Chapter 3766

Sixty years had passed. In the Tianchen Sea Area of the North Sea Immortal Realm, on Qinglian Peak of Qinglian Island, Wang Changsheng, Wang Ruyan, Wang Qingcheng, Sun Yuejiao, Wang Xiuling, Wang Xiulong, Wang Yangsheng, and Liu Yushuang were sitting in a stone pavilion, sipping tea and chatting.

Wang Qingshan, Wang Qingfeng, Wang Mengbin, and others were stationed on islands possessing first-tier immortal veins, each protected by a first-tier immortal formation. Wang Qingshan had acquired two mid-grade immortal artifacts: the Golden Hao Pearl and the Pingshan Seal.

The Golden Hao Pearl is a supplementary immortal artifact, capable of seeing through illusions and transformation techniques. True Immortal cultivators skilled in transformation arts would find it impossible to conceal their true forms before the Golden Hao Pearl. With the Golden Hao Pearl in hand, no True Immortal cultivator could hope to deceive Wang Changsheng with illusions.

The Pingshan Seal is a heavy-type treasure, forged primarily from Wu Yuan Crystal. Wu Yuan Crystal is a second-tier immortal material, used in the creation of mid-grade immortal artifacts, and is quite valuable. The Heavenly Beast Sect had acquired the Pingshan Seal from the Chaos Continent. A beast tide had erupted on the Chaos Continent, leading to the deaths of many Golden Immortals, and some mid-grade immortal artifacts subsequently fell into the hands of True Immortal cultivators. When the Heavenly Beast Sect obtained the Pingshan Seal, it was severely damaged, and their artifact masters were unable to repair it. Given Wang Changsheng's current artifact refining skill, he too was unable to repair the treasure. He could only store it in the family's treasure vault for now, instructing clan members to collect Wu Yuan Crystals for its future repair.

The difference between mid-grade and low-grade immortal artifacts is particularly significant; the former's price can be over a hundred times that of the latter. This is due not only to the precious materials but also to the much greater difficulty in crafting them.

The Nine Immortals Sect, the Snow Crystal Clan, and Hundred Refinements Island were jointly hosting a large-scale auction. Wang Changsheng and Wang Ruyan planned to attend, leaving Wang Qingcheng and others to guard the family estate. Before departing, Wang Changsheng asked the True Immortal cultivators in the clan to compile a list of materials they needed to collect, promising to acquire them if encountered.

"The clan is in your hands," Wang Changsheng stated solemnly. "Should anything important occur, notify us immediately using the Immortal Transmission Mirror."

"Father, Mother, please don't worry!" Wang Qingcheng assured, patting his chest. "We will heighten our vigilance."

Wang Changsheng summoned the Jadeite Boat, stepped aboard, and Wang Ruyan and the others followed. Wang Xiulong and three others had recently advanced to the early True Immortal stage. Wang Changsheng and Wang Ruyan decided to bring them to this large-scale auction. They felt reassured leaving powerful senior True Immortals like Wang Qingshan to guard the family. However, newly ascended True Immortals like Wang Xiulong were not yet strong and required more experience. High-level cultivators often brought their younger generation to large-scale auctions or grand ceremonies to broaden their horizons, pave the way for their future, and allow them to connect with elites from other forces.

Wang Changsheng performed a hand seal. The Jadeite Boat glowed with dazzling green light, transforming into a green rainbow that soared into the sky and quickly vanished from sight.

Seven days later, they arrived at a boundless golden sea area. As dusk fell, the sky was painted crimson with the setting sun. A streak of green light, moving exceptionally fast, appeared on the distant horizon. Before long, the green light halted, revealing the Jadeite Boat with Wang Changsheng and five others standing upon it.

"Is this Lihuo Island?" Wang Xiulong murmured to herself.

