Chapter 431: White Bone Swordsman, Hidden Sword, and Body

A hush fell over the group.

How did this person come up with so many wild moves?

What bizarre idea had he conjured up now? "Corpse Sword Immortal," "Bringing Your Head to Be a Sword"—it sounded incredibly unique from the start.

In fact, by this point, everyone had realized that this player was exceptionally skilled at survival, possessing genuine abilities. Setting aside other cultivation talents, his insight into current affairs and historical trends was remarkably sharp. Indeed, this was his forte: surviving the great waves of destruction across three eras and enduring through chaotic times—something most people simply couldn't do! Most would have perished instantly after taking such a brutal combination of societal blows.

Initially, he used a balloon fish, hoping to seize an opportunity amidst the "Three Realms" grotesque disaster. Although he entered the wrong world, he has since diligently sought opportunities by riding the waves of each era, following the path of "heroes forged by circumstances" to rise with the tides of history.

Combat talent and cultivation talent are merely important factors in becoming a strong individual, but they are not decisive. Temperament and wisdom are paramount. Even with average aptitude, this person might genuinely rise to prominence!

Some individuals, hidden in the shadows, quietly pondered, their minds stirring with subtle notions.

Scare You Three Thousand: "Ahem, first, let me introduce my cultivation path and share it with everyone. Please listen patiently as I explain. As I mentioned, there are three skill cultivation paths:

Sword Immortal, Ancestral Witch True Form, and Genetic Lock Zombie Transformation!

First, both the Ancestral Witch True Form and the Zombie Transformation are transformation-type combat techniques. The Ancestral Witch True Form is characterized by continuous regeneration and tenacious vitality. The Zombie Transformation, on the other hand, involves burning life force, breaking down every cell in the body, and squeezing them to release energy, which results in cellular fluid rupture and pus oozing from the entire body.

So, the question is, can a regenerating cell and a burning cell combine perfectly? It's like a generator: one adds fuel, and the other burns it."

Everyone was stunned by this analysis, and two words sprang to mind: "Hardcore."

Akina Mountain Speed: "Ahem, it truly is a perfect combination. If a zombie cultivated the 'body refinement' path and learned the Ancestral Witch True Form's combat style, it could indeed greatly counteract the side effects of zombification and using 'resolve'! It wouldn't be as damaging to the body anymore."

Everyone agreed that made sense, but then how would two transformation abilities combine with the Sword Immortal lineage? Sword Immortals typically enter the Dao through their weapons, while body cultivators temper their physiques—the two seemed somewhat conflicting.

Scare You Three Thousand continued, "Haven't you noticed? The Sword Immortal and both transformations share a common characteristic."

"What characteristic?" someone asked.

"Explosive power! They all involve instantaneous bursts!" he replied seriously.

Everyone thought about it and realized it was true. Both transformation forms were inherently energy-intensive, and Sword Immortals, not to mention, were known for their burst capabilities.

Scare You Three Thousand: "So, I had an idea: combine these three explosive skills for instant enemy annihilation. One regenerating cell and one burning cell provide the energy, while the Sword Immortal uses that energy for instantaneous burst attacks. It's like adding fuel and burning it to unleash a 'sword skill' cannon."

Silence fell. "Is this… a process?"

This person is incredible; everyone was looking at him with new admiration. Some once again pondered the truths contained within this game. "So, learning truly makes me powerful? Am I not strong enough because I haven't learned enough?"

Xia Niming continued to speak eloquently, "As for the Sword Immortal's burst power, their combat effectiveness needs no further explanation, right? We also have an advantage that even Mount Shu Sword Immortals don't: the Corpse Race possesses immense vitality. After unlocking the genetic lock, as long as we have resolve, even decapitation or being cut in half at the waist won't result in instant death. Therefore, our 'swords' have more options—they don't necessarily have to be dismembered limbs, do they?"

Everyone asked: "Then what part of the body would be used to forge the sword?"

“This is a new method that keeps the body intact,” Xia Niming explained. “You see, Sword Immortals are assassins. What’s the essence of an assassin? A one-hit kill! The sword must be extremely concealed; your opponent must not detect where your sword is hidden until the second before you attack!”

This made a lot of sense, and many began to seriously discuss: Where would be the best place to hide the sword? "Bringing Your Head to Be a Sword"—could it be that he refines his head into a sword?

“It can’t be using the head, can it? While a head having a magic core would indeed be useful for a flying sword, that wouldn't be a sword; it would be more like a flying head curse! A type of sorcery used by shamans!”

“Flying head for killing? Isn’t that called the Heaven-Overturning Seal?”

“No, that’s called a chamber pot!”

The online community was abuzz with excitement.

Xia Niming continued to shake his head. "How could I make it so easy for you to guess? If you could guess it, what would be the point of hiding my sword? I wonder if any of you have seen the Dead Bone Pulse from Naruto?"

Everyone confirmed they had, referring to the ability to extract bones from one's flesh. Even some who hadn't seen it chattered with questions, and nearby users provided several screenshots of Kimimaro from the anime as an explanation.

Xia Niming stated, "My Corpse Sword Immortal path, also known as the White Bone Sword, involves using white bones as swords. I've just barely managed to get someone to cultivate it successfully. The following images are too grotesque; minors, please do not watch."

Screenshot:

A screenshot appeared. In the image, a black bear stood upright like a human, its gaze as sharp as an eagle's. It resembled a terrifying swordsman, staring intently at a skunk before it.

Comments poured in:“It has strong sword intent, like a true swordsman!”

“It must have achieved some level of cultivation; it has a similar aura to some of the lesser Sword Immortals from Mount Shu.”

Everyone grew curious. It had all its limbs and wasn't carrying a sword, so where was its sword?

The next screenshot was posted: a linked GIF.

The black bear slowly extended its hands, gripped its own neck, and astonishingly, pulled upwards!

A white bone spine sword, still connected to the bear's head, was pulled out. The entire bear transformed into a headless swordsman. This headless swordsman, holding the neck of its own bear-head white bone sword, instantly unleashed an unfathomable aura and lunged with a light dash!

The skunk in front of it died instantly, all its blood drained dry by the white bone longsword, leaving behind a withered, mummified corpse.

The longsword was tossed into the sky.

With a flash of cold light, the sharp sword descended and returned to its "sheath."

The berserk bear gripped its neck with both hands and twisted it, as if reattaching a faucet.

The black bear then drifted away casually, like a passerby, leaving behind only a dashing silhouette. There was an air of an elusive killer Sword Immortal about it, with its weapon hidden within its very being, and the swift satisfaction of killing and immediately disappearing.

“It hid the sword again?”

The world fell into a deathly silence. As if all sound had vanished. They were all utterly stunned. They had pondered where the sword might be hidden and what kind of terrifying burst it would unleash, but who could have known it would be such a bizarre sight, completely overturning everyone's perception of reality.Stunned for a full few seconds.

“Holy crap! Man and sword become one!”“Holy crap! White Bone Sword Immortal!”“Holy crap! Bring your head to be a sword!”

The entire forum erupted in a synchronized roar, everyone's mouths agape in an 'O' shape. This bear was simply invincible! They instantly grasped the essence of the phrase "Bringing Your Head to Be a Sword": Lift your head, and the sword appears!
