Chapter 1746: Yungen

The Sea of Reincarnation gleamed silver, resembling an endless river of stars cascading downwards to form a vast ocean. It was immensely vast, without boundaries, an endless silver expanse larger than the entire Eastern Wasteland. Yet, on normal days, no trace of it could be found. Clearly, this was a separate realm, with its only exit connecting to the Big Dipper region.

Silver waves surged, like a metallic storm sweeping forth! Ye Fan walked upon the waves, and all the terrifying surges parted beneath his feet, unable to impede his progress. Even the laws of a Supreme Being were shattered.

"Junior, your arrogance reaches the heavens! Do you truly believe you alone can level the Sea of Reincarnation?" This voice echoed across the Eastern Wasteland, shaking the world. The fury of a Supreme Being made everyone tremble. The world was stunned, realizing that this time, a true battle seemed imminent, rather than the usual unspoken equilibrium.

"Is it not just you? Or is there a nest of Supremes here?" Ye Fan replied calmly, his language remarkably disrespectful, referring to Supreme Beings as a "nest."

"It seems you know quite a lot," the voice from within the Sea of Reincarnation responded, now even colder.

Ye Fan sneered but said nothing. He had ventured into the Netherworld and learned much from the Prison Suppressing Emperor. He knew that among the Big Dipper's seven great restricted zones, the Sea of Reincarnation was now the weakest, with only one remaining Supreme Being. He recalled how mighty they once were, but tragically, one or two of their numbers had been slain by the Great Emperor of Void tens of thousands of years ago, and the Lord of Reincarnation had also met an untimely end centuries prior. Now, only one remained.

"Do you intend to level all the restricted zones, one by one? With such ambitions, heaven and earth will not tolerate you; you will die without a burial place!" a roar echoed from the depths of the Sea of Reincarnation. This challenge also served as a warning to the other restricted zones, hoping they would intervene and eliminate Ye Fan. However, the seven great forbidden zones each held their own supremacy and were even hostile to one another. It was inconceivable that any would mobilize to aid him, especially since the Sacred Body's power was now undeniable, and even a Supreme Being might perish in such an encounter. In fact, the other restricted zones were rather eager, hoping he would engage Ye Fan in battle to gauge the ultimate power of the Great Accomplished Sacred Body. Some even wished he would push his limits to their extreme, pulling Ye Fan down with him into oblivion, thereby eliminating a potentially immense threat.

"I merely wish to level this place. I recall that during my tribulation, you were relentless, consuming my essence. Now that I am here in person, try it again!" Ye Fan declared powerfully. He stomped his foot, instantly sending towering waves skyward, shaking the entire Sea of Reincarnation and causing it to boil. Giant palaces and floating islands within the sea shattered, disintegrating into dust under Ye Fan's overwhelming vital energy. His immense aura was simply irresistible.

"Junior, you presume too much. Do you truly wish to force me to emerge? If this becomes a decisive battle, it will be you who falls!" the Supreme Being of the Sea of Reincarnation stated mercilessly.

Ye Fan laughed aloud, yet his gaze remained chilling. "You can avoid this battle," he stated, "by offering an immortal medicine or a Nine-Revolution Immortal Pill. You must account for your attack on me that day!" He made no attempt to conceal his intention, outright extorting a Supreme Being. His purpose was blatant and undisguised. As he himself had declared, he could not simply overlook the fact that he had been surrounded and attacked by multiple Supreme Beings during his tribulation. Without compensation, he would not hesitate to initiate a major conflict, forcing the Supreme Being to emerge. At that point, these Supreme Beings, whose vital energy was waning and who were long past their prime, would certainly be at a severe disadvantage, perhaps even unable to survive this era.

Unfortunately, the Sea of Reincarnation's immortal treasures were depleted; Ye Fan found nothing worth taking after his arrival. The Supreme Being of the Sea of Reincarnation, despite having clearly tried to kill him and obstruct his tribulation, maintained an unyielding stance. This defiant attitude solidified Ye Fan's decision to engage in a full-scale battle.

"There is no immortal medicine, and if any Nine-Revolution Immortal Pills remained, I would consume them myself. Do not indulge in such foolish delusions!" the Supreme Being of the Sea of Reincarnation declared coldly. He sighed inwardly, steeling himself. He truly possessed nothing of value to offer. The young junior before him was formidable and clearly intent on extracting a heavy price, leaving him no choice but to respond with equal force.

Outside, everyone was shocked. Ye Fan... inspired both awe and speechlessness. He was brazenly extorting a Supreme Being! How could he be so audacious, so reckless? Clearly, he feared no battle!

"You are courting death! Do not imagine yourself invincible merely because you've slain two Hegemons. What is one who has not attained the Dao? If you truly force someone like me to undergo ultimate sublimation, what are you but an ant!" The voice from the depths of the Sea of Reincarnation was immense, shaking the cosmos. The supreme being within was cold and merciless, its words harsh, yet undeniably powerful. There was no longer any room for maneuver. He knew Ye Fan would undoubtedly make a move, forcing a battle. Rather than endure silently, he decided to emerge with full grandeur.

Deep within the Sea of Reincarnation stood a colossal ancient tree, its majestic canopy reaching into the clouds. Grand palaces were built upon its trunk, creating a fantastical sight. However, the tree had long since withered; now devoid of leaves, only bare branches remained. Ye Fan was astonished. This ancient tree must have been incredibly tall, seemingly stretching into the cosmos itself, where moons orbited and chaotic energy emanated. The ancient structures on its branches were magnificent, ascending like steps. Each building contained only withered bones, the remains of ancient heroes. These were the adherents of the Sea of Reincarnation, a once glorious sacred land that had become their burial ground. Many had chosen this place as their final resting spot. Even the ancient venerables could not ensure everyone's survival—a harsh reality. Though people struggled against the ravages of time, ultimately, all were destined to die.

