Now, over eighty years have passed, and the vacuum, which impeded civilizational exchange, was forcibly overcome first by three races.
Some powerful races, like the entirely white, horned race, communicated using divine sense.
A green-skinned humanoid creature communicated via two tentacles on its forehead, similar to pheromone exchange.
Even more bizarre was a small insect that communicated directly by emitting radiation waves.
In summary, three races rose first and entered the ranks of the first echelon.
Caroline looked at these three races, frowning slightly. She said, “Since you three races have been the first to develop communication abilities, it proves you have immense potential. I intend to take you with me, to put you on the fast track to civilizational progress... As for the other races, their potential isn't necessarily insufficient; they might just develop later and aren't outstanding in the early stages. However, I can't analyze them all, so I can only select a batch first.”
She decided on these three races and immediately transported them to the small planet that had just ascended.
In an instant, the three races each formed tribes and began to proliferate across the entire planet, entering an era of cohabitation.
In the blink of an eye, over twenty years passed. They waged war against each other, developed their civilizations, and had even begun to develop their own languages.
At this time, Xu Zhi returned, curiously observing the scene on the planet. “You let them fight each other?”
Caroline nodded solemnly, “You’re back just in time. It’s time to enter the third phase of the Genesis Project!”
Xu Zhi was stunned.
The first phase was the creation of all races.
The second phase was using all races to create a planet.
So, what was the third phase after the first planet appeared?
“Of course, I won’t let them inhabit it and slowly evolve through civilizational eras over hundreds or thousands of years,” Caroline said seriously. “I want to deduce world lines and project their future. I want to project their advanced civilization hundreds of years from now!”
Xu Zhi asked with a smile, “Calculate the future, world lines? They aren’t demon core beings, so it’s difficult to deduce their future.”
“Indeed, they have flesh-and-blood brains, making it difficult to deduce their future, and requiring immense computing power, but it’s not impossible.”
Caroline smiled, pointing to the back of the heads of the three races’ creatures across the planet. “They have sentient demon core chips installed in the back of their heads. When their numbers aren’t too large—specifically, below one billion—I can calculate each one individually... My computing power is immense.”
Xu Zhi was startled. One billion flesh-and-blood lives was a terrifying number.
“I’m not that powerful. This ability is quite limited; it requires wearing special materials and can only calculate ordinary beings. It doesn’t work for anything above a Heavenly Emperor,” Caroline smiled.
Caroline then demonstrated the calculation to Xu Zhi.
“This is what I saw would happen in the next day,” Caroline said, showing Xu Zhi the future world line.
Xu Zhi saw that in the coming day, the members of these three races were engaging in mundane activities like gathering firewood, building houses, and crafting tools.
After observing this, Xu Zhi waited silently for another day in reality, and to his surprise, it unfolded exactly as she had deduced.
“You’re already stronger than the Three Pillar Gods,” Xu Zhi found it bizarre. “So, you plan to directly deduce their future in this manner?”
“Yes,” Caroline replied. “Would you like to see?”
Xu Zhi nodded, “I wouldn’t miss it.”
With a wave of her hand, Caroline and Xu Zhi appeared in a sci-fi-filled hall. Here, she intended to bring about a completely new and novel Genesis.
Before them was a massive screen, displaying their history.
In Xu Zhi’s eyes, the three races rapidly evolved, advanced, and developed their civilizations.
Stone Star, Year 23.
Twenty-three years had passed since the civilization was established, and a tri-partite power dynamic gradually formed.
The tall Green Beings with two tentacles on their foreheads were mighty and communicated via pheromones.
The white-skinned, horned White Dwarves were small and communicated through divine sense.
The ant-sized Red Beetles were weak and fragile, communicating via radiation waves.
Stone Star, Year 40.
The tall Green Beings, Red Beetles, and White Dwarves engaged in mutual warfare. They entered the era of primitive tribal warfare, wielding spears, with varying degrees of success.
Stone Star, Year 74.
The balance was broken. The tall Green Beings, gathering in groups and possessing high intelligence, quickly occupied the most fertile valley regions, rapidly growing in power and development. They invented the initial application of 'Qi', using a cross-legged meditation method to absorb vast cosmic radiation and the power of starlight, converting it into internal True Qi. They also began to skillfully use radiation, combining it with True Qi to form Qi-light cannons. They soon enslaved the weak Red Beetles.
“They became slaves so quickly.”
Sitting at a distance, Xu Zhi watched this scene and sighed softly. He knew reality was often far more brutal.
He had previously observed the rise of various races, like the Babylonian and Sumerian civilizations. Many times, it happened this quickly. History was cruel; demise and rise occurred in an instant.
Within a month, the White Dwarves, stronger than the Red Beetles, quickly became alarmed by the rise of the tall Green Beings. Although they suffered significant losses, they successfully migrated their race, avoiding the fate of capture and annihilation.
A year later, the White Dwarves’ resistance proved largely futile. The populations of their major tribes plummeted. In desperation, Thoth, the leader of the White Dwarves, led their most elite reproductive forces in a surprise attack on the enemy’s core tribe, but they utterly failed and were taken captive.
Stone Star, Year 97.
The era of great unification emerged. The Great Green Being Kingdom was established, implementing a monarchical slavery system. They enslaved the White Dwarves and used the Red Beetles as 'telephonic insects,' leveraging their ultra-long radiation waves for communication, thus allowing their civilization to develop.
Stone Star, Year 109.
