A vast expanse of rolling white mountains, blanketed in snow, with a continuous fall of white snowflakes from the sky.

"Let's hide underground for now!"

Wang Changsheng put away the Azure Nether Boat, and he and Wang Ruyan burrowed underground. Three days passed, with occasional Chaos Beasts flying overhead.

A mound of earth rose, and Wang Changsheng and Wang Ruyan emerged from underground, their complexions having returned to normal.

"My husband, let's not fly through the air anymore. It would be troublesome if we encountered another flying mutated Seven-Colored Chaos Beast." Wang Ruyan suggested.

Wang Changsheng nodded. The two walked towards the forest ahead, which was filled with numerous white trees and lush foliage. Along the way, they found no trace of Chaos Beasts, nor did they see any immortal herbs or fruit trees.

Three days later, they emerged deep within the forest, standing beneath a towering tree.

Wang Changsheng held a white animal hide in his hand; it was a map.

"We are currently in the Ice Snow Forest. If we head continuously east from here, we can leave the Ice Soul Snowfield." Wang Changsheng said, putting away the map, and the two walked forward.

A thunderous roar echoed, and a massive crimson fireball soared into the sky.

Wang Changsheng and Wang Ruyan were startled, quickly stopping with expressions of vigilance.

Numerous trees snapped in half, and a Seven-Colored Chaos Beast resembling a Tibetan Mastiff rushed towards them. The beast was covered in wounds and burn marks, appearing severely injured.

The Seven-Colored Chaos Beast opened its massive maw, emitting points of white light that converged into a beam of white light, which it unleashed directly at Wang Changsheng and Wang Ruyan.

"A mutated Chaos Beast!"

Wang Changsheng frowned. His right fist glowed with dazzling blue light as he unleashed a punch, while Wang Ruyan also struck with a palm.

A colossal blue fist collided with the white light beam, instantly freezing. A blue giant palm then struck, shattering the blue ice fist and disintegrating the white light beam.

The blue giant palm struck the Seven-Colored Chaos Beast. Its body trembled slightly, and a powerful wave of energy spread out, snapping many trees in half.

The sky suddenly darkened, and an enormous, entirely crimson palm appeared out of thin air, blotting out the sun. The temperature rapidly soared, melting the ice and snow and generating thick white mist.

The colossal palm descended from the sky, crushing many trees, and struck the Seven-Colored Chaos Beast.

A colossal roar erupted as the towering palm exploded, transforming an area spanning tens of thousands of miles into a sea of crimson flames. The intense heat ripped through space, incinerating countless trees.

The Seven-Colored Chaos Beast was engulfed by the surging flames, emitting agonizing roars. Its massive body trembled. Dazzling seven-colored spiritual light emanated from its body, but it proved unable to extinguish the flames covering it.

"Grand Completion Law!"

Wang Changsheng and Wang Ruyan's expressions hardened.

A whooshing sound pierced the air, and a black rainbow shot forth, instantly striking the Seven-Colored Chaos Beast. A metallic clang echoed, and the beast's body trembled.

The black rainbow was a spear, continuously flowing with black light—an intermediate-grade immortal artifact.

A mass of black energy surged above the Seven-Colored Chaos Beast, coalescing into a burly young man in black robes who radiated demonic energy. "Golden Immortal Grand Completion! A Demon!"

Wang Ruyan's expression grew even more solemn.

The black-robed youth's right fist surged with rolling black energy as he struck the black spear. The black spear pierced through the Seven-Colored Chaos Beast's body.

The Seven-Colored Chaos Beast's tail suddenly swept out, striking towards the black-robed youth.

Countless black demonic energies surged from the black-robed youth's body, instantly solidifying into a thick black armor that completely protected him.

The Seven-Colored Chaos Beast's tail struck the black armor, emitting a dull thud. Multiple cracks appeared on the armor's surface, but it returned to normal after a large amount of black demonic energy surged from it.

A black halo surged from the black-robed youth's right hand, shooting towards the Seven-Colored Chaos Beast.

"Grand Completion Law!"

The Seven-Colored Chaos Beast's body trembled, and the blood flowing from it turned black. It was not yet dead and struggled violently, but to no avail.

A red streak of light flew from afar, stopping with a flash to reveal a graceful young woman in a red dress. Her body was adorned with demonic patterns, and she exuded overwhelming demonic energy, also a member of the Demon race.

"Watch out for the Seven-Colored Chaos Beast!" Wang Ruyan warned.

The Seven-Colored Chaos Beast opened its massive maw, preparing to lunge at the black-robed youth.

The black-robed youth's right hand formed a fist and violently smashed into the Seven-Colored Chaos Beast's head.

A tragic roar sounded, and the Seven-Colored Chaos Beast's head slumped.

"Law of Strength, Body Cultivator!" Wang Changsheng said in surprise. The black-robed youth must be a True Spirit.

"Stubborn!" Luo Yuyan's right hand surged with crimson flames, which she then projected towards the Seven-Colored Chaos Beast.

A crimson giant hand flew out, precisely striking the Seven-Colored Chaos Beast's body.

The black-robed youth collected the Seven-Colored Chaos Beast's corpse, cupped his fists, and said, "My name is Taishi Qi. Thank you, fellow Daoist Wang, for your assistance." He then took out a five-colored crystal core, tossed it to Wang Changsheng, and said, "This is just a small token of my appreciation; please accept it."

"You are too kind, fellow Daoist Taishi; it was merely a small effort," Wang Changsheng politely declined.

"Since you've helped us, we are now friends. Does fellow Daoist Wang perhaps look down upon a Golden Immortal-stage five-colored Chaos Beast's crystal core?" Taishi Qi said with a frown.

"Oh, no, not at all. In that case, I will humbly accept it." Wang Changsheng accepted it.

"Fellow Daoists, do you happen to have a map of the Ice Soul Snowfield? We're lost, and our map is incomplete; this is our first time in the Ice Soul Snowfield," Taishi Qi said.

Wang Changsheng took out a white animal hide and handed it to Taishi Qi, saying, "This is a map we collected. I hope it proves helpful to fellow Daoist Taishi."

"Many thanks, fellow Daoist Wang." Taishi Qi thanked him and accepted the map.

"We have other matters to attend to, so we won't linger. Perhaps we will meet again if fate allows."

After saying this, Taishi Qi put away the Seven-Colored Chaos Beast's corpse, and he and Luo Yuyan transformed into two streaks of light and departed.
