Chapter 1915: Great Profit

In a small room of the Bounty Hall, Lu Ye, his appearance altered, sat quietly waiting.

In the corner of the room, there was another figure—his Blood Clone. At this moment, the clone's position was concealed by a formation, so even if someone entered, they wouldn't notice anything unusual unless their eyesight was sharp enough.

The Indomitable Mountain Blade rested across the clone's lap.

The Fanged Power was simple to resolve; all it required was the Indomitable Mountain Blade, which was transformed from the Fanged Blade. However, since Lu Ye had already altered his appearance, it wasn't suitable for him to reveal his true form, so he came up with this method.

After a moment's wait, a figure burst in, hurriedly, carrying the scent of blood.

“Greetings, fellow Daoist,” the person said, bowing with cupped hands.

Lu Ye looked up and recognized the newcomer, likely an opponent he had injured in a previous battle. As for their name… he truly didn't know. He had faced so many cultivators recently that he only remembered the names of a few exceptionally strong ones.

“Sit!” Lu Ye gestured with his hand.

The cultivator immediately sat before Lu Ye and began, “Fellow Daoist, my injuries were inflicted by the newly ranked Moon Tier top contender. It feels like a poison, yet not quite…”

He was clearly about to explain his injuries in detail to Lu Ye.

Lu Ye raised a hand to stop him. “I understand the situation. Give me your hand!”

The cultivator quickly extended his hand. Lu Ye took hold of it, then activated his cultivation, instructing, “Relax your mind; do not resist.”

The other party harbored no suspicions. No one dared to act recklessly in this place, so he wasn't worried that Lu Ye would harm him. He immediately relaxed his mind, allowing Lu Ye’s cultivation to flow into his body.

A moment later, he felt Lu Ye’s cultivation circulate through his body, but his injuries showed no signs of improvement. He couldn’t help but ask, “Fellow Daoist, are you sure you can do this?”

Logically, since the other party had accepted the task, they should be confident in their ability. If a task was accepted but couldn't be completed, there would be a corresponding penalty: the amount of Asura Seals the bounty was worth would be deducted from them.

His injuries were incredibly bizarre; he couldn't suppress them with his cultivation. He had even tried cutting away the injured flesh, but it was still useless. Even after excising the original injured tissue, the strange power still lingered in the newly formed wounds.

Lu Ye looked at him, then lightly tapped his wrist with a finger. “Break!”

The moment the word left Lu Ye’s lips, the cultivator’s entire body trembled. He distinctly felt the strange power in his wounds vanish completely, and he suddenly felt much lighter.

His eyes widened significantly. He moved his limbs, checked his injuries, and found that the wounds were already beginning to heal. Overjoyed, he exclaimed, “Fellow Daoist, you are truly… incredible!”

He had no idea how Lu Ye had done it, but the fact was his problem had been solved. These 30,000 Asura Seals were truly well spent!

His attitude towards Lu Ye also changed. He cupped his hands and said, “Many thanks, fellow Daoist. May I ask your esteemed name?”

Someone with such extraordinary abilities was certainly worth befriending. Who knew if he would encounter similar troubles in the future? If he could establish a connection, he wouldn't need to fear anything later on.

Lu Ye waved his hand, adopting a profound and inscrutable demeanor, and said nothing.

Seeing this, the cultivator understood Lu Ye’s meaning. Though regretful, he still offered his thanks and took his leave.

After he left, Lu Ye checked his Asura Command Medallion and found that it indeed had 30,000 more Asura Seals.

This money was truly earned with ease and pleasure.

He immediately accepted another bounty and quietly waited.

Time passed, and one by one, cultivators who had once contended with him in the arena came and went. Initially, Lu Ye would process one bounty before accepting another.

However, after a while, he realized this approach was too inefficient. He simply accepted all the bounty tasks at once and then messaged the cultivators who had posted them, instructing them to come to this small room themselves.

Consequently, a peculiar phenomenon appeared in the Bounty Hall: outside a small room, many cultivators formed a queue, slowly moving forward.

Some bewildered cultivators went to investigate and quickly understood the reason.

Lu Ye spent almost a full day completing over a hundred bounty tasks. The actual problem-solving didn't take long, but he had to put on a show to make people feel that the 30,000 Asura Seals were worth it.

After finishing the first batch of bounties, Lu Ye checked the bounty board again and indeed found several more identical tasks.

Clearly, these people had learned that someone could resolve the strange blade wounds and had all spent Asura Seals to post tasks.

Lu Ye accepted them all without hesitation.

After he finished this batch, a few more appeared on the bounty board.

Lu Ye worked busily and tirelessly. The number of Asura Seals increased at a significant rate, and his mood gradually brightened.

