Chapter 1141: Mysterious Girl

Yun Che felt an immediate surge of alertness. His mind sharpened, and the fleeting sensation of an abrupt, night-like descent quickly vanished. Everything in his vision became clear. Yet, he didn't avert his gaze, continuing to stare directly into the eyes of the girl in the black dress, unsure if it was an unconscious reluctance to look away or an attempt to discern something.

The girl floating in the air let out a soft "Oh?"

"What is it?" the girl in the blue dress beside her asked, turning her gaze in confusion.

"Sister, let's go down."

As Yun Che and Huo Poyun watched in astonishment, the two girls descended from the sky, like fairies suddenly gracing the mortal world from the clouds, landing directly in front of them.

"I see," the girl in blue said, her eyes immediately falling upon Huo Poyun. She understood, to some extent, why the younger girl had suddenly pulled her down. This man, radiating a powerful aura of flames, possessed astonishing profound energy and should have been well-known in the God Realm. Yet, she knew nothing about him, so it was no wonder the girl in black was curious.

As for the man beside him, at Level One of the Divine Tribulation Realm, he wasn't worth a second glance.

To her immense surprise, however, the younger girl tilted her head, her eyes, as brilliant and mysterious as a starry night, fixed intently on the man who was only at Level One of the Divine Tribulation Realm. She stared at him very seriously for quite some time.

The blue-clad girl's delicate brows furrowed in deep puzzlement.

"Big brother, could you tell me your name?" the girl suddenly asked. Due to her small stature, she had to crane her neck to look directly into Yun Che's eyes.

The girl's faint smile was extremely cute, but Yun Che inexplicably sensed a subtle feeling of danger from her. He also caught a deeply surprised expression on the face of the woman beside the girl, clearly indicating her astonishment that the girl would initiate conversation with him.

"Yun Che," Yun Che replied directly, his answer brief and to the point.

The sudden appearance of the strangers, their unknown identities and intentions, coupled with a faint sense of danger, meant he could have easily fabricated a name. Yet, under the girl's gaze, a strange feeling arose within him: lying in front of her would be an extremely foolish thing to do.

"Yun Che... What a strange name," the girl mused, committing the unfamiliar name to memory. Her dark, sparkling eyes continued to gaze at him intently, as if trying to see through him. "Are you also here for the Profound God Convention?"

"Of course," Yun Che replied, again with just two simple, direct words.

"Then good luck to you!"

After saying that, the girl smiled sweetly, then took the hand of the blue-clad woman beside her. "Sister, let's go."

The blue-clad woman gave Yun Che a deep look, said nothing, and then pulled the younger girl's hand, preparing to fly away.

"Wait!" At that moment, Huo Poyun, who had been strangely silent, suddenly spoke up. "You, little sister, I am Huo Poyun from the Blazing God Realm. May I ask, how old are you?"

Huo Poyun's voice was hurried and clearly tinged with a hint of apprehension, leaving Yun Che surprised and puzzled.

The girl in the black dress looked back, smiling sweetly. "Although I look very small, last month I turned fifteen, so I'm no longer a child. Big brother Poyun, you should also do your best at the Profound God Convention."

Huo Poyun stood frozen, as if struck by lightning, unable to utter a word for a long time.

After the two sisters left, Yun Che remained standing, his brows furrowed in thought. After a while, he noticed that Huo Poyun beside him was also completely still and silent, his expression constantly changing.

"Brother Poyun, do you know those two sisters, or have you guessed their identities?" Yun Che asked. Huo Poyun knew much more about the God Realm than he did, and might know who they were. His peculiar reaction, in particular, suggested their identities were certainly extraordinary.

Huo Poyun shook his head, then suddenly said, "The pressure I felt from that blue-clad woman just now was no less than that from Jun Xilei, the Inheritor of Jueyin, whom we met earlier."

"No less than Jun Xilei?" Yun Che asked in surprise. "Could it be that she's also one of the Four Divine Children of the Eastern Region?"

"Among the Four Divine Children of the Eastern Region, there are two females: one is Jun Xilei, the Inheritor of Jueyin, and the other is 'Fairy Yingyue,' the daughter of the Realm King of the Glazed Light Realm. What she was wearing also greatly resembles the unique Glazed Light Immortal Robe that my master described to me, which is special to the Glazed Light Realm. She must be Shui Yingyue, one of the Four Divine Children of the Eastern Region!"

"I see," Yun Che nodded slightly, then smiled. "To meet two of the Four Divine Children of the Eastern Region consecutively in a single day, it seems our luck is truly good. This is a positive omen."

Yun Che wondered: Huo Poyun hadn't reacted so dramatically when he met Jun Xilei earlier. Why was his reaction so strong upon meeting Shui Yingyue, who was also one of the Four Divine Children of the Eastern Region?

"But compared to Shui Yingyue, the person beside her..." Huo Poyun took a deep, shaky breath, his tone becoming agitated. "That girl, her profound energy is actually at the Divine Spirit Realm!"

Yun Che froze, then his expression turned serious, his heart filled with inexplicable shock.

