Chapter 172: Arrogant Sun Qiang

Knock, knock, knock!

Master Yuanyu approached the door and began to knock. Before long, the gate opened, and Sun Qiang, with his belly protruding, walked out.

He glanced at the group, his eyelids lifting slightly. "Three million gold coins to enter, then wait by the door. Our master will decide when he wants to see you, and then you'll be allowed in."

Master Yuanyu was well-known among the elite, and many recognized him. However, to a minor figure like Sun Qiang, he was completely unknown.

"Besides, who cares who you are?" Sun Qiang boasted. "My master is a Master Teacher! Even dragons must coil, and tigers must crouch before him!"

"Cough, cough!" Master Yuanyu choked on his saliva. Behind him stood three Master Teachers! A mere steward, acting so arrogantly — wasn't he afraid of being beaten to death?

"I am Yuanyu, here to visit your master," he stated. Though displeased, he knew this person might be a Master Teacher's steward. He wouldn't dare interfere in matters between Master Teachers, even if he held a respectable position.

"I don't care if you're Round-speak or Square-speak!" Sun Qiang waved his fat hand, clearly impatient. "Was what I just said unclear? Pay three million and wait here. Perhaps our master will grant you an audience. Otherwise, get lost and stop yapping! No money but trying to act important?"

"Do you even know who our master is?" one of the guards, unable to bear it any longer, shouted.

"Who cares who your master is? If you want to enter this estate, you must follow the rules here. Stop wasting my time! If you don't have the money, don't pretend to be a big shot. You don't even have three million, yet you try to act tough in front of Brother Qiang?" Sun Qiang looked at them with contempt. "If you're not willing to spend money, then scram! Can your master be greater than a Master Teacher?"

"You—" The guard was so enraged he nearly vomited blood on the spot. Their Master Liu was revered as an honored guest wherever he went, his status ineffably noble. Yet, in this fellow's eyes, he had become a mere pauper, a faker. *You're the faker! Your whole family are fakers!*

His face flushed, the guard was about to reveal their identities and rebuke the steward when Master Liu raised a hand to stop him. "We are merely passing by and wished to meet your master. Could you please inform him of our presence?"

Before he could finish, Sun Qiang stepped forward, raised his plump hand, and slapped him across the face. "Old man, are you deaf? Or is something wrong with your brain? Didn't you hear what I just said? If you want to visit our master, put three million down. No money, then get out! These are the rules—rules that cannot be broken! Understand?"

"Ah!" Witnessing this, Master Yuanyu, standing nearby, trembled uncontrollably, nearly fainting. *He slapped Master Liu's face!*

The guards behind him were also frozen in place, each one looking utterly insane. *What the hell! This fellow actually slapped Master Liu's face? And called him brain-damaged? You're not just bold, you're courting death!*

Even Master Liu himself was stunned. Clearly, he hadn't expected this fatty to dare do such a thing; his eyebrow twitched. Regardless, he was a Master Teacher, a figure respected by all. Countless powerful individuals held their breath in his presence, yet this fellow went right ahead and slapped his face, leaving him unable to dodge or retaliate. He was so frustrated he wanted to vomit blood.

However, he couldn't get angry. The other party clearly didn't know his identity. For a dignified Master Teacher, a VIP of Tianxuan Kingdom, to argue with a minor figure upon arrival would truly be humiliating if word got out. He swayed, narrowly dodging the steward's second slap, and, suppressing his frustration, waved his hand backward.

"A-Yun!"

"Yes, Master!" The guard behind him reacted, taking a jade token from his pocket and presenting it. "This is our master's instruction token. With this, one can receive an hour of personal guidance from our master, which is more than equivalent to three million gold coins!"

Master Teachers would issue such instruction tokens, each bearing their unique mark. Anyone possessing one could receive free guidance. These tokens were symbols of a Master Teacher's status and could also be used as a form of currency. After all, a Master Teacher's lessons were extremely rare; many fought tooth and nail to secure one. A single instruction token, granting an hour of guidance, was something even peak Transcendent Mortal realm experts would desperately contend for. If valued in actual money, its worth would undoubtedly far exceed three million gold coins.

