothers don't forget each other."

"That's how brothers should be. We will definitely visit the Heavenly Court, and we might just stay there indefinitely."

Yao Yuekong and the Great Xia Imperial Prince Xia Yiming burst into laughter, their eyes hazy with drink, as if transported back to their youthful days. They recalled their unforgettable adventures, traversing the Eastern Wasteland and Central State, and engaging in stone gambling battles in the Northern Region Divine City.

"Brother Ye, your divine power was unmatched this time, destroying a forbidden zone. The impact is immense, so you must be cautious. I believe other forbidden lands will be exceptionally wary of you and might have secret plans to counteract you," the Jade Lake Saintess said.

"No need to worry; at the very least, they won't dare for the next eight thousand years!" As Ye Fan spoke, his eyes blazed, shooting astonishing beams of light towards the distant forbidden zones.

"Senior Ye, after you leave, will anyone emerge from there? For instance... those Forbidden Zone Descendants?" a young man timidly inquired.

"Yes, Uncle. My mother died during the dark turmoil, and one of my uncles was killed by such people not long ago." Princess Yudie's child, Porcelain Doll, now grown, was on the verge of tears.

This child was remarkably gifted, and her cultivation had already made her a prominent figure in Beidou. Yet, she was currently no match for the Forbidden Zone Descendants, whom she utterly loathed.

In the past, within the Beidou Star Domain, two young cultivators had deeply impressed Ye Fan with their talent: a young monk from the Western Desert and Porcelain Doll. Both possessed an innate wisdom for cultivation far beyond ordinary individuals.

"Don't worry, I won't allow them to cause chaos," Ye Fan said, having already risen. A sound wave, not exceptionally loud, emanated from the stone cliff, sweeping across the entire ancient star.

"If any Forbidden Zone Descendants dare to presumptuously emerge and cause chaos, I will personally take up arms and slaughter them!"

These words, though calm rather than boisterous, resonated across all regions. They served as a declaration and, more importantly, a warning, as Ye Fan established rules specifically for the major forbidden zones.

"This is outrageous!"

Inside the forbidden zones, some immediately blanched. These were the descendants of Imperial Path powerhouses, who had never been commanded so directly by anyone, not even by their own fathers.

Yet Ye Fan showed no quarter, issuing a stern warning that any transgression would lead to their demise.

Ignoring them, Ye Fan ascended, tearing open a golden rift in the sky. He vanished from the Beidou Star Domain and returned to the Heavenly Court.

Not long after, people discovered that the Forbidden Zone Descendants had indeed emerged. Everyone's hearts jolted: had Ye Fan's words been ineffective, perhaps even provoking a rebellious impulse to unleash a bloodbath upon the world?

However, their worries were unfounded; these individuals did not make a move.

Furthermore, several days later, Ye Fan's disciples arrived in Beidou for training. Ye Tong and Yang Xi had clearly come with the Forbidden Zone Descendants in mind. They roamed the area; one was seeking a breakthrough, while the other, a battle fanatic, had been commanded by their master to oversee the situation here.

"What grand display of authority, sending a few disciples here, thinking that will deter us?" someone muttered indignantly, brows furrowed.

Yet, such defiance remained mere words. What else could they do? Would they truly dare provoke someone from Ye Fan's lineage? Perhaps the Great Accomplished Sacred Body was merely waiting for such an excuse.

The Forbidden Zone Descendants sadly realized that ever since Ye Fan had slain the Carefree Heavenly Venerable, he had truly become the supreme power in this world. Even their own ancestors were unwilling to provoke him; if they were to turn hostile, Ye Fan would undoubtedly invade the forbidden zones, forcing the ancient supremes to undergo sublimation. Once their lifespans were so drastically shortened, they would likely be unable to sustain themselves and would not survive in this world.

Ye Fan's single battle had forged an illustrious reputation!

The people of Beidou realized their anxieties were unfounded; many days passed peacefully. With Ye Fan's disciples now present, there was truly nothing more to fear. The Forbidden Zone Descendants were suppressed and dared not act presumptuously.

Huahua, the third disciple, who had been the least diligent and wasted considerable time, was also about to undergo tribulation, choosing a location outside the Beidou Star Domain.

Xiaosong, filled with curiosity, traveled across the Eastern Wasteland, retracing his master's past footsteps to understand his journey.

With the simultaneous appearance of all four of Ye Fan's disciples, people felt completely at ease. They were surprised to observe that the Forbidden Zone Descendants were deliberately avoiding these disciples, ultimately choosing to journey afar or retreat back into their forbidden lands rather than remaining in the same region.

