Chapter 2446: The Great Xian Descends The Danger of the Commercial Alliance

"Master, please cast your spell. Your subordinate will certainly ensure your protection," Yang Lu said without hesitation.

"Alright, then let's find a place ahead to do this," Ma Liang said calmly after nodding.

The two immediately soared through the air together, heading straight for the massive mountain range in the distance.

Several hours later, atop a gigantic peak in the center of the mountain range, the black-robed youth sat cross-legged on the ground, eyes closed. Before him, a black and white crystal ball spun continuously, and a blood-red ghost face slowly emerged from its surface.

Ma Liang merely pointed a finger at the crystal ball, and instantly, a grimace appeared on the ghost face. Its eyes fixed intently on a certain direction, and the next moment, it spat out a misty blood-red orb of light.

With just a flicker, the orb silently vanished into the black-robed youth's brow.

"Hmph, as expected, those two ran to this continent. Hmm, looking at their direction, it seems extremely close to the He Lian Merchant Alliance. Could they be hiding there?" Ma Liang's eyes snapped open, a hint of surprise on his face.

"Since the Merchant Alliance intends to plot against Master, it is indeed possible they are sheltering those two disrespectful youngsters," Yang Lu replied hurriedly after his eyes darted around.

"If so, all the better. We'll simply deal with them all at once," Ma Liang sneered. With another opening of his mouth, "Puff," the crystal ball and ghost face transformed back into a swirling mass of black and white energy, which he then inhaled.

Then, his expression solidified. He slapped the top of his head, and instantly, after a golden glow swirled, a radiant, misty figure emitting a five-colored aura appeared out of thin air.

This small figure had Ma Liang's exact features, but its body was crystal clear, like glazed glass. With a mere gesture of its tiny hand, a golden talisman immediately unfurled from within its form and circled and danced nearby.

The glazed figure's expression was solemn. After forming a hand seal with both hands, its ten fingers swiftly tapped the golden talisman in rapid succession, like turning wheels.

The talisman hummed, and a grayish-white phantom emerged from it.

This phantom appeared to be an extraordinarily handsome young man, but his eyes were lifeless. He floated silently in the void, and subtly, a black and white band of light connected his body to the talisman.

"Go!"

The glazed figure let out a low cry, and as its spell chant ended, the five-colored glow around its body swirled wildly and erratically.

The phantom of the handsome youth blurred, then suddenly, with lively eyes, darted towards a certain direction. However, after flying only a hundred zhang or so, it was abruptly pulled back by the black and white light band.

"Haha. I've finally found the target of this descent to the lower realm. It seems it won't be long before I can easily return to the Immortal Realm!" Joy appeared on the glazed figure's face, and it couldn't help but burst into laughter.

Following this, the hand seal of the small figure changed. It, along with the golden talisman and the phantom of the handsome man, all flickered and vanished.

Below, Ma Liang's true form opened his eyes, which were filled with excitement. To be able to sense the target's location so easily through a sliver of residual soul was truly beyond his expectations.

"Congratulations, Master! So, should we first go for Master's target for this trip, or head to the He Lian Merchant Alliance first?" Yang Lu also asked, his face beaming with a smile.

"Hmm, since I know the exact location of my target for this journey, there's no need to worry about them escaping. It's better to deal with those who oppose me in the He Lian Merchant Alliance first; it won't take much time anyway. My Myriad Spirit Blood Seal still needs a few grand blood sacrifices to be formally refined," Ma Liang said with a hint of ferocity after a brief contemplation.

Hearing this, Yang Lu naturally had no differing opinion.

Thus, the two soared through the air together, shooting towards a certain direction.

Meanwhile, just as Ma Liang was using that golden talisman to sense his target, in the forbidden land of the Spirit Race's Spirit Domain, beneath a thousand-zhang ice peak emanating faint blue light, a handsome youth, bound by chains of talismans, lay in a coma with his eyes tightly closed.

Suddenly, the golden spirit mark between his eyebrows flickered. His eyes, covered by his eyelids, also seemed to move inadvertently.

With a "bang"!

A ripple appeared before the handsome youth, and a foot-tall white-robed figure flickered into existence within the ice peak. Its face was filled with tension as it scanned the surroundings restlessly, finally its gaze falling upon the handsome youth's face.

After a while, the white-robed figure still found nothing amiss, yet the look of alarm and doubt on its face did not fade. Instead, after a brief contemplation, it formed a hand seal and silently moved its mouth a few times.

A moment later, a white rainbow shot from a distance. After a flicker, a white-robed elder, whose face resembled that of the small figure, silently appeared before the ice peak.

"What happened? Why did you summon me?" the white-robed elder asked the small figure with a grave expression.

"Something seemed amiss just now, but I checked the nearby restrictions and found nothing. Did you notice anything outside?" the small figure said sternly.

"Nothing is happening outside. I've been guarding the entrance, and if something were wrong, I couldn't have failed to sense it," the white-robed elder replied, somewhat surprised.

