Chapter 877: Extreme Rage

Yun Che had a clear impression of the Tai Su Sect's dungeon. Years ago, when Su Ling'er had given him a tour of the sect, she told him that the easternmost section was the dungeon, a place she never went near.

Yun Che moved with incredible speed, his aura concealed. He reached the innermost part of the Tai Su Sect in mere moments, flashing within a yard of disciples who remained completely oblivious, not even sensing a fleeting shadow.

Following his memory, the dungeon entrance quickly appeared before Yun Che. The turbid air wafting from within was the clearest proof.

Six people guarded the dungeon entrance. Four wore Tai Su Sect uniforms, evidently disciples of the sect. The other two were clad in black, with seven interwoven pale yellow stars marked on their chests.

Yun Che's brow twitched sharply. This seven-star mark was the undisputed symbol of a Seven Star Divine Palace disciple! On the Azure Cloud Continent, no one dared to impersonate them.

The Seven Star Divine Palace was one of the largest sects on the Azure Cloud Continent, standing as one of the three great hegemons, alongside the Shattered Heaven Sect and the Flying Immortal Sword Sect. Its status on the Azure Cloud Continent was no less significant than that of the Four Sacred Grounds on the Sky Profound Continent!

What was happening? The Seven Star Divine Palace and the Tai Su Sect were from completely different realms of power. Why would the minor Tai Su Sect be involved with the Seven Star Divine Palace? What exactly had transpired?!

Ling'er... where was Ling'er... what had happened to her?!

The four Tai Su Sect disciples stood ramrod straight at the dungeon entrance, gripping their weapons tightly. They dared not even glance at the two Seven Star Divine Palace disciples, looking as cautious and terrified as ants trembling before a demon god.

The two Divine Palace disciples slumped casually on the ground, their faces etched with impatience. They occasionally cast extremely disdainful glances at the four Tai Su Sect guards behind them. The one on the right lazily remarked, "I wonder what the Master is thinking, staying for so many days in this godforsaken place. What kind of decent exotic treasure could be found in a place I could wipe out with one finger?"

The other Divine Palace disciple glanced around, then suddenly lowered his voice. "I heard that the Master brought us here... on the Grand Palace Master's orders?"

"What... what? That... that's impossible, isn't it? How could there be anything here worthy of the Grand Palace Master's attention?"

"I don't know, and it's not for small fry like us to know. Just follow orders; it's better not to ask too many questions."

Hearing these terrifying experts, whose profound strength had reached the Sovereign Profound Realm and who bore the seven-star emblem, refer to themselves as "small fry," the four Tai Su Sect disciples collectively swallowed, their eyes growing even more fearful.

"However, judging by what the Master said, he has already concluded that whatever it is, it's on Su Ling'er. As soon as she's found, this mission will be complete. But it's been over half a month, and that little girl still hasn't been found."

"I heard her profound strength is only at the Spirit Profound Realm; she can't even fly. Where could she possibly run? She's probably hiding in some rarely visited deep mountain forest. Hmph, the entire Fusang Kingdom is now under our blockade. The Fusang Kingdom's imperial family and all its sects are searching under our command. Not even a mosquito can escape our grasp. I bet she'll be caught within three days."

Yun Che clearly heard the name "Su Ling'er" from the two Divine Palace disciples' conversation! She was actually being hunted by the Seven Star Divine Palace! The fact that they hadn't found her yet was a huge relief.

But she was just a sixteen-year-old girl with Spirit Profound Realm strength, yet she was being hunted by the vast Seven Star Divine Palace, pursued nationwide by all sects and the imperial family of the Fusang Kingdom. They had even blockaded the entire kingdom to catch her, and this had been going on for over half a month!

For Su Ling'er, every single moment of the past half-month must have been an unimaginable nightmare of terror and dread...

Extreme rage, killing intent, and hatred wildly grew and swelled in Yun Che's chest, instantly breaking through the suppression of his Flowing Light Thunder Stealth. The loud, almost deafening sound of bone dislocation echoed from his tightly clenched fists.

"Who's there?!" The two Divine Palace disciples were instantly startled. But even as the words left their lips, before they could fully stand, a pair of crimson, blood-soaked eyes appeared before them.

*Boom! Boom!*

Fire exploded, and the two Divine Palace disciples instantly turned to ashes, without even a chance to scream. They died without ever seeing who had sent them to hell.

The four Tai Su Sect disciples guarding the dungeon entrance froze, eyes wide and bulging, scared out of their wits. They wanted to scream but found their throats constricted, able to produce only dry, terrified moans.

"As members of the Tai Su Sect, you're acting as dogs for those who brutalized your sect master's family... What right do you have to live?!"

Yun Che's entire body trembled. In his extreme rage, both the Phoenix Flame and Golden Crow Flame roared violently, on the verge of losing control. With a wave of his hand, the four Tai Su Sect disciples were instantly engulfed in a sea of fire and turned to ashes.

