Chapter 3515: Millennia, Arriving at the Boundless Sea

Qianling Continent, Qinglin Valley.

In a secluded small courtyard with blue tiles, Wang Xiangrong, Wang Yixin, Wang Chuanming, and Wang Zongyun were sitting in a blue stone pavilion, conversing.

Both Wang Chuanming and Wang Xiangrong were at the late Integration Stage, and both had consumed the Ephemeral Origin Fruit. Without it, they wouldn't have advanced to the late Integration Stage so quickly.

"I plan to enter seclusion for a period to cultivate and strive for the Grand Perfection of the Integration Stage," Wang Xiangrong stated gravely.

"Please cultivate with peace of mind! With us here, nothing will go wrong," Wang Yixin said confidently.

The appearance of Xuanhuo Sanren, a Mahayana cultivator, among the human race on Qianling Continent had significantly improved things compared to before.

The Wang family had over a thousand members on Qianling Continent, including eight Integration Stage cultivators and over forty Void Refinement Stage cultivators. They didn't occupy any territory, focusing primarily on business, trading in items like puppet beasts, elixirs, talismans, and spirit wines, with puppet beasts being particularly popular.

Before Wang Qingshan left Qianling Continent, he specifically visited several major human forces there. Knowing that the Wang family had a Mahayana cultivator backing them and that they merely conducted business, these major forces were very welcoming, with some even forming marital alliances with the Wang family. Family members sold goods and acquired unique cultivation resources from Qianling Continent, which were then transported back to Xuanling Continent.

Wang Xiangrong nodded, about to speak, when a sound transmission talisman flew in. Wang Chuanming grabbed and crushed it, and a familiar female voice announced, "Ancestor, we're back."

"Ruyi! They're back!" Wang Yixin exclaimed. She quickly walked out, opened the courtyard gate, and found Buzizai, Wang Ruyi, and Long Qingfeng standing at the entrance.

Over the years, they had been stranded in foreign territories, surviving by hunting demonic beasts. Sometimes, to compete for cultivation resources, they engaged in conflicts with foreign cultivators, and as a result, they had all advanced to the mid Integration Stage. Members of the Nine-Origin Merchant Alliance found them, and Su Xiangdong dispatched Buzizai to escort them back to Qinglin Valley.

"This is Fellow Daoist Bu from the Nine-Origin Merchant Alliance. Senior Su sent them to escort us back," Wang Ruyi introduced, pointing to Buzizai.

"Thank you for the trouble, Fellow Daoist Bu. This is a small token of my appreciation, nothing more," Wang Yixin said, taking out a green storage ring and handing it to Buzizai.

"Lady Wang is too kind. I was merely following orders and cannot accept your gift, lest Elder Su blame me," Buzizai politely declined.

"Another day, when we have time, we will surely visit your esteemed residence. Thank you, Fellow Daoist Bu. Please convey our gratitude to Senior Su on our behalf," Wang Xiangrong said, walking over and cupping his fists.

"No problem. I have urgent matters to attend to, so I won't stay long. Farewell," Buzizai said, bowing and leaving.

Long Qingfeng and Wang Ruyi walked in, and Wang Yixin closed the courtyard gate.

"Ruyi, Qingfeng, where have you been all these years?" Wang Xiangrong asked.

Wang Ruyi didn't hide anything and recounted their experiences over the years.

"It's good that you're back. Ancestor thought something had happened to you. He'll surely be delighted to know you've returned safely," Wang Chuanming said with a smile.

"Oh, and by the way, we obtained a classic text that introduces many immortal-realm characters," Wang Ruyi said, taking out a thick blue book and handing it to Wang Xiangrong.

"'A Comprehensive Guide to Immortal Characters!'" Wang Xiangrong exclaimed. He flipped through a few pages, his face showing delight. Wang Changsheng had repeatedly instructed them to look out for classics introducing immortal-realm characters, and while they had always kept an eye out, they hadn't found anything until now. He hadn't expected Wang Ruyi to bring back "A Comprehensive Guide to Immortal Characters," which was truly excellent.

