Chapter 347: Why Can't You Play Snake in My Mind?

Of course, this was just a speculative discussion between the sisters, born purely out of interest. But it was certainly intriguing, wasn't it?

"Currently, our Earth has no silicon-based life. However, in the near future, we might be able to create artificial silicon-based life—intelligent AI programs, artificial intelligences capable of thought and possessing true wisdom. Take AlphaGo, for example, which was so popular recently; this intelligent AI can already continuously learn and grow smarter."

In a sense, humanity's future is undoubtedly moving closer to the realm of a creator, potentially enabling the creation of true intelligent life.

But will such silicon-based life, such artificial mechanical intelligence, eventually betray humanity? Many films portray artificial intelligence turning against and enslaving humanity. In reality, many prominent scientists are resisting the development of AI, viewing it as opening a forbidden zone.

"Whether they open the door to that forbidden zone or not, I don't know," Pan Yuxian thought, feeling a secret sense of pride. "But my sister and I have already secretly done so." Her elder sister, with her somewhat dark disposition, had been researching for over a hundred years and had become frighteningly powerful!

But as she gazed at the blank computer desktop, she mumbled to herself, "I wanted my sister to program a game of Snake for me! I could play it when I'm bored, especially now that I've become a computer. But instead, she told me my 'computer' could run 'Fishing Joy'—because my 'brain is full of water!'"

Her mind was filled with memories of all the things related to researching this system. In short, there was only one conclusion: her brilliant older sister was absolutely incredible!

As she walked, observing her surroundings while surviving in the jungle, she suddenly looked at a nearby plant and accessed the only program in her mind: the stored analysis library.

"Analyzing plant appearance..."

"Purple Vine Grass, can be used as a healing medicine. For specific functions, please insert the probe to examine."

Her tendrils pierced into it.

"Analysis is too slow!"

She pondered for a moment, then glanced back at the seven CPU creatures slowly wriggling and following her.

"I'm too weak right now, not even a first-tier creature. My sister says I'm worse than Windows 98. At best, my computing power is only slightly better than the old Symbian system... Hmm, it's time to make a move. System transformation!"

"Loading..."

A line of text appeared on the computer's desktop, finally transforming into large, vivid red characters: "Eight-core chip! Eight cores are stronger than one!"

Click-clack-clack!

Each CPU transformed, connecting together and computing frantically. Instantly, the analysis speed became incredibly fast.

"It feels like flying!"

Pan Yuxian was overjoyed. "It's wonderful to have a brilliant older sister with a dark disposition and a face that makes it seem like everyone owes her a fortune. I don't have to use my brain for anything... except she insists on forcing me to learn programming, to leverage the system's capabilities, and make me design programs within this 'computer' of mine. Then I have to combine that with my knowledge of the human body and various exercise techniques. Oh well, time in this other world is abundant, so I'll learn slowly."

Silicon-based life offered an entirely different mode of cultivation. The idea that she could grow stronger through programming on the system desktop in her mind was truly astonishing.

"But I'm so weak!" She looked at the system panel, then surveyed her surroundings: lush green forests, thorny weeds covering the ground, which were quite sharp. "I'm weaker than a slime right now, just a CPU with fuzzy tendrils."

Slimes can hop around, and the tuft of hair on their heads is surprisingly strong, capable of striking others! And what about her? A CPU, reborn into a dangerous otherworldly realm...

Yet, she wasn't afraid of her surroundings; in fact, she felt a sense of anticipation. She was an adventurous person, with experience in climbing and rainforest survival. Naturally, this kind of survival in an alien forest wouldn't daunt her.

"I once taught my students the three essential elements of wilderness survival: first, shelter; second, fire, and third, food. But now, my most immediate survival task is a fourth: finding a body!"

Her eyes scanned her surroundings, a sharp glint appearing in them. Don't question how a fitness instructor possessed such extensive knowledge, even teaching survival skills. She simply knew an incredible amount! While she lagged behind her sister in other academic pursuits, in this particular area, she possessed unparalleled passion and confidence.

She cautiously roamed through the jungle for several hours before spotting a wild chicken. A line of information flashed through her mind:

"Red Mountain Chicken: a first-tier ancient beast, possessing an extremely faint Warlock bloodline."

Her eyes immediately narrowed.

"The first rule of wilderness survival: night is the most terrifying time in the mountains. Never trust fate; don't wait for luck to carry you through the night. Instead, decide your own destiny! For now, I must choose the weakest system host, and this is it!"

She quietly went into a stealth position. She was also very patient, accustomed to hunting this way in the wilderness. Slowly, she approached the wild chicken, her tendrils gently penetrating its body.

Cluck, cluck, cluck!

The wild chicken suddenly thrashed wildly, flapping its wings, but it was already too late; a black chip had rooted itself in its body.

"Ding! The Ultimate Face-Slapping System is loading!"

"Bio-chip activating..."

"Restarting stored information for analysis..."

A voice echoed in the wild chicken's mind. Wild Chicken: Cluck cluck cluck????

The wild chicken ultimately lacked intelligence, but as a common wild animal, it was quite easy to control.

Two weeks later, a formidable entity emerged in the jungle, responsible for the deaths of countless wild beasts.

"One hundred sixty-nine!""One hundred seventy!"

A sinewy chicken, almost completely bald with massive, bronze-toned muscle growth, gripped a thick tree trunk with its wings and performed pull-ups.

Whoosh!

Having lost its feathers and thus its ability to glide, the bald chicken dropped directly to the ground and began doing push-ups.

"One!""Two!"

Its two wings braced it on the ground, steadily moving up and down as sweat poured off its body in sheets. Its last remaining feathers also began to fall. Veins pulsed across its entire bald body, bulging with every exertion. Its temples swelled, and even the muscles on its forehead contracted into a V-shape, making its physique appear as if forged from steel.

"Display this chicken's physical condition."

While still doing push-ups, a blue panel appeared, displaying a slowly rotating 3D anatomical diagram of the chicken. It showed the distribution of every vibrant red muscle and its current training status. As a fitness instructor, with the aid of the system, she could intuitively observe everything.

"Complete these three hundred seventy-one push-ups to train the biceps of this chicken's wings! Then perform one hundred seventy-three squats to develop the quadriceps of its legs!"

As it did push-ups, sweat poured from its body. The essence of life's realm was evolution—the unleashing of potential. She could already feel that with every exercise of the chicken's muscles and bones, its bloodline was awakening.

"Hold on, I'll go prepare a nutritional meal for this chicken, focusing on protein... Then, I should be ready to challenge that second-tier tiger."