The Great Green Beings entered the Imperial Age, prospering and building urban castles.
In Xu Zhi’s eyes, a brand new civilizational future was already unfolding.
This planet would ultimately be completely ruled by the tall Green Being race, who would continue to proliferate and enter an urban era. Sci-fi buildings with a vacuum-fantasy aesthetic would stand tall, with communication facilitated by 'telephonic insects' and White Dwarves used as slave labor.
Initial civilization deduction complete. Save?
Xu Zhi looked at Caroline next to him, his face full of questions.
“Please try saving it,” Caroline said with a smile.
“Save.”
Please name this world line.
Xu Zhi pondered for a moment. “Rise of the Epoch: City-State Green Beings.”
Saved successfully.
Whoosh!
In Xu Zhi’s eyes, like a plot-driven game screen flashing, a branching world line appeared, marked with chronological nodes and accompanying images.
He randomly clicked on a point on this world line, an image of a past war at a certain node.
Load from this world line node?
Xu Zhi was instantly astonished.
Wasn’t this just like those plot-driven games?
Like the branching storyline diagrams in games such as *Detroit: Become Human*.
Every choice would affect the trajectory of historical evolution, the pivot points of civilization, and even the systems of supernatural powers that emerged.
Xu Zhi’s composure began to waver.
Previously, when he deduced civilizations on the sand table, each era was recorded, and there was no way to restart. But here... if he was dissatisfied with any point, he could try loading a save and restarting, interfering with the world line?
“Interfering with world lines, that’s a rule we have here.”
Caroline smiled, explaining calmly, “The Three Pillar Gods, back then, influenced world lines and waged wars in this very manner. So I wanted to try applying it here, to develop the future of this world’s civilization in its most perfect form, continuously loading saves and replaying.”
“This is the third step of the Genesis Project. Since we can see the future, what about the Creator God?”
Caroline said, full of pride, “It must be able to see it. It exists between the past and the future, in a mysterious spatio-temporal dimension... Our three-dimensional world is one-dimensional to it—a visible straight line, a 'world line'... It can certainly, just like us looking at the entire world line on this screen, freely observe every historical node.”
She pointed to the entire screen, which displayed the world line of this planet.
“Yes, the Creator God is just like us now. In its eyes, there are worlds, and it can easily see the world line of any given world, freely choosing a node to alter, loading saves and restarting at any time... The moment we two faced the Creator God’s arrival was very likely a world node it had already foreseen! Even our actions right now are part of the world line it chose; our future is destined by it... This, this is the Creator God!”
I don’t have that ability.
Xu Zhi felt helpless inwardly.
But in an instant, he found it quite logical. If there truly was a Creator God, it would indeed be this terrifying.
Nevertheless, Caroline’s method astonished him even more.
“You can deduce here, and I’ll go to the other side! We’ll each do our own thing...” Caroline smiled, then shook herself and stood up. “This is a test of knowledge and ability. How about we engage in a theoretical debate? Let’s see whose deduced civilization is more impressive.”
Xu Zhi’s eyelids twitched. This fellow was stirring up trouble.
She was so ruthless, meticulously planning such a precise Genesis Project. Was she waiting here to provoke me all along?
“Indeed, taking advantage of such a ruthless person is not easy. If I lose, it’ll be very awkward,” Xu Zhi suddenly felt helpless.
Next, he didn’t pay attention to Caroline’s departure. He chose not to interfere with previous historical nodes, but instead continued the deduction to see what the tall Green Being civilization would become.
Stone Star, Year 140.
The Great Green Being Kingdom was divided into two types: Combat Green Beings, who researched radiation-based True Qi cultivation methods, and Intellectual Green Beings, who researched technological radiation techniques. They began attempting to excavate and explore outer space. They discovered that Stone Star, where they lived, was likely a giant living being, possessing life.
Stone Star, Year 171.
The Great Green Being Kingdom researched the material of Stone Star. They discovered a type of clay life cell that could repair their bodies and disabilities, forming prosthetics, and also facilitate ventilation, supplying True Qi for smooth circulation. This discovery caused a sensation throughout the Green Being Kingdom, becoming the core technology for future hospitals.
Stone Star, Year 198.
The Great Green Being Kingdom continued to research the material of Stone Star. The Intellectual Green Being Grand Elder created seven small Stone Stars, each possessing powerful life energy. He publicly declared that he was researching a field close to godhood: if successful, these seven Stone Stars might be able to revive the dead, regenerate flesh and bone, and grant anyone's wishes!
Xu Zhi watched the future of this planet develop to this point, and simply fell silent.
The tall Green Beings with tentacles... Could they be Namekians?
Xu Zhi slightly opened his eyes, passed through the ripples, and slowly entered that space-time.
He appeared in sci-fi cities composed of spherical buildings. The streets were made of black stone, flanked by radiation lamps emitting a perpetual, translucent, hazy white light. Watching the tall Green Beings walking around, he felt immensely curious. “Is this the civilization of this planet, two hundred years from now, as deduced?”
“This is too interesting.”
He flickered slightly and appeared before the aged Grand Elder. “This is a brand new Genesis civilization. If you are dissatisfied with the deduced history, you can load a save and restart, guiding the civilization’s history towards its most powerful world line!”
This Green Being was bloated and corpulent. He sat on a tall chair, holding seven grey stone orbs, continuously researching and understanding their structure.
“Who’s there?”
The Grand Elder was startled and abruptly stood up. It was impossible for any outsider to be here.
