Chapter 164: Messiah Monarch Emperor

Boom!

For a full half hour, Xu Zhi unleashed over twenty War Hammers, leveling the ground as he advanced. From above, it appeared as though a train had carved a wide, massive dirt road across the entire landscape.

The Ala behemoth stopped at the palace gates. Surprisingly, the orcs on both sides no longer attacked; instead, they stood calmly, as if intentionally leaving the gates wide open.

“Brom, he didn’t flee?” Xu Zhi dismounted the Ala behemoth, surprised, and, bringing King Wesley with him, proceeded step by step.

On both sides stood lines of elite orcs, clad in black leather armor, wielding weapons, their gazes fixed straight ahead.

“These are elite orcs, each capable of fighting ten men,” King Wesley whispered as a warning.

Xu Zhi strode into the Human Kingdom’s royal hall. The atmosphere was solemn. On either side stood orc ministers and the leaders of major orc tribes. On a grayish-black, intricately carved throne sat a tall, formidable orc with extended gray wings and sharp claws—it was Brom, the King of the Orcs.

“Warrior, what impressive might,” Brom exclaimed, clapping loudly from his throne. “You are covered in fur; compared to humans, you resemble an orc more. You have no vested interest in the human race, so why fight for them? Why not join my ranks? I will name you: the Orcs' Foremost Warrior.”

Brom's gaze was fervent. “I am about to rule the world. There will be no human species left, only our orc race. Power and beautiful women will be yours to enjoy. You brought Emperor Wesley here for a reward, did you not?”

Emperor Wesley trembled slightly, looking at the ministers on both sides, and instinctively moved behind Xu Zhi.

Xu Zhi paused, then chuckled softly. “Brom, who allowed you to sit on that throne? Get down! I brought Wesley here to make both kingdoms submit. I will become the emperor of this era.”

Brom’s expression stiffened. A dwarf orc strategist beside him couldn't help but step forward and loudly rebuke, “Our king honored you by calling you a warrior! Without that respect, what are you?”

Around them, tall, formidable orc warriors also sneered.

“You dare come here, relying on a mere Tier 4?”

“Don't you know that our royal orc lineage, the Harpies, are naturally venomous, capable of poisoning ancient Tier 4 sorcerers to death?”

It’s not that they hadn’t cultivated; even their strongest had reached Tier 3. And even if a Tier 4 reached this point, how much stamina would they have left? They were confident of victory.

Xu Zhi looked around, bursting into a silent laugh.

In an instant, immense power surged. A fissure was violently torn across the ground, and the entire royal hall was punctured and largely shattered.

Xu Zhi took another step forward. Countless orcs were sent flying backward, and the entire hall instantly became riddled with holes.

Xu Zhi took yet another step, moving completely closer to Brom’s throne.

“Daring assassin!!!” Two shadow guards, Harpies hidden in the dark and surprisingly Tier 3 fighters, lunged forward ferociously with terrifyingly sharp claws.

“War Hammer!” The two strongest personal guards instantly vomited large gouts of blood and were sent crashing away.

Xu Zhi finally reached the throne of Brom, King of the Orcs.

Massive, invisible War Hammers materialized. His mental power seemed inexhaustible as thirty War Hammers were unleashed simultaneously. Countless waves of energy enveloped Xu Zhi’s entire body, his long black hair flying as if writhing in flames. Invisible energy gathered behind him like a surging cape, and the enormous war hammers overshadowed the entire hall.

“This vast, boundless power... is this truly a human?” All the orcs turned deathly pale, their spirits shattered. That world-shattering aura not only instantly shattered the entire royal hall but also profoundly shook everyone present.

Brom, too, trembled, looking at the thirty War Hammers converging before him. The terrifying winds they generated even carved sharp scratches across his face. In that instant, a million plots and thoughts flashed through his mind, yet they were utterly futile in the face of such an enormous power disparity.

“Orcs, choose to submit.” Finally, he slowly bent at the waist and knelt on the ground.

The moment Brom knelt, the surrounding orcs fell silent, filled with countless complex and bitter emotions. They were just one step away from the glory of the orcs, yet it had been extinguished in a flash. At this moment, all orcs understood that Brom’s surrender, representing the highest authority of the Orc Kingdom, meant that the Orc Kingdom would submit to this terrifying being for countless ages to come.

Meanwhile, Emperor Wesley, standing nearby, watched the figure in the royal hall with utter shock. A single person subjugating two great kingdoms! Wesley had read extensively and was naturally familiar with ancient mythical texts. This level of power could not be Tier 4; otherwise, he would have been exhausted long ago. Although, according to Shirley’s secret communications with him, the aura wasn’t strong, indicating Tier 4 mental sorcery, launching over sixty War Hammers back to back would be difficult even for a Tier 5! It could only be a Tier 6 legend.

