Chapter 2180: Battle of the Demon World The Giant Channel Vessel

A golden flash later, the flying carriage carrying Han Li and his companions continued without a pause, shooting like a meteor directly towards the center of the demonic cloud. A huge passage, about a mile in diameter, was revealed within the swirling black mist.

Just then, two distinct, cold voices suddenly echoed from the mist on either side!

"This way is blocked!"

"Get back!"

No sooner had the words fallen than a clap of thunder erupted from the black mist on one side. A black electric arc, over ten feet long, flashed out, transforming into a lightning-dragon that struck directly towards the flying carriage. From the other side, a long cry was heard, and the phantom of a colossal green sword emerged from the mist. It slashed through the air, and a swirling wave of green sword light rolled forth.

Witnessing this from the flying carriage, Han Li's expression subtly changed. Although the two attackers remained hidden within the mist, the sheer power of their combined assault was astonishing, clearly indicating they were no ordinary Demon Venerables.

Of course, Han Li paid little heed to such an attack. He immediately shook one sleeve, while with his other hand, he gently pointed a finger towards the green sword. A thunderous roar erupted from his sleeve, followed by a golden flash, as a thick golden arc shot forth. Simultaneously, a burst of sword energy appeared at his fingertip on the other side, and a bright golden light surged out.

With two resounding "booms," the lightning arc met the lightning arc, and the sword light met the sword light. The moment they connected, a blinding radiance erupted, but it quickly faded, and all four disappeared simultaneously. It seemed as though they had fought to a standstill.

Han Li was momentarily stunned by this sight, and the two demons in the black clouds on either side were also greatly astonished. It was important to note that while the attacks launched by the two high-level demons appeared ordinary, they actually contained extraordinary power. The black electric arc was a formidable divine lightning, one of the four renowned divine thunders of the Demon Realm, imbued with an incredibly potent corrupting force. Any magical artifact or treasure struck by it would instantly be corroded into a thousand holes. As for the other green sword energy, it was the life-bound divine ability cultivated by the other demon for nearly ten thousand years. Its unparalleled sharp power had severed countless flying swords and daggers. Yet, with their combined attack, Han Li had neutralized them with a single strike using similar methods. This left the two self-important demons utterly dismayed.

However, Han Li had no intention of lingering in their surprise. The flying carriage, which had momentarily paused due to the slight jolt, shuddered again and transformed into a green rainbow, plunging into the entrance of the massive passage.

"How dare you?!"

"You won't get away!"

Seeing this, the two high-level demons on either side erupted in simultaneous fury, casting their earlier surprise aside. They instantly struck again. This time, from the black mist on one side, tens of thousands of lightning bolts roared, and dense black electric arcs shot forth. On the other side, a sharp screech resounded, and a sword light four or five times thicker than the previous one, shining with a sun-like brilliance, came sweeping down.

Both attacks were launched almost simultaneously, and their targets were not the flying carriage itself, but directly the entrance of the passage. In the next moment, the passage entrance was completely sealed. For the flying carriage to enter, it first had to break through their obstruction.

Witnessing this, Han Li, instead of getting angry, began to laugh on the flying carriage. With a low roar, his body surged with golden light, and he instantly transformed into a several-zhang-tall golden-furred giant ape. He clenched his two large hands, making his arms visibly thicken by several circles, and unleashed his full strength, continuously striking the electric arcs and sword light before him with loud "thuds." With Han Li's divine power in his transformed mountain-giant ape form, when unleashed at full strength, its might reached an unimaginable level. Even Grand Ascension stage cultivators would undoubtedly be unwilling to withstand such a blow head-on.

The space ahead twisted and rippled violently. The air blurred, then coalesced into two enormous, hazy golden fist shadows, each the size of a small mountain. They descended like solid objects, smashing downwards. With a deafening, earth-shaking roar, the obstructing electric arcs and sword light shattered into countless pieces under the golden, radiant impact of the fist shadows. A path was forcibly carved open.

The flying carriage blurred for an instant, flashed through like a phantom, and completely disappeared into the space channel behind. Subsequently, a five-colored light flickered within the passage, and waves of spatial fluctuations emanated from it, after which the flying carriage was gone without a trace.

At this point, the black clouds on either side parted, and two figures swiftly shot out. After a few flashes, they both appeared at the entrance of the space channel. Gazing into the unfathomable depths of the passage, a hint of panic appeared on their faces.

Of the two demons, one had a handsome face, wore a purple robe, and had a single horn on his head. The other had dark skin, fiery red hair, and was clad in white battle armor.

"What do we do? They actually broke in! What if they run right into His Lordship?" the dark-skinned demon, who appeared to be in his forties, exclaimed exasperatedly.

