Chapter 1833: Entry into the Realm Observation

Across the entire Blood Desolation Realm, Six-Fingered Mountain was the most unmistakable landmark. For the Blood Clan, venturing deep into the starry sky, Six-Fingered Mountain served as a comforting beacon; seeing it from afar meant they were nearing home, no matter where they returned from.

It also functioned as a natural barrier for the realm. Many years ago, a celestial catastrophe swept through the realm. A vast meteor shower, drifting from an unknown origin in the starry sky, was heading directly for the Blood Desolation Realm. Six-Fingered Mountain, acting as a natural shield, intercepted every meteor hurtling towards the realm. In that disaster, which would have devastated any other realm, the Blood Desolation Realm miraculously emerged completely unscathed.

For the Blood Clan of the Blood Desolation Realm, Six-Fingered Mountain was more than just a uniquely shaped landmark; it was akin to a totem. Now, however, this very totem showed signs of collapse. As Six-Fingered Mountain crumbled, the already turbulent realm became even more unstable. Deep fissures appeared across the Blood Desolation Realm. Many unsuspecting Blood Clan members screamed as they plummeted into these chasms. In mere moments, countless lives within the realm perished. The entire world presented a scene of impending doomsday.

Blood Clan members below the Constellation rank were utterly terrified and restless. They had no idea what was happening, only that death was constantly manifesting around them. The six Blood Clan Sun-Illuminators were in a frantic state. The valley they occupied was situated at the connection point between the palm and the arm [of the realm]. As Six-Fingered Mountain collapsed, countless large and small fragments rained down upon them. Yet, they dared not evade, for they were currently channeling the full power of the Ancestral Artifact. Any sudden movement could jeopardize all their previous efforts. Forced by circumstances, they could only continuously strike, blasting away the falling debris. However, such actions were merely a temporary fix, not a solution.

“Six-Fingered Mountain has fallen!” one Sun-Illuminator exclaimed, stealing a glance towards the mountain amidst the chaos. The other Sun-Illuminators, hearing this, quickly looked up and witnessed the astonishing sight. The six finger-shaped peaks were slowly toppling forward at a visible rate. While the speed of the collapse itself didn't seem fast to the naked eye, the sheer scale of such a massive structure falling generated an incredibly terrifying momentum.

The Sun-Illuminators could not comprehend why this was happening. Living in the Blood Desolation Realm as descendants of the Blood Ancestor, they naturally knew that the realm itself was formed from the Ancestor's remains. In essence, the entire Blood Desolation Realm comprised countless layers of dense earth and rock, encasing a severed arm of the Blood Ancestor. Six-Fingered Mountain was, in fact, the Blood Ancestor's hand. Logically, even if Six-Fingered Mountain truly collapsed, it should only be the outer layers of earth and rock giving way. The inner core, being the indestructible remains of the Blood Ancestor, should remain unaffected. Yet, the current situation showed not only the outer layers crumbling but also the internal core collapsing!

With the fall of Six-Fingered Mountain, the entire realm underwent further transformation. This time, it was a true cataclysm; the topography of the realm suddenly shifted terrifyingly. Beginning from the middle of the realm, its entire front half abruptly tilted upwards! The tremors caused by this change were too immense. The Sun-Illuminators could no longer maintain their footing and soared into the air. Their spiritual senses confirmed a horrific scene: the Blood Desolation Realm had become a living hell, filled with death and gore everywhere. Countless clan members had already perished, especially those below the Constellation rank, nearly half of whom had died. The remaining half were fleeing in panic, yet had no idea where to go.

Rumbling sounds echoed from every corner, like muffled thunder, shaking the souls of the Blood Clan cultivators. These tremors slowly subsided after dozens of breaths, and the realm's upheaval finally settled. The expressions of the Blood Clan Sun-Illuminators were filled with utter shock, for at that moment, the realm they had inhabited for countless years had undergone a drastic transformation in its very shape.

Originally, when viewed from the starry sky, the Blood Desolation Realm resembled a slightly bent arm, with the palm facing forward, held flat. Now, however, it had become an arm bent at a right angle. The formerly flat palm had transformed into a tightly clenched fist, raised high and pointed towards the starry sky, as if poised to strike some great, unseen danger. The collapse of Six-Fingered Mountain they had witnessed earlier was undoubtedly the process of the hand transforming from an open palm into a fist... The entire realm seemed to have come alive. Such a massive transformation's impact on the living beings within it was unimaginable.

“The Ancestor’s power... it has truly awakened!” one Sun-Illuminator murmured. Even though it was a core belief of the Blood Clan that their Ancestor would one day be reborn, witnessing this unfold before their very eyes was still incredibly difficult to believe.

“This is not the time for an awakening!” another Sun-Illuminator lamented, deeply distressed. They couldn't understand why the Ancestor's power chose to revive at this critical juncture, neither sooner nor later. At any other time, such an awakening would have been cause for widespread celebration throughout the Blood Clan, but not now.

“What about Square Inch Mountain?” a third Blood Clan Sun-Illuminator suddenly exclaimed, startled. They had previously been working together to channel the Ancestral Artifact's power, restricting Square Inch Mountain's movement. Now, with the realm's immense transformation, the Ancestral Artifact's power had been disrupted, and thus, the force restraining Square Inch Mountain's movement no longer existed.

