Chapter 1417: Four Extreme Meridian

Under the Bodhi tree, the elements of earth, fire, wind, and water revolved, aligning with Ye Fan's Four Extremities. Chaotic mist permeated the air as he created a new world, expanding an ancient realm.

This was a terrifying process, a supremely grand vision of the Dao that inspired awe. In a trance, one could hear the sounds of all beings sacrificing and worshipping, or perhaps the weeping of gods.

Waves of Dao power shook the world, surging like a vast ocean and spreading in all directions. As far as the eye could see, the Nine Heavens and Ten Earths were laid bare, and above and below, only one individual stood supreme.

Under the Bodhi tree, a golden form repeatedly dissolved and reformed, radiating immortal light. Various auspicious signs rose behind it, and ancient scriptures, supremely sacred and divine, resonated from within its body.

Ye Fan was evolving his own Dao, possessing a magnificent aura that seemed to swallow mountains and rivers and survey the vast cosmos, compelling onlookers to bow down in reverence.

"Taiji refers to the state before heaven and earth were separated, when primordial energy was merged into one, also known as Tai Chu or Tai Yi..."

The scriptures were vast, like a silver waterfall descending from the Nine Heavens. Ancient characters radiated divine light within Ye Fan's body, imprinting themselves upon him. His Wheel Sea scriptures were perfected, transcending their previous state.

Taiji served as the origin, expanding into the four limbs of the human body, giving rise to the Four Extremities. Thus, Taiji gave birth to the Two Principles, and the Two Principles gave birth to the Four Phenomena, seizing the creation of heaven and earth.

"The Dao endures through infinite ages. The universe progresses from Wuji to Taiji, giving rise to all things..."

Ye Fan's countenance was solemn and majestic, like a lone god or demon. His golden form was immortal as he meditated on the Dao and its principles under the Bodhi tree. His black hair was thick, and his eyes gleamed like lightning as he expanded his own Dao.

Golden runes flickered on his body, ancient symbols appearing and pulsating one after another, expanding from the Wheel Sea to the Four Extremities. This was the process of creating all things.

"The Way of Heaven and Earth uses the two energies of Yin and Yang to create all things..."

Before heaven and earth were separated, primordial energy was unified, a state known as Tai Chu, or chaos.

Ye Fan was undergoing transformation, his immortal golden body shining brilliantly. Golden vital energy created heaven and earth as chaos surged around him. With his hands and feet, he propped open a new world.

This was in accordance with the Dao and its principles.

Golden runes appeared one after another, etched onto his body, shining brightly and emitting immortal radiance. It was as if a celestial deity had descended, demanding the worship of all beings.

During this process, winds raged and thunder roared, with lightning tearing through the sky. Each bolt of lightning was like a cascading galaxy, terrifying to the extreme.

This made the Twelve Saints gasp. Ye Fan was demonstrating the Dao, a terrifying sight that made him seem less like a Saint King and more like an ancient supreme being expounding scriptures.

Within him, various scriptures appeared, resounding ceaselessly. The entire cosmos resonated and trembled in harmony with them.

He was refining a hundred scriptures, conceiving the Dao and its meaning. All kinds of scripture symbols resonated in unison, forging an unparalleled personal cultivation method. The sight was astonishing.

Ye Fan directly advanced from the Wheel Sea to impact the Four Extremities, bypassing the Dao Palace. This was not contrary to his own Dao and was a very natural process.

Ancient sages could become Great Saints by specializing in a single secret realm. The preferred secret realm wasn't necessarily the Wheel Sea; some recited Dao Palace scriptures, some meditated on the Immortal Platform, and others undertook arduous journeys across the world to cultivate the Four Extremities of the human body.

Since each person's Dao was different, their choices also varied.

It was only in later generations that the path of progressing from the Wheel Sea to the Dao Palace, then to the Four Extremities, entering the Human Body Dragon, undergoing nine transformations to ascend to the Immortal Platform, emerged.

There was no telling which was stronger or weaker between ancient methods and contemporary paths; the difference lay only in choice. What truly conferred strength was one's original intention and self.

Ye Fan's entire body glowed. Using the Wheel Sea as his origin, he cultivated the Four Extremities and derived an invincible Dao, especially emphasizing this secret realm.

