The battle suit worn by the Lord of Samsara glowed. This immortal material, Feathered Green Gold, was extremely rare and now dazzlingly brilliant. Large divine feathers flew out, like the beautiful long plumes of a phoenix, blazing with intense light. His armor clanged, and the battle suit forged from Feathered Green Gold pulsed with a supreme life force. It was now fully revived, its light illuminating the Nine Heavens and Ten Lands! Only in the hands of a true Great Emperor could such a weapon unleash its most formidable power, allowing supreme combat strength to be amplified to a terrifying degree.

As an ancient supreme being, how could the Lord of Samsara let it go after being struck by a palm? Naturally, he had to retaliate with overwhelming force. They were the highest and most revered masters, the true rulers under the eternal heavens, never to be provoked or angered throughout history. When supreme beings clashed, it inevitably led to grave consequences. As entities of such a caliber, who was truly invincible? If they disagreed, a life-or-death battle was inevitable!

The heavens and earth shattered as the Lord of Samsara unleashed his peerless divine might. Ten thousand divine chains appeared before him, each one connecting with the sky, transforming into brilliant shackles. They sought to bind and suppress the Desolate Lord.

“Crack!”

That glowing white jade-like palm directly struck down, colliding with the myriad brilliant chains, which resembled phoenix plumes. The impact was blinding, shaking the ten directions of the universe to an astonishing degree. This was a clash between supreme beings, rarely seen throughout eternity. Had it not been for the arrival of this grand era, the world would never have witnessed it, as no one could have possibly seen it.

A violent explosion erupted; the universe seemed to be destroyed, returning to its origin. The former Big Dipper Starfield ceased to exist, utterly obliterated and reduced to dust. Countless stars exploded, turning into beautiful light rain that scattered in all directions. This was a grand destruction under the guise of magnificent fireworks! If supreme beings fought without restraint, the heavens would collapse, the earth would crumble, and the entire cosmos would be utterly destroyed, leaving nothing behind. Had the Desolate Lord not shielded the fragmented ancient land of life with her other hand below, this place would have certainly lost all vitality, leaving nothing behind.

This was the law and Dao of supreme beings. This time, the Lord of Samsara was well-prepared, unlike his rushed first attempt. However, thousands of his brilliant chains of order still shattered! That glowing white palm shattered everything in its path, sweeping aside all resistance. It was irresistible, and even a supreme being like the Lord of Samsara was nearly injured. The Lord of Samsara's expression changed. His body glowed even more intensely again, his armor engulfed in chaotic energy. He roared and re-engaged in battle.

Though the white-clad woman appeared peerlessly graceful and ethereal, she truly possessed power that could astound heaven and earth and make ghosts weep. With a graceful step, like traversing millennia, she disrupted time and instantly appeared close by. Her attack was simple and direct: still a single palm strike, aimed at ending the Lord of Samsara's life. This overwhelming dominance made the other supreme beings change their expressions.

“Buzz!”

The Lord of Samsara's eyes emitted an eerie glow, and his forehead bone shone brilliantly, projecting ten thousand streaks of immortal light. These formed terrifying runes, transforming into an immortal blade that slashed towards the Desolate Lord's glabella.

“Whoosh!”

The Desolate Lord's Divine Platform was dim. Her primordial spirit was peculiar, sometimes strong, sometimes weak, even at times nearly non-existent. However, her physical body contained peerless Dao principles. It could even encompass the great cosmos and contained strange divine consciousness power. With a single shout, a Dao diagram appeared, directly sealing the sky and blocking the immortal blade. At the same time, her glowing white palm pressed down again, engaging in close-quarters combat, striking towards the Lord of Samsara's face.

Boom!

This was a duel of laws and Daos, a contest of personal insights and experiences. A clash between supreme beings involved so much; every aspect determined success or failure. However, the Desolate Lord's physical body was exceptionally powerful. This time, it wasn't a casual strike as before; instead, it unleashed a roar of the Heavenly Dao, making all the great Daos of the myriad worlds submit. This was a true path of absolute supremacy: invincible with her presence. Even when facing a supreme being, she remained calm and composed, treating them as mere trifles!

