Chapter 2473: Returning to the Demon Source

Silver ancient characters appeared on the surface of the scale. After briefly arranging themselves in the air, they immediately formed a short piece of text.

"Two years later! Dragon Isle! The Grand Spirit Dao Fruit Convention! This event is finally about to begin." Han Li's eyes shimmered with a peculiar light as he read the text emerging on the scale.

"Heh heh, this gathering will surely bring together many powerful cultivators from other realms; I should definitely go and experience it. Moreover, consuming a Grand Spirit Dao Fruit can temporarily grant one a Grand Spirit Dao Physique, which would greatly benefit my cultivation of several divine abilities. I must find a way to obtain one. It's also time to make use of Tian Fei'er's promise from back then. Two years should be enough time to travel to the Demon Realm and back. Before I go, I'll inform Wan'er so she doesn't worry too much." After pondering for a moment, Han Li finally murmured to himself, having made up his mind.

With a wave of his hand in the air, the silver scale retracted. With a flick of his other wrist, an ancient green mirror suddenly appeared in his palm.

He tossed the ancient mirror in front of him, and his finger quickly swiped across its surface several times. Immediately, a string of white characters flashed and disappeared into it.

Han Li then waited quietly at the bow of the ship.

Moments later, the ancient mirror rippled, and rows of white characters emerged.

Han Li merely glanced at them, a faint smile appearing on the corner of his mouth.

Although his dual cultivation partner hadn't explicitly tried to dissuade him, her words conveyed nothing but caution and concern.

Han Li flicked his sleeve, and with a flash of green light, the ancient mirror vanished into thin air.

Following this, the black giant boat roared, and Han Li sped away at several times his previous speed.

Two months later, above a desolate, hazy expanse in the Demon Realm, a dark green sword light flickered and vanished, replaced by a pale white spatial rift.

A figure flickered within the rift!

Han Li slowly stepped out, holding a dark green wooden sword.

He scanned his surroundings, his brow furrowing slightly.

This place looked completely unfamiliar; he must have never been here before.

He was able to enter the Demon Realm smoothly this time partly because he had found one of the weakest nodes between the Demon Realm and the Human Realm. Secondly, it was due to his sufficiently powerful magic energy and the Profound-Heaven Spirit Severing Sword in his hand.

Although Mo Jianli had also been able to sneak into the Demon Realm using weak nodes back then, it was nowhere near as simple or easy for him; he had risked his life.

However, his primary purpose for coming to the Demon Realm this time was to find the Bottle Spirit. He didn't care about his exact location. After confirming there were no demons nearby, he took a shallow breath and suddenly opened his mouth, spitting out a ball of green light.

Within the radiant light, a small green bottle, several inches high, was clearly visible.

Han Li uttered the word 'Expand,' and his fingers, moving like a blur, pointed repeatedly at the small bottle.

The green bottle blurred, then rapidly expanded in place, transforming into a giant object about ten feet tall in the blink of an eye. The dark green spirit runes on its surface were as thick as fingers and unusually clear.

At this moment, Han Li flicked his sleeve, and hundreds of formation flags surged out. After shooting rapidly in all directions, they silently disappeared.

Han Li changed his hand seals.

Immediately, a buzzing sound resonated in the surrounding void, and countless multi-colored runes emerged. They quickly formed a vast light formation, roughly an *mu* in size, perfectly encircling the giant bottle at its center.

Han Li, meanwhile, began to chant incantations. His body floated upwards, and he mysteriously appeared above the giant bottle, sitting cross-legged.

Below, under the influence of one of Han Li's secret techniques, the giant bottle and the light formation beneath it seemed to merge, flickering erratically between light and dark. After a thunderclap from a clear sky, a dark green beam of light shot out from the bottle's mouth, flashing and disappearing into the distant heavens.

At the same time, a strange fluctuation emerged from the giant bottle, sweeping wildly in all directions.

Han Li slowly closed his eyes at this point. Apart from the faint murmuring of his incantations, he made no other movements.

In a mysterious space within the Demon Realm, at the bottom of a pond containing a small amount of pale silver liquid, several stone slabs below suddenly glowed brightly, and a massive light formation faintly appeared.

At the center of the light formation, several mysterious runes spun and converged, creating a dark, empty hole out of thin air.

The next moment, a ripple spread within the hole, and a dark green beam of light shot out.

After a flash, the light beam not only pierced through the pond water but also vanished directly into the highest point of the mysterious space.

Han Li's expression stirred, and he opened his eyes, his face filled with delight.

"There really is a response! The Bottle Spirit is actually in the Demon Realm! It seems this time, an immense opportunity has truly arrived."

Han Li retracted his hand seals, stood up, and glanced in the direction of the resonance, his face alight with excitement.

His body swayed abruptly in place. With two swift grabs in all directions, the giant light formation immediately collapsed with a dull thud, scattering into hundreds of formation flags that flew back to him.

The giant bottle, enveloped in a radiant glow, shrank on its own, transforming into a ball of dark green light that shot into his body.

Han Li stamped his foot again. A bright green light erupted from his body, transforming him into a green rainbow over ten *zhang* long that shot away. After just two flashes, he vanished into the distant horizon.