Under the Bodhi tree, three thousand figures appeared before and behind Ye Fan. All were reflections of himself, some like gods from the Nine Heavens, others like demon lords from primeval antiquity, or banished immortals from the immortal realm...

The sound of chanting was immensely grand!

The three thousand phantoms, some seated cross-legged, some standing in the Nine Heavens, each one chanted scriptures, appearing as masters of heaven and earth, or ancient supreme beings who had created the world.

This sight made one tremble: three thousand versions of himself, each with a different Dharmakaya, exerting pressure over the Nine Heavens and deterring the Ten Earths. All realms in the myriad heavens were struck with great fear because of them.

Under the Bodhi tree, three thousand gods and demons chanted scriptures. Their voices transcended all others, finally merging into a torrent of the Great Dao that swept through past and present, a truly rare phenomenon!

The grand bells, Buddhist chants, ancient deity recitations, banished immortal prayers, and the sacrifices of all beings were all suppressed.

Ye Fan's gaze was profound, like a deep abyss or a vast ocean.

"The Dao endures through infinite ages. The universe progresses from Wuji to Taiji, giving rise to all things..."

Taiji gave birth to the Two Principles, and the Two Principles gave birth to the Four Phenomena. The energies of Yin and Yang nourished the Four Extremities, manifesting golden ancient runes that were etched into Ye Fan's bones and golden flesh, profoundly mysterious.

The Four Phenomena grew, propping up the sky and splitting the earth. The Four Extremities of the human body were like four heaven-supporting pillars, separating heaven and earth, giving birth to myriad spirits and creating all things within.

At this moment, not only within the Spring of Life, but even in the vast black sea of suffering outside, many cultivators heard the magnificent chanting.

However, people could only hear a profound Dao sound, finding it difficult to grasp its meaning. In a daze, everyone was stunned; the heavens and earth seemed to tremble, pulsating in sync with the sound.

"This... someone is comprehending the Dao and creating scriptures, comparable to an ancient revered sage. Who could this be?"

"No, that's not right. The scriptures are coming from the Spiritual Treasure Heavenly Venerate's Spring of Life, guarded by four killing swords. No one can enter. Could it be the Spiritual Treasure Heavenly Venerate himself expounding scriptures, transmitting his teachings to future generations across time?"

Many were filled with doubt and astonishment, listening intently.

Within the Spring of Life, the four dark red killing swords were very tranquil, significantly pacified by these scriptures. Their murderous aura was restrained, making the place even more sacred.

The concept of Yin and Yang manifests in many forms: heaven and earth, sun and moon, thunder and lightning, wind and rain, the four seasons, morning and afternoon, as well as male and female, rigid and soft, movement and stillness, manifestation and concealment. All things are divided into Yin and Yang.

During this process, various auspicious signs emerged within the Wheel Sea, as different "Yin and Yang" aspects extended towards the Four Extremities, thereby creating numerous "Four Phenomena."

This was a "Dao transformation," a process of sublimation, self-refinement, and perfection, making the Four Extremities of the human body supremely strong and vast!

With the rotation of the Four Phenomena—Greater Yang, Greater Yin, Lesser Yin, and Lesser Yang—Ye Fan held the azure sky in his hand and trod upon the underworld, like an ancient god creating the world.

Spring, summer, autumn, and winter alternated: the power of spring nourished silently, the power of summer burned like a blazing fire, the power of autumn was filled with desolate sternness, and the power of winter brought destruction to all things.

When the four immortal spirits—Azure Dragon, Black Tortoise, White Tiger, and Vermilion Bird—appeared, they represented another set of Four Phenomena. Ye Fan formed hand seals: dragons and tigers battled for supremacy, the Black Tortoise expanded the sea, and the Vermilion Bird traversed three thousand realms. This was an unparalleled offensive power!

Furthermore, there were the Four Phenomena of earth, fire, wind, and water, which were the essence of creation. The various terrifying sights were too numerous to describe individually.

At the final moment, everything flowed through his limbs. Ye Fan's golden meridians, bones, flesh, front and back, five viscera, six bowels, and even the seven losses and eight benefits within him — no part of his body was not glowing. The Four Extremities gradually formed, expounding all phenomena!

The Great Dao roared, and his bones, meridians, and blood transformed and sublimated. Ultimately, he seemed to disintegrate: a single drop of blood became a great star, a piece of bone a star system, and his meridians became star rivers.

