Commentary: What can I say? This fan fiction gives me a feeling similar to when I first read *Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio* and *Journey to the West*. There are too many talented readers out there, so I must give a hearty shout-out!

It is said that when heaven and earth were first created, chaos transformed into the primeval world, and all things came into being. At the Purple Heaven Palace, Hongjun lectured, and many great powerful beings attended. Laozi, Primordial Lord, and Tongtian became saints by virtue of their origins from the red blossom, green lotus, and white root. Nuwa, Fuxi, and others became saints due to their merits in establishing the Human Teaching. The other powerful beings, not having received the purple qi, could only cultivate ceaselessly, still destined to undergo the three disasters and six tribulations in the mortal world. The story branches into two paths, each with its own tale. Now, let's speak of the Underworld, the Nine Nethers. Since the separation of chaos, a blood cloud naturally formed, transforming into a sea. Over time, it gained sentience and took human form as a middle-aged man who called himself Daoist Nether River. He too attended the Ancestor's lectures at the Purple Heaven Palace, but alas, his destiny was as thin as paper; he did not obtain the great Dao's secrets. Yet, due to his profound magical power, he dominated this region, becoming a king and ancestor, enjoying a period of carefree existence. The Nine Nethers are a place of yin-filth and corruption, where even powerful cultivators would have the three flowers atop their heads eroded by the defiling qi. Thus, Daoist Nether River's cultivation methods also leaned towards the demonic. Thirty-six thousand years later, Daoist Nether River and the Yellow Spring Ghost Mother had a son. He could speak at birth and walk as soon as he touched the ground. The Nether River couple loved him immensely, naming him Rahu and teaching him all their magical arts.

When Rahu reached eighteen, he had already mastered his divine abilities, cultivating the Great Heaven-Swallowing Dao technique, capable of controlling a ghostly mist that could devour anything. He was handsome, captivating countless female cultivators. However, his nature was inconstant, leaving many broken hearts in the world. One day, Rahu, by his father's command, went to the North Sea to pay respects to its master, Daoist Kunpeng. Little did he know that this trip would stir up immense trouble. It turned out that Daoist Kunpeng was also an extraordinary and powerful being, having once held a seat in the Purple Heaven Palace. He had only one daughter, born to him and the Nine Heavens Phoenix Maiden. This daughter was unparalleled in beauty, intelligent, and possessed immense divine power. Her true form, when transformed, had wings that spanned ten thousand miles, obscuring the sky and blocking out the sun, earning her the title "Wandering Kunpeng." She was deeply cherished by Daoist Kunpeng and loved to roam freely in the North Sea. On this day, as Rahu arrived above the North Sea, just about to send an invitation to notify the master of the North Sea, he saw the sea surging, with waves reaching the sky. Where the water parted, a woman seated on a Water-Repelling Golden-Eyed Beast emerged from the sea. Upon seeing her appearance, Rahu was instantly dumbfounded. How beautiful was this woman? A poem testifies: "Her face was like white jade, her eyes like stars, / Her faint eyebrows held a touch of sorrow. / Her willowy waist seemed about to break in the wind, / Her delicate steps descended from a lofty tower. / Her vermilion lips parted, revealing teeth like pearls, / Her myriad strands of dark hair rivaled soft clouds. / Though not competing with Nong Yu's flute skills, / She would put Guanyin on her lotus seat to shame."

Kunpeng's daughter secretly glanced at Rahu, seeing him as a handsome and charming young man, and was secretly pleased. Rahu straightened his clothes, stepped forward, bowed, and announced his name. Kunpeng's daughter, her face flushed with spring's blush, playfully chided: "Since we are practically family, why are you so formal, brother? Come with me to see my father." Along the way to Kunpeng's dwelling, Rahu, being a seasoned charmer, naturally showed concern and care, deliberately acting cautiously, and presenting strange and wonderful trinkets to Kunpeng's daughter. Their affections for each other grew passionate throughout the journey. Upon reaching the abode, Kunpeng was delighted to see the son of an old acquaintance. After exchanging pleasantries, he invited Rahu to stay in the North Sea for a few days, which Rahu naturally accepted. Half a month quickly passed. Kunpeng's daughter and Rahu traveled together, and their feelings deepened further. When Rahu was about to return to the Underworld, Kunpeng's daughter was heartbroken and unhappy. On the day Rahu began his journey back, Kunpeng's daughter reluctantly saw him off. They arrived at Mount Wu. Seeing her low spirits, Rahu asked her the reason. Kunpeng's daughter sighed and revealed her concerns. Rahu was overjoyed, embraced Kunpeng's daughter, and swore to the heavens that he would marry no one but her. They became intimately entangled. Kunpeng's daughter suddenly felt something unusual and asked: "Brother, what weapon are you using? Why are you showing it now? Are you trying to scare me?" Rahu laughed: "Eighteen years ago, I forged this iron pestle; only now can it conquer all women. My dear, take a good look." The two immediately fell to the ground, engaging in the 'rites of Duke Zhou' (sexual intercourse). A poem states: "Twin peaks pierced the clouds, revealing the sun; / Jade thighs gently swayed with amber light. / The flower-strewn path was never swept for guests, / But today, the humble door opens for you."

