Chapter 230: The Overbearing CEO's Beloved Wife

When Xie Chang Ze returned to the living room, he saw Shi Qing sitting on the sofa, happily eating a lollipop and watching TV.

His long hair flowed down, and he was wearing a white dress, looking like a little angel.

Xie Chang Ze’s lips curled into a gentle smile.

He walked over and naturally sat down beside Shi Qing. Seeing her happy expression, he gently asked, "What are you watching?"

Shi Qing turned her head and showed him a bright smile, revealing a mouthful of lollipops. "I'm watching a cartoon."

She turned her head back and continued watching.

Xie Chang Ze also looked at the TV. It was a children's cartoon about a little bunny who was brave and kind.

He watched for a while, then reached out and gently stroked Shi Qing's hair. His movements were extremely gentle, as if he was afraid of breaking her.

Shi Qing didn't react. She continued to watch the TV with a serious expression.

Xie Chang Ze watched her for a while longer, then got up and went upstairs.

He came back down quickly, holding a photo album in his hand.

He sat down again beside Shi Qing, opened the photo album, and showed her the pictures inside.

"This is when you were three years old. You were so small and cute."

Shi Qing glanced at the picture, then continued to watch the TV.

Xie Chang Ze didn't mind. He continued to turn the pages, showing her pictures from different stages of her life.

"This is when you were five years old. You were already so smart and lively."

"This is when you were ten years old. You were the pride of the school."

He showed her pictures of her growing up, from a small child to a beautiful teenager.

Shi Qing looked at the pictures from time to time, her expression unchanged.

Xie Chang Ze talked to her gently, telling her stories about her childhood.

"Do you remember this? We went to the amusement park together, and you were so happy."

Shi Qing shook her head.

Xie Chang Ze's smile didn't fade. He continued to tell her stories, his voice full of warmth.

He talked about their family, their memories, everything they had shared.

Shi Qing listened quietly, her expression unreadable.

After a while, Xie Chang Ze closed the photo album.

He looked at Shi Qing, his eyes filled with tenderness.

"Qingqing, do you remember anything?"

Shi Qing looked at him, then shook her head.

Xie Chang Ze's smile didn't change. He reached out and gently stroked her hair again.

"It's okay. We can make new memories."

He stayed with her for a while longer, then got up and left.

Shi Qing continued to watch the cartoon, her expression calm.

In the following days, Xie Chang Ze spent a lot of time with Shi Qing.

He took her out to play, bought her gifts, and told her stories.

He tried to help her remember, but she never did.

Shi Qing remained the same, always calm and quiet.

She would occasionally smile, but it was a simple, childlike smile.

Xie Chang Ze didn't give up. He continued to spend time with her, hoping that one day she would remember.

He took her to places they used to go, showed her things they used to do.

He talked about their friends, their family, everything they had shared.

Shi Qing listened quietly, her expression unchanged.

One day, Xie Chang Ze took her to a park they used to frequent.

They sat on a bench, watching the children play.

Xie Chang Ze pointed to a group of children and said, "Remember? We used to play here all the time."

Shi Qing looked at the children, then back at him. She shook her head.

Xie Chang Ze's smile remained, but there was a hint of sadness in his eyes.

He didn't say anything, just sat there with her, watching the children.

After a while, Shi Qing turned to him and said, "I want to eat ice cream."

Xie Chang Ze's eyes lit up. "Okay, let's go get some ice cream."

He took her hand and led her to an ice cream stand.

Shi Qing chose a strawberry ice cream, and Xie Chang Ze bought her one.

She ate it happily, a small smile on her face.

Xie Chang Ze watched her, his heart filled with warmth.

Even though she couldn't remember, she was still his Qingqing.

He would continue to stay by her side, and they would create new memories together.

As long as she was happy, that was enough.

Days turned into weeks, weeks into months.

Shi Qing's memory didn't return, but her relationship with Xie Chang Ze grew stronger.

She became more comfortable around him, and would occasionally initiate conversation.

She still loved watching cartoons and eating sweets, and she was still as beautiful as ever.

Xie Chang Ze continued to be patient and loving.

He took care of her every need, and always put her happiness first.

He knew that her memory loss was a challenge, but he was determined to face it with her.

He would never give up on her, and he would always be there for her.

One day, Shi Qing was watching TV when she suddenly said, "This song is nice."

Xie Chang Ze looked at the TV. It was a song that used to be their favorite.

His heart skipped a beat.

"Do you remember this song?" he asked gently.

Shi Qing looked at him, her eyes clear.

"I don't know," she said. "I just think it's nice."

Xie Chang Ze's heart sank, but he didn't show it.

"It's a nice song," he said, smiling.

He continued to watch TV with her, his arm around her shoulders.

Even though she couldn't remember, he was still grateful for the small moments like these.

He knew that healing took time, and he was willing to wait for her.

He would wait for as long as it took, because she was worth it.

He would wait for his Qingqing to come back to him.

And he would love her, always.
