Chapter 3427: Opening Success

A vast and boundless bamboo forest stretched before them. A yellow spider puppet slowly moved forward, carrying Wang Changsheng and his companions on its back.

On the ground lay over a dozen lifeless red spiders, either cleaved in half or decapitated. Wang Shenfeng and others were busy clearing the battlefield.

Wang Changsheng held a piece of azure beast hide in his hand, bearing the words "Xuanling."

Wang Rumeng and her companions had obtained a map of the cultivation ground from the Myriad Spirit Ruins. Earlier, Wang Ruyan had found another map from Loose Immortal Feilong's meditation cave. They had stitched the two maps together, but there were no overlapping areas between them.

Along their journey, they encountered numerous seventh-tier demonic beasts. These creatures, naturally no match for them, were all slain.

Wang Yong'an held a piece of azure beast hide, meticulously drawing a map. He was tasked with recording their route, intending for it to become a valuable resource. This way, if clan members ever had the chance to enter the cultivation ground for treasure hunting, the map might prove useful.

"There are simply too many seventh-tier demonic beasts here! Is a Grand Ascension cultivator's cultivation ground truly this vast?" Wang Yingjie questioned, looking puzzled.

He found it incredible when he learned that the cultivation ground was even larger than the Thousand Spirit Continent.

"Xuanling Heavenly Venerate is no ordinary Grand Ascension cultivator, so it's not surprising that his cultivation ground is so vast," Wang Qingfeng analyzed. "Perhaps it's not even his original cultivation ground, but an unknown minor realm that he transformed into one."

There had been many controversies surrounding Xuanling Heavenly Venerate's cultivation ground. After all these years, countless Grand Ascension cultivators had entered it to seek treasures, yet not a single one had found the control hub to completely master it.

Each time the cultivation ground appeared, a vast number of cultivators would enter to seek treasures. Some acquired cultivation techniques, others high-grade Spirit Treasures, and some even fragments of Xuantian treasures – the supply seemed inexhaustible.

After disposing of the demonic beast corpses, Wang Shenfeng and his companions returned to the spider puppet's back.

Wang Qingfeng chanted an incantation, and the spider puppet began to move forward. Wang Shenfeng and the others conjured their treasures to clear a path, cutting down the obstructing bamboo.

After a little over half a day, they exited the bamboo forest. A desolate plain stretched before them, where not a blade of grass grew, and two massive demonic beast skeletons were visible.

Wang Guangming conjured two azure wolf puppets, which were second-tier puppet beasts specifically designed for scouting. They had brought a large number of low-tier puppet beasts for this purpose, feeling no regret even if all of them were destroyed.

The two azure wolf puppets charged into the plain. Before they had gone far, two towering grey hurricanes, hundreds of zhang high, suddenly swept across the plain. They instantly reached the puppets, and powerful currents propelled them into the maelstrom, shredding them to pieces before the hurricanes dissipated.

Wang Ruyan activated her Lihuo True Eyes but detected no spatial cracks.

Wang Guangming conjured dozens of bee puppets, which lined up in a row and flew towards the plain.

Soon, dozens of hazy grey hurricanes appeared on the plain, heading directly for them.

Wang Changsheng conjured the Wind-Stabilizing Bead. It flew above the bee puppets, spun, and released a large expanse of azure light that enveloped them.

As soon as the grey hurricanes touched the azure light, they dissipated completely, as if encountering their nemesis.

Grey hurricanes continuously appeared, only to dissipate completely upon touching the azure light.

The Wind-Stabilizing Bead was refined from Wind-Stabilizing Stone. It specifically countered wind-attribute divine abilities and was also effective against wind-attribute restrictions.

Wang Changsheng retrieved the Wind-Stabilizing Bead, and Wang Guangming recalled the bee puppet beasts.

The Wind-Stabilizing Bead floated above Wang Changsheng and his group, casting a swath of azure radiance that covered a hundred-zhang radius, encompassing even the spider puppet. The spider puppet then moved towards the plain.

As soon as it entered the plain, hazy grey hurricanes immediately appeared, heading directly for them. However, upon touching the azure radiance, the grey hurricanes all dissipated.

Wang Changsheng's divine sense was fully activated, and his expression was solemn.

Since Xuanling Heavenly Venerate's cultivation ground had appeared, many Grand Ascension cultivators had perished within it, so he dared not be careless.

Two days later, they crossed the plain, and a continuous range of verdant mountains appeared before them.

Wang Tun Tian's eyes brightened considerably, and he sniffed lightly a few times.

"About one hundred thousand li to the east, there are a few Heavenly Soul Nether Lotuses," Wang Tun Tian said, pointing to the east. "I haven't detected any demonic beasts, but their concealment technique is quite powerful, so I can't pinpoint their exact location."

His eyes could see a great distance. However, there was still a significant gap compared to the Lihuo True Eyes. The Lihuo True Eyes could not only locate formation cores and spatial cracks but also attack enemies, whereas Wang Tun Tian's eyes were solely for treasure hunting.

In certain forbidden areas or cultivation grounds where their divine sense was restricted, Wang Tun Tian's eyes proved to be exceptionally useful.

Wang Qingfeng chanted an incantation, and the spider puppet beast accelerated, dashing towards the east.

Along the way, they encountered a few seventh-tier demonic beasts, which Wang Yidao swiftly dealt with.

The spider puppet beast stopped outside a narrow, long valley. Not a blade of grass grew inside the valley, giving it a somewhat desolate appearance.

Wang Ruyan activated her Lihuo True Eyes and said, "There are two seventh-tier Five-Colored Lizards on the rock wall near the Heavenly Soul Nether Lotuses."

"Lizards!" Wang Yidao frowned and declared, "I'll go."

His parents had died at the hands of the Lizard Race, and he utterly detested these creatures.

"Yushuang, Wang Yibing, Wang Zongyun, the three of you go with Yidao," Wang Ruyan instructed. "Be careful; they might be mutated demonic beasts, so don't be careless."

This was an opportunity for the clan members to hone their skills and a form of valuable training.

The four of them, including Wang Yidao, acknowledged the order. After casting defensive spells on themselves, they flew into the valley.

Wang Tun Tian's eyes brightened considerably as he gazed into the distance, continuing his search for spirit herbs.

A series of rumbling explosions echoed, and the ground shook slightly. The rock wall on the right side of the valley split in two, and a golden blade aura swept out, faintly mixed with the sound of thunder, as dust billowed.

"About three hundred thousand li to the northeast, there are over a dozen Blood Ganoderma Grasses. The oldest one is seventy thousand years old, and they are guarded by two Lion-Tiger Beasts," Wang Tun Tian telepathically informed Wang Ruyan, pointing to the northeast. He refrained from openly mentioning spirit herbs of such advanced age when outsiders like Lan Fookong were present.

Wang Ruyan nodded discreetly, acknowledging that seventy-thousand-year-old Blood Ganoderma Grass would be perfectly fine for refining eighth-tier pills.

With Wang Tun Tian's unique abilities, they avoided many detours and could precisely locate spirit herbs.

The four, including Wang Yidao, emerged. Wang Zongyun and the other two wore joyful expressions, having dealt with two mid-grade seventh-tier Five-Colored Lizards and found four Heavenly Soul Nether Lotuses. The youngest of these lotuses was over thirty thousand years old, while the oldest exceeded fifty thousand years.

They returned to the back of the spider puppet beast, which then dashed northeast at a high speed.
