Chapter 1815: Your person?

Lu Ye only stayed on Tri-Territory Island for half a month, but during that time, he depleted nearly two hundred million units from its spirit jade reserves. This was also why he never concerned himself with financial matters; whenever he had a need, Tri-Territory Island's treasury would open its doors to him without limit, and neither Luan Xiao'e nor Tang Jun would raise any objections.

The Talent Tree's fuel reserves were sufficiently replenished, and Lu Ye even set aside a batch of fire-element resources as a backup. During his stay, he also made time to visit Hua Ci in the mermaid tribe's territory. Unfortunately, despite several years having passed, the amber that sealed Hua Ci remained unchanged, showing no significant alterations.

The only thing that pleased Lu Ye was his perception that Hua Ci's strength had significantly increased. This was not difficult to understand, as Lu Ye could sense that the amber sealing Hua Ci had been continuously absorbing the seawater of the Myriad Manifestations Sea. It seemed the amber possessed a refining ability; even if its efficiency didn't match that of the Talent Tree, it was still far more potent than a cultivator's normal cultivation rate. The energy generated from refining the Myriad Manifestations Sea's water was undoubtedly being absorbed by Hua Ci, naturally leading to an increase in her power. Compared to Hua Ci's own progress, the advancement of the Pixiu she cradled seemed even more astonishing. Lu Ye eagerly anticipated what state Hua Ci would be in once she was unsealed.

After spending half a month back in the Myriad Manifestations Sea, Lu Ye began his journey home to Kyushu. He was already quite familiar with this route. Twenty days later, he returned to Kyushu once more.

The Xiangyin sisters diligently guarded the core, while Yang Ling and Hu Dequan were nowhere to be found. According to Xiangyin, they had already entered Kyushu, though their activities there remained unknown.

Moments later, inside the Kyushu Guardian Hall, Lu Ye placed a large pile of storage rings onto the table before him, causing a prolonged clinking and clanking sound. The current Kyushu Guardian, formerly a sect master from Leizhou, stared wide-eyed, his face filled with astonishment. "Brother Lu, what is all this?" he asked, casually picking up a storage ring. His spiritual sense probed its contents, almost blinding him with what he found.

The ring was absolutely overflowing with spirit jade.

"This..." The sect master was utterly stunned. He picked up another storage ring, and again gasped, "Oh, this..." It, too, contained a vast quantity of spirit jade.

"Stop gawking," Lu Ye interrupted. "These are resources I brought back from Tri-Territory Island. Find some people to count them, then divide them equally into three portions. Kyushu will keep one, and the remaining two will be sent to the Qingli Dao Realm and Yuluo Realm."

The sect master asked, incredulously, "Has our Tri-Territory Island developed so extensively?" Although Kyushu had been aware of the Myriad Manifestations Sea for over a decade, and the first group of cultivators had been there for some years, the cultivators who remained on their home soil had never actually received any tangible benefits from that side—until now. And such substantial benefits!

Lu Ye smiled and patted his shoulder. "Things will only get better from here!" He then cautioned, "When selecting people for this task, make sure they are trustworthy. Do not embezzle anything privately; if I discover any such actions in the future, I will show no mercy."

The sect master immediately nodded. "Don't worry, I'll personally oversee it."

Lu Ye teleported away and quickly arrived at the core. He waved his hand, saying, "You can withdraw now; there's no need to guard this area anymore." The Xiangyin sisters acknowledged his command and immediately headed towards Kyushu.

Lu Ye stood contemplating before the core for a while, and eventually, with a flash, he entered the core world.

Within the Origin Space, Lu Ye sat cross-legged, facing the Origin, which pulsed like a small sun. In the final moments of the Black Abyss conflict, the Origin, under Old Fang's control, surged into Lu Ye's spiritual sea, and it took Lu Ye three arduous years to finally refine it. Within the Origin, both Old Fang's consciousness and the Blood Ancestor's treasure blood consciousness had been thoroughly refined away. One could say the Origin was now completely pure, free of any remaining sacred power. If this were the only issue, Lu Ye would have no further tasks to busy himself with.

The crucial point, however, was that the Blood Ancestor's treasure blood had been corrupting the Fangcun Mountain core for years, and its influence extended beyond just the Origin. The Origin was the primary target for the treasure blood's corruption, as control over it would allow the blood's consciousness to dominate the entire core world. Yet, throughout the entire core world, beyond the corrupted Origin, the realm itself still harbored lingering traces of the treasure blood's power. For instance, blood rain still fell occasionally within the core world, though far less frequently than before. Lu Ye had even personally investigated the spirit jade vein within the core world, finding it also contaminated by the sacred power. If these sacred powers lingering within the core world weren't completely purged, no one could predict what changes would occur once the three parts of Fangcun Mountain fully merged with the core, or if the sacred power might even infect the Little Human cultivators. If that were to happen, all Little Humans would transform into primordial Blood Clan, which would undoubtedly be a tragedy and an unacceptable outcome for their race.

