Chapter 1032: East Wild Great Battle (Part Three)

A beam of yellow light shot forward, striking Cheng Xiaotian with a dull clang, like metal on metal. Immediately, sharp, red wolf fur sprouted all over his body.

The yellow light was, in fact, four yellow flying swords arranged in a circle, their tips pointing inward.

"Slash!"

Cheng Zhenyu formed a sword seal. The four yellow flying swords flared with brilliant light, instantly merging into a single giant yellow sword that cleaved towards Cheng Xiaotian's heart.

Simultaneously, the space above Cheng Xiaotian's head rippled, and a ghostly green claw suddenly materialized. Its black nails were wreathed in dark energy as it viciously swiped at Cheng Xiaotian's head.

Countless petals rained down from the sky, forming a colossal multicolored blade that descended upon Cheng Xiaotian, while a massive cyan sword-serpent also shot rapidly towards him.

Just then, Cheng Xiaotian let out an ear-splitting howl, his body fully transforming into that of a wolf.

A gigantic red wolf, measuring two zhang in height and three zhang in length, materialized in the air. The green ghostly claw struck the red wolf's head, only ripping off a patch of fur. The multicolored greatblade slashed across its body, merely scratching its hide. The cyan sword-serpent collided with the red wolf, sending it flying backward.

*BOOM!*

A cyan sword-serpent slammed the red wolf down onto the ground. The sword-serpent then suddenly burst apart, dissipating into a vast cloud of cyan sword energy that completely enveloped Cheng Xiaotian.

A chilling cyan sword light descended from above, vanishing into the cloud of cyan sword energy without a sound.

Wang Qingshan suddenly realized something. His face paled, and he urgently cried out, "Watch out! He's planning a sneak attack!"

He formed a sword seal, and numerous phantom images of cyan sword energy appeared around him, swirling protectively.

A soft breeze swept past Cheng Zhenyu from behind, and Cheng Xiaotian's figure materialized.

His hands had transformed into incredibly sharp wolf claws.

Zheng Nan's lips curved into a slight smile. A beam of blue light shot from her sleeve, transforming into a massive blue mirror. Its surface depicted a patch of deep blue seawater, which, strangely, seemed to be alive.

This was the Dinghai Mirror, one of the Zhenhai Sect's three ultimate treasures. It could still an entire sea, let alone a Core Formation stage half-demon.

This treasure was passed down from Zheng Nan's ancestors. Having the Dinghai Mirror had allowed them to overcome many perils and survive to this day.

"Still!"

As Zheng Nan uttered the command, the seawater on the Dinghai Mirror's surface surged violently, as if alive. A vast expanse of blue radiant light shot forth, enveloping Cheng Xiaotian.

Cheng Xiaotian was instantly immobilized, his eyes wide with shock. He had dared to approach them using the Crane Wing Talisman not just because of his confidence in his physical body, but also because he had thoroughly researched Cheng Zhenyu and his wife, gathering extensive intelligence on them.

What he didn't know was that the Dinghai Mirror was Cheng Zhenyu and Zheng Nan's ultimate hidden technique, one they would not easily reveal.

A rapid zither melody rang out, and an invisible sound wave swept forth, swiftly passing through Cheng Xiaotian's body.

Cheng Xiaotian felt as if his heart was about to burst from his chest, his blood boiled, and his internal organs twisted in agonizing pain.

"Sword-Human Unity!"

A cyan sword light, several zhang long, shot forward, exuding an aura of immense destructive power.

Liu Mei'er produced a lotus lamp, lit its wick, and channeled her spiritual power. Countless petals shot forth, swarming towards Cheng Xiaotian.

Just then, a colossal phantom wolf head appeared above Cheng Xiaotian, radiating a terrifying spiritual pressure.

*AWOOO!*

The phantom wolf head let out a furious howl, unleashing an invisible sound wave. The cyan sword light was instantly repelled, the multicolored petals scattered into fragments, and both Cheng Zhenyu and Zheng Nan were sent flying backward, coughing up blood incessantly.