He used the Four Extremities of his body to create heaven and earth. Chaos surged outside, while within him was a cosmos with all the stars in the heavens and myriad things from all realms, a truly astonishing sight.

Humans align with heaven and earth, correspond with the sun and moon. The ebb and flow of one's body are connected to heaven and earth, and respond to all beings.

Ye Fan, having comprehended the Four Extremities Secret Realm, split the sky and rent the earth. He opened an ancient realm, seemingly giving birth to another universe that corresponded to the greater cosmos, enveloped in chaos, his entire body glowing.

A cauldron floated and sank in the chaos, sensing his Dao. It was the Myriad Things Mother Qi Cauldron, undergoing sublimation, refinement, and transformation alongside him.

In the distance, the Twelve Saints were all shaken. Ye Fan's scriptures were terrifyingly powerful. Was this truly an invincible and domineering Dao, with a universe evolving and being born?

"The Four Extremities propping up heaven and earth, possessing the power of creation—is this his Dao? It's truly too strong!" Pang Bo muttered to himself.

Under the Bodhi tree, a golden form shone brightly. Ye Fan, devoid of joy or sorrow, created his own Dao. His crystalline bones and golden flesh evolved into star rivers across the heavens, a terrifying and overwhelming sight.

In a daze, one could hear the roars of gods and demons, and the worship of all beings across the Nine Heavens and Ten Earths!

However, at this very moment, an astonishing change occurred. Ye Fan suddenly opened his eyes, and two powerful beams of light burst forth, tearing through the cosmos, immensely terrifying.

He stretched his limbs, shattering the star rivers of the heavens, crushing great stars one after another, causing all realms to collapse. His entire inner universe disintegrated.

This was a terrifying disaster, the true catastrophe of his inner universe. It was an apocalypse: brilliant stars exploded one after another, splendid galaxies were annihilated in swathes, and the grand universe shattered.

And Ye Fan's bones, blood, meridians, and other parts also shattered. Every drop of blood pierced through the void, cracking the universe, as if the Lord of Myriad Things was heading towards self-destruction.

"Ye Zi, what are you doing?!" Pang Bo exclaimed.

The Twelve Saints shivered, their expressions changing. They shouted with Dao power, hoping to awaken Ye Fan's primordial spirit. They believed he was self-destructing and had fallen into qi deviation.

Ye Fan ignored them, continuing to shake the Four Extremities. He broke apart inch by inch, which also meant his inner universe completely collapsed, and the myriad realms within him ceased to exist.

"Wake up!" Pang Bo, the Dragon Horse, and the other Twelve Saints shouted in unison, wanting him to regain consciousness.

"I'm fine," Ye Fan uttered only these three words. His luminous white bones, golden flesh, and other parts pulsed, roaring as they began to reassemble, becoming even stronger.

"What's happening?" They were perplexed and deeply worried.

There are many Great Daos in the world, and each person's path is different. This was Ye Fan's choice. While the grand universe exists eternally, he did not wish to imitate it.

In the human world, myriad spirits, upon reaching their peak, mostly choose a human form. This itself indicates a fundamental truth.

This heaven and earth, whose past is unknown and future is unseen, who can claim it is eternal? If heaven and earth were to end, and another grand universe replaced it, would this order still apply?

In this world, Ye Fan did not believe in a next life, nor did he dwell on the past. He only revered his own invincibility in this life. Therefore, he did not imitate the grand universe but refined only his single form; this was truly himself.

Therefore, he shattered great stars, collapsed his inner universe, and allowed his bones, meridians, and blood to regenerate. He reassembled only himself, shedding the dazzling brilliance, and returning to simplicity, finding sufficiency in his singular body.

All the stellar fragments, orderly immortal radiance, and divine chains of laws melted into his "unified body," forging into a single furnace to become his most powerful self.

This was his Four Extremities Scripture: beginning with the rotation of the Four Phenomena, sublimating into the creation of heaven and earth, and finally returning to simplicity, achieving only a "human body."

On the Bodhi tree, ten thousand leaves swayed, and scriptures resonated for a thousand years, chanted for reasons unknown. All heavens aligned with the Dao, a hundred scriptures appeared in unison, singing in harmony, illuminating Samsara. Beneath the Bodhi tree, only Ye Fan himself remained. Despite endless divine light and myriad Dao paths carving the sky, only his true form endured.