Centuries passed in the blink of an eye, and Ye Fan reached his millennium. He self-deprecatingly referred to himself as an elder, yet his vitality was more robust than ever.

Having achieved the Great Accomplished Sacred Body, and with centuries of consolidation and Dao comprehension, his personal state reached its absolute peak. He had never been so powerful, truly deserving the title of "divine might unparalleled!"

During this period, he made several concerted attempts to advance into the Great Emperor realm. He had already pushed halfway in but was not content; he wished to fully step into it.

Finally, Ye Fan achieved yet another breakthrough!

He underwent extreme sublimation, reaching the zenith of his life and achieving an unconventional path to the Dao.

Unfortunately, like his predecessors, he remained incomplete, unable to fully enter that realm. The Great Dao acted like shackles, restricting his progress and hindering his ultimate leap.

Relatively speaking, he was now stronger than he had been centuries ago. After achieving Great Perfection of the Sacred Body and undergoing extreme sublimation, he was truly invincible, both in heaven and on earth!

"Perhaps in this life, I've reached the absolute limit of what the Sacred Body can achieve. Breaking through further is incredibly difficult. Based on my deductions, such an attempt would be a near-fatal undertaking with little chance of success."

There was no path ahead. For centuries, Ye Fan had cultivated an unconventional Dao, standing at the very pinnacle of the Human Sacred Body's ultimate potential. From this point, he faced only endless darkness.

The path was broken, and an abyss lay ahead. Now, it was up to him to forge a continuation. How would he bring about this change, he pondered? The ancient Great Sacred Bodies had all been halted here; not one had managed to break through.

Now it was his turn; would he too be halted here?

"I will mend the broken path of the Sacred Body; I will change it!"

He pondered day and night, pouring his heart and soul into the endeavor. He used chaos as a cauldron, nearly dissolving himself, yet still failed. The path ahead remained broken, impossible to traverse.

Over the years, many events transpired, one of which had a monumental impact: Yang Xi and Ye Tong battled the Three Gods Beyond the World, with the two brothers utterly annihilating them in the Ziwei Star Domain.

This incident caused a massive uproar, even prompting a giant hand to reach out from Undying Mountain, nearly seizing the two brothers.

Ye Fan was alerted and emerged precisely when needed. His true form strode across heaven and earth, and with a single stomp, he shattered the giant hand. The resulting turmoil was immense, causing all eight directions to tremble!

A Supreme-level battle was on the verge of erupting, bringing the atmosphere across the vast universe to extreme tension.

Ultimately, the Supreme retreated, leaving a single message: "See you on Fei Xian Star!"

It was also during this terrifying conflict that people learned of an impending anomaly on Fei Xian Star. After several centuries, perhaps another opportunity to draw out ancient Supremes was about to present itself.

"Stone Emperor, are you still alive?!" Ye Fan's gaze was cold then. He had sensed the aura of another individual from that presence—the Stone Emperor.

A century passed since the turmoil. Ye Fan stood at the absolute vanguard of the Sacred Body's broken path, having pushed himself to the peak. He feared no battle with a Primordial Emperor, but he also knew he had to prepare, for an earth-shattering war might genuinely be on the horizon.

On Fei Xian Star, the central seal was fracturing in all directions, emitting various streaks of immortal light and auspicious glows that illuminated the mortal world. Faintly, the magnificent aura of the Immortal Realm could be discerned.

"Will this demonic land, sealed since the Mythological Era, be the opportunity for immortalization?"

"Legend has it that immortals once descended upon Fei Xian Star to suppress several great demon lords. Is it about to reappear this time?"

Before one crisis could subside, another arose. As Ye Fan reached his thousandth year, Fei Xian Star underwent a transformation, drawing the attention of powerful races from across various galaxies and disturbing the tranquility of the forbidden zones.

"A golden age, hehe, haha..." someone scoffed bitterly. The so-called emergence of many kings and the dawn of a golden era felt like a cruel irony. It hadn't even been a thousand years, and yet Supremes were about to appear again?

"A golden age will indeed come, thousands of years from now, a magnificent era of countless heroes vying for supremacy. Ultimately, the competition for the Great Dao will culminate in peak confrontations, and Emperors will emerge in later generations," someone predicted.

Yet this time, Supremes were once again about to emerge. Who would concern themselves with events thousands of years in the future? After this turmoil, would they even glimpse an immortal?