Therefore, Lu Ye's immediate task was to thoroughly purify the entire core world before the three parts of Fangcun Mountain could merge with it. Under normal circumstances, he wouldn't be able to achieve such a feat. Even if he weren't merely a Moonshine cultivator, but a Sunlit, this task would still be incredibly difficult. However, having refined the core Origin, he could now leverage its power to clearly perceive every corner of the core world, turning the impossible into a possibility! Simply put, by utilizing the core Origin, he could extend the power of the Talent Tree to any part of the core world, thereby purifying all lingering sacred power within the realm.

This was not a task that could be completed in a day or two, and Lu Ye was mentally prepared for it. Moreover, he had already amassed a sufficient supply of Talent Tree fuel, eliminating any concerns about depletion. Immersing his mind and drawing upon the core Origin, Lu Ye extended the Talent Tree's power in all directions, slowly eroding the sacred power that lingered within the realm.

Time flowed by, unmindful of the passage of days and nights. One day, Lu Ye suddenly detected a violent tremor emanating from the core world, causing him to frown. Before entering the Origin Space, he had already sealed off the core world, fearing that intruders might be contaminated by the sacred power remnants of the Blood Ancestor's treasure blood, not merely that they would disturb him. He had already instructed the Guardian Hall to notify the cultivators of Kyushu, expecting no one to disregard his instructions. As for the Xiangyin sisters, they certainly wouldn't defy him.

Puzzled, Lu Ye extended his spiritual sense to probe outward, wanting to discover who was triggering the core world's seal. He soon wore an expression of surprise, for beside the core stood the Xiangyin sisters, Yang Ling, and Hu Dequan, along with two other familiar figures. At that very moment, the Xiangyin sisters were trembling, enveloped by a powerful and hostile spiritual sense that made them feel as though their lives could be forfeit at any moment. The source of the spiritual sense was a cultivator in green robes, whose powerful aura clearly indicated his status as a Sunlit. Beside him, a dignified woman stood quietly, speaking softly to Yang Ling and Hu Dequan. The Xiangyin sisters quickly realized the identities of these two Sunlit cultivators: they were, astonishingly, Sunlit cultivators from the Little Human race!

In a flash, ripples spread across the core, and Lu Ye's figure emerged. The Xiangyin sisters immediately turned their pleading gazes toward him. With a single glance, Lu Ye understood the situation. The Little Human race and the Blood Clan harbored an ancient enmity. Chen Xuanhai and Su Yuqing had come to inspect the core, and the Xiangyin sisters, unaware of the circumstances, had tried to obstruct them, inadvertently revealing their identities as primordial Blood Clan members, leading to Chen Xuanhai suppressing them on the spot.

"Senior Brother Chen, Senior Sister Su!" Lu Ye stepped forward and greeted them.

Su Yuqing, who had been conversing with Yang Ling and Hu Dequan, turned to look at him and offered a bright smile, which startled both Yang Ling and Hu Dequan, as the Sunlit cultivator had previously maintained a stern expression. Hearing Lu Ye's form of address for the two Sunlit cultivators, both couldn't help but recall their initial encounter with him. This person... was indeed a Martial Uncle. They had been addressing each other as brothers until now, but their seniority would likely drop a notch from this point on.

Chen Xuanhai also looked at Lu Ye, nodding slightly. "Well done!" he praised. Throughout their hurried journey, both he and Su Yuqing had felt a degree of apprehension, as neither was certain if events truly aligned with their conjectures until they saw the core with their own eyes. Only upon arriving and truly seeing the core settled in this place! Even though they had never seen the core before, the profound stirrings within their hearts were unmistakable; the rockery-like object before them was undoubtedly the core that the Little Human race had lost for countless years.

Reflecting on it, Lu Ye was indeed a great benefactor to the Little Human race, especially for the eastern region. They had won the Black Abyss Martial Arts Competition with his assistance back then, and now he was again the one who had recovered this crucial artifact. A simple word of praise could no longer fully convey the Little Human race's gratitude. Fortunately, Junior Sister Su had the foresight to become his Dao Companion early on. By this reckoning, Lu Ye could be considered half a member of the Little Human race, and it was only right for him to contribute to his own people.

"Senior Brother, you flatter me," Lu Ye said humbly. He glanced at the struggling Xiangyin sisters and added, "Senior Brother, please release them first. They are my subordinates."

Su Yuqing, with a faint, charming smile, slightly narrowed her eyes. "Your subordinates?" she echoed.

A sudden chill ran down Lu Ye's spine. He quickly clarified, "They are my subordinates. They were instrumental in the previous struggle for the core."

"Oh?" Chen Xuanhai raised an eyebrow. Though he didn't fully understand the situation, he nonetheless released his suppression on the Xiangyin sisters. The two sisters stumbled slightly, feeling as though they had narrowly escaped death.

Su Yuqing asked, "You mentioned a struggle for the core? With whom did you contend?"

Lu Ye sighed. "It's a long story. Shall we find somewhere to discuss it at length?"

"Alright," Su Yuqing nodded. She was also very curious about how Lu Ye had managed to retrieve the core from the anomaly.

"If the two Martial Uncles don't mind," Yang Ling offered, "you're welcome to come to my and Brother Hu's residence. We've found a place to settle in this realm; though not large, its tranquility is its greatest asset."

"Let's go," Chen Xuanhai said, clasping his hands behind his back and gesturing for Yang Ling to lead the way.
