A muffled thud came from the shark puppet beast’s belly. A gap, several *zhang* wide, appeared, and Wang Changsheng and Wang Ruyan flew out.

In the distance lay a patch of colorful coral, and the seabed was uneven.

A beautiful young woman in a blue dress responded, taking out a shimmering golden hand mirror. The back of the mirror was carved with a golden shark pattern, and its astonishing spiritual energy clearly marked it as a low-grade Heaven-Reaching Spirit Treasure.

She directed the mirror around. After countless mysterious runes lit up on its surface, a hazy golden glow swept outward, enveloping the surroundings.

She probed the entire sea area within a ten-thousand-*li* radius and found no abnormalities. However, the mirror soon pointed toward the seabed, and the golden glow enveloped the depths. The seabed seemed to vanish, revealing a clear view of what lay beneath.

With that, the Blood Sharks beneath the four of them moved away, and soon vanished into the vast ocean.

“Let’s go! We should head back now.” The blood-robed old man waved his long sleeve, leading his companions back to the mineral vein.
