**Chapter Ten: War in the Demon Realm**

Though the golden orb appeared small, the moment it was unleashed, its light flashed, instantly transforming into a massive vortex that descended over the giant man's head. An immense, invisible force surged from within, pressing down on the giant man, causing him to hunch slightly. The nearby void twisted, emitting a rumbling hum, as if poised to explode at any moment.

The demon giant's face flushed an unusual crimson, and his body trembled slightly under the vortex's terrifying power. Yet, he wasn't truly overwhelmed. Instead, a fierce glint flashed in his eyes, and he let out a loud roar! Immediately, his blood-colored battle armor erupted with dazzling crimson flames, and an utterly terrifying aura emanated from his body. Wherever the crimson flames spread, the surrounding void seemed to melt, turning dark black. The invisible, immense force that enveloped him was also instantly pushed away.

The giant man's body immediately straightened. He then slowly raised a hand, grasping at the void.

A resounding 'bang'!

The three-headed demon lion above his head instantly burst into a cloud of black mist. As the mist swirled into the giant man's hand, it transformed into a jet-black demon spear, about ten feet long. The spear glowed with an eerie, dark spiritual light. Its spearhead was split into three, each end inscribed with a ferocious lion's head, and its entire shaft was covered in dense, dark blue spiritual runes.

A savage expression appeared on the giant man's face. With a mere flick of his wrist, the spear shot forth with a piercing shriek. A flash of black light, and the spear instantly vanished into the vortex's center. A strange sight unfolded: the seemingly mighty golden vortex, the moment the black spear vanished, immediately shattered inch by inch with a muffled thud, finally dissipating into scattered specks of spiritual light.

With a single grab, the demon giant caused black mist to swirl, and the jet-black demon spear materialized once more. Without hesitation, he hurled it again. This time, the black spear's target was precisely the somewhat stunned three-headed giant ape in the air.

The spear flashed, then strangely materialized right before the giant ape's eyes. Startled, the golden-furred giant ape instinctively waved its six arms in the air. Six gleaming golden heavy weapons instantly appeared in its palms, simultaneously transforming into six golden streaks that fiercely smashed towards the black spear.

An earth-shattering roar!

After an intertwining burst of golden light and black energy, both simultaneously dissipated and vanished. Seeing this, the giant ape's pupils constricted. Before it could even react, the giant man below burst into laughter, then, with another grab and throw, an identical demon spear shot towards it again.

The giant ape snorted coldly, its six massive hands sweeping out. The six golden weapons reappeared and struck, once again destroying themselves along with the black demon spear. This time, it was the giant man who paused slightly, his hand freezing mid-action.

During this brief pause, the giant ape let out a low growl. The six golden weapons reappeared in its hands, but this time, it hurled them forth. Its three heads instantly began chanting. With a 'whoosh', the six weapons burst into brilliant golden light. Innumerable blurry phantoms flashed forth, multiplying from one to ten, then from ten to a hundred, instantly forming thousands of golden spectral weapons that rained down overwhelmingly.

Immediately, the air filled with whistling sounds, and golden light flashed as far as the eye could see. The demon giant's face darkened, but he showed no sign of panic. Instead, a cold sneer played on his lips as he opened his mouth, unleashing a burst of purple light. The moment the purple light emerged, it spun and then burst open. Countless threads of light shot out from the purple burst, instantly forming a colossal net that spread across the sky to meet the incoming assault.

The golden phantoms, like a torrential downpour, surged into the light net, creating a continuous volley of explosive sounds. Inside the net, golden light and purple energy swirled and roared, causing the entire net to tremble and flash violently, as if it could be torn apart at any moment.

The giant man below, however, ignored this. Instead, he chanted incantations, wildly pointing his ten fingers at the void as if performing a whirlwind technique. With each point, the crimson flames on his body dimmed slightly, while the light net in the air rapidly expanded. Within moments, the colossal net swelled several times its original size, as if inflated, transforming into a boundless purple cloud. Activated by the giant man's technique, this cloud suddenly swept up everything like a gale, completely engulfing all the golden phantoms in the sky. It then condensed back into a purple orb of light and descended.

The giant man beckoned with one hand, and the orb of light instantly flashed into his palm. However, after sweeping his gaze across the sky once more, his expression immediately turned cold. The high sky was empty; the three-headed, six-armed golden-furred giant ape had vanished without a trace.

The giant man's eyes flickered. Before he could even react, a ripple appeared behind him, and a gleaming golden beast claw flashed into existence. The claw merely trembled, yet it swelled to a massive ten zhang in size, then savagely swiped down at the giant man like a small mountain. The sound of tearing air intensified, and each sharp talon of the colossal claw resembled a golden great blade. With multiple slashes, it was seemingly unstoppable.

The giant man, however, snorted coldly. With a sudden burst of blood-red flames, he threw his hand back, grasping defiantly towards the golden colossal claw. Though the two appeared vastly different in size, the moment his palm reached out, its five fingers instantly expanded a hundredfold.

