Chapter 1921: Seeking Treasure Expert Huang Fugui, Tianxu Jade Book

A vast, boundless black sea stretched out, its surface periodically swept by fierce gales that stirred up black waves dozens of feet high. The sky was gray, creating an oppressive atmosphere.

There was a small island, approximately a hundred miles in circumference, with sparse vegetation. In its eastern part, a dozen or so hills of varying heights were scattered.

On the mountaintop stood a pockmarked man in a yellow robe. This plump man, with a lecherous expression and yellow teeth, was none other than Huang Fugui.

While treasure hunting in the Thousand Gourd Realm, Huang Fugui unexpectedly encountered a realm teleportation array, which by a strange twist of fate brought him to the Sky Sea Realm.

The Sky Sea Realm was similar to the South Sea Realm, but unlike the South Sea, it had no large landmasses; only islands dotted the vast ocean.

As Huang Fugui had no other skills, he returned to his old profession after arriving in the Sky Sea Realm, exploring dangerous areas to hunt for treasures.

His luck was incredibly good; he acquired two spirit treasures, and every cultivator who partnered with him in treasure hunting also profited. He became a renowned treasure hunter in the East Sea Cultivation World, and his name is now known by virtually everyone there.

If he didn't dislike trouble, he could certainly establish his own influential force by founding a sect.

"Heh heh," Huang Fugui chuckled, his face beaming with smug satisfaction. "Fairy Cailian once told me not to venture into the sea, but after arriving in the Sky Sea Realm, I've been doing exceptionally well. This time, I even managed to discover Fairy Feiyue's meditation cave. Perhaps I can use this opportunity to advance to the Spirit Transformation stage. It seems even diviners' predictions can be wrong."

A streak of white light appeared on the distant horizon, flying rapidly towards his location.

Soon, the white light stopped, revealing itself as a flying shuttle shimmering with erratic white light. Three women and two men stood on it. Leading them was a middle-aged woman in a white ruqun dress. Her skin was as smooth as jade, her lips like cherries, her nose exquisite, and her ample bosom seemed on the verge of bursting through her dress.

"Madam Bai, you've finally arrived," Huang Fugui said, his face filled with fawning flattery, completely unbothered by the gazes of the other Nascent Soul cultivators.

This was Bai Yaoyao, Vice Palace Master of Xuanyu Palace, and a cultivator at the Late Nascent Soul stage.

Huang Fugui couldn't open the restriction alone and needed assistance. If he invited Nascent Soul cultivators who were too weak, they wouldn't be helpful and would simply take advantage. If they were too strong, he worried they might kill him and seize his treasures. After much deliberation, he decided to invite Nascent Soul cultivators from the two major East Sea sects, Xuanyu Palace and Taiyang Sect, to hunt for treasures, ensuring mutual deterrence.

"Fellow Daoist Huang, have the people from Taiyang Sect not arrived yet?" Bai Yaoyao asked. "Perhaps we don't need to wait for them! When we get the treasures, your share will be guaranteed; you have my word."

Bai Yaoyao's tone was sincere. Huang Fugui's escape speed was too fast for her to use force, and she would have preferred not to hunt for treasures with Taiyang Sect.

"Madam Bai, you jest," Huang Fugui said with a forced smile. "This Huang still knows how to uphold integrity and faithfulness. Let's wait until Fellow Daoist Li from Taiyang Sect arrives before we proceed!" He would be insane to go treasure hunting with Xuanyu Palace cultivators alone; without any checks and balances, there was no telling if they might kill him and seize his treasures.

"Well said. Everyone says Fellow Daoist Huang is a man of integrity, and this old man completely agrees," a resonant male voice declared from the sky as a streak of green light appeared on the distant horizon.

Soon, the green light stopped, revealing a gleaming green flying boat. Three men and two women stood on it, led by a refined-looking elderly man in a green robe.

This was Li Zong, Vice Sect Master of Taiyang Sect, also at the Late Nascent Soul stage.

"Fellow Daoist Li, you've finally arrived," Huang Fugui said with a warm smile.

Li Zong nodded, then looked at Bai Yaoyao without speaking.

"Since everyone is here, let's depart!" Huang Fugui declared. After saying this, he transformed into a streak of light and flew towards the distant horizon. Bai Yaoyao and Li Zong quickly urged their flying artifacts to follow.