"It's good that you're back. Cultivate here in Qinglin Valley! When the Ice Lion arrives at Qianling Continent, you can take it back. Our family now has three Mahayana cultivators," Wang Xiangrong said with a smile. He was unaware that Wang Mengbin had also advanced to the Mahayana Stage.

"Three Mahayana cultivators? Has Ancestor also advanced to the Mahayana Stage?" Wang Ruyi asked, surprised, as she only knew Wang Changsheng and Wang Qingshan had reached the Mahayana Stage, information she had received from Buzizai.

"Yes, yes," Wang Yixin said, her face beaming with pride. "Our family is strong and formidable now. Ancestor annihilated the Fiery Essence Race, making our family the foremost cultivation family on Xuanling Continent."

Wang Ruyi and Long Qingfeng's faces lit up with joy upon hearing this.

After chatting for about the time it takes to brew a cup of tea, they went to rest. Wang Xiangrong entered a secret chamber, sat cross-legged on a blue futon, and began cultivating.

Soon after, a green aura of light appeared out of nowhere, enveloping his entire body, and Wang Xiangrong closed his eyes.

Time flew by; over a thousand years passed.

A vast blue sea, with gentle sea breezes and a cloudless sky.

A silver light appeared high in the sky. Shortly after, it stopped, revealing a gigantic silver ship over a hundred zhang long, with a thirty-six-story silver pagoda on its deck.

Wang Mengbin and dozens of other Wang family cultivators stood on the deck, their expressions solemn. They had been away from Xuanling Continent for over a thousand years and had finally arrived. Wang Mengbin personally piloted the Cross-Sea Thunderboat, flying at full speed, which was why they reached their destination so quickly. The Xuanqing (Mysterious Green) back then had made stops, otherwise, it wouldn't have taken a thousand years to return to Xuanling Continent.

"Yingjie, Hongxue, take some family members to scout ahead and see where the Thunder Domain is," Wang Mengbin instructed. He only remembered appearing here originally, but how to get back was a problem. He had used a random teleportation array out of necessity back then, but naturally couldn't do so now.

Wang Yingjie and Liu Hongxue acknowledged the order and departed with over ten Void Refinement Stage cultivators, fanning out to search for the Thunder Domain.

A day later, Wang Yingjie and the others returned.

"To the southwest, there's a sea area with a greater concentration of lightning power," Wang Yingjie reported.

Wang Mengbin nodded, formed a hand seal, and the Cross-Sea Thunderboat's spiritual light surged as it flew towards the northwest.

In less than half an hour, a black sea area appeared before Wang Mengbin, filled with flashes of lightning and thunder. Thick black bolts of lightning struck down from the sky.

"This should be it! If not, we'll turn back," Wang Mengbin said gravely. His hand seals changed, and blinding spiritual light emanated from the Cross-Sea Thunderboat. A dazzling silver light barrier appeared out of thin air, enveloping the entire vessel. The surface of the silver barrier was covered with numerous lightning patterns and many profound silver runes.

The moment the Cross-Sea Thunderboat entered the black sea area, a black lightning bolt immediately struck down from the sky, landing on the silver barrier. The silver barrier remained motionless, and the black lightning vanished.

As time passed, the Cross-Sea Thunderboat ventured deeper into the black sea area. More and more black lightning bolts struck down, but they had little effect. After less than half a month, the Cross-Sea Thunderboat had still not left this sea area. The seawater and sky were both murky gray, exuding a powerful sense of oppression.

Wang Mengbin frowned, changed his hand seals, and the Cross-Sea Thunderboat's speed significantly increased.

After about the time it takes to brew a cup of tea, the Cross-Sea Thunderboat left the black sea area, appearing above a vast blue ocean bathed in bright sunlight, with a clear sky for thousands of miles.

"Have we left?" Wang Mengbin murmured to himself, his tone uncertain.

Wang Mengbin piloted the Cross-Sea Thunderboat forward. Seven days later, the vessel appeared above an island approximately a hundred miles in circumference. The island had sparse vegetation, with higher terrain in the south and lower in the north, and a lake spanning over a hundred mu in its center.

"We've reached Canghai. We've been here before," Bai Yuqi said, her face lighting up with joy.