This clash was incredibly fierce. The Lord of Samsara had been invincible his entire life, never encountering a match across heaven and earth. Even during his past contention on the Emperor's Road, he had swept through all opposition. But now, he suffered a tremendous shock; his right palm felt as if it had been pulverized, causing immense pain. This was unprecedented in his long existence. How could a supreme being feel pain? They were already peerlessly invincible; it was unimaginable that they would taste such bitter fruit.

Moreover, this time he was sent flying, coughing up large mouthfuls of blood, his hair disheveled. After falling, he stumbled backward, having suffered a severe blow. His right palm was drenched in blood; the battle suit's hand guard, forged from immortal gold, had shattered, breaking his hand bones, leaving flesh and blood mangled, with splinters of white bone exposed. It was too shocking; he was actually wounded in this battle!

“Are you mocking my age and frailty? I have never been defeated in my life! Today, though I paid a price for entering the Immortal Path, do you think I am incapable of fighting? I come from the Sea of Samsara; my entire life has been destined for invincibility. Even at my weakest, I can instantly sublimate and unleash my peak combat power once more!”

The Lord of Samsara's voice was cold and emotionless, his face devoid of any expression. He advanced step by step, his aura growing increasingly terrifying.

“It's not as if she hasn't killed someone like you before!” From the depths of the universe, the Great Accomplished Sacred Body, covered in golden fur, stated coldly.

As this voice rang out, the ten directions of the universe shook violently, and the heavens and earth roared. The white-clad woman, like an ascending immortal, moved forward with an ethereal and peerless grace. The other supreme beings were all startled, revealing expressions of disbelief. They exclaimed, “It’s her! She actually survived!”

Every supreme being possessed their own Dao, remaining unchanged through countless ages, even after severing themselves. However, this person had even changed her own Dao, which was why they hadn't recognized her earlier. Even her Dao was undergoing transformation, making her unrecognizable. This was truly world-shattering, terrifying, and profoundly shocking, even for supreme beings, who all changed their expressions!

“You… didn't take that step, yet you also survived?!” For the first time, the Lord of Samsara's heart sank. Unlike his previous arrogance, this time he showed the utmost solemnity. Just like that night before he achieved his Dao, when he slew numerous great enemies, swept across the universe, and fought bloody battles across the eight wildernesses, he raised his essence, qi, and spirit to their absolute peak.

The Lord of Samsara was tall and imposing, his true form submerged in chaotic energy, like a demon god who had survived from the era of creation. Even within the mist, he was enveloped in brilliant light, appearing exceptionally terrifying and awe-inspiring in the cold and dark universe. More ancient supreme beings wielded weapons, while fewer forged battle suits from immortal gold. However, anyone who did so was destined to be incredibly difficult to defeat, as they prioritized defense.

At this moment, his forehead bone glowed, illuminating the dark universe. It was as if a deity was chanting scriptures, sitting on the Divine Platform, projected forth, its light shining through eternity, truly shaking the world! Before and behind him, a vast ocean appeared, an ocean formed from souls. One of the most terrifying places in the world—the Sea of Samsara—had reappeared.

“I control the samsara of the world. I am the master of this realm. In ancient times, no one in the Nine Heavens and Ten Lands could oppose me, and I will not be defeated in this life. War souls, awaken! I shall annihilate this world!”

The Lord of Samsara walked forward, his eyes terrifyingly profound, filled with visions of suns and moons being destroyed, stars falling, and heaven and earth crumbling. His body was engulfed in chaos, an extremely terrifying sight. The Sea of Samsara revolved, seemingly intending to put the entire mortal realm through a cycle of reincarnation. At this moment, numerous stars were drawn towards it and plunged inside. Subsequently, more brilliant stars fell, and entire galaxies cascaded down, all submerging into the Sea of Samsara. This truly resembled a supreme ruler, peerlessly invincible.

