Chapter 3596: Xuanyuan's Remaining Treasure Blood Chi Blade

In a secluded white manor, Ye Xuanji, Ye Yulong, Luo Feng, and Su Jianjia were seated in a white stone pavilion, sipping tea and chatting.

Luo Feng and Su Jianjia were not familiar with Ye Xuanji. This was understandable, as Ye Xuanji had left the Ye family many years ago, and at that time, she was only a Body Integration cultivator, not significant enough to capture their attention.

However, Ye Xuanji's leadership in repelling the attack by Tong Shan and others had certainly impressed Luo Feng and Su Jianjia.

"Fellow Daoist Luo, Immortal Su," Ye Xuanji stated deeply, "your Nine-Essence Merchant Alliance has extensive connections. I need a batch of materials; please name your price."

Ye Yulong understood implicitly. He took out two white jade slips and handed them to Luo Feng and Su Jianjia.

Their spiritual senses swept over the slips, and both simultaneously showed expressions of surprise. The materials Ye Xuanji requested were numerous, mostly for artifact refining.

"Most of the materials are fine," Luo Feng said honestly, "but we don't have a small portion of them." He admitted that he hadn't even heard of some of the materials, which wasn't due to his lack of knowledge. The cultivation world was vast, and it was impossible for even a Mahayana cultivator to recognize every single material. Some materials were unique to specific realms and rarely seen elsewhere.

"I know your Nine-Essence Merchant Alliance conducts business with several cross-realm merchant alliances," Ye Xuanji said sincerely. "You can contact them. Price is negotiable."

The Ye family's vitality was severely depleted. They still had two Spirit Crossing Treasure Ships, but only four Mahayana cultivators remained. With the Tang Clan as a formidable enemy, any Mahayana cultivator from the Ye family who ventured to other realms to procure cultivation resources would likely be ambushed.

The Nine-Essence Merchant Alliance was a commercial organization that did not participate in the conflicts between major powers, thus operating as a neutral force. If the Nine-Essence Merchant Alliance took charge of gathering cultivation resources and then selling them to the Ye family, it would save time and reduce risks.

The Eastern Xuan Continent Realm Cluster contained many realms, and the Nine-Essence Merchant Alliance was not the only cross-realm merchant alliance. These alliances also conducted business with each other.

Luo Feng nodded and said, "We will do our best to try! If we acquire them, we will contact you."

"It's a deal," Ye Xuanji said, raising her teacup. Luo Feng and Su Jianjia also raised theirs. The four teacups clinked together, and all four individuals drank the contents of their cups.

After chatting for more than half an hour, Luo Feng and Su Jianjia took their leave.

"I plan to enter seclusion to refine several important treasures," Ye Xuanji instructed. "During this time, activate most of the restrictions of the clan-protecting formation to strictly prevent enemy interference. You all will be responsible for hosting the fellow Daoists who remain in the Ice Soul Mountain Range." The Ye family had acquired a Xuantian artifact from the Xuanqing Sect, which she intended to use to forge a Xuantian Treasure. The materials for it had long since been fully gathered.

Ye Xuanfeng had originally intended to wait for Ye Xuanji to return from the Underworld so they could jointly refine the Xuantian Treasure. Who would have thought that so many events would transpire after Ye Xuanji went to the Underworld, leading to Ye Xuanfeng's demise?

"I privately asked Fellow Daoist Wang," Ye Yulong began, "they intend to return to the Xuanling Continent."

"Lend them a Spirit Crossing Treasure Ship to return," Ye Xuanji instructed. "They can return it to us when they visit again in the future. At that time, send some clansmen with them to the Xuanling Continent to avoid trouble. Don't put all your eggs in one basket." She valued the Wang family's strength. The Wang family, despite being low-key, had surprisingly produced so many Mahayana cultivators. She speculated they had obtained many Mahayana spiritual items in the Immortal Realm fragments, or perhaps even the legacy of a Mahayana cultivator, including secret talismans or treasures capable of restraining extraterrestrial demons, which allowed them to have so many Mahayana cultivators.

"Yes, Ancestor Xuanji," Ye Yulong readily agreed.

After giving a few instructions, Ye Xuanji walked towards a nearby green pavilion, and Ye Yulong also withdrew.