Afterwards, Rahu and Kunpeng's daughter bid farewell. Rahu said: "Since you and I are to be husband and wife, I shall report to my parents, set an auspicious date, and welcome you into our home." Kunpeng's daughter joyfully replied: "I hope you will keep your word, brother. I shall await good news here." Rahu solemnly declared: "A true man never regrets his words. If I betray you, may the heavenly tribulation strike me down." Kunpeng's daughter, on the verge of tears, said: "Brother, do not make such a harsh vow. If that day truly comes, I wouldn't wish for heaven and earth to punish you. I would rather kill myself first, then stab you to death with a sword." Rahu: "...The sequence seems off, doesn't it?"

Upon Rahu's return to the Underworld, within a few days, his old habits resurfaced. He indulged in nightly revelries with various female cultivators, completely forgetting Kunpeng's daughter. Kunpeng's daughter waited anxiously for news of Rahu in the North Sea, but her beloved never returned. She had only her solitude and despair for company. This separation lasted three years. At that time, the Human Teaching flourished, and the Investiture of the Gods was underway. King Zhou was depraved and immoral, and King Wu raised an army to subjugate him. Jiang Shang built the God-Sealing Platform and established the God-Sealing List, drawing in cultivators from the Five Mountains and Four Seas. Afterwards, karmic entanglements intensified, and even various powerful beings could not escape. Daoist Kunpeng was persuaded by Shen Gongbao to assist the Yin-Shang dynasty but was suppressed by Daoist Randeng and Daoist Lu Ya using the Sea-Stabilizing Pearls, trapping him within the eye of the North Sea. The North Sea lineage was instantly overthrown. Kunpeng's daughter narrowly escaped and hastily rushed to the Underworld to find Rahu. Daoist Nether River was not in his abode at this time, and Rahu was unwilling to entangle with this woman again. However, Kunpeng's daughter possessed the River Chart and Luo Book, making her formidable in power. Rahu feigned hospitality, inviting Kunpeng's daughter into the Underworld. Secretly, he activated a sinister formation and used a strange, defiling underworld poison to destroy her cultivation, seize the River Chart and Luo Book, and imprison her in the yin prison. He then went off to indulge in pleasures elsewhere. Kunpeng's daughter wept blood daily, vowing revenge.

One day, Daoist Nether River returned to the Underworld and, while inspecting the yin prison, discovered Kunpeng's daughter imprisoned there. He was surprised and asked for the reason. His subordinates reported that this woman, whose origin was unknown, had an old grievance with the young master and had come seeking revenge, thus being imprisoned by him. Daoist Nether River pondered for a long time, secretly thinking: "Kunpeng was ignorant of the times and suppressed by the Chan School. This woman now has no backing. What 'rich second generation'? A phoenix in decline is not even as good as a chicken. Surely, if I eliminate this woman, no one will know. However, this woman is indeed beautiful..." At this thought, a gleam appeared in Daoist Nether River's eyes. Kunpeng's daughter was not foolish and instantly understood: "My sect's treasure has been seized by Rahu, and my cultivation is sealed. If I cannot regain my freedom, all is lost!" She pleaded with Nether River: "I am a ruined and helpless woman. I did not come here specifically for revenge, but I angered the young master, and for that, I deserve countless deaths. Heaven has the virtue of fostering life; even ants seek to survive. I beg you, Senior, to forgive my transgressions. I am willing to acknowledge you as my godfather." Nether River was startled, then said: "A wise person speaks frankly. Your desire to live is very sincere. What kind of goddaughter are you willing to be?" Kunpeng's daughter shyly replied: "Whatever my godfather commands, your servant is willing." Nether River was overjoyed and immediately took Kunpeng's daughter to his bedroom to engage in vile acts.

One day, Rahu returned from outside and stumbled upon two naked figures rolling around in the study. His eyes instantly blazed with fury, and he roared: "You beast! You old immortal! What do you have to say for yourself now that things have come to this?" Nether River hurriedly replied: "My son, calm down. What you see is all an illusion." Unexpectedly, Kunpeng's daughter had fully recovered her true essence. She unleashed her Star-Sucking power, draining Nether River into a dried husk. She then repossessed the Yuan Tu and Abi Twin Swords from Nether River's Dantian. Standing in mid-air, she let out a mournful, prolonged laugh, pointed at Rahu, and furiously declared: "I foolishly trusted your words and entrusted my whole life to you, this scoundrel! My family is ruined, and I traveled countless miles to come to you. I wanted to be your wife, but instead, I became your mother! From this day forth, in this vast world, there is no room for both of us! If you exist, I shall not; if I exist, you shall not!" Rahu, too, was filled with a mixture of grief and rage. The two then tumbled and fought each other.

What a fierce battle it was! Resplendent purple lightning illuminated heaven and earth, rolling black mist enveloped the sun's edge. The furious blade of Yuan Tu shattered the Big Dipper, and the sword qi of Abi split the cloud peaks. This battle caused the celestial phenomena to overturn, stars to fall, and in the mortal realm, corpses lay for a hundred thousand li, and blood flowed deep enough to float pestles. The surging resentment immediately alarmed the Primordial Lord of Heaven in Kunlun Mountain. The Heavenly Lord calculated with his fingers, then sighed, "These two troublesome children." He then used his great divine power to force them back to their original forms. Kunpeng's daughter reverted to her fish-body and roc-wings, banished from the Three Realms. Rahu transformed into black mist, exiled deep into the Nine Nethers. However, this pair of sworn enemies, whenever they meet, are bound to fight to the death. Hundreds of thousands of years later, as the Wandering Kunpeng and Rahu contended, a feather fell, granting a cultivator named Han a great stroke of fortune. This is a story for later, to be told by 'Forgetful Fatty.' This humble Daoist will not elaborate further. Esteemed readers, please give your tips and support!
