Su Yan had previously given Lu Ye one of her feathers, but it wasn't her most unique Phoenix Feather, so even if the power within it was depleted, it wouldn't significantly affect her.

The Phoenix who died here was an ancestor from an unknown number of years ago. After their death, their spatial power gave rise to numerous Void Beasts, and it was from that Phoenix Feather that the special Void Beast was born.

Lu Ye, who was examining the Phoenix Feather, suddenly stirred. He turned his head to look to the side, and in his field of vision, a ball of fire drifted towards them. Within the fire, a small phoenix figure could faintly be seen dancing.

This made his eyes light up.

He sensed the aura of a Phoenix from within the fire.

This undoubtedly meant that a Phoenix had used this method to locate him and Zhu Yin.

It must have been the aftermath of the recent battle that attracted them.

Sure enough, a slightly muffled voice soon emanated from the fire: "Stay here and don't move." Immediately after, the fire dissipated.

The individual's true form hadn't arrived yet, but since they had located them through this method, their main body should arrive shortly.

Lu Ye felt a wave of relief; they were finally saved.

About a quarter of an hour later, a figure suddenly swept into the cave.

Lu Ye looked up and saw a woman dressed in fiery red robes, her beautiful hair appearing to burn like flames. Her neck was fair and slender, and her long hair was tied into a high ponytail. Her clothes clung to her delicate figure, giving her an exceptionally capable appearance.

The moment she appeared, her gaze fixed on the massive skeleton, and a look of sorrow clouded her eyes.

The fact that a clan member had once fallen within the Spatial Corridor was no secret among the Phoenix clan. The Phoenix clan had sent out search parties multiple times but had always returned empty-handed.

They never expected to encounter it by chance today.

Zhu Yin, with her robust physique, appeared mostly unharmed after a brief recovery, though her face remained slightly pale. She slowly stood up and bowed, saying, "Greetings, Elder Jiuyin."

Lu Ye didn't recognize her, so he quickly followed suit and bowed.

Huang Jiuyin withdrew her gaze from the massive skeleton and first looked at Zhu Yin, her eyes filled with concern. "Yin'er, are you alright?"

Zhu Yin shook her head. "I'm fine."

Huang Jiuyin nodded slightly, then looked at Lu Ye, quickly scanning him to confirm he was also unharmed before looking away.

Lu Ye's expression remained calm, but he couldn't help but notice the significant difference in treatment. It seemed that his relationship with Su Yan wasn't just frowned upon by the Phoenix Lord; the elders merely chose not to interfere.

Not interfering didn't mean they would treat Lu Ye kindly. Historically, Phoenix clan's 'external husbands' generally received similar treatment.

With a wave of Huang Jiuyin's hand, the space around the massive skeleton seemed to be isolated, then quickly shrank and was collected into her grasp.

"Follow me closely, don't wander off!" she instructed, then immediately led the way forward.

The passages in the Spatial Corridor were unpredictable, so she had to return the way they came quickly. Otherwise, if too much time passed, she would have to find a new way out herself.

She led the way, expertly navigating turn after turn, with Lu Ye and Zhu Yin following closely behind.

The space within the Spatial Corridor was chaotic and layered, yet Huang Jiuyin moved through it with practiced ease.

After about two hours, Lu Ye suddenly noticed a glimmer of light ahead. He was instantly invigorated, realizing they were about to leave the Spatial Corridor.

Sure enough, as Huang Jiuyin passed through the light, their surroundings shifted, and they had left the place where they had been trapped for days.

He immediately saw Su Yan waiting outside, along with two other Phoenix clan elders.

"Sister Yan," Zhu Yin darted out from behind him and threw herself into Su Yan's embrace, looking as if she had been terribly frightened.

Su Yan gently patted her shoulder, then cast a concerned glance at Lu Ye. Lu Ye shook his head, indicating he was fine, which put Su Yan at ease.

Huang Jiuyin and the other two Phoenix elders were communicating through divine sense. Currently, other Phoenix powerhouses were still searching for Lu Ye and Zhu Yin within the Spatial Corridor, but due to the inability to transmit messages in time, they were unaware that the two youngsters had already escaped.

However, they would periodically emerge to check the situation, also to prevent staying in the Spatial Corridor for too long and risking changes to the return path.

Therefore, they only needed to wait here for a while, and the other Phoenix powerhouses would return.

"Yes!" Su Yan replied, leading Lu Ye and Zhu Yin back towards her Phoenix Nest.

A moment later, inside the Phoenix Nest, Zhu Yin looked at Su Yan, then at Lu Ye, and her expression became somewhat uncomfortable.