After repelling the attacks of Wang Qingshan and the other three, the phantom wolf head vanished abruptly, transforming into a foot-long beast hide adorned with swirling, unstable runes.

With a soft *whoosh*, the beast hide spontaneously combusted, turning into ashes.

Ignoring the blood at the corner of her mouth, Zheng Nan pulled a zither string with two fingers and then released it.

A swift zither note resonated, and points of blue light flickered in the void. A blue sound wave surged forth, reaching Cheng Xiaotian in an instant.

Cheng Xiaotian felt an invisible hand strike him. His body was sent flying backward like a kite with a broken string, and he continued to cough up blood.

A cyan sword light shot forward, instantly appearing before Cheng Xiaotian.

Terrified beyond words, Cheng Xiaotian hastily raised the long saber in his hand to block.

With a pained cry, Cheng Xiaotian's left arm was severed, and blood gushed profusely.

The cyan sword light circled, preparing to strike Cheng Xiaotian again. However, five Core Formation stage half-demons rushed forward, encircling Cheng Xiaotian. Meanwhile, another five Core Formation stage half-demons, supported by over a dozen third-tier demonic birds, intercepted Wang Qingshan and his allies.

Had Cheng Xiaotian not been overly confident in engaging Cheng Zhenyu and Zheng Nan in close combat, Wang Qingshan would not have wounded him so easily, especially since Cheng Xiaotian had ten companions and over a dozen third-tier demonic birds.

Ultimately, Cheng Xiaotian's arrogance was his undoing.

*RUMBLE!*

A deafening roar echoed from high above, accompanied by lightning and thunder, and heavy rain began to pour.

Thousands of zhang above, the Carefree Sword Venerable had a horrific claw mark on his arm. Across from him, a fifty to sixty zhang long cyan python was engulfed by a vast dark cloud. The cloud, spanning over ten li, was filled with crackling lightning and rumbling thunder, exuding an astonishingly powerful aura.

The Carefree Sword Venerable cultivated the *Four Seasons Sword Art*, specifically the Spring Thunder Demon Slaying Sword Array.

Thick silver lightning bolts shot out, striking the cyan python. Its body was already heavily scarred, and blood flowed continuously.

The Carefree Sword Venerable's expression hardened. As his sword seal shifted, the dark cloud churned violently, and a vast expanse of silver lightning burst forth, coalescing into a colossal thunder sword that cleaved down upon the cyan python's enormous body.

The cyan python let out a pained hiss. A gruesome new wound appeared on its body, deep enough to reveal bone, and its blood had turned dark brown.

Just then, a distinctly familiar female scream pierced the air.

The Carefree Sword Venerable's heart jolted. He looked towards the source of the sound and saw Lin Siruo flying backward, coughing up blood, her clothes tattered and her aura weak. A massive silver bat and a giant golden eagle were pursuing her.

"Siruo!"

Overcome with grief, the Carefree Sword Venerable cried out her name.

Seizing the opportunity, the cyan python's body blazed with cyan light. A large expanse of cyan flames erupted from its scales as it charged into the dark cloud.

*RUMBLE!*

The cyan python tore a rift in the dark cloud, transforming into a streak of cyan light and fleeing through the sky.

The Carefree Sword Venerable frowned. He had painstakingly set up this sword array and was on the verge of eliminating the demon. But his distraction, caused by Lin Siruo, had allowed his foe to escape.

Without a moment's hesitation, he waved a hand, and the dark cloud coalesced into nine shimmering silver flying swords that shot towards the silver bat and the golden eagle.

"Qingshan, stop them for a moment! Don't let them harm Si... Mrs. Lin!"

Wang Qingshan happened to be near where Lin Siruo had fallen, so the Carefree Sword Venerable hastily sent a voice transmission to him.
