Chapter 1114: Ten Directions Ancient Sages All Attack

“I have thought this through completely. I have no regrets and am willing to join the strongest trial in history!” Ye Fan stated decisively.

“Good. You have chosen your own path; I hope you will have no regrets in the future,” the old master of Qishi Mansion nodded.

Before leaving, Ye Fan and the old master of Qishi Mansion went to a sealed stone chamber, isolated from the outside world, to transmit some star coordinates. No one was allowed to approach.

After a long time, Ye Fan emerged and bid farewell to Ye Tong, the Holy Prince, Black Emperor, Li Heishui, Duan De, Yan Yixi, and others. He was about to embark on the Celestial Road and enter the star domain.

The separation was undeniably sad. After returning from the other side of the starry sky and finally reuniting, Ye Fan was once again about to embark on a journey. This was his life’s choice: to undertake the strongest trial in history.

His obsession with the other side of the starry sky was gone; his parents were no longer there. Aside from these old friends, cultivation, enlightenment, and becoming an immortal were now his greatest goals.

“We will meet again, we will reunite, and I will return alive!” Ye Fan waved, his gaze sweeping over each person.

“Ye Fan, take care!”

“You must take care, return alive so we can meet again, and bring back Xiao Yueliang and Pang Bo!”

They knew that Ye Fan undertaking the strongest trial was primarily to rescue these individuals, with self-improvement being secondary.

This path was exceedingly dangerous, reopening only once every ten thousand years. Each time, the most extraordinary individuals in the world departed, entering the boundless universe. Yet, throughout history, only three to five people had survived; the rest had shed their blood in foreign lands, dying in the starry sky.

Ye Fan was strong, but there was no guarantee of his survival. Several Sacred Bodies had already perished in battle before him. With this departure, they wondered if they would ever meet again in this lifetime.

“Goodbye!” Ye Fan turned and resolutely walked away.

“Master, you must come back alive!” Ye Tong cried out, tears welling in his eyes.

“Wuwu… Master, you’re really abandoning me? We’re from the same place, how can you leave me behind?” The mischievous Hua Hua wailed.

“Kid, you still owe me a Congenital Sacred Body Dao Embryo! If you die, I’ll make sure your soul knows no peace. You *must* come back alive!” Black Emperor roared.

“I’ll wait for you to attain the Dao and become an Emperor. If I still can’t enter the Immortal Realm this time, I’ll dig up your grave after I awaken from my stupor next time. Remember to put more treasures in it,” Duan De also said.

The Holy Prince, Li Tian, Li Heishui, Yan Yixi, Dongfang Ye, Yao Yuekong, and others waved vigorously, shouting words of caution as they watched him depart.

The deepest part of Qishi Mansion was a forbidden area, inaccessible to outsiders. It was inscribed with a Congenital Chaos Grand Formation, brimming with infinite killing intent, as it held the mansion’s most crucial secret.

Ye Fan and the old Saint of Qishi Mansion entered this secret ground together. Here, the traces of the grand formation were evident, interwoven densely across the area.

Streaks of chaotic energy flickered, protecting the area completely. The most terrifying killing formations were densely arranged here, turning it into an impenetrable land where few could intrude.

“Before the ancient era, one of our mansion masters obtained a partial fragment of the Nine Secrets, concerning Dao patterns. Unfortunately, it’s heavily incomplete; otherwise, this formation would be even more terrifying,” the old mansion master sighed.

He admitted that after so many years, the grand formation was severely damaged and no longer as formidable as it once was. Otherwise, any ancient Saint entering it would surely die; now, it was uncertain.

Ye Fan was astonished. A partial fragment of the Nine Secrets, specifically the one concerning Dao patterns, was actually in Qishi Mansion. If Black Emperor knew, he would be ecstatic with madness; the black dog had always dreamed of obtaining it and had been searching for clues for years.