Ye Fan sighed inwardly, a sudden realization striking him. The Heavenly Court was currently thriving, but what would happen one day when he grew old, and his followers, too, succumbed to the passage of time? Perhaps it would be just like this — a magnificent legacy, an unrivaled era, a glorious Heavenly Court, destined to conclude and become a burial site.

This was no time for distraction. Ye Fan refocused his mind and pressed forward. At the very apex of the ancient tree, instead of an ancient building, stood a grand and towering mountain, suspended above the canopy. It appeared to suppress the Sea of Reincarnation, with strands of chaotic energy cascading from it. There, vital energy surged like a vast sea, and a figure had already materialized upon the mountain peak. From a distance, the peak was shrouded in mist, where a majestic black figure stood, radiating a demonic aura so oppressive it made one want to cease breathing.

The Supreme Being of the Sea of Reincarnation had emerged. In that instant, the entire Eastern Wasteland seemed on the verge of collapse; mountains rumbled and shook, and the vast wilderness fractured. Ye Fan let out a cold snort as Dao principles soared forth, immortal light radiating to stabilize the heavens and earth. His gaze fixed on the figure atop the mountain peak, which crowned the colossal tree. The black demonic figure was overwhelmingly oppressive. It spoke in an ancient, unintelligible language that sounded like a terrifying curse. The silver seawater began to boil, then surged skyward. In the figure's hand, a treasure vase appeared, into which he swiftly and violently drew the entire Sea of Reincarnation. During this process, even the sun, moon, and stars trembled with the immense fluctuations, a truly terrifying sight.

He revealed his true form: a middle-aged man with jet-black hair and sharp, intimidating silver eyes. Although he appeared human, Ye Fan knew he could not be of the human race; this was not his true racial manifestation. In his hand was a precious vase crafted from Immortal Tear Green Gold, into which the forbidden silver sea was completely absorbed, leaving not a single drop. The ancient tree then lifted itself from the ground. Surprisingly, it had no roots, consisting solely of branches. It rapidly shrank, eventually settling into the treasure vase, where it remained. Ye Fan was surprised; after shrinking, the branches eerily resembled a human form, bizarrely shaped, causing a jolt in his heart.

"The Emperor's precious medicine!" However, this immortal tree had long since lost its life essence, having been refined into a weapon. It no longer possessed the power to bring the dead back to life. Ye Fan's eyes gleamed. The Sea of Reincarnation was far from simple; it had once acquired that human-shaped immortal medicine and pruned its branches. Such a medicine was not something an ordinary person could possess.

"Come, let us battle beyond this realm!" Ye Fan had no desire to devastate the Big Dipper, and the Supreme Being of the Sea of Reincarnation likewise did not linger. Reckless battle in this area, home to other restricted zones, could provoke many.

Amidst the shimmering starlight, Ye Fan stood firm. The Supreme Being from the Sea of Reincarnation, named Yun Geng, was profound and unfathomable. He murmured softly, and demonic incantations reverberated throughout the universe. Silently, countless colossal steles materialized around Ye Fan, towering into the cosmos and encircling him, creating an astonishing spectacle. The stone steles were truly immense, continuously expanding until even the sun, moon, and stars orbited them. They were solemn, majestic, and astonishing, leaving all observers stunned.

What kind of scene was this? Ancient steles spanned the cosmos, one after another, like monumental gravestones for immortals, filling the starry expanse. Compared to them, all the stars in the heavens seemed utterly insignificant. A colossal wave of energy emanated, threatening to bury Ye Fan right there.

"Reincarnation through three realms, my name etched for eternities. Proclaim to all gods: the Nine Heavens and Ten Earths shall obey my command." The incantation resonated through the cosmos. Each tombstone bore the engraved name "Yun Geng," shining through past, present, and future, as if consecrated by the collective blood sacrifice of all gods. It was an eerie scene. Each monumental stele was ancient and mysterious; the light of its characters faded as an inexplicable aura spread. Ye Fan then felt his soul threatening to leave his body, drawn as if to a sacrifice.

"Still!" Ye Fan bellowed, a brilliant light erupting from his brow as the 'Pre-character Secret' activated, stabilizing his primordial spirit. He stared at all the ancient steles and Yun Geng, declaring, "So it was you!" This was not the first time he had witnessed such a cultivation method. He had been astonished by it during his battle with Di Tian on the ancient starry road, recognizing it as an unparalleled and terrifyingly ancient scripture. Now, he had found its source. Unless he was mistaken, it must have been created by the very individual before him!

A low hum resonated. All the monumental steles trembled, and human faces, still stony, began to emerge upon their surfaces, making the scene even more bizarre. Ye Fan felt as though his body had been cursed, making movement difficult.

"Etch my name for eternities..." This phrase, like the most terrifying of incantations, reverberated through the starry sky, unleashing powerful winds, rumbling thunder, and flashing lightning. Throughout the heavens and earth, countless heroic spirits and gods materialized, like a vast ocean crashing against the shore, their divine might immense, shaking and splitting the Nine Heavens! Deities, inexplicably manifesting from within the steles, surged forward in a unified assault.
