Chapter 1805: Cold Poison

Upon hearing this, Shi Lun was instantly alarmed. Almost without thinking, he swiftly threw the leather pouch behind him.

With a "poof" sound, the leather pouch exploded in mid-air, and a swarm of blood-red venomous bees immediately emerged.

After a buzzing sound, these blood bees instantly transformed into a bloody cloud, heading straight to envelop the young man who had appeared behind Shi Lun at some unknown moment.

The young man was, of course, Han Li, who had used a teleportation spell to suddenly appear there.

Seeing the blood bees charging to envelop him, he smiled faintly.

There were quite a few of these blood bees, perhaps three or four hundred of them. The opponent had cultivated them to their mature stage, having invested an unknown amount of effort. Even Core Formation cultivators would likely be quite wary if they encountered them.

But to him, they were naturally nothing to be concerned about.

Without moving his hands or feet, he merely opened his mouth. A five-colored cold flame spurted out. With a flicker of extreme cold energy, it instantly enveloped the entire swarm of blood bees.

As the five-colored cold light swirled, the entire swarm of blood bees instantly transformed into a massive block of ice, suspended motionlessly in the air.

Seeing this, Shi Lun was naturally both shocked and furious. He raised one hand and instantly produced an ancient cyan mirror.

The mirror surface flashed with a shimmering light, and a hazy cyan beam of light shot out. In an instant, it reached Han Li, who was close by, moving with incredible speed.

Han Li slightly raised an eyebrow and didn't bother to dodge. A hazy glow suddenly swirled in front of him, and a layer of gray light appeared.

The cyan light beam struck the light and vanished without a trace.

Shi Lun himself was completely stunned, his face filled with an expression of disbelief.

Han Li, however, emotionlessly raised an arm and lightly pointed a finger at his opponent.

A cyan thread shot out and silently vanished with a flash.

The next moment, Shi Lun felt a flash of cyan light before his eyes and a chill between his eyebrows. The suddenly appearing cyan thread pierced his entire skull, his body stiffened, and he lost all sensation.

The cyan thread, however, did not stop. After rapidly coiling around Shi Lun's body, it sliced him directly into seven or eight pieces.

The mangled corpse fell, scattering a rain of blood. Even the Nascent Soul hidden within his body was instantly severed and annihilated.

The middle-aged man nearby, who had just narrowly escaped death, was so shocked by the sight that he lost his voice.

The two black-clad cultivators who were fiercely battling Young Master Hai and Qi Lingzi naturally also witnessed Shi Lun's beheading. Their expressions changed drastically, their limbs went cold, and they both showed a look of horror, as if they had seen a ghost.

When Han Li turned his head and his cold gaze swept over them, Shi Lun's two accomplices felt a chill in their hearts and almost simultaneously shook off their opponents. One suddenly released a flying saber, which turned into a white streak of light and fled far away using a spiritual artifact. The other suddenly pulled out a black talisman and, after slapping it on his body, a cloud of black gas immediately emerged, instantly engulfing his figure and rolling away in another direction to escape for his life.

As for Young Master Hai and Qi Lingzi, one was unable to fly at all, while the other was so impoverished he didn't possess a single flying spiritual artifact. They could only stare helplessly as their opponents fled into the distance, and couldn't help but curse angrily on the spot.

Just then, Han Li's faint voice spoke:

"And now, you still think you can leave?"

As soon as his voice fell, a thunderous sound erupted from Han Li's body, and two golden electric arcs shot out. After a few flashes, they caught up to the two fleeing black-clad cultivators from behind.

With two "booms," the two cultivators were incinerated into ashes by the golden lightning before they could even let out a grunt.

Young Master Hai and Qi Lingzi, who had been stomping their feet in frustration, were instantly stunned and stood motionless like wooden chickens.

After a good while, the handsome man grumbled:

"Qi Lingzi, you're a Foundation Establishment cultivator, and Brother Han is also a Foundation Establishment cultivator, but the difference in your divine abilities is simply too vast, isn't it? The opponent you couldn't deal with for quite some time, Brother Han annihilated with a mere wave of his hand. I wonder if you are a bit too weak, or if Brother Han is a bit too powerful."

Still in a state of shock, Qi Lingzi fully regained his senses upon hearing this and immediately, feeling dejected, started to argue repeatedly:

"Young Master, you are also a mid-stage Body Cultivator, and your strength is said to be no less than that of a Foundation Establishment cultivator. Didn't you also fail to subdue your opponent? Besides, I'm so poor that all I have left is this Black Silkworm Wooden Sword, which inherently prevents me from casting many spells."

"Hmph," Young Master Hai scoffed, "anyway, I see that you can't even compare to a single finger of Brother Han's. It's a good thing I wasn't fooled by you into going to Mist Ocean Temple back then. Otherwise, I, Young Master, would have truly suffered a great loss." Young Master Hai's hands flashed with golden light, and a pair of golden gloves instantly vanished. In their place, he produced a fan and lightly fanned himself, shaking his head, his face full of an expression of having foresight.

Qi Lingzi's face reddened slightly from Young Master Hai's words, and he couldn't find any words to retort for a moment. He could only grumble a few more times as if he hadn't heard.

Young Master Hai, having so easily gained the upper hand verbally this time, was naturally content and said nothing more.

Han Li also slowly descended from the air.

"My name is Bai Huaji. May I ask for the names of you fellow Daoists?" the middle-aged man said, having walked over with the girl. He then bowed to the three of them with a grateful expression. "Thank you for your great kindness in saving our lives! Otherwise, my daughter and I would have lost our lives."

But his gaze towards Han Li was involuntarily filled with great reverence.

After all, the divine abilities Han Li had just displayed were simply too astonishing. In just a few exchanges, he had annihilated three cultivators of the same realm, and it looked as if he hadn't even used his true methods. His true strength couldn't be much worse than that of a Core Formation cultivator.

Young Master Hai and Qi Lingzi were clearly being treated with such reverence by a peer for the first time. Immediately, one of them casually said, "It's nothing," while the other, with a smug look, completely accepted the middle-aged man's thanks and casually announced his and Han Li's names.

Han Li glanced faintly at the two of them, then shifted his gaze to the girl named Bai Guo'er.

The girl was shyly standing behind her father, curiously observing the three of them. After her gaze met Han Li's, she timidly dodged slightly, a bit scared, and completely hid behind the middle-aged man.

"Oh, your daughter seems to be unwell, doesn't she?" Han Li exclaimed softly after observing for a moment, a hint of astonishment appearing on his face.

"Ah, Brother Han can discern the cold poison within my daughter," the middle-aged man exclaimed, also showing a look of surprise.

"Yes, the icy cold energy has already penetrated deep into her Dantian and meridians," Han Li said, blue light flashing several times in the depths of his pupils. "If it's not expelled soon, your daughter will perish within three years at most. However, it doesn't seem to be an ordinary icy cold poison. It might be quite troublesome to truly cure it." His words made the middle-aged man's body tremble.

"What? Fellow Daoist, are you saying this cold poison can be cured?" Bai Huaji stammered repeatedly, almost disbelieving his own ears, his voice trembling.

Han Li smiled faintly, about to reply, but then he suddenly frowned. He looked up towards the horizon in a certain direction, as if he had discovered something.

The others were startled by this and couldn't help but look in the same direction, but the distant sky was empty, with no abnormality whatsoever.