“Hmm, I have already shut down the Chaos Killing Formation. This place is now safe, otherwise, anyone who enters would be subjected to indiscriminate attacks. Let’s go in,” the old Saint said.

Ye Fan understood, a strange glint flashing in his eyes as he entered the deepest part of the secret area. In front of him stood a five-colored altar, ancient and majestic, as if it had torn through time and space from ancient times.

“Go now. Embark on your own path. I hope you will become the strongest in history!” The old Saint stopped.

Ye Fan bowed to him in gratitude, then stepped onto the five-colored altar, one step at a time.

“This altar is very special. I am about to activate it. Are you ready to cross over?” the old mansion master asked.

“I’m ready!” Ye Fan nodded.

“Boom!” Suddenly, the void shattered, and a large, earthy-yellow hand descended from the sky, striking towards the altar and Ye Fan. Its speed was extreme, and its Saintly might was vast.

The old Saint was both shocked and enraged. He roared, “How dare you!” His previously hunched body straightened instantly, and his palm expanded, transforming into a massive silver stele that pressed into the sky, immediately blocking the huge hand.

“Boom!” Saintly might surged, transforming into a storm in the sky. Every wisp of wind could tear open a black hole, incredibly terrifying. This was a confrontation between supreme ancient Saints.

Another cold snort echoed, and another ancient Saint appeared. A massive, blue claw, covered in scales, stretched across half the sky, grabbing towards Ye Fan and the five-colored altar.

“Do you wish to start a war with the human race?” The old Saint of Qishi Mansion raged, his hair standing on end. He struck out with his other hand, transforming it into a second silver stele, adorned with flashing runes and divine patterns.

“Bang!” He exchanged a blow with the second attacker, blocking him in the sky.

However, a third aura appeared, extremely sudden and incredibly powerful. A gigantic black claw stretched out from the clouds, its length unknown, its demonic power obscuring the sun.

This terrifying sight could be seen from hundreds of miles away; it was too chilling. Such an enormous claw truly resembled the Hand of God, capable of annihilating everything in the human world.

The old Saint of Qishi Mansion roared, letting out a long howl that stirred the surrounding clouds. From his mouth and nose, a silver-white true dragon surged forth—his innate primordial essence—and plunged into the clouds, striking towards the black hand.

“How powerful! It seems your cultivation is unfathomable; you’ve blocked three ancient Saints. But let’s see how long you can last!” A Saint King spoke indifferently from the void, causing the Great Dao to rumble and the heavens and earth to tremble. His body was a hazy light as he stepped forward, striking towards Ye Fan and the five-colored altar.

“Argh…” The old Saint of Qishi Mansion roared, his hair bristling with fury. His glabella opened, revealing a vertical eye that shot out a divine light, piercing towards the Saint King.

“Rumble!” The most terrifying thing happened: a fifth ancient Saint appeared, yet another person. Though not a Saint King, he was powerful enough to stomp down with one foot, aiming to crush Ye Fan to death.

“You are going too far, trespassing upon my Qishi Mansion, committing heinous acts! Do you wish to provoke an all-out war between the ancient races and humanity?” The old Saint roared like an old lion, his face contorted with indignation.

Undoubtedly, these individuals were here for Ye Fan, intending to suppress and kill him, and even more, to seize the five-colored altar for the ancient races to use.

“Heh, the Human Sacred Body won’t live past today. Old man, stop protecting him; it’s not worth risking your life for a dead man. Moreover, your Qishi Mansion cannot protect this five-colored formation platform,” an ancient Saint said coldly, filled with ruthless killing intent.

“I’ll fight you to the death!” The old Saint of Qishi Mansion’s eyes turned red, his heart seemingly filled with endless suppressed anger, ready to risk everything against these individuals.

“Rumble!” The void tore open, and a sixth ancient Saint appeared. Enveloped by tens of thousands of divine halos, with radiant divine wings on his back, this was a Saint King!

“You alone cannot turn the tide. Struggling like this will only lead to a futile death!” the newly appeared Saint King stated calmly.

