The black ice shards landed on the bluestone steps, causing them to instantly freeze over with a black ice layer.

"What is this? I've never seen anything like it before," Snake Empress said, utterly bewildered. "There's so much of it here. Could someone have been here already?"

"We'll know once we break the restriction," Yuan Shou commanded. "Activate your Dharma Idols to break the array! Let's finish this quickly." He formed a hand seal, and ripples spread above his head as a gigantic ape Dharma Idol appeared out of thin air. The ape Dharma Idol moved its arms, smashing towards the blue light barrier.

Snake Empress formed a hand seal, and a massive green python phantom appeared above her head. A small portion of its body was solid, while the larger part was ethereal.

The green python spat out a misty green light, which struck the blue light barrier, causing a plume of green smoke to rise.

Boom!

After a huge roar, the blue light barrier shattered. A massive cave appeared before them, and a gigantic tortoise shell came into view.

They fully extended their divine sense, carefully investigating the entire cave, fearing an ambush. However, they did not discover any abnormalities.