"It shouldn't be that coincidental. His Lordship only said he would return from the Spirit Realm today, but he didn't specify the time. Perhaps he'll only return tonight," the other demon, the purple-robed one, managed to regain his composure, though his words sounded unconvincing.

"I wish that were true! But no matter what, this time, we definitely can't escape responsibility for dereliction of duty. Who exactly are these people, daring to trespass into the space channel? Are they not afraid of angering the Saint Ancestor?" The dark-skinned demon sighed, a worried expression on his face, but his last few words turned into a gnash of teeth.

"Leaving aside the others, the person who attacked earlier possesses unfathomably profound divine abilities. He effortlessly shattered both our divine powers. He's certainly no ordinary Demon Venerable, but he doesn't seem to be one of the Saint Ancestors either," the purple-robed demon hesitated for a moment, a glimmer of surprise in his eyes.

"A Saint Ancestor? Absolutely impossible. While that person's divine abilities are formidable, they are nowhere near that realm. Furthermore, if a Saint Ancestor were to arrive, why would they force their way in? They would simply reveal their identity, and we would respectfully make way for them!" The dark-skinned demon shook his head like a rattling drum.

"If it's not a Saint Ancestor-level existence, it seems highly unlikely for other well-known Demon Venerable-level powerhouses below the Grand Ascension stage to be as powerful as that person was just now. If such a figure truly existed, how could we not have heard of them? Let's check with the other venerables who just arrived to see if they noticed anything." The purple-robed demon pondered for a moment, then spoke with a hint of worry.

"You and I couldn't discern their identities; those useless fools probably didn't even get a clear look at them. How could they help?" The dark-skinned demon glanced downwards, seeing several dazzling streaks of light shooting towards them. He narrowed his eyes and spoke disdainfully.

"But regardless, asking won't hurt. Perhaps we can still get some clues," the purple-robed demon said, unconcerned by his companion's skepticism.

While the two demons were talking, the streaks of light finally converged at the space channel, revealing several Demon Venerables of varying heights. They bowed to the two high-level demons, appearing exceptionally respectful. The dark-skinned demon didn't bother with pleasantries. He immediately made a gesture in the air before him. Immediately, space rippled, and within a hazy green light, the images of Han Li and his two companions appeared.

"Do any of you have any impression of these people? Does anyone recognize them?" the dark-skinned demon asked coldly.

Upon hearing the dark-skinned demon's question, the newly arrived Demon Venerables meticulously examined the images of Han Li and his companions, then looked at each other in bewilderment. After a long moment, a withered-looking demon venerable stepped forward and cautiously said, "My lords, judging by the power of your divine abilities, these individuals are very likely not from our Demon Realm, but powerful human cultivators from the Spirit Realm!"

"Human cultivators!" The dark-skinned demon was stunned upon hearing this, a hint of confusion in his expression. The purple-robed demon beside him also subtly changed his expression.

"That's right. My lords have been in seclusion cultivating since you garrisoned this place, so it's not surprising you're unaware. But in truth, news concerning these human cultivators has already spread throughout most of the Saint Realm. There are even rumors of Saint Ancestors being defeated by them." Another demon venerable, who looked like a woman, hastily explained.

"Such things? Tell us about them in detail," the two high-level demons' faces changed dramatically, both appearing somewhat incredulous.

"This matter dates back several years..." The withered demon dared not delay and immediately began to recount the various rumors about Han Li. As the two high-level demons listened intently, their expressions constantly shifted.

Within the inter-realm spatial channel, the flying carriage was already completely enveloped in layers of runes and light barriers, moving rapidly forward on its own, propelled by spatial fluctuations. Han Li stood at the front of the flying carriage, having already reverted to human form. Although he still stood perfectly straight, the expression on his face had visibly relaxed. Once inside the channel, the flying carriage would automatically return to the Spirit Realm in a few hours. Although the other end of the channel was the Wood Race Spirit Territory, it still brought a slight thrill to Han Li's heart, a sense of excitement akin to returning home.

Time passed by, and the flying carriage continued its journey smoothly, albeit with occasional jolts. Han Li was secretly estimating that they had covered more than half the journey through the channel when, suddenly, spatial fluctuations appeared directly ahead. Another massive, pitch-black warship, over a hundred feet long and teeming with demon guards, abruptly emerged and sped towards them.

"Not good!" Han Li cried out inwardly, his face turning grim as he channeled his magic power. While it was generally unwise to engage in combat in a spatial channel for fear of triggering violent spatial storms, he certainly wouldn't passively await an attack if the other party recklessly initiated one. The warship's imposing aura was so striking that the high-level demon in charge was likely no ordinary Demon Venerable. Naturally, he needed to exercise even greater caution.

Both the flying carriage and the massive warship were moving extremely fast! In just a breath's time, they were within close proximity, able to see each other clearly.
