Chapter 728: Beating Famous Experts from All Sides

"Where did this audacious fellow come from, daring to act wildly in Ten Directions Valley? Do you truly believe there's no one left from our three great empires?"

The old man who spoke had white hair and a beard, wrapped in a gray robe. He clearly had a short temper and was used to throwing his weight around, relying on his age and status. Xu Yang never paid any attention to such posturing old-timers.

"Go shout somewhere else."

With a casual wave, several sword glints instantly erupted from the center of the void, catching the old man completely off guard.

The opponent had not expected Xu Yang to deny him even a chance to speak. Unprepared, his protective aura was instantly shattered, and he was sent flying hundreds of meters away.

This time, it wasn't just this old man who emerged due to Xu Yang's powerful display.

With so many dignitaries from various empires present, did he really think he was the only one who could speak? Xu Yang never humored those who sought to hog the limelight or abuse their age and status. Crippling this old man on the spot served as a clear warning.

As expected, after Xu Yang's impressive display of power, the indignant dignitaries who had emerged suddenly lost their temper. They all adopted a wait-and-see attitude, cautiously observing Xu Yang.

"I know you are all prominent figures from the great empires, but you had best not speak recklessly in front of me. Otherwise, that foolish old man who just spoke will be your fate."

"As for why the three of us are here, it's not to deliberately disturb your peace. We heard that an inexplicable curse has recently appeared beneath Ten Directions Valley, targeting the Crown Prince of the Ancient Xia Empire. The Crown Prince is my friend, and I promised him I would come to investigate the truth. If any of you are willing to cooperate, I, Xu, would be grateful."

A middle-aged Taoist nun in a blue robe snickered from nearby.

"So, you're just a few lackeys sent by the Crown Prince. Listen, young man, truthfully, you'd best not get involved in this matter, as it concerns the future structure of all five great empires. As for the origin of that seal, you don't need to inquire. Even we, who have resided beneath Ten Directions Valley for thousands of years, are unsure of its true source."

Before Xu Yang could respond, Empress Isis, who was behind him, sneered.

"Judging by your tone, you seem to think yourselves too important. Why should what you cannot accomplish be beyond the three of us? After all, you are merely outsiders, while we are the true inheritors of the myriad worlds."

At the same moment, Little Flower gently raised the Angelic Scepter in her hand and calmly stated, "Those willing to help, provide some clues. Those unwilling to help, you'd best step aside. When we investigate the truth, the consequences for you will be severe."

The Taoist nun in the blue robe was still the first to charge forward.

"It seems you truly have no regard for us. In that case, you'll have to step over our corpses! Ten Directions Valley is not a place for outsiders from your fated world to tread. Beneath it lie the martial traditions passed down by our three great empires for a millennium. How could we so easily allow you foreign barbarians to pry?"

Xu Yang slightly raised the corner of his mouth. "I've been annoyed by you, old hag, for a while. You should go keep that old fool company, instead of constantly nagging in front of me."

The moment Xu Yang finished speaking, five incredibly powerful sword glints materialized out of thin air around the blue-robed nun, completely locking onto her core aura. No matter what defensive measures she attempted, they were futile.

"Don't waste your efforts," Empress Isis said. "Once locked by A-Yang's sword path, no matter how strong you are, you have no chance of contending!"

As soon as the Empress finished speaking, she spared no further glance for the blue-robed nun and charged towards the large man below, who was clutching a wine gourd.

It must be said that the dozen or so old individuals blocking Xu Yang and his companions all possessed some strength. They were all foundational figures of the three great empires. While not considered peak world-class experts, the raw power within them was certainly not to be underestimated.

In total, Xu Yang and his two companions were surrounded by these dozen or so imperial experts, with each of them facing an average of four or five masters.

However, given their current level of strength, even thirty or forty more opponents would be no match for them.

"Come at us all together," Xu Yang declared. "Don't waste too much of our time."

The moment Xu Yang spoke, he made the first powerful move. The giant he had first targeted, who wielded two large iron hammers, showed no fear and charged powerfully towards Xu Yang's face.

"Let's see how many of my hammer blows your small physique can withstand," the giant challenged.

Hearing the giant's confident words, Xu Yang suddenly halted, deliberately exposing several vulnerabilities to give his opponent the first strike.

"You're not wrong," Xu Yang replied. "I'm actually looking forward to seeing how many blows you can land on me."

Boom!

In that instant, a dense, dark, powerful aura condensed on the surface of the giant's two massive hammers, clearly a manifestation of his primal power.

Rings of black light pulsed, some wrapping around the giant's arms, others completely enveloping the two enormous iron spheres. His arms moved the hammers, forming a complete system of power output.

In a flash, both iron spheres simultaneously smashed down towards Xu Yang's head.

Such a level of power would likely reduce any other person to dust in a single blow. Unfortunately for the giant, his opponent this time was Xu Yang, a man whose mere stomp could make the entire myriad worlds tremble.

Boom!

The massive hammers crashed down simultaneously. Xu Yang's reaction, however, astonished everyone present. Facing such a fierce onslaught of heavy hammer blows, Xu Yang did not move an inch, nor did he even raise a hand. He simply resisted with the pure strength of his physical body.

In just a single encounter, the two great hammers striking Xu Yang's body felt as if they had sunk into an enormous sponge. Despite the immense force they unleashed, it was completely neutralized the instant it made contact with Xu Yang's body.

"How is this possible? My twin hammers have never failed before! Why did they only exert so little force on you?"

It was evident that this giant was a prime example of a pure brute-force warrior: strong in physique but overly simplistic in mind, completely lacking the ability to properly assess the situation.

He didn't even comprehend why his twin hammers, which had just struck Xu Yang, hadn't produced the imagined impact.

In reality, it wasn't because his force wasn't strong enough; it was because the angelic bloodline within Xu Yang was simply not something an existence of his caliber could contend with.

"Let me give you a simple example," Xu Yang began. "You, a top-tier strength-based warrior, are like an elephant on the plains. While my physical body might not contend with yours in that specific aspect, I am a supreme deity. You must acknowledge this. Because you will always have only one way to attack me, while I have a hundred, even a thousand ways to instantly obliterate you."