“You control the samsara of the world, but what about the heavens?” The white-clad woman spoke for the first time, her voice cold, yet possessing a magnetic quality. Were it not for its ruthlessness, it would have been like celestial music, exceedingly beautiful.

“Then let us fight. A supreme duel, to determine victory and defeat, to see who truly rules the mortal realm!” The Lord of Samsara roared, his thick hair flying wildly, and his Feathered Green Gold battle suit glowed. The deity within was also enraged, its shattered parts from earlier now seeking revenge.

“Boom!”

The two crashed into each other, ready to unleash their most ultimate battle!

Nearby, the other four, witnessing the scene, all remained expressionless, neither intervening nor showing any reaction. They were all supreme beings, who had once dominated the Primordial Cosmos. They disdained forming alliances against foes, for they were invincible, believing themselves to be supreme, and would never consider anyone else the strongest in the world. This wasn't arrogance; it was a fact. They truly were so in their time!

“The Lord of Samsara has begun his battle. We, too, must set forth. Let us part ways and embark on our individual journeys.”“The Lord of Samsara’s situation is precarious; he will likely lose his reputation as invincible in this lifetime.”“The Desolate Lord has flaws; her divine consciousness is erratic. The Lord of Samsara should have nothing to fear.”

These individuals were all peerlessly mighty existences, not unfamiliar with this universe. They had once ruled, protected, and conquered it. Recalling those glorious past years, each of their expressions flickered with a momentary daze. Alas, those days were gone forever; they had changed!

Undoubtedly, the supreme beings within the seven forbidden zones of life were either supreme beings from the mythical era, ancient emperors, or Human Emperors and Sacred Spirit Divine Embryos, among others. Each had an astonishing origin. By now, it was no secret; the world was fully aware. Beings of this level could not seal themselves in sources. There was no substance in heaven or earth that could preserve their Divine Platforms as immortal, for they were too powerful to be contained.

The reason they survived was that they all possessed their own methods of longevity. Of course, there was also a prerequisite: they had all severed themselves with a single cut! They had withdrawn from their imperial Dao positions, falling from that realm; otherwise, how could they have remained sealed until now? Some, after falling from that realm, could lie dormant for eons, never emerging, possessing primordial life stones, immortal springs, and other resources that allowed them to remain sealed for very long periods. Such beings included certain Human Emperors, some ancient emperors, and others, who only awoke when the Immortal Path opened, emerging directly to contend for the Immortal Path in this era. Naturally, the physical state of such individuals would be at its weakest point. Therefore, they perished even before the Immortal Path concluded, with bloody examples serving as proof.

Others, even after sealing themselves with rare substances like immortal springs or primordial life stones, due to the immense passage of time or unforeseen issues along the way, could not sustain it. They awoke prematurely in ancient times, on the verge of aging. Thus, the Dark Turmoil emerged!

A grain of sand, a world; a blade of grass, a paradise. Similarly, so it is with living beings. No matter how weak they are, they contain a great miracle: the most precious substance in this world, which is life. Powerful beings possess more of this substance, while weaker ones have relatively less. It is like countless precious gems, hidden within the bodies of all living creatures.

Supreme beings who awakened prematurely initiated the Dark Turmoil to survive and perpetuate their immortality. This was not limited to the Big Dipper; the entire universe was their hunting ground. When ancient sages from beyond the domain descended upon the Big Dipper, some had discussed and even suspected that the turmoil originated from the Big Dipper Starfield, though it remained unconfirmed.

Ancient supreme beings would not let an entire region wither. Instead, they proceeded selectively, preserving some life seeds for those ancient starfields, even while continuously drawing life force. This maintained their Divine Platforms' immortality, prevented cracks from expanding, and repaired their wheels of life. Of course, this substance was like an immortal medicine; its potency would sharply decrease after a single use. The same quantity would inevitably become ineffective. Should it be needed again, ten or even a hundred times the amount would be required! Therefore, each Dark Turmoil became more terrifying than the last. By now, each supreme being required billions of lives to consume. The most extreme had collectively slaughtered tens of billions of beings, such as Stone Emperor! However, this did not allow them to live a second life. It merely temporarily fended off the erosion of time and resisted aging. Life was the greatest miracle in the world, yet it also became the greatest source of disaster!