At the same time, the profound iron dungeon door was incinerated, and Yun Che, radiating terrifying heat and towering rage, stormed into the dungeon.

The massive sound and abnormal aura immediately alerted the entire Tai Su Sect, especially the Seven Star Divine Palace members within. Roars erupted throughout the sect as almost everyone rushed towards the dungeon.

"Who dares trespass into the dungeon... Ah!!!"

There were three waves of guards in the gloomy dungeon. As soon as they noticed the anomaly, Yun Che mercilessly blasted them all into mangled pieces. Blood and shattered corpses gruesomely stained the reeking dungeon floor.

Alarms blared throughout the sect, but Yun Che ignored them. All obstacles and cell doors in the dungeon were brutally forced open. Rather than moving through the dungeon, it was as if he was violently tearing through its very structure.

Soon, Yun Che reached the deepest part of the dungeon without pause. It was the darkest section, unlit and pitch black. Yet, Yun Che clearly sensed a very weak aura.

Yun Che flung out his palm, and a crimson flame ignited on a nearby wall, instantly illuminating the entire dungeon.

At the very end of the dungeon was a dark wall of profound iron. A person, clad in rags and covered in blood, was securely chained to it by dozens of chains. Their breathing was faint, clearly on the verge of death, having endured immense torture. His face was largely obscured by tangled hair, and the visible half was caked with dried blood.

But Yun Che recognized him instantly: it was none other than Su Hengshan, the Tai Su Sect Master and Su Ling'er's father!

A violent surge of killing intent shot through Yun Che's head, but he fiercely suppressed it. Taking a deep breath, he rushed forward. "Sect Master Su!"

*Fwoosh! Fwoosh! Fwoosh! Fwoosh!*

In flashes of fire, several bursts of light shot from Yun Che's hand, incinerating all the chains binding Su Hengshan.

The broken chains clattered to the floor. Su Hengshan's body swayed and began to collapse, but Yun Che firmly caught him.

Su Hengshan wasn't unconscious. He slowly raised his head, his hazy gaze peering through his tangled hair at the young man who had suddenly appeared before him. "You... are..."

His voice was dry and hoarse, but he stopped after just two words. Even his previously dim eyes suddenly widened, trembling with a flicker of light...

Although it had been over six years, Yun Che was half a foot taller, and his gaze and demeanor were very different. Yet, his overall appearance hadn't changed drastically. Furthermore, Su Ling'er had yearned for him constantly over the years, and while he worried about his daughter, Su Hengshan naturally hadn't forgotten Yun Che's face.

"You... are... you're Yun Che?!"

"It's me!" Yun Che nodded vigorously, his eyes slightly warm.

"Really... it's you?" Su Hengshan reached out a trembling hand, unable to believe his own eyes.

"It really is me..." Yun Che placed a palm on Su Hengshan's chest, channeling pure Heaven and Earth energy into him. "Sect Master Su, I'm Yun Che, I've returned!"

Under Yun Che's Heaven and Earth energy, Su Hengshan felt a refreshing coolness spread through his body. Within just a few breaths, his once limp and weak body rapidly regained vitality. His clouded senses quickly cleared, and even his depleted profound energy recovered at an astonishing rate.

"Yun Che... you..." Su Hengshan's excitement mingled with shock and disbelief, making him feel as if he were in a dream. But as his mind gradually cleared, he suddenly grew alarmed and urgently cried, "No... you must leave... quickly leave!"

*Rumble!*

A deafening sound came from behind as the dungeon entrance was brutally blasted open by a powerful force.

Yun Che slowly turned around, the killing intent and rage he had been fiercely suppressing now surged within his chest, threatening to explode. He sensed twenty-six auras rushing into the dungeon, while many others surrounded it from outside.

Among these twenty-six were three Tyrant Profound Realm experts from the Seven Star Divine Palace. At the very front was the Level 8 Tyrant Profound Realm expert who appeared to be leading all the Divine Palace disciples present.

"Oh no... it's too late!"

The rapidly approaching auras and sounds turned Su Hengshan's excitement into sheer terror. He struggled to get up, trying to shield Yun Che. "Yun Che, to see you again before I die, and to have you risk your life to save me – I have no more regrets. At least... at least Ling'er's six years of foolish waiting weren't in vain. But the people out there are terrifying... far more terrifying than you can imagine... If you get a chance to escape later... please don't worry about me..."

Yun Che pushed his hand, keeping him behind, and slowly shook his head.

If Su Hengshan could have seen Yun Che's eyes at that moment, he would have been too terrified to speak. They were the eyes of a bloodthirsty fiend.

The hand that had been resting on Su Hengshan's chest became a grasp, lifting him and soaring upward.

*BOOM!*

With a deafening roar, the dungeon ceiling was blasted open, and dazzling light streamed down. When Yun Che landed again, he stood outside the dungeon with Su Hengshan, his feet on the ground of the Tai Su Sect's east courtyard.
