Chapter 1704: Related to the Emperor

A massive Blood Crow hovered above the moon. Its colossal form, stretching thousands of miles, nearly obscured the asteroid, casting a vast shadow.

In another galaxy, a Dragon-Horse galloped wildly, its hooves shaking the starry sky violently. It was cultivating a formidable profound art, gathering the essence of the nine heavens and absorbing the divine radiance of the galaxy.

Further away, a large black dog, rambling incoherently, its forehead glowing like a small sun, strutted across the sky like a human. One moment it would shout for Emperor Wu Shi, the next it would burst into tears, acting mad and inexplicable.

Within the Sun Star, a Lightning Phoenix was in seclusion, radiating dazzling divine rings that shimmered with ten colors.

On the floating divine islands, various auspicious phenomena unfolded. In the center of the innermost island, a Bodhi tree swayed with myriad colors, beneath which a group of young people sat in meditation, comprehending the Great Dao.

On the opposite cliff, a small purple Qilin lay dormant, seemingly ready to ascend in a shower of light – it was a Qilin divine medicine. Beside this immortal plant, a young man, resembling a divine king, sat quietly, performing breathing exercises as Dao talismans shimmered around him. A mischievous, adorable little girl, barely two years old, toddled and climbed clumsily nearby.

Upon seeing this corner of the Heavenly Court, the elder from the Divine Organization couldn't help but exclaim how astonishing it was. So many talented individuals gathered, with two divine medicines rooted there, indicated an astounding foundation. The future of the Heavenly Court was undeniably bright and glorious.

He knew the Heavenly Court was far more extensive than what he saw, having only glimpsed a small part of it. He had at least heard of others like Ye Tong, Yang Xi, the Human Demon, and the Saint Prince.

Ye Fan was accompanied not only by this elder but also by the White-haired Sword God. Their journey deeply impressed both of these peerless masters.

Many curious gazes from the Heavenly Court fell upon them, especially from the unreliable big black dog, which suddenly lifted its head, its large head glowing, and shouted, "Hmph, old man, you died a terrible death, falling beneath the Undying Heavenly Blade."

Anyone seeing such an eccentric dog would frown. Wasn't it deliberately cursing people?

"Don't mind it, this dog has gone mad recently," Ye Fan said. After all, they were guests; how could they be cursed upon their arrival?

"Nonsense, this Emperor is perfectly fine!" The big black dog glared, then said somewhat forlornly, "Kid, I also saw your future: white-haired and an aging hero, sitting alone in a shattered universe, with all stars cracked and all ten directions silent, nothing else remaining!"

After speaking, it tilted its head back and collapsed, becoming silent and cold all over, its head no longer glowing, returning to normal.

Ye Fan frowned. He first apologized to the elder from the Divine Organization, then walked over, pointed a finger, and roused the Black Emperor, who had gone berserk from cultivation.

"It's alright, I have no taboos," the elder said, unconcerned. "Half of my body is already buried in the loess; I could meet the Emperor at any moment. Do I still fear death? Besides, I also have a premonition that I will eventually fight the Undying Heavenly Sovereign's lineage; it's just a matter of time."

The Black Emperor's eyes were blank; it had no idea what had happened, unable to answer any questions. Its head ached intensely, and it denied having made any prophecies.

When it tried to cultivate the 'Pre-Word Secret' again, its head throbbed, making it impossible to continue, so it had to give up.

"The future is unpredictable; forcefully defying the heavens naturally invites punishment," the elder said meaningfully as he continued walking further in, accompanied by Ye Fan.

"That child..." The old deity instantly spotted Xiao Song, who had returned. The young boy smiled shyly, looking tender and youthful, with a remarkably beautiful face.

The two from the Divine Organization stared at him for a long time, remaining silent.

"He's my disciple. Is something wrong?" Ye Fan asked.

"Extraordinary!" the White-haired Sword God replied calmly.