Three days later, they found themselves enveloped in a thick black mist, with the seawater itself appearing black.

Hundreds of feet ahead, a faint, elusive island emerged from the mist; only parts of it were visible through the thick black fog.

This was Immortal Fall Island, a renowned dangerous place in the East Sea Cultivation World and an ancient battlefield, riddled with numerous restrictions and hidden dangers. Even the patriarch of Taiyang Sect had suffered losses here.

"Everyone, be careful; there might be fifth-tier demonic beasts on the island," Huang Fugui warned, then slowly flew towards the island.

Li Zong and Bai Yaoyao exchanged a glance, then followed in silence.

Soon after, they landed on the beach. Before them lay a vast, boundless black forest filled with towering ancient trees. The thick black mist obscured much of the sunlight, making Immortal Fall Island appear gloomy.

Huang Fugui and the others each cast several defensive spells on themselves and strode into the dense forest ahead. They quickly disappeared into the dense forest.

Thousand Gourd Realm, Zhongyang Market.

In a quiet courtyard, small flowerbeds filled with exotic flowers and rare herbs flanked both sides. A bluestone staircase in the center of the courtyard led directly to a bluestone pavilion.

Wang Mengbin sat on a stone stool, with Cheng Zhenyu and Zheng Nan standing to his side. Opposite him stood Deng Yujiao and five other Nascent Soul cultivators.

"Fellow Daoist Wang," Deng Yujiao began, "this is what my grandfather promised you. Now you can release him, right?" She took out a crystal-clear jade box, flickering with spiritual light, and a blue porcelain bottle, pushing them forward to Wang Mengbin.

Countless silver electric arcs surged from Wang Mengbin's palm, and a thick silver lightning bolt struck the jade box.

*Boom!*

Following a loud bang, the jade box shattered into pieces, and a shimmering silver jade page floated down. It was covered with enigmatic characters that twisted and changed shape as if alive.

Wang Mengbin opened his mouth, and two foot-long purple lightning arrows shot out, striking the silver page.

With two dull thuds, the purple lightning arrows vanished, yet the silver page remained completely undamaged.

A flicker of surprise passed through Wang Mengbin's eyes, and his heart was filled with joy. Even his Purple Empyrean True Thunder couldn't harm it in the slightest; if it didn't originate from the Immortal Realm, it was certainly no ordinary item.

According to the Deng family's Old Ancestor, due to certain special reasons, the Heavenly Void Jade Scroll might appear in the lower realms. The Deng family had obtained the Heavenly Void Jade Scroll, which was precisely why they so eagerly sought to contact their ancestors in the Spirit Realm.

He opened the blue porcelain bottle and poured out a light purple pill, whose surface bore nine golden spiritual patterns. He carefully inspected the pill, confirming it was fine. Then, he took out Deng Yunbo's Nascent Soul from his sleeve and removed the restriction.

"Fellow Daoist Wang, I've given you what you wanted," Deng Yunbo said urgently, his eyes full of anticipation. "Now, where is what I wanted?"

"Fellow Daoist Deng," Wang Mengbin stated gravely, "you haven't yet had your clansmen swear a blood oath not to trouble us."

Deng Yujiao and the others frowned. However, with Deng Yunbo's Nascent Soul in the opponent's hands, they dared not object. Should Wang Mengbin and his two companions break their word, they would try to keep them, even if it meant risking a demonic backlash from their own oath. They swore a heart demon oath in front of him, vowing not to seek revenge on Wang Mengbin and his two companions.

Wang Mengbin took out a green storage bag and tossed it to Deng Yujiao.

Deng Yujiao swept her divine sense over it, and her eyes lit up. She then took out a fist-sized piece of Golden Halo Divine Crystal ore from the storage bag and handed it to Deng Yunbo for identification.

"That's right, it's Golden Halo Divine Crystal! Excellent!" Deng Yunbo exclaimed, his expression excited.

"The transaction is complete," Wang Mengbin announced. "The world is wide; we each go our separate ways. Farewell." Wang Mengbin strode out, with Cheng Zhenyu and Zheng Nan quickly following.

Deng Yujiao's expression was complex, but she made no move to stop them.

After leaving Zhongyang Market, Wang Mengbin and his two companions transformed into three streaks of light, piercing through the air and vanishing into the horizon.
