Upon hearing Han Li's words, Silverlight Fairy's eyes behind her mask flickered, but she ultimately offered no objections.

The guards nearby, witnessing this, immediately responded in affirmation. They instructed the others to quickly activate the teleportation array.

Without a word, Silverlight Fairy, her white robes fluttering, stepped into the center of the magic array. Han Li smiled and calmly walked onto the teleportation array as well.

A moment later, the teleportation array beneath their feet began to hum, and milky-white spiritual light radiated outwards. With a flash, their figures vanished without a trace amidst the bright spiritual light.

Han Li felt light swirling around him, and everything before his eyes suddenly blurred. With his current divine abilities, this teleportation distance caused no discomfort other than a slight sensation of his head sinking.

But the moment the surrounding light dissipated and Han Li's feet touched solid ground again, his spiritual sense immediately swept outwards, encompassing everything nearby. His face instantly darkened, and a cold glint flashed deep within his pupils.

Almost simultaneously, a sudden whooshing sound filled the air, and countless black streaks of light shot towards them from all directions, numbering in the hundreds. Without hesitation, Han Li formed a hand seal, and a grayish halo suddenly emerged around his body. It was initially only about a zhang (approx. 3.3 meters) in size, but with a flicker, it expanded manifold, enveloping all the incoming black streaks of light.

The black streaks trembled and were immediately frozen in the gray light by a strange power, revealing their true forms. They were black crossbow bolts, each about a foot long, dark and gleaming. Their tips emitted an eerie purple glow, seemingly coated with some kind of potent poison.

Only then did Han Li unhurriedly sweep his gaze around. He found himself in a vast hall, over a hundred zhang wide. Around the hall were fifty to sixty demon armored soldiers, clad in black battle armor, each holding a dark hand crossbow, staring at Han Li and Silverlight Fairy with expressions of surprise. Most of these demons were at the Core Formation stage, with a few Nascent Soul level cultivators interspersed among them. However, the highest cultivated demon was a one-horned Anyi demon at the Deity Transformation stage, with rough skin and emerald green eyes.

But at this moment, the leading demon, staring in horror at Han Li and Silverlight Fairy, suddenly shrieked: "No good, it's a Human Race Integration stage old monster! Retreat quickly!"

As soon as his voice fell, a thick burst of demonic energy erupted from the high-ranking demon with a "bang," instantly filling almost the entire hall. His true body, under the cover of this demonic energy, immediately transformed into a black streak of light and shot towards the exit, attempting to escape. As for the other demon armored soldiers, they were naturally equally alarmed and also attempted to use their escape techniques to flee.

But how could Han Li let them have their way? A murderous aura appeared on his face as the grayish light haze suddenly expanded and contracted. The black crossbow bolts, originally suspended motionless in the air, instantly turned around and shot out in the opposite direction. Their speed was astonishing, more than ten times faster than their original trajectory! In a flash, the surrounding demon armored soldiers screamed and fell one after another.

Then, the gray light haze in the hall swirled, and countless fine gray threads emerged. With a single stir, the bodies of all the demon armored soldiers mysteriously split into pieces. Amidst the flickering gray light, not even their Nascent Souls could escape.

But this was not the end. Han Li cast a cold glance at the leading demon, who had already shot towards the entrance during this brief moment. Han Li then suddenly extended a hand and made a grabbing motion in the void. With a "whoosh," a massive green hand instantly materialized above the demon and slammed down like lightning.

A miserable shriek! The Deity Transformation stage demon was utterly incapable of resisting the immense power of the giant palm. He couldn't even unleash his protective treasures before being instantly crushed into a pulp.

Only then did Han Li flick his sleeve towards the void. Amidst the flickering light, the countless gray threads and the large green hand dispersed and vanished as if they were mere illusions. He then turned to Silverlight Fairy, who had also just teleported out, and said with a smile: "Fellow Daoist Silverlight, it seems this place has indeed been discovered by the demon race. However, it doesn't seem to be highly valued, as they've only dispatched a small number of personnel to monitor it."

"It's not that the demon race doesn't value it," Silverlight Fairy replied, seemingly very knowledgeable about the matter. "Rather, our human race has established too many secret teleportation points outside our major cities. It's impossible for the demon race to send heavy troops to monitor every single one. The presence of a Deity Transformation stage demon at this teleportation point already indicates it's quite valued by them."

"So that's how it is. Your words are indeed reasonable, Fairy," Han Li mused for a moment, then gave a wry smile.

He then flicked his finger, and a fireball shot out. With a flicker, it transformed into a crimson firebird and swooped down to the ground. After the firebird passed over them, the remains of the demon race instantly turned to ashes, leaving behind only storage artifacts of various sizes. Unlike the storage bracelets in the Spirit Realm, the demon race's storage artifacts were actually storage belts.

