Chapter 1891: Human World Summary

Initially, I didn't quite understand what "family cultivation novels" were, or if they primarily focused on the cultivation paths of cultivators born into prominent families. Everyone holds different opinions and impressions about this genre. My view is that a family comprises various members, some of whom are quite ordinary, just like us. Only a select few achieve lasting fame. Does that mean those who don't achieve renown can't have their own stories? I disagree. While I can't delve into excessive detail, I will try to include as many family members as possible. Some may not reach the very end, but their existence is crucial.

To summarize the shortcomings of the Human Realm arc: First, I couldn't adequately manage the many cultivation realm levels. Second, the map was too vast for me to control effectively. Third, the character descriptions were not good enough. Fourth, the combat scenes were poorly written. Fifth, the divine abilities, magical treasures, and exotic beasts were not well-planned and felt chaotic. Sixth, transplanting rare spirit herbs was too simple; I'll make it more complex in the future.

For the Spirit Realm, I plan to completely re-envision things. When I was reading *A Mortal's Journey to Immortality*, especially the Spirit Realm arc, I saw those True Spirit families and wondered how they came to be. Did every family member ascend from a lower realm? Clearly not. Even in the Immortal Realm, Immortals can have descendants, though the probability is extremely low. Furthermore, regarding family members, the Wang family's starting point was too low. While this made the beginning exciting, it became problematic when writing about higher realms. It would be too absurd to have all family members achieve immortality, like Qing Jun, Qing Qi, and others. Some readers commented that Wang family cultivators found it too easy to form Golden Cores and Nascent Souls. If I spent dozens of chapters developing a character only for them to die at the Foundation Establishment stage, I'd have to introduce a new batch of family members. If I were to write about a hundred family members at the beginning, giving them all names, and then have them die off in batches at the Qi Refining, Foundation Establishment, Golden Core, and Nascent Soul stages, people would accuse me of padding the story. I can only allow a portion of the family members to reach their destined cultivation realms. It's truly difficult to write about a protagonist's family with too few high-level cultivators; no matter how I write it, there will be criticism.

As a family grows and expands, internal strife is inevitable. Which family doesn't experience private conflicts? Even with just a few acres of land, people can come to blows, let alone a large cultivation clan. The Human Realm arc included many instances of attacks from hostile forces. To be honest, many readers found this depressing, and some even abandoned the story. There was nothing I could do about that. In the Spirit Realm, the approach will be different. There will certainly be setbacks, but they won't be the same kind as those in the Human Realm arc.

I wanted to write Qinglian Immortal Couple in the style of *The Return of the Condor Heroes*, but I couldn't achieve it. As for Ziyue, I intended to portray a destined but ultimately unfulfilled romance—a beauty in regret. In my vision, Qinglian Immortal Couple are the pioneers of the family, while Qingshan is its guardian. A family cultivation novel, in my personal understanding, isn't about the protagonist constantly staying within the family, but rather about the life experiences of its members. Constant smooth sailing is uninteresting, and perpetual adversity is equally so. It's best to have ups and downs.

Previously, some suggested that I have the protagonist travel around with the Zhenhai Xuanwater Token, searching for treasures and plundering cultivation resources from various secret realms. Others suggested having the Wang family unify the Tianlan, Qianhu, and Dongli realms. While writing it that way would certainly be exhilarating, I don't want to. If you call me arrogant or say I refuse to bow for mere gain, I don't possess that kind of moral integrity. My book's performance is mediocre, mostly accumulated through word count. Given my poor performance, I'll stick to my own vision. If you find it enjoyable, please subscribe; I'm grateful. If you dislike it, hate it, or even resort to abusive language, that's your choice. If you enjoy hurling insults, I can block you. I feel the atmosphere on Qidian (webnovel platform) has been problematic in recent years, with people constantly stirring up trouble and fabricating various accusations against me out of thin air. If you don't like it, just don't read it. Why resort to abusive language at every turn?