"If nothing is amiss, then what was that unusual movement earlier? He has clearly been completely sealed by us; not even a trace of his spiritual sense should be able to stir," the small figure asked, frowning tightly.

"If that's the case, it is indeed a bit strange," the white-robed elder mused, not daring to be careless.

"Has anything significant happened in the outside world recently?" the small figure suddenly asked after its eyes flickered a few times.

"Significant events? No, ever since the demon race was repelled, everything in the surrounding area has been normal, except for some growth in human forces," the white-robed elder replied with certainty, stroking his beard.

Although this Spirit King possessed extraordinary power, he maintained an extremely low profile in the Spirit Realm. The He Lian Merchant Alliance, unaware of his true capabilities and preferences, naturally did not include him in their alliance, nor would they inform him of the Immortal's appearance.

"Then perhaps I'm being overcautious. I'll check the restrictions again. If there's truly nothing, it must just be a coincidence," the small figure said, its expression relaxing slightly as it exhaled gently.

"Alright, to be on the safe side, I'll double the outside guards recently, just in case," the white-robed elder replied after some thought, finding no other option.

The small figure nodded, then, without another word, formed a hand seal. Its body "bang"ed, self-destructing into specks of white light that vanished into thin air within the ice peak.

The white-robed elder, his expression shifting uncertainly, bowed his head and pondered for a while longer. Convinced there were no true vulnerabilities, he shook his head and soared away, transforming into a white rainbow that streaked through the sky.

"What? That suspected Blood Sacrifice Fiend has already arrived in Feng Yuan Great, and is heading towards our alliance, only half a month's journey from here?" In the main hall of the He Lian Merchant Alliance, Bi Ying, seated on a chair, exclaimed, her face suddenly changing drastically as she spoke to an inconspicuous middle-aged man before her.

"Not only that, but the First Grand Elder of the Armored Pig Clan has also been slain by him. It was only after we confirmed this information, combined with the description of his appearance, that we dared to be certain he is indeed the Blood Sacrifice Fiend," the man replied, bowing respectfully.

"The Armored Pig Clan's territory isn't close to us. How did you only get this news now?" Bi Ying stood up abruptly from her chair, her face contorted with shifting emotions as she demanded.

"Lord Bi, this Blood Sacrifice Fiend acts extremely strangely and swiftly. If he hadn't been recognized by one of our alliance disciples while using a certain teleportation array, I'm afraid we still wouldn't know of his arrival in Feng Yuan by now," the man replied with a wry smile.

"Has the news that the fiend is heading directly for our alliance also been confirmed?" Bi Ying asked again.

"That should be correct. According to his route, there are no other major powers in his path except for our alliance. Could this fiend have already learned that our alliance plans to gather powerful cultivators to deal with him, prompting him to act this way?" the man replied with great certainty after a moment of hesitation.

"Indeed, this information must have leaked, and most likely, the source was the First Grand Elder of the Armored Pig Clan. I had extended an invitation to him previously, and now that he has fallen into the fiend's hands, it seems he was thoroughly soul-searched. Otherwise, the fiend's current actions cannot be explained," Bi Ying replied grimly after frowning and pondering for a long while.

"What should we do now? Although we know this fiend is headed here, half a month is definitely not enough time to gather those powerful cultivators. No one expected this fiend to target our alliance directly," the man said, a hint of panic in his voice.

"Why panic? Since we cannot confront him head-on right now, the only option is for our alliance to disperse and retreat temporarily, to buy us some time to gather the powerful cultivators of this continent," Bi Ying said, already having a plan.

"Temporarily retreat?" The man paused, slightly surprised by this.

"Our alliance is different from other clans and factions; we don't have a large population or fixed territory. As long as we move all our personnel from the open into the shadows, I don't believe the fiend can truly do anything to our alliance," Bi Ying said calmly.

"Indeed, this is an excellent idea! Your subordinate will arrange the evacuation immediately," the man said, finally realizing, his face filled with joy.

"Don't rush. Besides the evacuation, immediately send messages to all the powerful cultivators from various clans we've previously arranged with. Have them all gather at the Outer Heavens in the Land of Resounding Evil. The Deathly Evil Qi there is incredibly dense, perfectly suited for summoning the ancient True Spirits worshipped by our alliance," Bi Ying instructed confidently.

"Battling the fiend there is naturally the best choice, but will he obediently go to that place?" the man asked with some hesitation.

"Don't worry. Wasn't the reason I invited the Six-Winged duo to the alliance precisely for a time like this?" Bi Ying said with a cold laugh.

"I see, your subordinate understands," the man replied, now fully comprehending. After bowing respectfully with admiration, he immediately withdrew from the hall.

After pacing back and forth a few times, Bi Ying returned to her seat, her face displaying fluctuating expressions as she pondered something.

In the Green Origin Palace on Yuanhe Island of the Human Race, Han Li sat cross-legged on a meditation cushion, gazing at a ball of purplish-golden lightning he held in his hand.

This ball of lightning was no larger than a fist, yet though streaks of electricity flickered within it, there was no sound whatsoever, no rumble of thunder to be heard. It appeared truly bizarre.