"Is he someone with Kunlun Immortal Blood flowing through him?" The old deity squinted his eyes, saying no more. Despite Ye Fan's inquiries, he remained silent.

Xiao Song, ethereal and almost immortal, with bright, sparkling eyes, was a little confused at that moment and departed without understanding.

"How about letting this little girl be my disciple?" The old deity smiled, pointing to Xiao Zi on the cliff.

"Yes, but she must be taught within the Heavenly Court; she cannot be taken away," Ye Fan said. He harbored a special affection for this daughter, having glimpsed her future over ten thousand years, and his heart still stirred with emotion. He absolutely could not allow any harm to befall the little one, wishing never to be separated from her.

The old deity smiled; this was clearly an attempt to bind him to serve the Heavenly Court. He could only shake his head, saying nothing more.

"Master, are you looking for the little rascal? I've brought him!" Hua Hua said, holding up a massive Immortal Source upside down, from within which the Divine Baby was flailing and constantly cursing.

The White-haired Sword God showed no reaction, but the old deity's expression stiffened slightly. He squatted down, gazing intently at the Divine Baby, his eyes erupting with divine light.

Clearly, his emotions were far from calm. He almost lost his composure as he took the Immortal Source into his hands, his breathing gradually quickening as he stared at the Divine Baby.

Everyone could see his excitement and increasingly intense emotional fluctuations; his lips even trembled. Eventually, he held the Immortal Source high with profound reverence.

However, the Divine Baby showed no appreciation, disrupting the atmosphere. It squinted its eyes and said, "Old man, who are you? How dare you disturb this young master's peace?"

This was originally a fair-skinned, plump little boy, appearing to be only two or three years old—an age of simplicity and innocence. Yet, his speech was street-smart, making the elder's fingers twitch.

"Hey, hey, hey, old man, be careful! If you drop me and break me, you won't be able to afford the compensation. My life is more precious than all the lives in the Heavenly Court combined!"

"Smack!"

Hearing this, Hua Hua immediately slapped him, saying, "You'll cause trouble if you're not disciplined for three days! Haven't I taught you enough recently? Are you getting restless again?"

"Baldy, don't push your luck! I'm not easily scared. If you've got the guts, wait twenty years, and I'll beat you until you have bumps all over your head!" The chubby boy's thuggish demeanor left the old deity dumbfounded as he stood there, holding him, staring wide-eyed.

"Old man, you old pervert! If you dare to look at my little bird again, I'll pee on your face!" the Divine Baby declared. He was being held in mid-air, directly facing the elder, and was very displeased, uttering a threatening sound.

The old deity's face twitched. This was not what he had imagined. This seemingly plump little one was not innocent at all; how could he be like a little hoodlum?

Hua Hua, however, paid no mind and immediately gave him a good thrashing, making the chubby boy yelp and grumble furiously.

"Stop hitting him!" The old deity hastily intervened, asking Ye Fan to find a quiet place for a serious discussion.

Finally, they chose a secret room, where layers of talismans were laid out to prevent any leaks. The elder's expression became extremely serious. "Can you entrust this child to us?" he asked earnestly.

"No!" Before Ye Fan could even respond, the Divine Baby protested vehemently, shouting, "Who are you, you perverted old man? This young master isn't going with you!"

"Hua Hua, take him out and let him talk with Xiao Nian Nian," Ye Fan instructed.

"No, I won't go!" The Divine Baby screamed in terror, thrashing within the Immortal Source, absolutely refusing to leave.

"How did his personality become like this?" The old deity frowned as he looked at the Divine Baby. Could this child truly be linked to the one who overlooked the Nine Heavens and Ten Lands, standing proudly throughout eternity?

"Are you sure he's the one you're looking for?" Ye Fan asked.

"We are certain," the White-haired Sword God replied. "Years ago, the Emperor left behind a divine statue, and we used it to deduce and reconstruct his appearance throughout his life, from birth to old age. His form is clearly recognizable."