As this Sun-Illuminator spoke, the attention of all Blood Clan members was drawn to an object: a relatively small meteor, resembling a miniature mountain, that had broken through the realm's blockade and was hurtling directly towards a certain point in the Blood Desolation Realm.

“This is bad!” The faces of several Sun-Illuminators changed dramatically in unison. They had assumed that once Square Inch Mountain broke free from the Ancestral Artifact's restraint, it would quickly escape. After all, such an opportunity was rare; missing it would mean they would be forced back into the previous stalemate once they reactivated the Ancestral Artifact's power. To their surprise, Square Inch Mountain had no intention of leaving; instead, it was heading straight for a collision.

If it were merely a small, artificial mountain-like meteor striking the realm, it would be insignificant and wouldn't cause much impact on the Blood Desolation Realm. But this was no ordinary meteor; this was Square Inch Mountain, an entire realm in itself! With a tremendous crash, a sound so violent that even the Sun-Illuminators had never heard its like before, an even more terrifying surge of energy, far exceeding that of the Ancestor's power revival, erupted from the point of impact in the next instant.

At the impact site, within a radius of tens of thousands of miles, all vegetation vanished and all life was extinguished instantly. The horrifying impact swept outwards, causing continuous increases in casualties. Many Blood Clan members who had miraculously survived the previous upheaval could not escape this catastrophe, turning to dust before they even had time to react. Viewed from the starry sky, the massive Blood Desolation Realm was, at that very moment, knocked off its original position by the collision.

A Sun-Illuminator could not help but cry out in anguish, “Ancestor, why have you abandoned your people!” All the realm's changes today were the adverse consequences of the Ancestor's power awakening. What should have been a joyous occasion for the Blood Clan had turned into a disaster due to ill timing.

“Enemy attack!” A furious shout rang out as the aura of Sun-Illuminators suddenly descended. Eight Sun-Illuminators from the Pygmy race, led by Yuqing Lou, had surged into the Blood Desolation Realm. They had previously received instructions from Lu Ye’s talent tree clone to prepare outside Square Inch Mountain. They had clearly observed all the changes in the Blood Desolation Realm from a distance. Their initial primary objective was to harass the Blood Clan Sun-Illuminators while Lu Ye exerted his power, thereby allowing Square Inch Mountain to break free from the Blood Desolation Realm's grip and escape. However, things had progressed too smoothly, and the Pygmy race was no longer in a hurry to leave. Since the Blood Clan was so 'hospitable,' they decided to enter the realm for a closer look! Lu Ye's talent tree clone had even slightly manipulated Square Inch Mountain, altering its trajectory. Otherwise, it wouldn't have been so easy for Square Inch Mountain to collide directly with the Blood Desolation Realm. Amidst the chaos of the Blood Desolation Realm, the eight Pygmy Sun-Illuminators descended, radiating murderous intent!

Not only that, but the realm's turmoil continued. From within Square Inch Mountain, which had collided with the Blood Desolation Realm, figures charged out. It was the Pygmy cultivators' army! War had fully erupted, but unlike the previous invasion of Square Inch Mountain by the Blood Clan, the roles of attacker and defender had now reversed. The Blood Clan found themselves on the defensive.

At this very moment, within the underground Blood River of the Blood Desolation Realm, Lu Ye sat with his eyes closed, his consciousness radiating throughout the entire realm, a look of delight on his face. He felt an immense sense of novelty, like a child with a new toy. His main body, along with the seven Blood Treasure clones, had indeed dismantled the Blood Clan Sun-Illuminators' restraint via the Ancestral Artifact, successfully activating the Blood Desolation Realm. Once the Blood Clan Sun-Illuminators ceased channeling the Ancestral Artifact's power, this activation became even simpler.

To put it plainly, the process of activating the Blood Desolation Realm was like controlling a unique magic artifact, and this artifact was the Blood Ancestor's arm. He could make this arm clench into a fist, or bend and straighten it. There was a slight sense of detachment, not quite as effortless as moving his own limb. Yet, even such simple manipulation brought catastrophic disaster to all living beings within the entire realm. Lu Ye even had a feeling that he could genuinely wield this entire realm as an arm. Should some colossal beast attack from the starry sky, he could certainly use it to fight. There was too much to explore and understand, but currently, there was no time for it.

The great war had already erupted. The Pygmy race held a decisive advantage; below the Sun-Illuminator level, the Blood Clan had suffered countless casualties from the recent upheaval, with many Constellation-ranked members injured. With the Pygmy elites fully engaged, the Blood Clan was utterly disoriented. Most Blood Clan members were powerless to resist, and the few who could were quickly surrounded and annihilated. In the Sun-Illuminators' battlefield, eight against six, the Pygmy side also held the advantage. However, killing a Blood Clan Sun-Illuminator was no simple feat. Amidst the vast seas of blood, the Blood Clan Sun-Illuminators' figures flickered in and out of sight, making it difficult for the Pygmy Sun-Illuminators to accurately target them. Rushing in recklessly would be ill-advised; they could only engage in a protracted struggle, slowly seeking opportune moments.
