Chapter 651: Enemies Pursue, See the Message and Flee Quickly!

Yagu seemed to be drifting along the Qingyi River.

As Qin Sang passed by Qianhu Village, he found everything was normal there. The villagers were living peacefully; women were cooking, and children were playing. It was a scene of complete tranquility.

"Eh?"

Just as he was about to fly over Qianhu Village, Qin Sang suddenly descended, appearing on the back hill of Qianhu Village, in front of the thatched hut where Yagu once lived.

It had been less than a year since Yagu left, and no one had occupied the hut, so there weren't many changes.

Qin Sang stared at a large hole in the hut's roof. He remembered that although the hut was dilapidated and inevitably leaked during heavy rain, Yagu was very diligent, often gathering thatch to repair it. She wouldn't have allowed such extensive damage to the roof.

This damage seemed to have been caused by a thrown stone, and the marks were very fresh.

Qin Sang swept his spiritual sense over the area and indeed found a bluestone inside the hut. The bluestone had green moss on it, clearly indicating it had just been retrieved from the Qingyi River.

As he clearly saw the bluestone, Qin Sang's gaze suddenly sharpened.

Eight characters were carved onto the bluestone: "Enemies are pursuing, flee quickly upon seeing this message!"

The handwriting was very scrawled, but it was clearly Yagu's.

Qin Sang reached out and drew the bluestone into his palm. He swept his spiritual sense around, found no other anomalies, and immediately departed on his sword, continuing his pursuit downstream along the Qingyi River without delay.

Before leaving, Qin Sang turned his head to look at Qianhu Village. Judging by the position of the bluestone and the large hole in the hut, Yagu must have thrown it from the Qingyi River.

Qin Sang could imagine the scene: Yagu crushed the Qingfu coin but received no response. Severely injured and drifting in the Qingyi River, she didn't even have the strength to climb ashore. She could only throw the stone onto the bank to leave him a message.

Alternatively, Yagu might have been afraid that leaving the river would expose her trail and her message to her pursuers.

If he couldn't find Yagu, he would certainly have come to Qianhu Village to look. As for whether the bluestone would be discovered by her pursuers, allowing them to get a head start, Yagu likely had no remaining energy to consider such details. This was the only thing she could do.

Who could have forced Yagu to resort to such a method to leave a message?

Qin Sang lowered his gaze to the bluestone.

"Enemies?"

What kind of enemies?

Could he have brought this danger upon Yagu?

Qin Sang was extremely perplexed.

Reflecting carefully on his experiences since his transmigration, from awakening until now, he had only killed people twice: once to avenge Yagu by eliminating the priest of Yihui Village, and once to get rid of the bandits who attacked the Five Bugs Sect. Both were minor figures.

He was certain that those bandits had no powerful backing; they were lone wolves. Even if they had relatives or friends, they wouldn't dare oppose a Core Formation cultivator, much less threaten Yagu, who was under the protection of the Five Bugs Sect.

Within the Five Bugs Sect, only Cui Xuanzi and the cultivator surnamed Tong truly knew about his relationship with Yagu.

Whether it was the Five Bugs Sect, the Thunderclap Fort, or the Hundred Flowers Palace, he had used a combination of coercion and enticement. He hadn't pushed them too hard, so they had neither the courage nor the reason to oppose him.

Qin Sang was at a loss for an explanation. Only by finding Yagu could he understand the full story.

Qin Sang continued downstream along the Qingyi River at an astonishing speed. As he drew closer, the Qingfu coin's sensation grew clearer, confirming that Yagu was indeed drifting in the river!

This made Qin Sang's heart sink, but he could only suppress his anxiety.

Soon after, the Qingfu coin indicated that Yagu was directly below, at the bottom of the river.

The river was vast and exceedingly turbulent. Qin Sang plunged directly into the river's heart on his sword, finally finding Yagu at the bottom.