The supreme beings within the forbidden zones of life initiated the Dark Turmoil. When a Great Emperor emerged, they naturally tried their best to retreat. After all, they had fallen from that realm and did not wish to fight to the death. However, if it coincided with the Desolate Ancient era and they needed life force, then battle was the only option; there was no avoiding it. Because in those wild ancient years, Great Emperors emerged not just one or two at a time. After one passed away, the position wasn't left vacant; others would achieve the Dao, with their respective eras almost seamlessly connected! Of course, it was impossible for true Great Emperors to meet, as there was a time limit affecting Dao attainment. But even in eras without a Great Emperor, there would still be Great Accomplished Sacred Bodies!

Ancient supreme beings of that period had no choice but to act; they could not evade. This consequently led to the most terrifying Dark Turmoil, with bloody battles ensuing. Although ancient supreme beings had withdrawn from their imperial Dao positions, if a Human Emperor attempted to suppress and kill them, they could elevate themselves to their peak, briefly regaining their former glory. The outcome of such a desperate fight was unpredictable! However, doing so came at an immense cost. Even if they didn't die in battle, or even managed to kill a Human Emperor, they might still wither away themselves after the fight. After such a battle, though not killed in combat, they would have used up their severed imperial Dao fruit. Only a few supreme beings were fortunate enough to survive. Therefore, if not for the frequent emergence of Desolate Ancient Great Emperors and successive appearances of Great Accomplished Sacred Bodies, those most terrifying eras of bloodshed would not have occurred, as no one could suppress them.

No one wished to engage in an Emperor's battle, as both ancient supreme beings and Human Emperors faced the risk of perishing. In those eras without the emergence of Great Emperors, it was truly tragic. The heavens and earth were stained red with blood; this was not confined to the Big Dipper but also occurred elsewhere, a human tragedy!

The four supreme beings had also once ruled the mortal realm, acting as masters of the world, revered by hundreds of thousands of clans across the universe. But now, looking back, what was left? Perhaps, they too had once sighed inwardly, but their hearts had long since been submerged in coldness and replaced by ruthlessness! They were no longer their former selves!

The four ancient supreme beings took one last look, then each chose a direction and prepared to set off. They were heading to different ancient domains to "feed," about to unleash the greatest Dark Turmoil in history! The entire universe trembled. All living beings were gripped by fear, sensing an impending catastrophe and an aura of approaching annihilation, causing them all to shudder. Moreover, some ancient domains already knew what had transpired in the Big Dipper Starfield. Certain diviners, sensing the arrival of bloodshed and the most terrifying chaotic era, wept uncontrollably.

“Oh, Great Emperors of the human race, please revive! The mortal realm is about to endure immense suffering again. Who can save all beings from dire peril, and who can spare them from bloody calamities?!”“The Big Dipper is already a land of suffering and desolation. Supreme Great Emperors, we implore you to revive and return!”“Woe… Where is the Void Great Emperor? We are willing to pray for you, to trade our own lives for your return, and for you to reappear in the mortal realm.”

The wails of all beings shook heaven and earth, seemingly reaching this very domain, a spiritual resonance of sublimation. Suddenly, the Desolate Lord made her move, unleashing the most terrifying attacks simultaneously against the four supreme beings who were about to depart! In her peerless white robes, with her hair fluttering, she was elegantly ethereal, yet overwhelmingly powerful. It was the power of an ascending immortal, its light illuminating the thirty-three layers of heaven, making the entire universe tremble. One person was about to contend against five supreme beings!

That's all for today's chapter. We're in the late stages now, so allow me to catch my breath and consider how to connect the upcoming parts. I want to give everyone the best possible ending.
