Two years later, in the deepest secret chamber of Qingyuan Palace, Han Li sat cross-legged in a corner. His ten fingers rapidly shot out streaks of multi-colored incantations.

In the center of the secret chamber, a faint golden array formation, about ten feet in size, stood prominently. Inside, two green bottles, one large and one small, floated, one above the other.

The upper bottle was teal-green, only a few inches in size, with its mouth facing downwards. It flickered with an unknown, mysterious light, alternately brightening and dimming. The incantations Han Li shot out all vanished into it.

In the center of the lower light array, a teal-green glowing bottle, about a foot tall, was tightly wrapped by strands of five-colored light emerging from various points within the array. Wisps of an unknown, lustrous light flew out from its mouth and were absorbed by the small bottle high above.

With each portion absorbed by the small bottle above, the glowing bottle would shrink and its color would dim.

For a full half-day, the lower glowing bottle continued to shrink until it was the same size as the upper small bottle and almost transparent. Finally, with a 'thud,' it transformed into a last wisp of lustrous light, shooting skyward and being absorbed by the bottle above.

"Halt!"

Han Li, who had been continuously casting spells from the corner, showed a joyful expression upon seeing this. After a low shout, he pointed a finger at the array formation.

The array, which had been faintly buzzing, abruptly ceased its operation with a screech. Simultaneously, all the glowing light retracted, and the small bottle above slowly descended.

Han Li raised an eyebrow, withdrew his finger, and beckoned with one hand in the air.

With a 'whoosh,' the teal-green bottle transformed into a ball of green light and landed in his hand.

"The Fusion Immortal Art recorded on that newly acquired jade slip truly works!" Han Li murmured, toying with the green bottle in his hand, a faint smile on his face. "It actually managed to completely integrate this replica into the Heaven-Controlling Bottle. My time spent on this wasn't wasted after all. Now, by using the manipulation methods recorded on it, I can easily activate this treasure, instead of just using it to cultivate spirit herbs."

"Speaking of which," Han Li murmured, putting away the small bottle. "Although I knew the origin of this item was extraordinary, I never imagined it was a supreme treasure even beings like Immortal Realm Dao Ancestors cared about. But how did it end up in the Human Realm? And only a part of it remains. Where is the bottle spirit? Could it also be lost in other parts of the Human Realm?" He fell into contemplation.

"Forget it," Han Li decided. "Being able to obtain a part of this treasure is already an immense stroke of luck. I've come this far thanks to having it; there's no need to force anything else. My next task is to diligently enter seclusion for cultivation, thoroughly comprehend and fully master the newly acquired divine abilities, and refine important treasures like the Five-Element Unification Mountain. After that, I will continue to cultivate assiduously, further refining and solidifying my magic power until I can welcome the ascension tribulation. However, before entering long-term seclusion, there are a few matters I must attend to first."

Han Li's thoughts raced. With a flick of his wrist, a slightly damaged jade token appeared in his hand. After gently stroking it with his fingers, he softly uttered, "Spirit Race."

Not long after he returned to Boundless Sea that day, he immediately had Daoist Xie cast a spell to determine if the owner of the life token in his hand was truly in the Spirit Realm.

But the result truly astonished him.

After Daoist Xie briefly investigated with a secret technique, he not only confirmed that the owner of the damaged life token was in this realm, but also that their approximate location was not far from the Human Race's territory, likely within the Spirit Race's domain.

After his surprise, the image of the Spirit King immediately flashed through Han Li's mind.

Although he still didn't know the identity of the life token's owner, it was highly probable they were closely related to the extremely mysterious Spirit King.

He had originally intended to investigate immediately, but unfortunately, due to the aftermath of the great battle in the Cursed Resonance Land, he had to remain in Qingyuan Palace and postpone his departure until now.

"In the past two years, no other foreign races have come seeking trouble," Han Li mused. "It seems it's time to resolve this matter." He narrowed his eyes, deep in contemplation.

Several months later, above Mount Fuling, the sacred land of the Spirit Race, intense fluctuations suddenly appeared, and a giant boat, black as ink, silently flashed out.

A figure flickered at the bow of the boat, and a green-robed youth bizarrely appeared directly in the void in front of the giant boat.

Naturally, Mount Fuling below fell into chaos. Layers of restrictions emerged, and countless figures soared into the sky from various parts of the mountain.

But the youth paid no attention to anything below. Instead, after letting out a light breath, he spoke loudly and emotionlessly:

"Fellow Daoist Spirit King, Han has come to visit. I hope you can come out for a meeting."

This youth was precisely Han Li!

Although his voice was ordinary, it echoed endlessly throughout the sky above Mount Fuling and contained some immense divine ability. The Spirit Race guards who had soared into the sky below, upon hearing it, all trembled and fell.

The few other Sacred Spirits who had not yet ascended instantly felt their magic power congeal throughout their bodies the moment Han Li's voice entered their ears. Most found it difficult to circulate their power, and everyone's expression changed dramatically.

