Chapter 1036: Conquering the Heavenly Prince

**Chapter 1037: Conquering the Son of Heaven**

**Covered Sky**

This painting depicted lively mountains and rivers, vast forests of ancient trees, and boundless silver waterfalls. It was a secret treasure inherited by the Son of Heaven, intended for use against human Dao Slayers. It exuded threads of Dao energy and presented a magnificent sight.

Ye Fan stood on a greenish-blue mountain stone, gazing down at a few individuals. Threads of Dao light emanated from his body, exerting such pressure that the people before him were drenched in sweat, their bone joints nearly dislocating.

They couldn't withstand the immense pressure; their leg bones felt almost crushed. They all knelt, prostrate on the ground, their faces filled with terror.

Who was this person before them? Just his aura alone brought them to the brink of despair. This was an existence comparable to an ancient prince, and yet, he was human.

"Why have we never seen you before?" asked the gray-haired man with deer antlers. He was a Dao Slayer, the only one who hadn't knelt, yet his body was writhing in spasms.

Ye Fan strode forward. Individuals on the first small step of the Dao Slaying realm posed little threat to him. He pressed forward one more step, and the gray-haired man immediately coughed up a mouthful of blood. Though unwilling, he collapsed to the ground.

"As prisoners, you should know your place. I'm asking the questions, not the other way around," Ye Fan sneered coldly.

Without further ado, he spread open a hand, and a burst of colorful light erupted, engulfing one of the individuals and trapping his divine consciousness.

The others' expressions changed. They realized they had no bargaining chips for survival. This person could simply read whatever he wanted from their minds.

"I'll tell you everything!" one of them cried out in fear, genuinely terrified of a fate worse than death.

"Speak. I'm listening," Ye Fan said calmly.

"How dare you? Betray the Prince, and your ten clans will be annihilated!" the gray-haired Dao Slayer shouted.

*Smack!* Ye Fan waved his hand, slapping the man away. Blood splattered everywhere as the man crashed into a distant mountain, leaving a bloody, human-shaped imprint.

The others' faces paled. A nascent Dao Slayer was so easily defeated, like a clay chicken or pottery dog before this individual, sending shivers down their spines.

Immediately, the remaining individuals prostrated themselves, their scales flaring open and closing – a sign of extreme fear among the ancient races.

"Are you... an Emperor's Son?!" one of them asked, his voice trembling.

As members of the ancient races, they were most wary of the human race's Great Emperors of old. Some ancient kings had once speculated that Emperor's Sons would likely appear in this world, capable of rivaling the ancient princes.

Ye Fan's lips curled into a cold smirk as he revealed his true face. The sight stunned them into silence, then they couldn't help but cry out.

"The Human Saint Body!""You've actually returned!"

Then, completely terrified, they held nothing back and revealed everything. How could one possibly provoke a person capable of traversing the cosmos?

Death wasn't the most terrifying thing in this world; they feared Ye Fan would subject their primordial spirits to such extreme torment that they would be unable to even beg for death.

"You mean the Son of Heaven refined those blood samples for an entire year?" Ye Fan asked, surprised.

"Yes, the Prince mentioned it once during an accidental soliloquy, and I overheard him," one of the individuals stammered.

As the saying goes, "a man's name is like the shadow of a tree." Back then, Ye Fan had slaughtered ancient race powerhouses as if mowing down wheat, their blood flowing from the flat summit of the Heavenly Severance Mountain Range all the way down to its base. That battle was filled with wailing ghosts and howling deities, and the sun and moon seemed to lose their light.

Even now, when discussing enemies of the ancient races, many couldn't help but visualize his figure, which felt like a gravestone pressing upon their hearts.

"Over the past year, the Son of Heaven visited Blood Phoenix Mountain and Fire Qilin Cave, and he cultivated for a period using several Ancient Emperor weapons."

Another ancient race member said this, trembling under Ye Fan's pressure, not daring to conceal anything. He revealed every piece of information he knew.