In the time that followed, Han Li would cast the spell once every few days, relentlessly pursuing the direction of the resonance, day and night.

Along the way, he encountered demon beasts and demon cities, but he showed no intention of stopping, simply sweeping past them using his flight technique.

With his current divine abilities, few in the entire Demon Realm could likely catch up to him when he flew at full speed.

Often, ordinary demons would only hear a few 'whooshing' sounds tearing through the air but wouldn't see any trace of Han Li's fleeing light. Most would remain in their original spots, filled with suspicion for a long time, before daring to continue their journeys.

Six months later, atop a dark, towering peak.

Han Li stood on a colossal tree, his hands clasped behind his back, gazing at the distant black sea shrouded in layers of mist. A contemplative expression appeared on his face.

"The Demon Source Sea, so this is the place. Could the Bottle Spirit be hiding here? Never mind, even if it is, can it really stop me now? At worst, I'll just try to break through with brute force and enter."

After a moment of changing expressions, Han Li finally made up his mind. He formed a hand seal with one hand.

Immediately, a ripple spread in the sky above the giant peak, and a dark black giant boat silently emerged—it was the Black Spirit Sacred Boat.

Since this boat's flight was too conspicuous, he hadn't used it for travel before. Now that he was in the sparsely populated Demon Source Sea, he could finally put it to use.

At the same time, a roar erupted from behind Han Li. After a silvery arc swirled for a moment, the Crab Daoist's figure also appeared.

"Brother Crab. You should know the Demon Source Sea better than I do. I'll have to trouble you with the journey ahead."

"I will do my best," the Crab Daoist replied indifferently, glancing at the distant demon sea.

Han Li smiled faintly, then flicked his large sleeve, and a sheet of green mist enveloped them.

Their figures immediately vanished within the radiant mist with a flash.

The next moment, a green light unfurled at the front of the giant boat, and their blurry figures reappeared.

Without Han Li needing to give orders, the puppet guards already deployed on the giant boat immediately began to carry out their respective tasks.

After a layer of black light barrier appeared on the surface of the black boat, it roared and plunged into the sea ahead.

Countless bolts of lightning struck fiercely downwards, but the giant boat's black light barrier remained perfectly stable, seemingly unaffected. After another flash, it slowly disappeared into the mist.

More than half a month later, above a lush green giant island, the black giant boat remained motionless in mid-air.

Not far ahead, the vast light formation, roughly an *mu* in size, and the giant bottle reappeared, flickering with alternating bright and dim light.

Han Li stood at the front of the giant boat, forming hand seals with one hand, activating a secret technique.

Just as a flash of light emerged from the giant bottle's mouth and a thick beam of light was about to shoot out, a cold question suddenly echoed from deep within the island:

"What?! How dare you trespass upon Ku Ling Island?"

As the words fell, a mighty roar came from the center of the island. A hundred-*zhang*-long, three-headed black flood dragon shot forth from the same direction.

Standing on the middle head of the three-headed black flood dragon was a black-robed youth with pale purple eyes and a fierce expression.

"Han Li, it's you. When did you enter the Sacred Realm?" The youth asked, his heart suddenly tensing as he clearly recognized Han Li's face.

The newcomer was none other than Yuan Ye, one of the three Demon Ancestors.

"Why, am I not allowed to be here?" Han Li, however, showed no great surprise. His hand seals did not stop, and he merely replied indifferently.

"Hmph, Fellow Daoist Han, why aren't you staying peacefully in the Human Realm, and what brings you to Ku Ling Island again? You've already entered the Mahayana realm, so the Spirit Cleansing Pond is of no use to you now," Yuan Ye said with a hint of grimness, looking at the Crab Daoist behind Han Li and then at the unusually conspicuous light formation and giant bottle.

"Fellow Daoist Yuan, there's no need to be suspicious. I have no interest in the Spirit Cleansing Pond. I'm just here to find something else this time, and I'll leave immediately once I find it," Han Li replied, his expression unchanged.

"What are you looking for?"

"You don't need to ask about that, Brother Yuan," Han Li replied indifferently.

No sooner had he spoken!

He flicked a finger, sending a hand seal shooting into the light formation below. A dark green beam of light immediately burst forth from the giant bottle's mouth, soaring straight into the heavens.

Seeing this, Yuan Ye's expression changed slightly. After a moment of hesitation, he didn't step forward to stop him, but his face naturally turned as dark as water.

Although the news of Han Li slaying an immortal hadn't yet reached the Demon Realm, his previous involvement in annihilating the Mother of Netherworms alongside Baohua had already made Yuan Ye extremely wary of him.

Furthermore, places like Ku Ling Island were naturally scarce in demonic energy and held a suppressive force against demons, making Yuan Ye even less willing to truly fight Han Li here.

And of course, the Mahayana cultivator standing menacingly nearby was another major reason he dared not truly turn hostile.

So, after some consideration, he simply stood by, coldly observing Han Li's every move.

"Oh, the coordinate location is indeed there."

Han Li merely closed his eyes and sensed for a moment before immediately getting a result. He flicked his large sleeve, collecting the bottle and formation flags, then transformed into two dazzling rainbows with the Crab Daoist and streaked through the air.

Seeing this, Yuan Ye followed closely without hesitation.