Following her gaze, they could see a vast, crimson island. From high above, it resembled a mass of burning flames floating on the sea. Lihuo Island is one of Hundred Refinements Island's three major market cities in the Tianchen Sea Area. Many immortal artifact masters gather here, and there are numerous weapon shops. Many True Immortal cultivators visit to purchase or commission immortal artifacts. While the prices are naturally higher, the superior quality makes them worth the cost. On the island stood a massive red city. Above its gate hung a golden plaque inscribed with the four large red characters: "Lihuo Market City."

A loud beast roar rang out, reaching their ears. Wang Changsheng and the others looked towards the source of the sound. A red light appeared on the distant horizon and soon came to a halt. A four-sided beast carriage, glowing with continuous red light, floated high in the sky. It was pulled by four crimson horses, whose bodies were covered in red manes. Each horse had a golden horn on its head, constantly exhaled hot air from its nostrils, and had hooves enveloped in crimson flames, presenting an imposing sight.

Seven men and two women stood inside the beast carriage. Leading them was a graceful red-robed Daoist nun, wearing a lotus crown, with a vivid red cinnabar mark on her brow, and a long sword on her back. The red-robed Daoist nun had eyebrows like emerald feathers, skin like mutton-fat jade, and an aura as vast as the ocean.

"Juniors pay respects to Senior Qi," Wang Changsheng and the five others quickly bowed respectfully.

The red-robed Daoist nun was Qi Shuting, a Golden Immortal cultivator from the Qi family.

"You must be True Immortal Taihao!" a tall, white-robed young man said with a smile. "I've heard of you for a long time; it's an honor to finally meet you in person."

The white-robed young man had handsome features, fair skin, and a white jade Ruyi scepter hanging from his waist. Judging by his aura, he was clearly a late True Immortal cultivator.

"Fellow Daoist Qi, you flatter me," Wang Changsheng replied politely. "I've long heard of your great reputation; I didn't expect to meet you here."

The white-robed young man was Qi Hongfeng, a core disciple of the Qi family. The Dark Hall had collected his portrait and intelligence, noting that he had slain multiple late True Immortal cultivators and possessed formidable strength.

"Let's skip the pleasantries," a purple-skirted girl, wearing a purple hairpin, interjected. "Fellow Daoist Wang, if there's an opportunity another day, let's spar. Tens of thousands of years ago, mid-True Immortal cultivators were no match for you; now that you've advanced to the mid-True Immortal stage, your strength must be even greater."

The purple-skirted girl had her hair styled in a high bun, exquisite makeup, a graceful figure, and was alluringly beautiful. She was Qi Hongyan, a late True Immortal and a core disciple of the Qi family. Wang Changsheng's feat of slaying a True Immortal from the Heavenly Ghost Gate was no secret, and Qi Hongyan was also aware of it.

"If there's an opportunity another day, we will certainly seek guidance from Immortal Qi," Wang Changsheng replied politely.

Qi Shuting merely glanced at Wang Changsheng and the five others, saying nothing, as a mere mid-True Immortal cultivator was not worth much attention to her. She performed a hand seal, and the four crimson horses pulled the red beast carriage towards Lihuo Island with great speed. Before long, the red beast carriage landed on Lihuo Island, carrying them into the city.

Wang Changsheng steered the Jadeite Boat to land on Lihuo Island. The six disembarked, put away the Jadeite Boat, and walked into the market city. The streets were wide and clean, bustling with people, and extremely lively. Many True Immortal cultivators could be seen, and shop assistants from various stores stood at their entrances, diligently calling out to attract customers.

Wang Changsheng and the five others dispersed into three pairs, strolling through the market city and incidentally collecting cultivation resources. The shops lining both sides of the street were predominantly red. There were many weapon shops where numerous immortal artifacts could be seen, available for direct purchase or custom order. One could also provide their own materials and request an immortal artifact master to refine them.

"Fellow Daoist Wang, long time no see!" a familiar male voice called out. Wang Changsheng looked towards the source of the sound and saw Revered Golden Silkworm walking towards him with a wide smile on his face.