A short while later, Zhu Yin hastily bid them farewell and departed.

Su Yan's attempts to make her stay were unsuccessful, so she personally saw her off.

Upon her return, she looked at Lu Ye with suspicion. "Senior Brother, did something happen between you and Yin'er, some misunderstanding?"

Although the two of them were not blood relatives, or even of the same species, they had grown up together since childhood and were as close as sisters.

They hadn't seen each other for a long time, and Zhu Yin had just escaped danger, so logically they should have had endless things to talk about. Yet, Zhu Yin was acting unusually.

There hadn't been any such indication until she brought Zhu Yin back with Lu Ye...

"What misunderstanding could I possibly have with her?" Lu Ye replied subconsciously, as he was currently engrossed in comprehending the mysteries of space.

If there was any "misunderstanding," it was when they were trapped in the Spatial Corridor and held each other naked. However, that was out of necessity, a desperate measure in an emergency.

He didn't have any particular thoughts about it, and Zhu Yin certainly wouldn't hold a grudge.

However, after speaking, he realized why Zhu Yin was acting that way: she had simply become aware of his relationship with Su Yan.

If he were merely another Phoenix clan's 'external husband,' Zhu Yin would probably have dismissed the incident as fleeting. But he was, specifically, Su Yan's 'external husband.'

Su Yan frowned. "Yin'er is acting strangely..."

Lu Ye took out a handful of Spatial Dao Seeds. "Yan'er, here's half for you!"

These were obtained from the last Void Beasts he killed. At the time, he was busy recovering and healing, so he didn't have time to refine them. He had originally intended to give a few to Zhu Yin after they got out, but the Dragoness had already left.

Since that was the case, giving them to Su Yan was just as good.

"How are there so many!" Su Yan exclaimed, surprised.

She had only recently achieved Dao Integration and had not yet ventured into the Spatial Corridor for training. "Luck!" Lu Ye chuckled, splitting the Dao Seeds in two and pushing half of them towards Su Yan.

Su Yan, however, shook her head. "These are from Senior Brother's training; I can't take a share. But with so many Dao Seeds, Senior Brother probably won't have time to refine them all. You could give them to the Matriarch to handle, and she'll give you corresponding benefits."

"I can refine them," Lu Ye said, picking up a Dao Seed. Under the power of his Talent Tree, the crystalline Dao Seed rapidly shrank, dissolving as if it were a snowflake melting under the blazing sun.

Su Yan's mouth formed a small O-shape, and then a worried expression appeared on her face. "Senior Brother, won't refining them like this cause any problems?"

Not to mention Lu Ye, an 'external husband,' even the Phoenix elders couldn't refine the power of Dao Seeds at such an astonishing speed. She didn't know what method Lu Ye was using, but it was beyond common sense.

Lu Ye frowned and touched his stomach. "I feel a bit overstuffed."

Not just now, but he had felt it consistently.

Ever since he started refining the Void Beast Dao Seeds, it felt like he had been constantly gorging himself. Although he was continually digesting, the increasing intake was becoming too much for his digestion to keep up with.

Seeing Su Yan's worried expression, Lu Ye smiled. "But it's fine; I know what I'm doing."

Su Yan was half-convinced, half-doubtful.

Lu Ye then pushed the other half of the Dao Seeds towards her. "I haven't given you anything before; please take these."

Su Yan chuckled softly. "I can't refine so many..."

Unable to resist Lu Ye, she eventually took a few, pushed the rest back, and said with slightly pursed lips, "Thank you, Senior Brother."

Seeing this, Lu Ye no longer insisted. He activated the power of his Talent Tree and devoured and refined all the remaining Spatial Dao Seeds.

He felt even more stuffed.

Su Yan was in the process of refining her Dao Seeds and, seeing his pained expression and steam rising from his head, couldn't help but realize what he was going through.

After a moment of hesitation, she softly asked, "Senior Brother, do you need help?"

Lu Ye opened his eyes. "Yan'er, do you have a special method to help me?" If not, Su Yan wouldn't have asked.

Su Yan replied, "The 'external husband' ancestor who created the Spatial Dao Seed secret technique also devised another secret method specifically for us Phoenix clan members to assist 'external husbands' in cultivating the Way of Space."

Lu Ye couldn't help but marvel, "That ancestor was truly extraordinary. Since there's such a method, then I'll trouble you, Yan'er."

What struck him as slightly odd was that, for some reason, Su Yan was blushing...

And her face was getting redder and redder!

Then he saw Su Yan raise her hand and wave, and the entire space of the Phoenix Nest was sealed.