With a sweep of his sleeve, Han Li pulled these belts into the air and casually scanned them with his spiritual sense. He frowned slightly. The storage belts of these demon armored soldiers contained very few items. Besides some dark, gleaming crystals, most were array discs and array flags. The black crystals were likely the rumored demon crystal stones, a special product of the Demon Realm. These crystals were similar to the spirit stones of the Human and Spirit Realms, except they were naturally filled with pure demonic energy.

Han Li shook his head. With a flash of spiritual light in his hand, the storage belts were put away. He then took a large stride and walked out of the hall. His spiritual sense had already swept over everything nearby moments ago, confirming that there were no other beings present apart from these few dozen demons. That's why he walked out so unconcernedly.

Silverlight Fairy's expression remained perfectly serene. She followed him out as well. Upon exiting the door, they found that the teleportation array was located in an underground cave. Apart from a narrow, winding natural passage leading upwards, there were no other exits. Han Li found it rather surprising how the demon race had managed to locate such a secluded place.

A moment later, two streaks of dazzling light shot out from the base of a small mountain on the ground. After circling in the air, they identified a direction and sped off. After these two escape lights had flown for just over a hundred li, one of the green streaks of light suddenly flickered rapidly, becoming increasingly transparent, almost ethereal. As for the other white streak, after a muffled "thud," it transformed into an inconspicuous white cloud. It appeared to drift slowly in the high sky, but in reality, its escape speed was no less than that of the other light streak. With one following the other in this manner, they vanished into the distant horizon in the blink of an eye.

However, just half a day after Han Li and Silverlight Fairy left the teleportation point, the sky suddenly darkened from another direction. A mass of demonic energy, transformed into rolling clouds, swept rapidly towards them. Its speed was so immense that with a single surge, it reached the mountaintop from which Han Li and the others had just flown. The demonic energy then condensed, instantly manifesting into an old man in white armor. This elder had short horns on his head, and his face bore a faint resemblance to the demon Han Li had just killed. He was, in fact, a high-ranking demon at the Integration stage.

He wore an anxious expression. The moment his figure appeared, he transformed into a streak of white light and shot into the hidden passage. But almost within a few breaths, a roar of extreme grief erupted from underground. Then, with a flash of white light, the elder shot out from underground once more. With a flicker, he suddenly appeared atop the small mountain, his eyes blazing with fury as he rapidly scanned the surroundings.

"How dare you harm my beloved grandson! Even if you flee to the ends of the earth, I, this Venerable, will surely tear you to shreds. Found it, this must be the right direction!" The white-armored elder instantly pinpointed the direction Han Li and the others had departed. He let out a low growl, and demonic energy erupted from his body, once again forming a black cloud around him.

The elder then suddenly slapped his waist, and with a clear cry, a ball of black light flew out from it. With a quiver, it transformed into a pitch-black giant crane, ten zhang long. With a movement of his body, the elder turned into a gust of ill wind and appeared on the back of the giant crane. His face ashen, he then fiercely formed a hand seal. Black light flowed over the giant black crane's wings. After a slight blur, four additional black feathered wings suddenly appeared, and all six wings simultaneously flapped gently.

A loud whooshing sound filled the air as the giant black crane shot forth like an arrow. At the same time, the demonic energy radiating from the elder's body surged and spread, enveloping the crane as well. Its escape speed instantly increased by more than twofold!

But just then, a colossal, dark staff, reaching for the sky, suddenly extended from within the black cloud of energy. With a swing, it spanned thousands of zhang and heavily smashed onto the small mountain. Following an earth-shattering crash, countless shattered rocks shot into the air. The massive staff vanished in a phantom-like flash. The small mountain, originally about a thousand zhang tall, was instantly cut in half. This high-ranking demon had, with a single strike of his staff, shattered nearly half of the small mountain! Meanwhile, the giant black crane had already transformed into a mass of black light, covering a thousand li in an instant, vanishing from the nearby sky.

Two hours later, on another massive mountain peak a million li away, two other high-ranking demons were conversing face-to-face.

"Brother Mi," one high-ranking demon with blue demonic patterns etched on his face said with some impatience to his companion, "Why is Old Monster Li taking so long? Didn't he say he was just taking a detour to deliver two protective treasures to his beloved grandson and would return immediately? Is he really planning to put on a longer display of grandparent-grandchild affection? We have important matters to attend to. If we truly delay important matters, we won't be able to account for it to Lord Bloodlight."

"Why are you so anxious, Venerable Lan?" replied the other demon, a bald individual with several foot-long fleshy whiskers at the corners of his mouth, appearing unconcerned. "Old Monster Li isn't someone without judgment; he's most likely already on his way back. Besides, his grandson, who is responsible for monitoring this region, is his only direct bloodline. It's only natural for him to show a little more concern for him now."
