Inside the bamboo building, Hua Ci smiled sweetly, while Lu Ye looked indignant.

After a moment, Hua Ci chuckled softly. “You saved me once, and I saved you twice. By that count, you still owe me one. So, even if someone needs to repay with their body, it should be you offering yourself to me!”

“You make a very good point!” Lu Ye nodded repeatedly. What reason was there to refuse such a good offer? With that, he took two steps forward, raised his hands, and began to unbutton his clothes.

Hua Ci’s smile remained unchanged, as she simply watched him.

Lu Ye unbuttoned his top and was about to take off his trousers when Hua Ci’s eyebrow twitched.

“Sister Hua Ci!” Ling Yu suddenly pushed the door open, and her gaze met Lu Ye, who was standing there with his top open and his trousers in his hand.

The atmosphere suddenly fell silent.

“Excuse me!” Ling Yu quickly retreated, softly closing the door. Her heart pounded, and her cheeks flushed. She had no idea when Hua Ci and Senior Brother Yi Ye had…

No wonder Senior Brother Yi Ye had traveled thousands of miles to find Sister Hua Ci.

Inside the room, Lu Ye unhurriedly put his clothes back on. He nodded to Hua Ci and said, “You’re formidable!”

Hua Ci picked up her cup, took a delicate sip, and asked languidly, “So, what are you here for this time?”

Lu Ye composed himself and explained his purpose for coming.

Hua Ci nodded. “I see… I’ll consider it.”

Lu Ye didn’t pressure her, knowing such matters couldn’t be forced. “Alright,” he said, “take your time considering it.”

He turned, pushed the door open, and walked out. He saw Kong Niu standing there; their eyes met. The usually stoic Kong Niu forced a smile that looked worse than a cry at Lu Ye. Ruan Lingyu stood nearby, her face flushed. She seemed afraid to look at Lu Ye, but occasionally stole a glance.

Lu Ye felt it was necessary to explain to her, as the young girl seemed to have been startled. However, before he could speak, Ruan Lingyu spoke first: “Senior Brother Yi Ye, are you done already?”

After speaking, she realized her words were inappropriate and quickly added, “I mean, don’t you need to spend more time with Sister Hua Ci?”

Lu Ye took a deep breath and decided to say nothing more.

The door behind him opened. Hua Ci stepped out from inside. “I’ve thought it over,” she said.

“That fast?” Lu Ye was astonished.

“Weren’t you pretty fast yourself?” Hua Ci teased.

Lu Ye stared at her slender, pale neck, forcing himself to resist the urge to strangle her. He suddenly realized that coming to find Hua Ci this time had been an utterly terrible mistake.

Women like her should be left to fend for themselves.

Hua Ci explained to Ruan Lingyu and Kong Niu: “As you’ve heard, Yi Ye is a disciple of the Jade Blood Sect. He came this time to take us to the Jade Blood Sect. I’ve decided to go with him. If you two are willing, you can come along. If not, you can go your own way.”

Only then did Ruan Lingyu understand why Lu Ye had come. She immediately nodded excitedly, “I’m willing!”

Kong Niu remained silent, only nodding slightly to show his agreement.

“Shall we go then?” Hua Ci looked at Lu Ye.

Going with Lu Ye to the Jade Blood Sect would be different. With Lu Ye looking after them, they shouldn’t encounter similar incidents again.

The giant eagle’s back was spacious, more than enough for four people. When the giant eagle flapped its wings and soared into the sky, Kong Niu’s face instantly turned pale, and Ruan Lingyu screamed repeatedly. Only Hua Ci remained outwardly composed, though her tightly clenched fists revealed her inner unease.

After overcoming their initial discomfort, Ruan Lingyu quickly became excited, occasionally spreading her arms and cheering loudly. Even Hua Ci occasionally leaned over to look down, like a young girl who had never seen the world.

Kong Niu sat rigidly, his face as pale as paper.

Noticing his unusual state, Lu Ye asked with concern, “Kong Niu, are you alright?”

