Chapter 778: Closing Remarks

The Archfiend has concluded. After reading the comments, I noticed many readers felt the book was too short and that much more could have been written.

However, I believe that Meng Chuan becoming an Eight-Calamity Primeval Soul expert was the perfect point to conclude the story.

The inspiration for this book came from the many real-life individuals who dedicate themselves to society. For instance, scientists who have devoted decades to their research, soldiers who have sacrificed their lives, anti-drug police officers who engage in life-or-death struggles with criminals, firefighters who bravely confront raging infernos, and doctors who face viruses and dangers head-on. It is because of their sacrifices that we can enjoy a peaceful life. Yet, many of these heroes remain nameless.

What I, Tomato, most wanted to write about were the valiant heroes of the Cangyuan world who fought against the demon race—the names of the Gods and Demons, and the ordinary names recorded in countless scrolls. They are the backbone of humanity!

After Meng Chuan became a Calamity Realm expert, what I most wanted to write about was his journey to becoming an Eight-Calamity expert.

Because by becoming an Eight-Calamity expert, these heroes could be brought back from the River of Time. I felt that this would bring a complete and satisfying conclusion to the book.

As for what comes after the Eight-Calamity Realm?

Stories of venturing through endless time and space? Stories of further cultivation? Those would primarily be about Meng Chuan's personal pursuits and his enjoyment of life.

The Archfiend concludes here. I, Tomato, began writing in 2005, which means I've been writing for over fifteen years now.

My longest work is "Swallowed Star," with over 4.7 million characters. From "Swallowed Star," "Desolate Era," "Coiling Dragon," "Stellar Transformations," "The Nine Cauldrons," "Seeking the Flying Sword Path," "Lord Xue Ying," "Devouring the Heavens," and "Legend of Xingfeng" to the current "The Archfiend," I have completed a total of ten novels.

Over fifteen years, ten books, and more than 28 million characters.

Having completed ten books, as an author, I believe it's time to have some ambition and write something that truly represents me.

Next, I will take a break and prepare diligently.

This time, I haven't set an exact date for starting a new book.
