Chapter 619: Sixth Calamity Elder The Order of Elder Sanshi

"Here are three Undying Charms. Keep them with you and leave your mark on each of them." Meng Chuan pulled out the three charms and solemnly handed them to his grandson. "Even though your parents are trying their best to protect you, the enemy's methods are unpredictable. They might discover your existence, and could kill you with a single thought. With these Undying Charms, each one can buy you an hour, giving your grandfather enough time to save you."

Meng Yu’s heart tightened at the words.

The powerful enemy, feared even by his grandfather and parents, was among the strongest of Tribulation Eminences. Just by knowing of his existence and his name, they could indeed kill him through karma with a single thought.

"I will carry them with me always," Meng Yu replied. He carefully put away the three Undying Charms, leaving his Essence Soul mark on them, resolving to keep them close, as they were the most important items for his survival.

Only then did Meng Chuan slightly relax.

He hadn’t lied.

If Old Man Sanshi discovered any information about Meng Yu, he could indeed annihilate him with a single thought.

Even with his personal close protection, Meng Chuan wasn't confident he could shield his grandson, because 'karma attacks' were exceptionally difficult to obstruct.

There were two methods to obstruct such attacks. The first was to significantly weaken the transmission of karma. For instance, a 'Life World' could greatly diminish karmic transmission, and the 'Heaven and Earth Grand Hall' refined by Ancestor Cang Yuan also had a weakening effect. As a Six-Tribulation Essence Soul, Meng Chuan’s 'Essence Soul World' repelled all external forces, also having a similar weakening effect.

However, even if his Essence Soul World enveloped and protected his grandson, weakening the opponent's karmic attack by eighty or ninety percent, Meng Yu still wouldn't be able to withstand the residual power.

The other method involved an extremely high cultivation realm, allowing one to sense all karmic attacks within their domain, easily intercept them, or even sever the karmic threads. This was something only a Seven-Tribulation Eminence could achieve. Thus, it was exceptionally safe around a Seven-Tribulation Eminence; no one could ambush a mortal under their protection.

One of Meng Chuan's Essence Soul avatars stayed with and taught his grandson. His true body and the other three Essence Soul avatars moved separately, devising a way to rescue Long Han.

The Heaven Realm.

"I can sense that little girl, Long Han, is in that palace ahead," said Meng Chuan, clad in black robes with white hair, gazing into the distance. "That palace is very close to the World Mansion."

"Old Man Sanshi is there, so I can't forcibly rescue her."

Since they had captured Long Han, even if he made a forceful move, a Six-Tribulation Eminence could instantly kill her.

"I need to look for an opportunity. He hasn't killed Long Han directly, so he must have an agenda," Meng Chuan thought, exercising patience.

The Earth Realm.

One of Meng Chuan's Essence Soul avatars arrived at a large island in the Ice Sea. With a diameter of three thousand li, it was considered a substantial island even in the Earth Realm.

"Dragon Island."

Meng Chuan solemnly observed the vast island. A deep pit, roughly a hundred li wide, marred its center, yet beyond that pit, countless buildings remained perfectly intact.

"Not a single living being," Meng Chuan murmured, frowning as he looked down.

Dragon Island was where the Divine Dragon clan had lived for generations, with over a million clan members inhabiting it.

The Divine Dragon clan possessed the bloodline of dragons. Through generations of proliferation, occasional bloodline awakenings had given rise to many powerful individuals.

"According to An'er, the strongest contemporary Divine Dragon clan member was a Four-Tribulation Eminence, along with one Two-Tribulation Eminence, over a dozen Emperors, and more than a million clan members," Meng Chuan thought as he overlooked the island. "Now, not a single one remains?"

Long Han herself had originated from Dragon Island. It was due to the island's nurturing that she had the opportunity to undergo the 'Nine Lives Reincarnation Heart Refinement' in her youth.

"Long Han cares deeply for the Divine Dragon clan, even willing to sacrifice her life for them," Meng Chuan mused. "Such a vast clan, which An'er and his wife had sensed was fine less than an hour ago, has now completely vanished when I arrived to check?"

His Essence Soul World silently enveloped Dragon Island below, thoroughly investigating.

"Hmm?"

Meng Chuan’s heart stirred, and he swiftly descended into one of Dragon Island's ancient halls.

Inside the hall, hundreds of jade talismans were enshrined.

"Guardian God, come out," Meng Chuan commanded, standing within the hall.

Black mist immediately emerged from the floor of the ancient hall, solidifying into the form of a dragon-headed elder. He bowed respectfully, "Dragon Island Guardian God greets Senior." Although Dragon Island's formation had been shattered earlier, the guardian gods still managed to maintain parts of it. Without the strength of a Tribulation Eminence, it would still be impossible to enter Dragon Island.

Given Meng Chuan's cultivation realm, his Essence Soul World immediately discerned the full details of Dragon Island, including the presence of five guardian gods on the Divine Dragon clan's island, with one specifically guarding this hall long-term.

"What happened to the more than one million clan members of the Divine Dragon clan?" Meng Chuan asked.

"To be honest, Senior," the dragon-headed elder replied bitterly. "Half an hour ago, 'Heavenly Sorrow Demon Ancestor' personally led five Tribulation Eminences. They shattered our dragon clan's formation with a single palm strike and abducted all clan members from Dragon Island. They didn't harm a single clan member at the time... but after they were taken, the slaughter must have begun."

"Slaughter?" Meng Chuan asked, frowning as he looked at the elder. "How do you know?"