"This rascal is the Emperor... a similar flower?" Hua Hua's eyes widened in astonishment, unable to believe what he was hearing.

The chubby boy blinked dazedly, then said, "What Emperor? What's that got to do with me?"

The old deity and the White-haired Sword God immediately felt a headache coming on. They were at a loss for words, unsure how to respond.

"Him, the Emperor? That's hilarious! Is the Emperor a fatty?" Hua Hua laughed heartily and uncaringly, completely disbelieving. Such irreverent remarks made the eyebrows of the two from the Divine Organization twitch.

The chubby boy finally understood his worth. No longer confused, he put on airs and loudly declared, "I am the Emperor! You two, throw this bald head out for me, and while you're at it, smack his backside into eighteen pieces!"

The elder and the White-haired Sword God exchanged glances, genuinely suspecting they had found the wrong person. The Emperor was so majestic and rarely smiled; how could such a person come from that lineage?

"Heh heh!" Hua Hua grinned strangely, moving like lightning as he brutally thrashed the Divine Baby. "So this is what the Emperor looks like! You dead fatty, let me beat you to my heart's content first! It'll be a great bragging right later: the Emperor, that fatty, got thrashed by me!"

"Waaah! Young master will fight you! Don't force me to break out of the Immortal Source! Once I emerge and cultivate, I'll suppress all of you!" the chubby boy threatened.

This pair of characters was truly exasperating.

When Ye Fan had Hua Hua take the chubby boy out, the elder revealed the truth: the Divine Baby was not merely a 'similar flower' to the Emperor, but very likely the Emperor's offspring, his only descendant.

"In those years, it was rumored that the Heavenly Court had a young master, but no one ever saw him, even after the Emperor's demise."

To confirm this rumor, the Divine Organization searched for eons, visiting countless ruins and piecing together innumerable historical fragments. In this current era, they finally ascertained that this bloodline had come into Ye Fan's possession.

Ye Fan stroked his chin. He had probed the chubby boy's sea of consciousness, finding it largely blank. The only fragments present were related to Earth, including the wails of myriad beings and grand sacrificial hymns, as if a primal emperor was being laid to rest.

If this were true, it would be utterly world-shaking—the Emperor's offspring, with heaven-defying bloodline power!

"If he carries the Emperor's bloodline, why is his sea of consciousness devoid of the Emperor's immortal scriptures or his instructions?" Ye Fan asked.

"Perhaps the Emperor firmly believed his child would one day surpass him, making immortal scriptures unnecessary," the elder replied. Recalling ancient texts, he became even more convinced that the Emperor possessed such a character.

Ye Fan pondered, feeling something was amiss. He maintained a reserved attitude regarding the chubby boy's true origin.

"Master, this is bad!" Just then, Hua Hua rushed in, his face etched with anxiety. "Senior Brother Ye Tong has been severely injured!"

Ye Fan instantly stood up and strode out. From a distance, he saw Ye Tong sitting cross-legged beneath the Bodhi tree, covered in blood, his brow dull. His vital energy was surging as he activated a secret art to heal his injuries.

A surge of black energy gathered stubbornly within him, difficult to expel. It was corroding his primordial spirit and flesh, proving impossible to eradicate quickly.

Ye Fan stepped forward and pointed a finger. A streak of immortal light entered Ye Tong's body, suppressing the black energy with supreme magical power. Moments later, it was extracted.

"The Nether Demonic God, the third divine general under the Undying Heavenly Sovereign in ancient times. I can't believe he's still alive!" The elder's expression turned grave.

The Phoenix Nest was making its move, intending to secretly eliminate several key potential figures of the Heavenly Court. Even the Nether Demonic God had emerged, personally attacking Ye Tong.

"The time has come," Ye Fan said coldly. "It's time to settle things with the Phoenix Nest!"