Before the jade token even reached Sun Qiang's hand, he snatched it and threw it away as if it were trash, shattering it. "Is there something wrong with your brain? You think a broken piece of jade can be worth three million? Do you think I'm stupid? No money, now all of you, get out!" With that, he cast a contemptuous look at them, turned, and walked toward the estate, casually reaching to close the gate.

Since there were no Master Teachers in Tianxuan Kingdom, there were naturally no such things as instruction tokens. Sun Qiang, seeing that they couldn't produce the money, assumed they were trying to fool him with a 'worthless' piece of jade. He felt he was already being generous by not having his guards immediately drive them away.

"You—" Seeing him discard the token and look at them with such disdain, the guards were so furious they almost fainted. *Good grief! Where did they find such a blockhead to be a steward?*

"Brother Sun, wait!" Seeing him about to close the gate, Master Yuanyu could no longer hold back and stepped forward. "Here are three million gold notes. Please inform Master Yang of our presence." If things continued this way, he feared the three Master Teachers behind him would erupt in anger. He was just a minor physician and didn't want to suffer a pointless calamity simply for bringing them here.

"Hmm, that's more like it. You're sensible!" Sun Qiang took the gold notes, glanced down at them, and nodded in satisfaction. Then he sighed, "Why didn't you bring the money out earlier instead of that broken jade? I've seen cheap people, but never this cheap! Don't you know Brother Qiang is a man of principles? No money, no entry!"

Hearing this, the corners of everyone else's mouths twitched again, and even Master Yuanyu almost couldn't contain himself. *My good sir, do you even know the true value of the instruction token you just shattered? Peak Transcendent Mortal experts would fight to the death over such an item, yet you casually tossed it away as if it were worthless trash! Are you truly a Master Teacher's steward? How could you not recognize such an item?*

"Alright, wait here. Our master just went out for a while. When he returns, if he's in a good mood, he might summon you." The fatty tucked away the gold notes and waved his hand.

"He went out?" Master Yuanyu's eyebrow twitched. *Good grief, he went out? Why didn't you say so earlier? You take the money first, and then tell us we have to wait for him to return! If I had come alone to visit, it wouldn't be a big deal, harmless enough. But the crucial point is, how can these three gentlemen behind me possibly wait here?*

"Could you please quickly inform him? We truly have an urgent matter with your master," Master Yuanyu said, forcing himself to remain calm.

"What's so urgent?" Sun Qiang asked, his attitude now much better as they had paid. *After all, the customer was god.*

"Anything we have to say, we'll discuss with your master, not with you!" the guard who had offered the jade token finally burst out.

"Oh? What's wrong, too embarrassed to say? Brother Qiang follows our master every day and has learned quite a bit. Some simple problems don't even require the master to intervene; I can solve them myself." Sun Qiang raised his plump head and gave a cold chuckle. *He chuckled to himself, 'Joke's on them. I've received the master's true teachings. I've witnessed all his methods firsthand. It's nothing more than bluffing them first, making them expose themselves, and then finding a way to trick them. With my skills, it's more than enough to fool a few people who aren't even willing to spend money.'*

"You've learned quite a bit?" The guard was about to speak again but was interrupted by Master Liu, who, full of doubt, said, "Since you claim you can tell, why don't you examine me and see what problems I have?"

"You?" Sun Qiang's plump body circled Master Liu, then he stepped back. Recalling his master's demeanor and poise, he lifted his head forty-five degrees, gazed at Master Liu indifferently, adopting the air of a reclusive master, and asked, "Is your whole family well?"

"What did you say?" Master Liu was taken aback, almost fainting on the spot. *He asked him to look at him, and this fellow starts insulting his family?*

Master Yuanyu swayed, so frustrated he almost slammed his head into a wall. *Good heavens, I wish a lightning bolt would strike me dead. I can't take this anymore! The psychological pressure was immense. The heart palpitations from these few minutes were more intense than anything he'd experienced in a lifetime.*

Ignoring the anger and shock of the crowd, Sun Qiang recalled his master's various affectations and smiled faintly, his face radiating confidence. "Oh? You didn't understand? Then I'll rephrase: Are your family members' bodies all well?"