"A fifteen-year-old in the Divine Spirit Realm... That's impossible! I've never heard of such a thing. Even among the geniuses in the history of the God Realm that my master told me about, no one has ever reached the Divine Spirit Realm before the age of twenty! But just now, I saw it with my own eyes, and she's only fifteen, fifteen!"

Huo Poyun's mouth twitched slightly, followed by a bitter smile. "I've always considered myself a genius and never thought I was inferior to anyone, but a fifteen-year-old Divine Spirit Realm cultivator? I don't even have the right to compare myself to her!"

"How can such a person exist! If she's truly only fifteen, then she's simply a monster!"

For a person who valued his dignity highly and possessed an arrogant spirit, the shock and blow delivered by a "monster" who had achieved the Divine Spirit Realm at fifteen years old was immense. Moreover, this wasn't just hearsay; she had stood right before him.

Waves of shock surged in Yun Che's heart as well. That black-haired, black-dressed girl with a sweet face and eerie black eyes was actually such a terrifying existence.

Fifteen years old, Divine Spirit Realm...

He recalled his own fifteenth year, still living safely under the protection of his grandfather and aunt. Yet she, at the same age, was already capable of shocking the entire God Realm.

"Brother Poyun, since she's a 'monster,' there's naturally no need to compare yourself to her. Besides, her cultivation is so abnormal; it's very likely she used some abnormal methods—for instance, a heritage similar to those found in the King Realms."

Yun Che's words were meant to comfort Huo Poyun, and partly to comfort himself. He had struggled desperately, personally trained by a peak Divine Master, immersed year-round in the Netherfrost Divine Lake, enjoying the top resources of the Snow Song Realm, and even risked his life committing a great transgression by taking Mu Xuanyin's Ice Phoenix Yuan Yin, just to barely reach the Divine Tribulation Realm. And even that largely depended on his profound veins and comprehension far surpassing ordinary people.

Yet, a mere fifteen-year-old girl was incredibly at the Divine Spirit Realm! Was there any justice in this?

"Impossible!" Huo Poyun vehemently denied. "That kind of 'heritage' method only exists in the King Realms, and it's extremely strict. If the Glazed Light Realm had it, it would have long become a King Realm itself. Furthermore, King Realms are not allowed to participate in the Profound God Convention precisely because of the existence of these special heritages. If that girl's cultivation came from a 'heritage,' she certainly wouldn't be allowed to attend the Profound God Convention."

"Hmph... A fifteen-year-old Divine Spirit Realm cultivator. In ten or twenty years, wouldn't she surpass the Four Divine Children of the Eastern Region? When did such a monster appear in the God Realm, and it seems my master never mentioned her either." Huo Poyun shook his head, still unable to recover from the immense shock.

"Glazed Light Realm..." Yun Che murmured. "I seem to recall that when we first arrived here, and you accidentally saw the Glazed Light Realm's 'Chaos Hawk,' your master mentioned that the Realm King of the Glazed Light Realm had given the Chaos Hawk to 'that child' as a birthday gift a month ago. You even asked then if 'that child' was 'Fairy Yingyue,' but your master flatly denied it."

Huo Poyun was startled.

"The girl just now called Shui Yingyue 'sister,' and she also said herself that she turned fifteen last month. It seems to fit perfectly. This means she should be the little princess of the Glazed Light Realm. The fact that the Glazed Light Realm King gave her the highly cherished 'Chaos Hawk,' one of the realm's iconic symbols, instead of giving it to Shui Yingyue, who is one of the Four Divine Children of the Eastern Region, also shows that her status in the Glazed Light Realm and in the eyes of the Realm King is indeed above her sister's."

"What Brother Yun said truly aligns perfectly," Huo Poyun nodded gently. "Not only did the Glazed Light Realm produce a Shui Yingyue, but it also produced such a terrifying little monster. The Three Great Realms have always considered the Sacred Universe Realm the strongest, but it seems that in the next generation, the Sacred Universe Realm might very well be surpassed by the Glazed Light Realm."

"It seems I should prepare properly," Huo Poyun said. "The Eastern Divine Region is so vast; there must be many more heaven-defying prodigies I don't know about. This Profound God Convention will definitely be much harder than I anticipated!"

Huo Poyun suddenly realized that his master, Huo Rulie, evidently knew about the existence of such a monstrous talent in the Glazed Light Realm but had never mentioned it to him. Earlier, when discussing the Chaos Hawk, he had also hesitated to speak further, likely fearing it would impact Huo Poyun's confidence and arrogance. A fifteen-year-old Divine Spirit Realm cultivator was indeed enough to make anyone who considered themselves a genius feel utterly insignificant.

Huo Poyun's state of mind had changed considerably. He found a quiet spot, adjusted himself, and began to enter a cultivation state, even though there were less than three days until the anticipated opening.

Yun Che, who had no personal aspirations for the Profound God Convention, naturally wouldn't do the same. However, he also didn't explore the ancient city; he mostly stayed quietly in one place. But he wasn't cultivating; instead, he was constantly pondering...

Pondering how to find Jasmine or attract her attention once the convention ended and he entered the Eternal Heaven Realm. And what to say, what to ask, what to do, once he saw Jasmine...

If he succeeded... If his wishes weren't fulfilled... If she didn't want to see him... If...