Yagu's eyes were tightly shut. She had no breath, drifting motionlessly with the current. Thick waterweeds were entwined around her body, making her look like a corpse.

Qin Sang activated his true essence, gently enveloping Yagu, and brought her up.

*Splash!*

Water splashed everywhere.

Qin Sang emerged from the water holding Yagu, landed on the bank, and immediately began to clear the waterweeds and water from her body.

Yagu's face was deathly pale; she had clearly been through a fierce battle.

She had many wounds on her body, all of which had turned white from being submerged. The most severe was a shocking bloody hole in her left shoulder, seemingly pierced by a sharp weapon.

The immense force had shattered the bones in Yagu's left shoulder, nearly reaching her heart.

But Yagu's current state was extremely dire; her heart had stopped beating.

Qin Sang's expression was grim, but he didn't give up hope. He extended his spiritual sense into Yagu's body to examine her, and then a hint of joy appeared on his face.

Yagu still had a trace of life!

Although she wasn't dead, her injuries were too severe. Ordinary elixirs would be useless. Qin Sang immediately took out a drop of Three Lights Jade Liquid from his Qianjun Ring, poured it out, and put it into Yagu's mouth.

As the Three Lights Jade Liquid entered her body, a powerful life force immediately erupted within Yagu.

Qin Sang placed his hand on Yagu's abdomen, activated his true essence, to help the medicinal power disperse, guiding the life force of the Three Lights Jade Liquid to repair her injuries.

Yagu's wounds visibly healed, the shattered bones in her left shoulder rapidly mended, and the color gradually returned to her face and skin.

Even more encouragingly, Yagu's heart began to beat faintly.

However, Yagu still did not awaken.

Qin Sang frowned inwardly. He checked Yagu's primordial spirit, discovering it was incredibly weak, on the verge of dissipating. The life force from the Three Lights Jade Liquid could only heal her physical injuries, but it couldn't mend her primordial spirit.

If he waited any longer, in less than fifteen minutes, Yagu's primordial spirit would dissipate, and she would still die!

Qin Sang didn't have many elixirs for healing the primordial spirit, and none possessed the miraculous effects of the Three Lights Jade Liquid. He took out a bottle of his best Divine Replenishment Pills and gave them to Yagu.

As the spiritual elixir entered her body, Yagu's primordial spirit showed signs of improvement, but the recovery process would be very long.

Qin Sang summoned the Flying Yaksha to stand guard. He sat on a stone by the riverbank, holding Yagu, waiting for her to awaken. His face was as still as water. He would look at the surface of the Qingyi River for a moment, then gaze up at the sky, his eyes deep, lost in thought.

It was then that Qin Sang noticed that Yagu's hands and arms were actually tattooed with four sets of divine patterns.

Divine patterns were complex and varied, capable of unleashing all sorts of strange powers. Qin Sang didn't know much about divine patterns, but he vaguely remembered that the power of the divine patterns on Yagu's body seemed to be related to water.

He hadn't expected that Yagu hadn't focused solely on cultivating the *All-Heaven Demonic Sound Art*, but had also cultivated divine patterns.

Yagu's cultivation was indeed only at the third level of Qi Refining, and she appeared to have just broken through. This was somewhat lower than Qin Sang had previously estimated, likely due to her divided attention on divine patterns.

Her low cultivation level, however, didn't mean Yagu was weak.

Qin Sang realized that the two sets of divine patterns on her hands were not simple.

Yagu merely cultivated divine patterns as a side pursuit, yet she had achieved remarkable results in such a short time. Her talent in the way of divine patterns greatly astonished Qin Sang.

Just then, Qin Sang felt Yagu stir in his arms. He looked down and saw Yagu's eyelashes flutter. Her eyes opened a slit, her gaze very weak and somewhat bewildered.

"Big Brother Qin?"

Faintly seeing Qin Sang's face, Yagu was stunned, thinking she was dreaming. She murmured, "Thank you, Witch God, for letting me dream of Big Brother Qin one last time..."
