Chapter 562: Creating the God of All Things (Two in One)

This small satellite, less than half the size of the moon, appears from a distance like a barren, ochre-colored desert sphere. It orbits slowly around a brilliant, profound, and mysterious gas giant, revolving in the dark starry sky.

Primeval, desolate, eternal.

At this moment, on a tiny, almost inconspicuous patch of land on its surface, plants are rapidly multiplying, adding a touch of vibrant green, the color of life, to this barren and desolate land.

"Only by truly experiencing it can one understand how precious a living planet in the universe is," Xu Zhi murmured. Dressed in mechanical armor, he gently squatted beside a vibrant green tree seedling, earnestly stroking its tender leaves, looking like an agricultural research scientist. "This is truly the miracle of life in the universe... If I hadn't created a vacuum-adapted species that only requires water, it would be impossible for life to proliferate in the vacuum of space. This entire cosmos would be destined to remain barren deserts."

The water gushed. "Life is the greatest miracle in the universe." Xu Zhi continuously melted solid ice, allowing it to flow into the ground, and soon, life began to flourish. "It's astonishing that polymers formed from common elements like carbon, oxygen, silicon, and others, found everywhere in the universe, can undergo a qualitative change to develop self-awareness."

One acre.Two acres...

Xu Zhi quickly realized a problem: water was not the most difficult resource. His magical power was still sufficient to melt ice into liquid water for irrigation, allowing plants to grow rapidly, and water could be stored within them. Instead, carbon dioxide and oxygen, these two internal gas chambers, limited the expansion of the population and were difficult to transport, as they were, after all, stolen from Earth.

"Stealing water, stealing oxygen, stealing carbon dioxide..." Xu Zhi looked at the small satellite, suddenly felt a little "dirty," and stopped what he was doing, murmuring to himself, "Never mind, let's just leave it like this for now, and then I'll let those little guys in."

Whoosh! Instantly, the "woo-wah-woo-wah" gas sprites finally rushed out of the orchard's living room, cheering loudly. Clearly, they preferred this harsh vacuum universe over an environment filled with harmonious air.

"This is truly my fantastical, extraordinary planet." Xu Zhi gazed at the entire miniature planet; although it was only slightly larger than the territory of China and even as tiny and delicate as a Kaioshin's planet, he suddenly felt an indescribable sense of satisfaction. Having achieved such a significant feat at the Heavenly Emperor realm, he was very pleased.

"Woooo!" In the distance, the gas sprites saw their favorite tree friends again and eagerly rushed over to take a bite.

"Get lost," Xu Zhi said, swatting them away with a slap. They immediately shrank back in fear, huddling nervously to the side. But then they spotted water on the ground, became excited again, and quickly darted towards it.

"Woo-wah!" Xu Zhi delivered another slap from a distance. They instantly looked aggrieved and let out tiny, quiet cries. Xu Zhi pointed at the solid ice, indicating that if they wanted water, they should melt it themselves. Completely bewildered, they could only dejectedly run to the solid ice, where they began to babble and attempt to melt it with their inner energy.

"Trees and animals have essentially formed a unique ecosystem here... Though they appear to be two separate species, they are, in fact, one." Xu Zhi mused slowly, his voice low. "After all, they both rely on internal circulation of carbon dioxide and oxygen... The fundamental distinction between plants and animals has long blurred for them. The biggest difference between them now is simply whether they move or not... one moves, one doesn't."

"Nevertheless, they are still the archetypal ancestors of two species, and in the future, they can evolve into diverse forms of life on this small vacuum planet." Xu Zhi continued to ponder. Over the next few days of cultivating the experimental plot, as he allowed them to adapt to the new environment and watched these two creatures readjust, he was astonished to discover that they had formed a unique symbiotic relationship.

The gas sprites helped the trees by melting ice and providing water for their proliferation. In turn, the trees utilized their superior ability to absorb radiant energy, producing fruits that the gas sprites could use for cultivation.

However, while it seemed they could reproduce and expand their population, they could only maintain a constant number, because there was no new supply of carbon dioxide or oxygen to support the birth of new individuals.

After a moment of pause, he took a deep breath. "Never mind," he decided. "It's time to bring Caroline in... But before that, I need to seize the opportunity to possess a gas sprite so I can move freely in the vacuum. After all, wearing this mechanical battle armor isn't practical."

A super ancient god needs to wear mechanical battle armor to survive in a vacuum... Isn't that ridiculous!?

Xu Zhi found two young and robust gas sprites. Their reproduction was quite peculiar: as beings that were half-tree and half-animal, they laid eggs that were half-fruit and half-embryo, and these slimy eggs were even regurgitated from their mouths.

"I thought they were Saiyans, but it turns out they're more like Piccolo Daimao," Xu Zhi mused, feeling a bit speechless. "But they are the ancestral forms, after all. Who knows what they will evolve into through future differentiation."

Xu Zhi took two slimy eggs and nurtured them with the utmost care, and soon, two little tree-babies were born: one male and one female.

Next, he directly prepared two of the Rubik's Cube second-generation genetic elixirs and injected them into the babies, allowing them to cultivate their inner worlds. In less than two real-world hours, they grew up and broke through to the third level.