A 'bang'!

The instant the golden colossal claw made contact with the blood-red hand, an overwhelming, irresistible force surged through it, causing it to shatter and vanish with a tremble. Simultaneously, a faint golden phantom shot backward from the void—it was a small, glittering golden beast. This beast was only a few feet in size, yet it exuded a powerful aura typical of a being at the Body Integration stage. It was Han Li's Leopard-Scaled Beast. This beast, unbeknownst to the giant man, had been secretly released by Han Li and had snuck close to deliver a sneak attack, but it appeared to have retreated unsuccessfully.

The moment the small beast was repelled, a silver light flashed from the demon giant's side. A silver rainbow shot out like a streamer, then, with a single flash, it unexpectedly coiled tightly around the giant man's entire body. With a ripple, the three-headed, six-armed giant ape materialized from the same location. The moment the ape appeared, a cold glint flashed in its eyes, and its six weapons transformed into six golden streaks that furiously struck the giant man's head and face. Simultaneously, its three heads opened their mouths, unleashing three bursts of silver flames. With a flash, these transformed into three firebirds that spread their wings and dove straight for the giant man.

Facing all this, the demon giant narrowed his eyes, yet showed no hint of panic. After his body's blood-red flames surged, the shocking silver rainbow shattered inch by inch. Then, one of his hands blurred, and as black qi swirled, a black spear materialized. With a slight flick of his wrist, the spear shot directly towards the giant ape. But mid-flight, the spear flickered, instantly transforming into nine identical demon spears that then shot forth from his grasp. Six of them shifted course to meet the six golden lights, while the remaining three split off to pierce the three silver flames.

Successive 'thump, thump' sounds rang out. Upon impact, all six golden lights and three silver flames were extinguished without exception. The three-headed, six-armed giant ape, which Han Li had transformed into, recoiled backward, its expression shifting. With a movement of its two arms, black qi swirled, forming a quick barrier in front of its body.

A loud boom!

The seemingly empty void in front of its arms twisted, then another black spear shot forth, striking its arms in a flash. Black runes swirled on Han Li's arms, and two jet-black armguards mysteriously appeared. However, the instant they made contact with the black spear, they simultaneously flashed and vanished. Seeing this, the giant ape felt a slight easing of tension in its heart.

However, the demon giant, who had remained perfectly still, suddenly revealed a strange expression on his face. Simultaneously, he uttered a bone-chilling word: "Annihilate."

From where the black spear had vanished, a black light flashed, and another miniature short spear, only half a foot long, silently shot forth. Concealed by the original spear, this short spear was so imperceptible that even Han Li's formidable divine sense failed to detect it. Before he could even react or change his expression, it fiercely pierced his bare arms and immediately burst open.

A colossal halo, resembling a black sun, flashed forth, expanding to over a thousand zhang in size and instantly engulfing the giant ape's massive body. Witnessing this, the demon giant's face instantly revealed a hint of triumph, and he burst into wild laughter. "Haha, no one has ever survived once I unleash my Nine Demon Mother-Child Spears. Human brat, you should be proud that you compelled me to use this divine ability."

Amidst the giant man's wild laughter, the colossal black sun finally began to shrink and dissipate, flashing a few times before disappearing entirely. The giant man carelessly swept his gaze over the spot where the giant ape had been, but his laughter abruptly ceased as if choked, and his face shifted to an expression of disbelief.

"Impossible! How can this happen!" The giant man swallowed, his voice trembling slightly as he choked out the words. There, in the void, a ball of golden light hovered silently, completely motionless. Within the hazy golden radiance, there stood a golden-furred giant ape, a five-colored phoenix, and a silver-white giant roc. The golden giant ape pressed its hands against the golden radiance, streams of faint golden spiritual light pouring wildly into it. Though the five-colored phoenix and silver roc remained motionless, the five-colored light and silver electric arcs emanating from their bodies, upon leaving the golden radiance, instantly formed two additional layers of protective light barriers outside the golden glow.

However, the golden-furred giant ape, the colorful phoenix, and the giant roc all had vacant eyes, showing no hint of sentience, as if they were merely stiff, lifeless puppets. Alarmed, the giant man quickly scanned his surroundings, as if searching for something, but the area was utterly empty, with no anomalies visible.

The giant man snorted coldly, then suddenly raised a hand and gestured towards a distant point. A black shadow flashed, and a dark, amorphous object immediately appeared beside the giant man. It was the same mountain ghoul-like entity that had previously engaged the Brahma Holy Golden Body. However, when the black mist surrounding this monster dispersed, its true form was finally revealed. It was, in fact, a charred wooden puppet, entirely black, with countless golden and silver rune arrays inscribed across its surface. The puppet had a green face and fangs, unnaturally long limbs, and its eyes gleamed faintly with blood-red light, giving it an exceptionally ferocious appearance.
