Chapter 177: Evil Battle

The male flood dragon's voice was filled with deep hatred and murderous intent, as if humans were their sworn, utterly despicable enemies. It was clear that attempting to negotiate with them before leaving was utterly impossible.

"Leave quickly... get as far away as you can!"

The powerful aura emanating from the two flood dragons instilled a huge sense of crisis in the Little Fairy. With a swift movement, she unleashed a burst of icy air, pushing Yun Che far away. At the same time, her entire body shimmered with frosty light as she met the attacks of the male and female flood dragons.

"Little Fairy—"

The Little Fairy's push was something Yun Che couldn't resist. Amidst his shout, he was propelled by the air current for ten miles before finally falling to the ground. This also took him out of the two flood dragons' attack range. From his previous location, earth-shattering roars echoed.

The two colossal flood dragons coiled and spiraled high in the sky, their roars shaking heaven and earth. Compared to their immense bodies, the Little Fairy was just a tiny, delicate snowy silhouette, flitting between them like a butterfly through flowers.

The two flood dragons were roughly the same size and similar in appearance, a male and a female, seemingly a mated pair. They simultaneously opened their massive mouths and unleashed twin tornado-like storms. Originally only a few meters wide, the tornadoes rapidly expanded as they swept forward, reaching hundreds of meters in moments. These two enormous storms, one after another, advanced towards the Little Fairy with terrifying tearing power.

When Yun Che looked up, this was the scene he witnessed. His eyes widened instantly, and his heart nearly stopped... Within these two sky-obscuring storms, the Little Fairy's delicate form appeared as tiny as a lone leaf.

The Little Fairy ascended slightly, then began to spin. Her rotation was slow, graceful, and elegant, like a butterfly dancing. Yet, this slow, enchanting spin generated a colossal storm around her, one no less formidable than the flood dragons'—and it was a bone-chilling ice storm.

BOOM!!!

A roar like world-shaking thunder exploded in the sky.

The three storms collided in mid-air, causing space to tremble violently. The hills below were flattened in an instant by the storms, and ancient trees rooted for hundreds or even thousands of years were torn high into the air and flung an unknown distance away. Vast amounts of loess were thrown up, obscuring the sky. Even Yun Che, ten miles away, was knocked to the ground by a sudden gust of wind. He tightly clung to the jagged edge of a large boulder to avoid being swept away.

The terrifying turbulent flow generated by the collision of the storms persisted for a long time without dissipating. Yun Che, though at the very edge of the storm, was already completely suffocating. The Little Fairy, however, was at its very center... Yun Che struggled to lift his head against the turbulence and looked at the Little Fairy in the sky. Her delicate form continued to rotate slowly, her position not moving an inch. The two flood dragon storms were firmly repelled by her profound strength storm, held twenty meters away, not touching her body at all. Instead, she was gradually pushing them even further away.

In other words, facing two Sky Profound Realm peak flood dragons alone, she was not at a disadvantage in the slightest!

Yun Che let out a huge sigh of relief. Just then, he suddenly saw a dark shadow swiftly carried out by the turbulence above him. That shadow made Yun Che's pupils constrict slightly...

A Storm Fierce Eagle!!

The Storm Fierce Eagle, having flown at full speed for three hours, was completely exhausted. Swept up by the storm, it had already passed out. Without hesitation, Yun Che leaped high, grabbing one of the eagle's talons. Then, relaxing his profound strength, he rapidly descended, using the weight of the heavy sword on his back, landing behind a large boulder sturdy enough to withstand the turbulence.

The Storm Fierce Eagle gave no sign of life after Yun Che dragged it down, whether it was still unconscious or already dead. Yun Che kicked its body over and immediately spotted something glinting with a faint bronze light on its right talon.

"It's on it, just as I thought!"

Yun Che was delighted. He quickly moved forward and unfastened it from the eagle's talon. Despite the immense turmoil, the pendant remained completely intact. Its thread, made of an unknown material, was as soft as cotton but equally undamaged.

Yun Che carefully opened the pendant, looked at the small lens inside, and only after confirming that the lens was also undamaged did he fully relax. He then hung the pendant back around his neck.

"You've found what you were looking for. Why aren't you leaving? Are you waiting to die here?" Jasmine asked anxiously.

"No! The Little Fairy is still fighting those two flood dragons fiercely. How can I leave?" Yun Che poked his head out from behind the boulder and replied.

"Foolish! This level of battle is beyond your interference! Whether she ultimately wins or loses, lives or dies, you cannot intervene! What good will you do by staying, other than putting yourself in danger?"

Yun Che gritted his teeth. "I know I can't help her, but she encountered these two flood dragons because of me. If I let her fall into danger and just leave, I'll never be able to respect myself for the rest of my life. Besides, this is the center of the Death Wasteland, surrounded by Earth Profound Realm, and even Sky Profound Realm profound beasts. If I encounter any one of them, I'll face certain death. Where can I even escape to?"

Yun Che's words left Jasmine speechless.

After a full fifteen minutes, the storm finally dissipated. From the sky, the male flood dragon's voice boomed: "So you are a human with half a foot in the King Profound Realm. No wonder you dared to trespass, coveting the Dragon God's treasure. But since you've come, don't ever think about leaving!"