"Dragon Island has a method to sense the life and death of every clan member," the dragon-headed elder explained. "After they were abducted, a full hundred thousand ordinary clan members have already died. Simultaneously, three individuals at the Venerable level or above have also perished."

Meng Chuan looked at the enshrined jade talismans and asked, "Are the three broken talismans here representative of the three deceased individuals at the Venerable level or higher?"

"Yes," the dragon-headed elder nodded. "Within our Divine Dragon clan, once someone reaches the Venerable level, their life talisman is enshrined here. Because Venerables frequently venture out, the clan can always monitor their life and death."

"What was the relationship between these three deceased individuals and Long Han?" Meng Chuan inquired.

The dragon-headed elder paused.

Long Han, being one of the Divine Dragon clan's Emperors, was naturally highly valued by Dragon Island.

"Indeed, the three deceased were all very close to Long Han," the dragon-headed elder said. "Long Han's parents died when she was young, so she lived with her master's family. The three deceased are... her master, an older fellow disciple, and a younger fellow disciple."

"Damn it," Meng Chuan cursed, his expression darkening.

He had intended to save Long Han and ensure the safety of the Divine Dragon clan, believing that would be a job well done.

Now, with three of Long Han's closest clan members dead, Meng Chuan felt considerably enraged.

"I must find a way to save as many as possible," Meng Chuan thought. He knew that if the Divine Dragon clan's more than a million members were annihilated, Long Han would likely rather die than live, and An'er would blame himself for the rest of his life. Although a small number of Divine Dragon clan members wandered outside, the million on Dragon Island constituted the main part of the clan and were the most familiar to Long Han. The more he could save, the better.

The Heaven Realm.

Inside a palace adjacent to the World Mansion.

"Palace Master," three Five-Tribulation Eminences said, bowing respectfully to the thin, cold old man.

Old Man Sanshi had mastered the rules of the Six-Tribulation Realm a long time ago, making him the strongest expert in the Kunyun Secret Realm. Now that his physical body had also broken through and he could begin refining the World Mansion, it was clear he was not far from becoming the 'Master of the Secret Realm'. Naturally, these Five-Tribulation Eminences grew even more deferential.

"Have you found it?" Old Man Sanshi asked indifferently.

"We threatened her with the lives of Divine Dragon clan members, specifically her close master, senior disciple-brother, and junior disciple-sister, ten times consecutively, killing ten thousand clan members each time. We also killed her master, senior disciple-brother, and junior disciple-sister," said a black-haired, green-eyed man. "I even personally controlled her Essence Soul and reviewed her memories, extracting everything that could be gleaned."

Another slightly plump, dignified woman added, "However, what we extracted isn't very useful. We only learned that 'Feather Dragon Island Lord' came from outside this secret realm, arriving in our Kunyun Secret Realm two thousand one hundred years ago, when he was merely at the peak Venerable level. Since then, he rapidly progressed to the Three-Tribulation Realm."

"That's all?" Old Man Sanshi frowned, as only an avatar of his was present.

His two true bodies were elsewhere; one was in the outer realm, and the other had been continuously refining the World Mansion.

"There's no more useful information," the black-haired, green-eyed man confirmed. "When I reviewed her memories, I discovered that some had been severed. That missing portion is crucial, but it's impossible to access."

"Then control her," Old Man Sanshi ordered. "Control her Essence Soul, make her loyal to me, have her stand with us, and let her devise a way to deal with that Feather Dragon Island Lord."

"Yes," the three Five-Tribulation Eminences respectfully assented.

A moment later.

A white-clad woman, her eyes fervent, looked at Old Man Sanshi and said with utmost respect, "Long Han greets Palace Master."

"What else do you know about your husband?" Old Man Sanshi inquired.

"I have told you everything I know," the white-clad woman said, immediately kneeling with a look of guilt. "However, some memories have been completely severed, and I cannot retrieve them."

"Tell me, how can we make that Feather Dragon Island Lord return willingly?" Old Man Sanshi asked with a smile.

The white-clad woman thought hard, then shook her head slightly, a pained expression on her face. "He only said for Senior to send someone to the Goddess River Domain to find him by following the karmic threads. I have no other way... No... Perhaps there is one more way."

"Oh?" Old Man Sanshi and the three Five-Tribulation Eminences beside him all looked at Long Han.

"I can sense a life in the Earth Realm with a very deep karmic connection to me," the white-clad woman said, a puzzled look on her face. "I don't know this individual, but my karmic ties with them are far stronger than with my master, senior disciple-brother, or junior disciple-sister. They are even deeper than my connection with Yu Long."

"Oh?"

Old Man Sanshi's eyes lit up.

Feather Dragon Island Lord and Long Han were husband and wife, so who could this other life with an even deeper karmic connection be?

"We didn't find any trace of this person when we reviewed her memories earlier," the black-haired, green-eyed man immediately stated. "It must be that memory severance concealed everything about them."

"Where are they?" the dignified woman pressed.

"As merely an Emperor, I cannot pinpoint their exact location across a world," Long Han replied respectfully. "However, the closer I get, the more accurate my senses will become."

Old Man Sanshi nodded. "Very good. One of your true bodies will remain here. Your other true body will accompany Heavenly Sorrow Demon Ancestor to the Earth Realm to find that life with whom you share such a profound karmic connection."

"Yes," Long Han replied with utmost deference. Both of her true bodies were currently imprisoned there.

"I will take her to the Earth Realm right away," the black-haired, green-eyed man said, clearly excited.
