Chapter 2405: First Joint Effort

In the midst of raging flames and gunpowder smoke, Ye Chen's furious shout rang out the loudest.

It wasn't an exaggeration—this single yell even overshadowed the thunderous roars from the Da Dao Tai Shang Tian, howling with an overwhelming dominance that truly shook the heavens and moved the spirits.

This question wasn't just on the minds of the Zhutian people; the Tianmo were thinking it too.

The answer was undoubtedly yes.

Just imagine, who would be so absurdly idle as to use a person as a weapon?

Hong Yan acted as if she hadn't heard a word, gripping Ye Chen even tighter and swinging him with even greater force.

As for Ye Chen's outburst, she felt like laughing. Was it her who was sick, or him? After all these years, didn't he have any clue about what he'd done to her? Stealing her treasures, hanging her from a tree, spanking her, using her to relieve himself, and even planning to feed her specialties from Da Chu—it was all his doing. She'd endured it for a full twenty years, just waiting for this day.

With that thought in mind, her strikes grew even more ferocious.

Thud! Thud! Thud!

Blood sprayed everywhere as more Tianmo fell victim, wiped out in waves. It was unclear if it was Hong Yan's sheer power or Ye Chen's incredibly tough physique that made them so deadly, but they cut through the enemy with savage intensity, venting all of Ye Chen's anger and the pent-up rage from those years onto the Tianmo.

Wherever she went, no one dared to approach.

As for Ye Chen, he was completely dazed. He'd barely regained consciousness for a moment before being thrust back into close contact with the Tianmo, his head buzzing from the swings, unable to distinguish reality from illusion.

The Ren Wang had once said it well: commit too many sins, and retribution will come.

Now, being used as a weapon by Hong Yan was his retribution. After twenty years of back and forth, she deserved a chance to let it all out. Women, after all, hold grudges.

"This kind of ferocity—whoever marries her will have quite the lively life."

This was what everyone in Zhutian was thinking. With her combat skills, explosive temper, and violent tendencies, things could get rough in the bedroom—one wrong move, and you might end up in pieces.

"Doesn't it hurt to watch?"

Si Tu Nan and Xie Yun's group finally fought their way close to Chu Xuan and the others, stubbornly pressing on just to ask that question.

The women ignored them, but their expressions clearly said one thing: Not at all.

"Anyway, it looks painful to me."

Tang San Shao grimaced as he spoke.

No sooner had the words left his mouth than the little chubby guy activated his Bloodline Limit, instantly teleporting to Ye Ling's side. He wielded a spiked club with ferocious swings, howling all the while, "I'll make you pay for hitting my wife, for hitting my wife!"

"Get lost—who's your wife?"

Ye Ling's scolding was sharp, her beautiful eyes blazing with fury.

"Don't mess around, I—"

Boom! Bang!

Before Tang San Shao could finish, two beams of divine light streaked in from the sky, identical in appearance, like murky puppets radiating supreme pressure that made the void tremble. Not just the Tianmo, but many from Zhutian were forced to spit blood under the weight.

"Hong Chen?"

"Liu Dao?"

The people of Zhutian were all astonished, unsure of their origins but recognizing them instantly.

"Who broke the seal?"

Zhong Xiao and Chu Ling Yu, still locked in battle, furrowed their brows deeply.

Di Ji frowned as well, her gaze fixed on Liu Dao.

"Has something happened in Da Chu?"

Dong Huang Tai Xin's delicate brows knitted together. The arrival of the female Sheng Ti, along with Hong Chen and Liu Dao, was no small matter—especially Hong Chen, who bore Di Huang's seal!

"It's possible he broke it himself."

Di Lao pondered aloud. He knew of Hong Chen's strangeness, coming from a future time and space. Though muddled, he had many tricks up his sleeve—who could say he hadn't used external forces? It wasn't out of the question.

"He doesn't have that kind of power."

The Son of the Plane spoke thoughtfully, his deep eyes flickering with hidden meaning. With all three of them here, it was hard to believe nothing was amiss in Da Chu.

"Could it be that white-clothed woman again?"

Sheng Zun raised an eyebrow.

Boom! Bang!

As they exchanged thoughts, Hong Chen and Liu Dao charged from left and right straight toward the female Sheng Ti.