Ye Fan pondered deeply. The Son of Heaven's schemes were indeed far-reaching. Cultivating with Ancient Emperor weapons was likely a pretense; he was probably refining those divine blood samples. Could it be that he was imprinting some inheritance marks onto the Emperor weapons?

"The Prince once told us to keep an eye on every cultivator entering and leaving Jade Lake, and to note down everyone with exceptionally strong bloodlines during this period, so as not to disrupt his important plans."

Several powerful figures, such as King Yuhua and King Gemini from the Central Lands, were being watched by the Son of Heaven's subordinates, preventing them from escaping recently. Other royal bloodlines were not a concern; they wouldn't interfere with his plan.

Another person added that he was familiar with a maid who had served the Son of Heaven. She had mentioned that the Son of God would recite scriptures every time he entered seclusion, as if trying to imprint divine scriptures into something.

After they finished speaking, Ye Fan remained silent for a long time, his eyes gleaming with light as he pondered deeply.

"What exactly does he intend to do? Do you truly not know?"

"We don't know, but I once heard a Half-Saint mention something about 'entering the Immortal Realm together' and 'immortal companions'," one person said tremblingly. He knew this was the Son of Heaven's great enemy, and his return would surely stir up a bloody storm.

"Yes, a Half-Saint did mention that phrase: when the path to immortality opens in the future, there will be great gains, and the divine embryo will assist the Son of Heaven."

Upon hearing this, Ye Fan's heart trembled. A wisp of clear qi surged from his head, transforming into another version of himself, who stepped out of the painting and headed not towards the Jade Lake Pure Land.

This was truly a terrifying matter! All he could do was inform Jade Lake, allowing them to make their own decisions and prepare. He assumed that the sect, holding the Western Emperor Pagoda, possessed immense deterrent power.

Ye Fan could not spare their lives. These individuals were also aware of their fate, seeking only a swift end, and all died with blood spurting seven steps away.

The Dao Slayer had remained defiant, refusing to cooperate. At this moment, he tried to commit suicide but was utterly unable to. Ye Fan pointed a finger, and the Immortal Platform between his eyebrows burst into flames.

"Ah, you can't do this!" he cried out in agony.

Ye Fan observed carefully and, astonishingly, obtained crucial information from the Dao Slayer's Immortal Platform Sea of Consciousness, which made his body tremble: Five years ago, the Son of Heaven had entered the Primordial Ancient Mine!

"Did he succeed?" Ye Fan seized him and demanded loudly.

"I... don't know!" The man remained stubborn and unyielding.

Ye Fan had no choice but to search through the chaotic Sea of Consciousness himself. He painstakingly searched and uncovered the truth: the Son of Heaven had departed, holding the "Divine Decree" left by his father, and was gone for several days. Whether he successfully entered the Primordial Ancient Mine was unknown, but he eventually returned alive.

This gave him a headache. The Primordial Ancient Mine was definitely one of the most terrifying places in the world!

What exactly lay within remained unknown to this day.

The Monkey had once said that his father had entered it but never uttered a single word about it, and even his uncle, the Victorious Fighting Buddha on Mount Sumeru, knew nothing.

An hour later, Ye Fan appeared in God City, revisiting a familiar place with some emotion. Years ago, as a minor cultivator, he had stirred up immense commotion here, engaged in stone gambling battles, and broken through curses – all originating from this very place.

"Boom!" At that moment, everyone in God City was startled. They all felt a surge of mighty vital energy, as if a demonic mountain had flown from afar and descended.

"What's happening? Is a Half-Saint fighting?" Many people flew high into the sky, all looking in one direction.

"Ah, that's... the mysterious expert who appeared in the Fire Spirit Ravine!" many exclaimed.

The area immediately descended into chaos. Countless cultivators and numerous stone gamblers flew high into the sky, gazing towards a cluster of ancient palaces.

A cultivator holding a black spear lifted a magnificent celestial palace with one thrust, causing it to explode in mid-air. It was Ye Fan.

He had come here for no other reason than to kill. This was one of the Son of Heaven's strongholds, his base in God City.

"It's really him! During the battle at Fire Spirit Ravine that shook the world, it was this person who wielded a black divine spear, slaughtering all in his path, forcing even the powerhouses of the ancient races to bow their heads!"