Just then, an extremely ancient voice finally came from Mount Fuling:

"So it's Fellow Daoist Han gracing us with your presence. This old man has failed to meet you properly. Fellow Daoist, please come in!"

As soon as the old man's voice fell, the restriction on top of Mount Fuling parted, revealing a passage wide enough for one person to pass through.

Han Li smiled slightly, and his figure moved, transforming into a green rainbow that directly soared into the passage.

On the platform in front of the main hall on Mount Fuling's summit, a white-robed old man stood solemnly at the hall's entrance, looking up at something in the sky.

A green light flashed in the air, and Han Li appeared like a phantom in front of the old man.

The white-robed old man, seeing this, his pupils slightly contracted, but a smile appeared on his face as he cupped his hands and said:

"Fellow Daoist's divine abilities are indeed unfathomable, and now you command prestige throughout the entire Spirit Realm. How do you find the time to visit this old man?"

"Brother Spirit King, you are too kind!" Han Li said politely before asking frankly, "I, Han, only obtained this small reputation by chance. Moreover, for beings like us, such a reputation is not necessarily a good thing. As for why I am here, I wish to inquire about something from Brother Spirit King."

"Inquire about something?" The Spirit King frowned. "What does Fellow Daoist Han need to ask this old man about?"

"Does Fellow Daoist recognize the owner of this item?" Without further ado, Han Li shook his sleeve, and an object immediately flew out towards the other side.

The Spirit King simply moved an arm and snatched the incoming object into his hand. It was precisely the damaged life token. But after sensing the aura on it for a moment, his expression immediately changed.

"This life token, did Brother Han acquire it from that fallen Immortal?" the old man asked with a hint of bitterness, his expression shifting for a while.

"It seems I've come to the right person this time, Fellow Daoist," Han Li said, nodding calmly.

"Fellow Daoist, please follow me." The white-robed old man pondered for a moment, then tossed the life token back to Han Li, seemingly having made some decision. Then, without waiting for Han Li to respond, he directly turned and walked into the main hall.

Han Li's expression shifted slightly, and he followed without hesitation.

A short while later, in a mysterious underground space.

Han Li stood before a crystal-clear ice peak, looking with some surprise at an exceptionally handsome youth sealed at the bottom of the peak.

The white-robed old man stood to the side, formed a hand seal with one hand, then raised it, and an incantation immediately flashed and shot into the ice peak.

Moments later, countless white specks of light surged out from the ice wall of the peak. After swirling and condensing, they transformed into a small white figure with a face identical to that of the white-robed old man.

After the small figure's gaze swept over Han Li, it surprisingly did not show much surprise. Instead, it gave a bitter smile and said:

"Fellow Daoist has indeed found your way here. It seems that the recently much-talked-about fallen True Immortal was indeed looking for this immortal whom I have suppressed. This immortal beneath the peak has quietly hidden in the Spirit Realm for so many years; they must carry some great secret. That the Immortal Realm would send someone to search again, I don't find too strange; I merely held a sliver of hope before."

"So this immortal was originally suppressed by Brother Spirit King," Han Li said thoughtfully, staring at the small figure in the ice peak. "It seems the rumors about Fellow Daoist are not entirely groundless."

"It's inconvenient for this old man to elaborate on my origins with Brother Han," the small figure said, shaking its head. "Let's discuss it in detail after I retract the spell." Then, with a flicker of its body, it transformed into a ball of white light and shot towards the white-robed old man. After a flash, it silently disappeared into his body.

The old man, who had originally seemed to possess only an ordinary Mahayana aura, straightened slightly and immediately erupted with an extremely powerful aura. In terms of power, it was absolutely no less than any of the top-tier powerhouses Han Li had ever encountered.

It seemed this was the true Spirit King.

Han Li's eyes flickered twice, but he said nothing.

On the other side, after the Spirit King withdrew his aura, he faced Han Li with a serious expression and asked:

"Fellow Daoist came here with the life token, and you have also seen its owner. What are your plans now?"

"Regardless of this person's relationship with the immortal I killed," Han Li said indifferently, "I do not wish to leave any future troubles."

"Does Fellow Daoist Han intend to kill this immortal as well?" The Spirit King replied, shaking his head. "That might be difficult to achieve, I'm afraid. If it were that easy to succeed, why would this old man have gone to the trouble of suppressing him here with a sealing method and painstakingly refining his True Immortal body with my innate spirit flames?"

"Oh, why is that?" Han Li asked, somewhat surprised. "When I broke through the body of that descending immortal, it didn't seem too difficult."

"This is quite different," the white-robed old man explained. "The immortal Fellow Daoist killed should have already been suppressed by the Spirit Realm's laws, with most of his magic power and physical body constantly used to resist the realm's power. However, this True Immortal whom I suppressed had already replaced his True Immortal body in the Spirit Realm. And who knows what kind of Immortal Realm secret art he cultivated, enabling him to seal all his magic power and primordial spirit within his physical body. The toughness of his body is probably something ordinary True Immortals in the Immortal Realm cannot compare to. Even using a Profound Heavenly Treasure would not be able to harm him."