Standing on the altar, Ye Fan shouted at the six ancient Saints, “A group of despicable ancient Saints, utterly shameless! To mobilize such forces for a mere Dao Slasher like me—six Saints appearing just to attack one person—aren’t you ashamed?!”

“You are but an ant. If not for a Great Saint who divined a sliver of heavenly secret from the future and thought you might become someone important, would we bother with you?” an ancient Saint said coldly.

“So you *are* afraid after all. If you have a grievance, come at me alone!” Ye Fan roared.

“Killing you is like slaughtering a chicken, effortless,” an ancient Saint said coldly. A massive purple hand extended from the leaden clouds, striking towards Ye Fan’s body.

This hand was enormous, rumbling loudly, as if the ten directions of the cosmos were about to collapse. Each purple scale on it was several *zhang* long, making it terrifying and dreadful.

“Master!” Ye Tong and the others, watching clearly from a distance, cried out in horror. They knew it was over! With so many ancient Saints attacking, including Saint Kings, how could the old master of Qishi Mansion possibly block them all alone? It would be impossible to protect Ye Fan.

“Damn it, the ancient Saints have attacked, and so many at once! Ye Fan has no chance of survival. What can we do?!”

“How shameless! So many ancient Saints attacking together, devoid of any humanity, trying to eliminate our Human Sacred Body, disregarding all rules. It’s hateful!”

Ye Fan, Li Tian, and the others, as well as the renowned elders of Qishi Mansion, all roared with indignation, their hair bristling in fury.

The arrival of so many ancient Saints clearly showed they intended to leave Ye Fan no chance of survival. It also revealed their immense apprehension towards the Human Sacred Body, fearing his growth and his potential to walk the strongest trial path and ultimately return as an enlightened being.

Now, they launched a forceful and unrestrained assault, aiming to erase him, to utterly stifle him in the cradle of his growth.

“Want to embark on the strongest trial path? Perhaps in your next life. Go reincarnate well, for in this life, you have no hope!”

For the past few months, the ancient races had remained inactive, unable to find Ye Fan’s whereabouts. However, they had long known he would take this ancient Celestial Road, hence their attack.

The Sacred Body was one of the strongest physiques in the universe, causing deep apprehension among the ancient races. Some radical royal families could not tolerate him becoming a Saint, let alone reaching grand accomplishment in the future.

“Damn it!” A renowned elder of Qishi Mansion clenched his fists, so enraged that he coughed up mouthfuls of blood. This outcome filled him with unbearable frustration and resentment.

“Master!” Ye Tong’s eyes welled up with hot tears, and he couldn’t help but roar in fury, wanting to rush forward. But Black Emperor held him down firmly, telling him to hold back and seek revenge in the future.

“If anything happens to Ye Fan, on the day I become a Saint, I will visit each and every one of these ancient Saints!” Li Tian said coldly.

“Master, don’t die…” The little bald child cried loudly.

These people were utterly despairing. So many ancient Saints had arrived all at once; how could they be stopped?!

“Don’t worry.” Suddenly, a familiar voice sounded, and a figure emerged from the sealed stone chamber in the distance.

He approached, patted Hua Hua’s little bald head, and said, “Don’t cry.” He helped wipe away the streams of tears on Hua Hua’s face.

Everyone was stunned. The person who arrived was indeed Ye Fan, and the stone chamber was the same one he and the old mansion master had entered not long ago.

“This is… what’s going on? You’re Ye Fan, but who is that person on the five-colored altar?” Some renowned elders of Qishi Mansion were bewildered. “I demand an explanation!” Black Emperor bared his teeth.

“For now, we just need to watch the show,” Ye Fan smiled, looking towards the deepest part of Qishi Mansion, where the fierce battle was unfolding.

They knew that since Ye Fan was here and completely safe, it was clear that those ancient Saints had been tricked and were definitely in for a terrible misfortune!
