Chapter 1209: Four Saints

A colossal face appeared outside this space, and a terrifying pressure, like divine might, seeped in from beyond, causing the entire space to tremble violently, as if on the verge of collapse.

“As expected, he’s here.”

Zhou Yuan’s eyes narrowed as he gazed at the colossal face. That familiar appearance belonged to Grand Elder Wan Zu.

Cang Yuan stood with his hands behind his back, looking up and smiling. “Wan Zu, you truly are a persistent ghost. Still haven’t given up after all these years.”

The colossal face outside the space rippled, and a vast, indifferent voice descended: “Cang Yuan, you secretly stole the Divine God Stone, destroying the hopes of all heavens. Your crime is truly heinous.”

Cang Yuan shook his head. “Don’t try to pin that on me. What I did was for the sake of all heavens. You are too extreme; that path would only destroy them. I couldn’t just stand by and watch.”

Grand Elder Wan Zu’s gaze pierced through the space, finally resting on the crystal coffin. He slowly said, “Cang Yuan, she has not yet awakened. There is still room for negotiation. Hand her over, and we can let bygones be bygones.”

Cang Yuan chuckled faintly. “Wan Zu, do you really think I would give up?”

Grand Elder Wan Zu fell silent, then finally said, “It seems that in the end, you and I can only settle this with a fight.”

Cang Yuan’s hands dropped to his sides, and his expression grew calm. In that instant, Zhou Yuan felt an indescribable power radiating from his lean body. Under that might, the entire space seemed to whimper.

Heaven and earth changed color.

At Cang Yuan’s shoulders, two sacred light-lotuses gradually emerged, then slowly blossomed.

The Dual Lotus Realm!

He knew there was no possibility of peaceful negotiation with Wan Zu. Their positions were fundamentally different, so even though they were both Saints of all heavens, they could not be considered allies.

Outside the space, the colossal face writhed, transforming into countless converging rays of light that formed a human figure—Grand Elder Wan Zu’s true form.

At this moment, two lotuses also emerged at his shoulders.

“Cang Yuan, everyone says you are the most likely to become the fourth Ancient Venerable of the Ruin Temple, but I don’t believe it,” Grand Elder Wan Zu said calmly.

In terms of cultivation years, Grand Elder Wan Zu had actually cultivated longer than Cang Yuan. He had also been in the Dual Lotus Realm for countless years, harboring great hopes of reaching the Triple Lotus Realm. Unfortunately, after all this time, he had never been able to take that final step.

Therefore, he believed that if they refined the Divine God Stone, the number of Triple Lotus Realm Saints in their all heavens would undoubtedly surpass those of the Saint Race. It might even allow them to break through the Saint Realm and enter an unprecedented cultivation level!

At that point, it might even be possible to contend with the Saint God of the Saint Race.

Regrettably, this grand plan was directly thwarted by Cang Yuan.

“Believe it or not, we’ll find out once we fight!” Cang Yuan’s words were calm, devoid of ripples, yet an undeniable aura of dominance surged within them.

Chi Jing and the others showed reverence in their eyes. Although Cang Yuan had not displayed his Saint might for many years, no one could forget that Grand Elder Cang Yuan once bore the formidable title of the Black Emperor.

Such a dominant title was earned through his truly remarkable achievements in battle!

During the World Annihilation War, many Saints from the Saint Race were slain by him.

The two Saints’ confrontation caused the sun, moon, and stars to tremble.

Furthermore, at this moment, Zhou Yuan realized that what they were witnessing was merely the visible conflict. In places unseen and unfelt by them, other Saints were likely engaging in their own struggles and confrontations.

For today’s events concerned two factions.

The two highest-level factions in all heavens.

As Zhou Yuan pondered this, a black hole suddenly formed somewhere outside this space, and a bead was spewed out from it.

The bead drifted with the wind, expanding until it transformed into an eerily handsome man. His long black hair cascaded down his back, swaying without a breeze, each strand exuding an unsettling aura.

He merely stood there, yet the void behind him seemed to reflect countless ghostly shadows.

The eerie man toyed with a string of dark red beads on his wrist, smiling faintly. “This place is truly lively. It wasn’t easy to sneak in.”

Zhou Yuan’s expression involuntarily shifted as he gazed at the eerie man, for he recognized him. This was Grand Elder Yaoku from the Hunyuan Heaven’s Puppet Domain. It was said that each of his hair strands could transform into a puppet, and when billions of strands moved together, they formed a terrifyingly vast torrent of puppets.

“Yaoku, are you also going to intervene?” Cang Yuan watched the black-clad man, saying slowly.

The eerie man revealed a smile more stunning than a woman’s. “Cang Yuan, all the Saints of all heavens are watching now. Since you chose a different path, you have naturally become our adversary.”

“So don’t blame me for what we need to do to complete our plan.”

“Grand Elder Yaoku, you’re worried that Grand Elder Wan Zu can’t withstand my master and me fighting together, which is why you went to such lengths to send yourself in, isn’t it?” A laugh rang out as Zhuan Zhu appeared beside Cang Yuan, smiling as he watched the eerie man outside the space.

Grand Elder Yaoku stared at Zhuan Zhu, smacking his lips. “You brat, you’ve truly got some skill, reaching the Saint realm.”

He didn’t deny it. Although Zhuan Zhu was only in the Single Lotus Realm, he was still a Saint. Grand Elder Wan Zu’s struggle against Cang Yuan alone was already unpredictable, and with Zhuan Zhu added, there would be almost no chance of victory. While Yaoku claimed his presence was to deal with Cang Yuan, he was actually targeting Zhuan Zhu.

Yi Yan and the others watched the scene, their scalps tingling. Now it was a confrontation of four Saints; truly terrifying.

Cang Yuan glanced back at the Ancestral Dragon Lantern burning within the crystal coffin, then said to Zhou Yuan, “Protect Yaoyao well.”

Zhou Yuan nodded with a solemn expression. “If anyone wants to harm Yaoyao, they’ll have to step over my dead body first.”

Cang Yuan smiled. He still remembered when he first met Zhou Yuan and entrusted Yaoyao to him; Zhou Yuan had said those very words back then.

“Let’s go. Today, master and disciple, we fight together.” Cang Yuan said no more, simply greeting Zhuan Zhu. The two stepped out, instantly appearing outside the space.

The might of Saints was too terrifying. If they were to fight within this space, it would likely collapse.

Outside the space, four Saints faced off.

The void twisted layer by layer, gradually obscuring all four figures. Yet, the terrifying pressure occasionally radiating from them still sent shivers down one’s spine.

Buzz!

However, with Cang Yuan and Zhuan Zhu’s departure, boundless power suddenly descended outside this space. As this power contacted the spatial boundary, an immense barrier appeared, blocking the force.

But with the continuous impact, cracks still appeared in the barrier.

Then, Chi Jing, Zhou Yuan, and the others watched with grim expressions as streams of light drilled in through those cracks.

Within those streams of light were auras of the Law Domain and Nascent Source realms.

Chi Jing’s wine-red short hair fluttered gently, and her eyes became exceptionally sharp.

“Everyone, it’s our turn now.”

Hearing Chi Jing’s words, Zhou Yuan took a deep breath. He turned to glance at Yaoyao in the crystal coffin, then slowly clenched his fists. Within his Divine Dwelling, the seated Nascent Source also opened its eyes, and vast Genesis Qi gradually surged.

I’ve worked hard for many years, waiting for this day...

If anyone tries to ruin it...

Killing intent flashed in Zhou Yuan’s eyes: then they shall be annihilated!