Six months later, Wang Qingshan and the other three bid farewell to the Ye family. The Ye family lent them a Spirit Crossing Treasure Ship, and incidentally, a group of Ye family disciples accompanied them to the Xuanling Continent.

Xuanling Continent, Green Lotus Island. In a certain secret chamber, Wang Changsheng sat cross-legged on a green futon, his gaze fixed on the Green Lotus Creation Cauldron not far away.

A cluster of snow-blue flames flickered at the bottom of the Green Lotus Creation Cauldron, keeping the chamber's temperature low.

After consuming the Purple Jade Soul Restoring Fruit, Wang Changsheng's spirit quickly recovered, truly living up to its reputation as one of the Ten Great Marvelous Fruits. Once his injuries had healed, Wang Changsheng resumed refining treasures.

Inside the cauldron was the wooden staff formed from the Xuantian Blood Vine. Wang Changsheng was attempting to refine a treasure from it. Time passed slowly as Wang Changsheng concentrated fully, using his spiritual sense to observe the situation inside the cauldron.

Seven days later, Wang Changsheng changed his incantation, casting a spell. The cauldron lid flew open, and a blood-red long saber shot out, hovering in mid-air. A miniature *chilong* was engraved on its blade, exuding astonishing spiritual energy.

Wang Changsheng let out a sigh of relief, his face showing delight.

"It's finally refined," Wang Changsheng murmured to himself.

It was the Xuantian Incomplete Treasure, the Blood Chilong Saber. He hadn't expected to refine a full Xuantian Treasure on his first attempt; if Xuantian Treasures were that easy to refine, major clans would possess more than just one.

Refining a Xuantian Incomplete Treasure on his first attempt using a Xuantian artifact was already quite good. With increased refinement attempts, he believed he would eventually be able to forge a complete Xuantian Treasure.

The Xuantian Immortal Vine still had five gourds. Even if only one remained in the end, he could still attempt refining once more.

With a single-hand gesture, the Blood Chilong Saber flew into Wang Changsheng's hand.

The Blood Chilong Saber trembled slightly, seemingly trying to break free from Wang Changsheng's grasp, showing remarkable sentience.

Wang Changsheng frowned. He felt an inexplicable agitation, a surge of wild killing intent rising in his mind, and his qi and blood churned within him.

He quickly released the Blood Chilong Saber, and only then did he return to normal.

"I truly don't know if I should have refined you," Wang Changsheng said with a frown. The Blood Chilong Saber had been primarily refined from the fruit of the Xuantian Blood Vine, and he hadn't expected it to possess a certain ferocity.

He put away the Blood Chilong Saber, walked out, and entered another secret chamber where the Ten Thousand Spirits Diagram hung on the wall.

Wang Changsheng now possessed three spatial treasures: the Cangyuan Pearl, the Ten Thousand Spirits Diagram, and the Ten Thousand Souls Banner. The Cangyuan Pearl, obtained from Luo Xiao, was a top-grade Connecting Heaven Spiritual Treasure.

The Cangyuan Pearl contained numerous precious spiritual plants, including the Nine-Turn Exquisite Fruit tree, which had already borne fruit, though it wasn't yet ripe. Besides the Nine-Turn Exquisite Fruit, there were various other rare spiritual plants that could greatly bolster the Wang family's foundation. All the formerly residing Yaksha cultivators within the Cangyuan Pearl had been annihilated. These Yaksha were core members of their clan and would certainly not have served the Wang family loyally. Keeping them would have been a hidden danger; eliminating them was the better option.

A brilliant blue light erupted from Wang Changsheng's body, and he entered the Ten Thousand Spirits Diagram.

He arrived at the small courtyard where the Xuantian Immortal Vine resided. The vine still bore five gourds, which made Wang Changsheng sigh in relief; he had worried that some gourds might be missing.

Wang Changsheng exited the Ten Thousand Spirits Diagram, walked out of the pavilion, took out a green communication disk, cast an incantation into it, and asked, "Yongqian, have Qingshan and the others returned?"

"They contacted us a while ago," Wang Yongqian replied truthfully, "saying they had set sail to return to the Xuanling Continent. The Ye family lent them a Spirit Crossing Treasure Ship."