Kong Niu’s lips twitched. He painfully forced out a few words: “I’m fine. It’s just too high.”

Both Hua Ci and Ruan Lingyu looked at Kong Niu in surprise, never imagining that this stoic, burly man would have such a weak side.

Lu Ye had spent about five days on the journey there, and the return journey was the same.

Several days later, the giant eagle landed on the plaza of the Jade Blood Sect’s station. The group dismounted one by one. Kong Niu immediately dropped to his knees, gasping for air, like someone who had just climbed out of the water after nearly drowning.

The young girl, Ruan Lingyu, gently patted his back.

Hua Ci stood with her hands clasped in front of her abdomen, looking around. “This is the Jade Blood Sect’s station?” she asked.

Lu Ye took out some Scarlet Trout to reward Little Ash, while nodding. “It’s a bit desolate, after all, no one has managed it for decades,” he said.

After eating a few Scarlet Trout, Little Ash spread its wings and flew off, landing on a nearby hilltop.

Lu Ye then activated his Battle Mark to send a message, informing his Second Senior Sister of his safe return. Only then did he lead Hua Ci and the others to explore the station.

Truth be told, Lu Ye wasn’t very familiar with his own station. He hadn't been to many areas. The place he frequented most was the training room, where he mainly cultivated.

This exploration, however, proved to be quite enjoyable.

After finding accommodation for Hua Ci and the others, he then led them on a tour of the marketplace.

This was Lu Ye’s first time visiting the marketplace. Chen Yu, who somehow got news of his arrival, quickly came to greet him. The marketplace at the Jade Blood Sect was quite large, bigger than any Lu Ye had seen before. It was located on the outermost perimeter of the station. Rogue cultivators were a cautious lot. When Chen Yu learned that Hua Ci was a medical cultivator, his attitude became even more enthusiastic. There were very few medical cultivators among rogue cultivators. Shui Yuan smiled faintly. “As the station guardian, you have the right to decide whether to admit people. Previously, not admitting people was due to circumstances. And all those rogue cultivators who wish to join can be freely accepted. While he was eating, Yi Yi ran over and sat beside Lu Ye, watching him with a smile.

“What’s the good news?” Lu Ye looked at her.

“Nothing in particular,” Yi Yi shook her head. “I just haven’t seen you in a few days, so I came to visit.”

“So mysterious!” Lu Ye swallowed his food. “Oh, by the way, I have something to tell you. Do you remember the girl, Ling Yu?”

“Yes, I remember her, and Sister Hua Ci too.” Yi Yi nodded, suddenly looking a little nervous. “What happened to them?”

“Wait for me!” Lu Ye called out, turning his head. But there was no reply. He couldn't help but shake his head. “So impulsive,” he muttered.

He finished everything on the table in a few quick bites. Lu Ye patted his stomach and stood up. “Second Senior Sister,” he said, “I’ll take her into the station.”

“Go on,” Shui Yuan replied, collecting the dishes.

Lu Ye walked out and looked around, but couldn't find Yi Yi or Amber!

He finally determined they were no longer in the main sect.

Entering the station, he finally found Yi Yi, who was excitedly chatting with Ling Yu.

Lu Ye looked at her, completely puzzled. “How did you get in?” he asked.

Yi Yi was Amber’s companion spirit, and Amber was Yi Yi’s beast companion. Logically, they shouldn't have been able to enter the station without Lu Ye.

Yi Yi proudly raised her right hand. As spiritual power surged, a Battle Mark suddenly appeared on the back of her hand!

Lu Ye was greatly surprised. “You can have a Mark too?”

“The Sect Master branded it on me,” Yi Yi said, giggling. “I’m also considered a Jade Blood Sect disciple now!”

This is possible? Lu Ye was a little stunned.

However, on second thought, this was good news. If Yi Yi had a Battle Mark, she and Amber could enter and exit the station whenever they wanted, and wouldn’t be restricted by Lu Ye.

Yi Yi yelped and immediately hid behind Hua Ci. Then, she poked her small head out and stuck her tongue out at Lu Ye.
