I'm a complete newcomer, the kind of new writer who's still very much finding their way.

This book secured a contract at 60,000 words and received its first trial promotion at 100,000 words. It's in the popular Xuanhuan fantasy genre. Anyone familiar with the process knows it's extremely rare for books to break through at this stage. My primary goal in writing this book was simply to provide some entertainment for everyone during their leisure time. Beyond that, I hope that as the plot unfolds, it can stir various emotions in readers—whether it leads to hearty laughter, thoughtful contemplation, or quiet reflection. As for the supporting characters, my intention from the outset was that not everyone would simply revolve around the protagonist, whether he's called Xu Xiaoshou or by any other name. My approach is to first establish their personalities, then introduce them at the opportune moment—whether it's a dramatic appearance or a dazzling debut. My aim is for their arrival to consistently propel the story forward. There's a fine line between genius and madness. The day my characters become indistinguishable from the crowd, it will most likely be because I've lost my passion! These are my thoughts on the book.