The Little Fairy coldly stated, "I merely passed by here by chance. I know nothing of any Dragon God's treasure, nor did I intend to offend you."

The female dragon's voice came, filled with fury: "Silence! You humans are all despicable and treacherous beings! Years ago, because my mate and I couldn't bear to harm a human who trespassed here, three months later, he returned with dozens of others... and killed our only child! We will never make the same mistake again... Humans, prepare to die!!"

Both flood dragons wielded wind-elemental power. As they unleashed their strength, the surrounding space raged with gusts of wind, sand, and stones flying everywhere. The immense display of power caused the entire central region of the Death Wasteland to tremble subtly. Profound beasts in the vicinity awoke from their slumber or quiet repose, fleeing in terror. Even after reaching what they deemed safe locations, they dared not roar or even breathe loudly, watching the colossal dragon shadows high in the distance, trembling in fear.

"Ice Cloud Domain!"

With the Little Fairy's soft cry, the three-hundred-meter space around her instantly turned icy blue. Within this vast icy blue domain, frost silently descended from the sky, water elements in the air condensed into countless ice crystals, and the earth was covered in a blanket of white. The bodies of the two flood dragons began to be covered in an increasingly thick layer of ice, their movements grew sluggish, and even their storms seemed to freeze little by little, their roars no longer as piercing.

"A domain... it's actually a domain!" Yun Che exclaimed, unable to contain his surprise. Domain arts were powerful profound skills, rumored to only be achievable by those in the King Profound Realm or higher. Once a domain was formed, everything within it would transform into elements beneficial to the caster, or even be completely controlled by them. Domains were also categorized into many types, including offensive, defensive, amplification, control, deterrent, and so on...

Yet, the Little Fairy, who had not yet fully entered the King Profound Realm, could already activate a domain art!

Within the Ice Cloud Domain, the cold, the swirling snow, and the frost all slightly enhanced the Little Fairy's abilities, while also weakening the flood dragons' mobility and attack strength to a certain extent. A transparent longsword, seemingly condensed from ice crystals, now appeared in the Little Fairy's hand. With a movement of her body, a flash of blue light, she thrust straight towards the male flood dragon.

CLANG!!!

Yun Che, ten miles away, clearly heard the violent impact. While flood dragons were not true dragons with complete dragon bloodlines like fire dragons, but rather sub-dragons with seventy to eighty percent dragon blood, they were still dragons. Their bodies possessed a formidable toughness akin to true dragons. With this sword strike, the Little Fairy only managed to chip off a single silver scale from the male flood dragon.

However, the damaged scale was enough to ignite an even deeper fury in the male flood dragon. Its counterattack swiftly followed. Amidst howling winds, large chunks of ice shattered from its body, and a massive dragon claw, accompanied by countless wind blades, violently struck towards the Little Fairy. Wherever the dragon claw passed, it created a sharp screech that tore at space.

CRACK!!!

The enormous dragon claw landed on the Little Fairy's ice shield. The claw bounced off, but the ice shield fractured extensively. The next instant, the female flood dragon's massive tail, like a horizontally moving mountain, slammed down, immediately following the male flood dragon's claw strike onto the ice shield... With a sharp "CRACK," the Little Fairy's ice shield completely shattered, exploding into countless fragments.

The dragon tail swept past, impacting a mirage of the Little Fairy. Her true form reappeared higher in the sky, her expression growing more solemn. Before the domain dissipated, she rapidly descended, her ice sword aimed directly at the male flood dragon. Each strike of her sword against the male flood dragon's body caused flashes of blue light, like bolts of lightning. Within the blue light, the male flood dragon's scales were shattered piece by piece.

Her only option now was to concentrate her attacks on one of the flood dragons.

If these two Sky Profound Realm peak profound beasts had been of another species, like wolves, lions, or falcons... even facing two alone, she would have had a high chance of victory. But these were two flood dragons! A dragon's physique, bloodline, stamina, soul power, and aura... were incomparable to any other beast.

After fifteen minutes of combat, the Little Fairy clearly understood that winning this battle, or even retreating safely, would be incredibly difficult.

The sky grew darker, and dusk began to quietly settle, making the continuously flashing blue lights in the sky even more dazzling.

After continuing for almost half an hour, the Little Fairy's Ice Cloud Domain finally completely disappeared.

The cold in the air rapidly dissipated, and the movements of the male and female flood dragons instantly became swifter. Meanwhile, the Little Fairy's strength had begun to wane. The sound of her ice sword striking the male flood dragon was noticeably less deafening than before.

Yun Che's heart could no longer remain calm. He anxiously asked, "Jasmine, how much power can you use right now?"

"Give up. I won't help her," Jasmine flatly refused, having anticipated this moment. "Annihilating these two flood dragons would be as easy as lifting a finger for me. But if I use that level of power, the poison that I've finally suppressed during this period will inevitably relapse and all my efforts will be wasted! I'm not benevolent enough to squander an entire year's worth of progress in the Sky Poison Pearl for a woman I have no connection with!"