Even during the peak of ancient civilizations, a Tier 7 Epic was considered an emperor, and a Tier 6 Legend could suppress an entire nation—an extremely formidable power. Much less now, when their strongest was only Tier 3!

Xu Zhi looked around, his expression utterly calm. “My name is Messiah. From today onward, I shall be the emperor, bringing order to the world, and both kingdoms shall revere me.”

Having spoken, Xu Zhi turned, intending to leave.

Everyone froze, not expecting this turn of events. He had come to subjugate two great kingdoms and become emperor, yet he wouldn't ascend the throne, establish a royal hall, or rule the world? Instead, he turned and left?

“Emperor Messiah, why are you leaving! Where are you going?” Brom trembled, utterly distraught, and roared hoarsely from behind. Someone had just fulfilled his lifelong dream, yet they showed no appreciation and simply turned to leave.

“I go to seek truth,” Xu Zhi softly replied.

“Truth?” Brom gasped in surprise, and the surrounding orc ministers also fell into confusion.

Xu Zhi waved his hand behind him, and his slender figure gradually vanished at the doorway. “As long as I exist, it will be the era of Emperor Messiah. I will still suppress both kingdoms, so do not be presumptuous.”

“Simple and crude.”

Surrounded by lush, quiet trees, Xu Zhi rode the Ala behemoth slowly forward. He reached out to pluck a pink wild fruit from a branch and took a large bite. “Diarrhea or not, it doesn’t matter,” he mused. “It’s rare to come to this world, so I’ll try everything, poisonous or not… It won’t kill me anyway. I’ll start learning sorcery soon, beginning with the Spring Witch’s ‘Spring Bath’ to recover my body.”

As a food enthusiast, Xu Zhi felt as if he had discovered a new continent; the taste of this world’s species had evolved to be quite unique. “As long as I am emperor and suppress both kingdoms,” he thought, “they won’t dare to make any significant moves.”

In Xu Zhi’s view, the war launched by the orcs against humanity was simply laughable. In a lower world, using schemes, large armies, intrigues, and strategic planning to invade other nations might be acceptable. But this was already a higher extraordinary world. What use were more soldiers or armies here? Throughout history, a single individual could suppress the world. Even Medusa, in her time, went alone to the Babylonian Kingdom, standing alone in the Babylonian royal hall to suppress the entire nation.

Yet, after two hundred years of decline, they had resorted to laughable schemes, relying on sheer numbers of soldiers, converting humans into orcs, and using human-wave tactics to invade other nations. The world had fallen into mediocrity.

“They’ve strayed onto the wrong path; this is not good. Since the potion system has been established, they should have pursued a path of individual valor.”

Xu Zhi calmly bent down, pulled out a vibrant, multicolored mushroom, put it in his mouth, and slowly chewed. He murmured, “After this, individual power should flourish again. The two kingdoms should produce outstanding, peerless experts, and perhaps even the next emperor, to fully develop the Potion Era.” Perhaps, this would be the dawn of a brilliant era.

Having resolved this conflict, Xu Zhi felt much more relaxed. He rode the Ala behemoth leisurely forward. “Now that I’m in this world,” he thought, “it’s time to focus on my main task: cultivating as a sorcerer, solidifying my foundations, and becoming a thorough and complete sorcerer.” He had come to this land because the Creator was tired and wished to travel, relax, fill in his incomplete knowledge, and become a complete Tier 4 sorcerer—this was the primary reason. Otherwise, Xu Zhi would not dare to continue advancing to higher sorcerer realms; it would be like building castles in the air, too unstable.

“I’ll go to the national library and read there, filling in my knowledge of alchemy and sorcery books from Tier 1 to Tier 4.”

He rode the Ala behemoth, stretched, and advanced leisurely, as if wandering freely between heaven and earth. “And while I’m at it,” he thought, “I’ll travel around and sample some exotic cuisine from this world.”

Four days later, a mysterious cloaked figure appeared at the Vidichimia Library. The mysterious figure remained there, reading, arriving promptly at seven each morning and leaving promptly at six each evening, a routine that continued for several years.

Throughout this long history, Messiah was hailed by later generations as the most mysterious emperor. He suppressed the world but rarely appeared before people, freely wandering and traveling the world. He loved food, especially fruit and fine wine, and his footsteps were occasionally discovered. There were even popular legends that if one encountered Emperor Messiah and offered him fine wine and food, they would receive a generous gift and an extraordinary encounter, enabling them to traverse the world freely.

However, regardless of how popular history described it, official history could not be deceived. *The New Divine Calendar* recorded:

In the year 219, the Orc Kingdom launched a full-scale invasion, and the Human Kingdom was on the brink of collapse. It was then that Emperor Messiah, known as the “Emperor of Gardens and Fine Wine,” emerged, suppressed both kingdoms, and then departed gracefully.
