Grandmaster Wu's expression subtly changed. Queen Medusa truly was adept at building connections. She had only been in the royal court for a day, yet she had already established contact with so many tribes?

He hesitated, then changed his aggressive demeanor. "The Crown Prince was assassinated yesterday. We received intelligence and specifically came here to investigate."

Kong Qing looked around, secretly startled by the tense atmosphere among the Golden Crow Guards. After a moment of hesitation, he replied, "I am here on the Peacock King's orders to deliver some daily necessities to Queen Medusa, to ensure their comfort during their stay in the royal court."

At his words, the other tribal leaders exchanged glances, wondering if the Peacock King also had an interest in Queen Medusa.

Grandmaster Wu was also startled. He hadn't expected such close ties between the Peacock Tribe and Queen Medusa. Could it be that the Peacock King was behind this assassination attempt?

In the side room, Yan Xuehen uttered a sound of surprise. "Kong Qing dares to get involved in this mess and even invokes the Peacock King's name?"