Finally, when the number of Asura Seals accumulated to over six million, there were no more identical tasks on the bounty board. The total count wasn't perfectly accurate, but it was generally consistent. After all, not everyone needed him to resolve the Fanged Power; some didn't know about this service and naturally didn't post a task, while others could ask their elders for help.

Just as Lu Ye was about to accept the bounty for helping people detoxify, the light at the room's entrance suddenly dimmed, and then someone stepped inside.

It wasn't one person who came, but two!

One was extremely tall and powerfully built, walking in front and obscuring the figure of the second person.

Lu Ye looked up and blinked.

None other than Apro and Gusheng, who had arrived.

He hadn't seen them before and thought they might have sought help from their elders to resolve the Fanged Power; surely both the Barbarian tribe and the Yellow Dragon Realm had Sun Tier cultivators permanently stationed in the Asura Arena. But surprisingly, they hadn't, nor had they posted any bounties. Instead, they had come directly to him.

Upon entering the small room, Apro looked down at Lu Ye, making sounds of surprise and wonder.

Gusheng also emerged from behind him, but his gaze wasn't on Lu Ye; instead, it was directed towards the Blood Clone's location.

Lu Ye raised an eyebrow. This Gusheng had incredibly keen perception.

He had already concealed the Blood Clone with a formation, and virtually none of the cultivators who had entered earlier had noticed it. Gusheng, however, had immediately perceived something, demonstrating the strength of his perception.

“Oh?” Apro suddenly let out a sound of surprise, examining Lu Ye more closely, as if trying to see through his disguise.

Hearing his voice, Gusheng finally turned his head, his expression serious.

Lu Ye frowned, wondering what these two intended.

After a long moment, Apro slightly tilted his head and whispered to Gusheng, “Did you make a mistake?”

“Impossible to be mistaken,” Gusheng whispered back.

“If you’re not mistaken, then this is just too… flawless. Did you notice anything?”

“I didn’t notice anything at all.”

“Useless!” Apro reprimanded without mercy.

“Did you notice something, then?”

“Neither did I!”

Lu Ye’s brow furrowed, and he spoke, “Fellow Daoists, what brings you here?”

These two couldn't possibly think he wouldn't hear them whispering like that, could they?

Apro grinned and sat directly in front of Lu Ye, resting his hands on his knees and staring intensely at him. “Hello, fellow Daoist. We meet again.”

Lu Ye remained expressionless. “What do you mean by that, fellow Daoist?”

Apro chuckled. “Fellow Daoist, you already know. Why pretend?”

Lu Ye secretly frowned, gazing at Apro. He wondered if the other party had truly seen through him. It made no sense; his disguise, aided by spirit patterns, shouldn't be so easily deciphered. Yet, Apro had directly called him “Fellow Daoist Lu,” clearly indicating he knew something.

Gusheng also sat down, looking directly at Lu Ye. “While the Weapon Clan is rare, they are not unknown. I once read a classic text in my realm that described the Weapon Clan's peculiar power, which is almost identical to the injuries on us now. That text also recorded that unless forcefully suppressed and removed by powerful means, the Weapon Clan's strange power will only disappear with time. Or… it can be easily resolved by a member of the Weapon Clan themselves.”

Lu Ye suddenly understood. So that was the problem!

Gusheng hailed from the Yellow Dragon Realm, a top-tier realm that naturally recorded many secrets. It wasn't surprising that he had seen some records about the Weapon Clan. If that were all, it would be fine, but the key was that Lu Ye had been helping injured cultivators resolve their issues these past two days, which naturally led Gusheng to connect the dots.

As for his current disguise… in this vast cultivation world, there were numerous methods for self-disguise. If Gusheng had already made up his mind, then even the most perfect disguise would be meaningless.

However…

“I don't know what you two Daoists are talking about.”

Lu Ye couldn't possibly admit his identity. He didn't know these two's dispositions, and he had just beaten them up in the arena. Who knew if they harbored resentment?

If they leaked what was happening here, he would surely incur others' grudges.

Apro said, “Fellow Daoist, we bear you no ill will. We merely wish to…”

Before he could finish, Gusheng interrupted him. “Then we must be mistaken.” He continued, “We heard fellow Daoist can heal our injuries?”

“Yes,” Lu Ye nodded. “Please post a bounty first.”

Apro and Gusheng then proceeded to do as told. Shortly after, Lu Ye indeed saw two more bounty tasks, each for 30,000 Asura Seals, appear on the bounty board.

He accepted them immediately and resolved their issues.

Gusheng instantly felt much lighter. His heavily injured body, compounded by the Fanged Power's influence, had been under far greater strain than Apro's.

“Fellow Daoist, could we exchange Asura Command Medallion imprints?” Gusheng asked. “That way, if we encounter similar injuries in the future, we can contact you directly.”

Many people had made this request before, but Lu Ye had never agreed.

However, after a moment's consideration, he took out his Asura Command Medallion.