In that moment, the quasi-emperors understood.

Clearly, Yao Xi was with the female Sheng Ti; otherwise, Hong Chen and Liu Dao wouldn't be targeting her so directly. This was actually good news—at least Yao Xi was safe for now.

Buzz!

Before Hong Chen and Liu Dao could attack, a massive demonic pillar in the sky began to hum.

Mo Sha surged and roiled as a new wave of Tianmo poured out from the pillar.

This hum made Hong Chen and Liu Dao's bodies tremble.

Their murky eyes, once fixed on Hong Yan, now locked onto the demonic pillar. A flicker of clarity appeared in their gazes, though it vanished in an instant.

"Destroy the pillar."

Hong Yan's voice rang out firmly as she finally released Ye Chen. A dao sword appeared in her hand, and with one swing, she carved out an eight-thousand-li blood path.

Hong Chen and Liu Dao seemed influenced as well, abandoning any thoughts of Yao Xi. In that instant, a new purpose awakened in them: to destroy the demonic pillar at the edge of the heavens.

Boom! Bang! Boom!

These two supreme ruthless figures, along with the female Sheng Ti who was infinitely close to great accomplishment, formed the strongest trio below Di Huang in all of Zhutian. Their joint assault was truly overwhelming.

From afar, they looked like three war gods: the female Sheng Ti in the center, Hong Chen and Liu Dao on either side, cutting a striking path through the dense swarm of Tianmo. Nothing could stop their advance.

Fight!

The Zhutian cultivators were invigorated, charging forward relentlessly in their wake, pushing toward the end of the heavens.

The Zhutian quasi-emperors exchanged glances, then all turned their eyes to Hong Yan.

Back in the Ling Yu catastrophe, the female Sheng Ti had aided Zhutian; now, she was helping them again. This shift added another layer of mystery to her.

Had she been swayed?

The quasi-emperors murmured among themselves before launching a collective attack. Regardless of the reason, Hong Yan was indeed fighting for the myriad realms of Zhutian this time—and with Hong Chen and Liu Dao by her side.

The female Sheng Ti could read their thoughts, just as she had said years ago: if Ye Chen could reach quasi-emperor and bring Di Huang, she would believe in the common people once more.

The Tenth Emperor of Da Chu had fulfilled his part, and she had kept her word, fighting for the masses for the first time.

As for Ye Chen, he was still reeling in the rear, dizzy and disoriented. Though his Sheng Ti was tough, Hong Yan's ferocity had nearly shattered it. He staggered, barely able to stand, before collapsing to his knees and coughing up blood.

"You crazy woman."

Even while spitting blood, Ye Da Shao couldn't help but curse.

"Can you still get up?"

Ren Wang appeared, casually flicking a pill into Ye Chen's body—a healing divine medicine that instantly mended his injuries.

"You bastard, you finally show up?"

Ye Chen cursed again, but he managed to rise. He wasn't surprised by Ren Wang's arrival; if the female Sheng Ti and Hong Chen and Liu Dao had been unsealed, it would be unjust if the emperor's remnant soul hadn't awakened.

"Over the years, you've probably collected quite a few rare treasures, right?"

Ren Wang spoke earnestly.

Ye Chen didn't reply. Instead, he kicked out with domineering force, sending Ren Wang flying. We're in the middle of a war—do you have time for this?

Compared to Ren Wang, the Tenth Emperor of Da Chu was more composed. He reformed his Sheng Ti, rallied his strength, gripped his blood-stained imperial sword, and charged into the Tianmo ranks atop a golden immortal river.

This guy's anger was immense, all directed at the Tianmo. He slashed through them in waves, determined to catch up to Hong Yan and shout at her: Serves you right for being flat-chested.

Ren Wang picked himself up with a cough and joined the battle. As a war weakling, he still had some fight in him—as long as he didn't face a Mo Jun, these Mo Jiang and Mo Bing were no match for him.

In his spare moments, he glanced at the Da Dao Tai Shang Tian.

Even as a Zhutian person, he couldn't bear to watch. The peak great emperor was being pummeled by the Da Cheng Sheng Ti, unable to lift his head. Every attempted counterattack was met with golden fists driving him back.

That battle was a foregone conclusion—no need to predict it; it was obvious.