Many had witnessed him in action before and immediately recognized him. They weren't Source Heavenly Masters, so they naturally couldn't discern his true identity.

"Son of Heaven, are you here? I've come to kill you!"

Ye Fan's voice sliced through the sky, echoing like thunder above God City, causing many ancient buildings to tremble. Many people covered their ears, swaying unsteadily.

In this area, no one's expression remained unchanged. Who was the Son of Heaven? For years, he had reigned over the Eastern Wasteland, looking down upon the world without meeting a match, except for the Monkey. Who else dared to be his enemy?

Yet now, someone was openly declaring he would kill him. This was undoubtedly sensational. The area immediately erupted as if blown apart, filled with clamor and uproar!

At this moment, countless eyes were fixed on the palace complex, watching that valiant figure.

Ye Fan, holding his spear in one hand, entered the palace complex alone. With a single sweep of his spear, all twenty-eight colossal palaces ahead were sent flying into the sky, then exploded into dust.

Everyone gasped in astonishment. These palaces were inscribed with ancient formations, crisscrossed by destructive light. Even an ordinary Dao Slayer would shed blood upon entering, yet now they were more fragile than paper.

The formations personally inscribed by the Son of Heaven were useless, all shattered into ashes by a single spear thrust!

"Who are you, daring to cause trouble here?!" From the last palace, a dozen figures rushed out, their hair bristling with rage, scales and horns menacing, each one fierce and savage.

Ye Fan frowned. The Son of Heaven was not here, but it wasn't unexpected. Although the so-called Son of God was invincible and formidable, he was also very cautious and rarely appeared in God City.

"Last time, I killed a wisp of your Prince's primordial spirit. He vowed to annihilate my ten clans. Now I've come, to slay his true body!" Ye Fan said coldly.

*Whoosh!* This time, everyone in God City heard him, and the entire city erupted. Everyone felt their blood flow quicken, clenching their fists. This master was truly too formidable!

Everyone was utterly shocked. Killing a wisp of the Son of Heaven's primordial spirit wasn't enough; he had actively come here, intending to kill his true body.

The first person in fourteen years!

For all these years, besides the Holy Prince of the ancient races, he was the only human who dared to be so strong, intending to slay the Son of Heaven!

"You boast shamelessly, daring to cause trouble here! Leave your wretched life behind!" The Son of Heaven's subordinates immediately exploded in anger. Standing before the last colossal palace, their eyes wide with fury, their killing intent permeated the entire city.

*Pfft!* Ye Fan was simple and direct. The black long spear in his hand gleamed with a cold light as he thrust it forward with extreme speed, piercing through the target. With a *bang*, it shattered, turning into a pile of bloody mud and steaming blood mist.

The crowd was astonished, letting out a chorus of exclamations. Who dared to act like this after all these years! Even the Son of Heaven's servants, when out, made various powerful lords wary and afraid to provoke them, as they were all high and mighty.

But now, this person came alone, spear in hand, and killed openly, decisively and ruthlessly, making everyone's blood boil.

"If the Son of Heaven doesn't come out, I will fight across the world today, eradicate all his strongholds, and cleanse them completely!" Ye Fan said indifferently, his black long spear pointing diagonally towards the southern sky.

"How dare you!" In front of the colossal palace, the strongest Dao Slayer among them looked ferocious, pointing a finger at Ye Fan and declaring, "Today, you will leave your wretched life here!"

*Buzz!* The void trembled, thoroughly distorting. The black spear in Ye Fan's hand flew out, tracing a dark streak of light, and *whoosh!* it pierced through the man, splattering a large amount of blood. It carried his body away and, with a *thud*, impaled him onto the plaque of the colossal palace, nailing him alive to it.

"What is there to fear? Today, I will slaughter my way through, eradicating all his strongholds. Let's see what he can do to me!" Ye Fan said coldly.

Streaks of fresh blood trickled down from the plaque. The Dao Slayer, covered in blood, was impaled through his glabella by the black long spear, pinned there, unable to move!
